Rei’s 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Closed)

"Oi, y/n. Get changed. We're going out." A cool voice resounded through the study room and you looked up. You were at your statistics professor's house studying for your statistics exam next week. Although your grades had been improving since having those private lessons with your professor-cum-secret-lover, you were still not confident in scoring well for the upcoming exam.

"H-huh?" You uttered, feeling confused. Levi let out a sigh.

"Look at yourself," he came closer and cupped your cheek, using his fingers to ease the frown between your eyebrows. "I know you've been studying hard. You deserve a break. Your dark circles are terrible." You let out a small chuckle.

"It's fine, love. I'm fine. I don't need a break, I want to score well and make you proud."

"Study hard for yourself, not to please me. Also, go get changed." Levi kissed your forehead and left, not giving you a chance to argue. You giggled and followed him to the bedroom where you kept some of your spare clothes.

The trip to the strawberry farm took about an hour, and even though the sun was hanging high up in the sky, the heat wasn't hurting your skin at all. Levi took out his cap and put in on for you before ushering you out of the car. You could feel butterflies in your stomach, unsure if it was from the excitement of spending time out of the house with your secret lover, or nervousness because you've never done this before.

"Hey, Uncle Jon," Levi waved to a tall middle aged man with dusty blonde hair. You looked at him and felt that he looked a little familiar. You gingerly followed behind Levi, walking towards a tiny shop house.

"Levi, m'boy, you're here!" The middle aged man grabbed Levi's hands and happily clapped his back. "Oh, and who's this charming young lady?" You quickly bowed and introduced yourself. Just then, another vaguely familiar face appeared by the doorway.

"Oh, you're here," Mike shrugged, giving Levi a fist bump. Ahh, you connected the dots together. "That's Mike's father, Jonathan." You greeted Mike and he gave you a small smile.

"Didn't know Associate Professor Zacharias' family owned a strawberry farm," you whispered as Uncle Jonathan ushered you both inside, insisting on offering you two drinks before going off to pluck strawberries.

"Yeah, Mike comes back to help out during the semester breaks. Erwin and I would drop by sometimes too."

Once you two had your fill of water, Uncle Jon passed you both gloves, two baskets, some tweezers, and told you both to enjoy yourselves.

"Ever done this before?" Levi asked as he put on his gloves. You shook your head and followed behind him as he squat down in front of a small bush.

"It's easy, just look for strawberries that are ripe, snip them off from the stem, and put them gently in the basket. Don't want to bruise them." Levi demonstrated for you by cutting a few juicy fat strawberries, bringing one to your mouth. You stared at him wide-eyed.

"Go on, have a taste," Levi signalled again and offered you the juicy berry.

"Huh? B-but, we haven't paid yet, isn't t-this—"

"It's fine, Erwin always does this anyway. Go on, kitten, have one." You took a bite from the strawberry and felt your eyes widened once more. They were sweet with a slight sour punch, and it tasted really crunchy too.

"Wow, these are fantastic! So much nicer than the ones we get at the supermarket," you took another smaller strawberry from the basket and started munching.

"Told you." Levi gave you a slight smile and continued harvesting the strawberries. Picking up a pair of tweezers, you decided to try picking some of your own too. Your knees were starting to ache after remaining in the squatting position for so long, and you decided to take a walk. Levi had already gone on ahead of you, harvesting a basket full of strawberries. Your feet automatically found their way towards Levi where he was squatting in front of another strawberry bush, snipping the juicy fruits.

"You doing okay? The sun's pretty hot today." Levi glanced upwards, his face a bright red. You smiled and took off the cap, placing it on Levi's head.

"Mm-hmm, I'm fine. My knees are hurting so I decided to take a walk." You looked at the basket full of strawberries by Levi's feet, and you found another full basket a few steps away. You glanced at the basket in your hands. Where did the extra basket come from? "Love, didn't Uncle Jonathan only give us two baskets?" Levi looked away and you couldn't tell if his cheeks were red from getting a sunburn or if he was embarrassed about something.

"I was just thinking that, um, you know, I wanted to make some homemade strawberry jam for you as a treat, since you've been working hard," Levi stood up and held your hand, wiping a bead of perspiration from your forehead using another. "I secretly got another basket from Uncle Jon to harvest more strawberries for you. Who knew you were sharp enough to realise there was one extra." Levi pinched your nose playfully and you giggled, feeling the butterflies flutter once again. You grabbed Levi's hands, a rush of appreciation and love overflowing within you.

"I'll just pretend I didn't hear that." Staring at Levi, you pressed a soft kiss to his pretty lips. "Thank you, love. I really appreciate it, from bringing me out on such a lovely day, and for whatever"—you used your fingers to gesture two quotation marks in the air—"surprise you're planning for me tomorrow." Levi scoffed and ruffled your hair affectionately, squatting down to grab a few more strawberries to feed you.

Before you knew it, you and Levi spent the entire afternoon at the farm. After dinner with the Zacharias', Levi and you waved goodbye to them and went home with a large harvest of strawberries. You couldn't contain your smile, and you definitely couldn't wait to have a taste of Levi's homemade strawberry jam tomorrow.

Well I've only been to strawberry picking once and I hope that it is still relatable for all of you hehe. Also... maybe once you've done picking these strawberries, strawberries and chocolate would be nice :p can you imagine though, Levi making you strawberry jam from scratch... yes please!!!!!

Also!! Out of all of Levi's friends, I can totally picture Mike's parents owning a farm and just... living the country life 💚 know who else would enjoy the country life??? Moblit!!!!

A/N: Hi anon! Wow, my first ever character x male reader request!! Thank you for trusting me with this, and I really hope you like this! :-) it's my first time writing for a male reader, so I hope you can forgive me too if I made any mistakes or inaccuracies!!!!

Although this is for a male reader, I wrote this with a gender neutral reader in mind, so I hope everyone can enjoy this! Also, Levi and you are in the dating phase, so you two are still trying to have fun and getting to know each other better. And, there will be some swearing and also usage of nicknames like 'bro' and 'dude'.

Also, I have no idea how arcades are like in other countries oops, so I'm basing it on arcades where I live!!

Rei’s 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Closed)

Making your way to the shopping mall where Levi told you to meet, you saw him slouching against one of the pillars, looking at his watch. Levi was dressed casually; a black hoodie, ripped jeans, and a pair of Air Jordans. Even in such casual clothing, Levi looked good. Levi's slightly messy hair gave him a really boyish and cool look too.

"Yo, 'sup Levi," you called out, waving when Levi turned to look at you. Levi eyed you up and down. You chose to wear a simple white t-shirt with skinny jeans, your favourite pair of Converse high cut sneakers, and you brought along a denim jacket as well.

"Looking good," Levi nodded, giving you a high five and a slight shoulder bump. You felt your cheeks heat up at the slight contact, pretending to arrange your hair to hide your flush.

"So, where to first?" Levi asked as you both headed into the shopping mall.

"Hmm, do you wanna go to the arcade? I think I still have some leftover credits in my card—" you dug around your wallet and fished out a blue coloured membership card.

"Yeah, sure. I could do with some games," Levi nodded, telling you to lead the way. Once you two reached the arcade, you quickly tapped your membership card on the card reader, and was pleased to find that you still had about $50 value inside. Music from the games were blaring, children were excited to see their parents catch something for them with the claw machine, couples were taking cute photos together at the sticker print booths, and groups of friends tried their hands on games like Mario Kart.

"So, what do you wanna play? Basketball, Dance Dance Revolution, or... The House of the Dead?" Looking around, the basketball machine was unoccupied. Levi gestured towards the direction of the basketball machine.

"Wanna play some ball? The two booths are empty anyway." You smiled and walked over, tapping your card on the card reader of both machines.

"Loser has to treat the winner to dessert." You flexed your wrists as the music chimed.

"Deal."

Pressing the '2P' button, the first round began. You each had 45 seconds to score as many points as you can by shooting the balls through the hoops. Levi was surprisingly good at basketball, he shot majority of the 3-point balls accurately, and he won by a landslide. Starting the second round, you both still had 45 seconds to score as many points as you can, but during the last 20 seconds, the hoops started to move left and right. Once more, Levi won the round with a score of 56-34.

"Dude, you sure you're not cheating?" You joked as Levi cracked his knuckles.

"Tch. I played Forward for my high school's basketball team." Levi smirked as he prepared for the final round.

"Ooh. Nice. I was in my high school's basketball team too, but I'm usually on the bench." You laughed out as the last round started. For the last round, you both only had 30 seconds to score, and during the last 10 seconds, scores were doubled. Once more, Levi won with a score of 49-30.

"Guess I earned myself a free dessert," Levi looked at you smugly as you grabbed the tickets being dispensed from the machine. The game of basketball was fun, and you looked at the empty Dance Dance Revolution machine. You tapped Levi's shoulder, pointing to the machine.

"Hey, up for some DDR?"

"You bet your ass I am, bro." Levi smirked as you both made your way over to the machine. Tapping your card on the reader, the both of you pressed the start button and chose the two player mode. Levi gave you the honours to choose the first out of three songs.

"I'm not bragging, but I'm hell good at this," you looked at Levi before starting slow, choosing a slow but popular dance track.

"Starting easy with 'Butterfly', huh?" You merely shrugged as the familiar introduction started playing. Both Levi and you scored a full combo, but your score was higher as you had more 'perfects' than he did. You grinned and told Levi to choose the second track. After some contemplation, Levi chose a slower song.

"Tired already, bro?" You joked. 'So in Love' was a groovy song, but it was slower than the previous track, but it had more notes. "Watch me, I'm gonna get more perfects than you." Levi retorted and you shrugged, thinking if you should lose a few notes to let Levi beat you.

In the end, Levi did get more perfects than you, and his score beat you by a slight margin. You wondered if Levi could tell that you let him win on purpose. Yet, Levi didn't show any signs of realising. You decided to go ahead and choose a fun challenging song for the last stage.

"Beethoven's Virus? Are you fucking shitting me?" Levi frowned as you selected the last song. Beethoven's Virus was one of the fastest and most challenging songs in the game. You knew it was difficult, but you wanted to have fun with Levi. Furthermore, Levi's overall score was leading and you wanted an opportunity to perhaps screw up and let Levi win.

"Come on, bro, let's have fun since it's the final stage," you gave Levi a playful punch on the shoulder. Levi gave you a shy grin and told you to focus in the screen. You could feel your face threatening to split into a smile, and you quickly willed yourself to focus on the last stage and not how handsome Levi looked.

At last, the final scores were announced, and Levi did win the final stage. Again, you wondered if Levi could tell you let him win on purpose. However, Levi looked happy as he quickly combed his now damp fringe.

"Looks like I'm getting another free dessert." Levi smiled as he reached his hand out towards you. Holding the tickets in one hand, you took Levi's hand with your other, feeling your heart threatening to burst at the contact.

"What would you like then? Smoothies, ice cream, waffles and chicken?" You smiled as you both left the arcade hand in hand. Levi remained silent, stopping by the mall's directory.

"Up for a movie? We can get some popcorn too." Levi's hand tightened around yours as he gave you a small smile. You nodded your head enthusiastically and followed behind Levi, grabbing his hand a little tighter as well.

And just in case some of you are not sure of the games I've mentioned, the clips of the DDR game play are in the hyperlinks of the song titles ^^ my favourite thing to play in the arcade is definitely DDR lol, my dancer reputation is at stake whenever I play this xD this is an example of how crazy the hardest level can get HAHAHA. I am not at this level lol. Also if you do not know what DDR is....

Since Hannah have never been on a date and once talked about wanting to experience an arcade date, Erwin surprised her. Lots of funny things happened: not knowing how to operate the games like old people on their 30s but acts like teenagers when they won, persuading the staff to exchange their tickets to something they actually want🤣thank you😘teehee i wuv u 😘

Rei’s 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Closed)

It was five in the evening when your date for the night appeared by your doorstep. He was dressed in a polo shirt and shorts, and his blonde hair was neatly styled as well. You opted for a simple floral dress and brought along a cardigan. You were extremely nervous and hoped that you were not too underdressed since it was your very first time going on a date. You stared at your date from head to toe as you opened the door. Should I compliment him first, or should I wait for him to say something first?

"Hi Er—" "You look nice—"

The both of you spoke at the same time, pausing in your sentences after realising. You looked at your feet embarrassed while the man standing in front of you rubbed his neck awkwardly.

"Hi, Hannah. I, uh, what I wanted to say earlier was, you look really nice." Erwin looked at you and gave you a soft smile.

"You look nice yourself," you replied and stepped out of the house, locking your door securely before following Erwin to his car. When Erwin first asked you out, you told him that you had no preferences for anything, and you told Erwin to plan the night's itinerary. You had no idea how a date with a man should be like, and you didn't know what to expect. You played with your fingers nervously during the car ride; Erwin didn't tell you where you were going and what had he planned. Stopping at a shopping mall, Erwin parked the car and lead you towards a restaurant.

Dinner went on really well, and Erwin's calm demeanour really put you at ease. Erwin didn't find the need to constantly talk, and he was an excellent listener and a really thoughtful speaker too. You couldn't wait to find out what else he had planned. Erwin walked you out of the restaurant after paying the bill, and lead you to the highest floor of the shopping mall.

Hmm... maybe a movie? You thought to yourself, until Erwin walked past the cinema and lead you towards the arcade.

"An arcade...?" You looked at Erwin, feeling the jitters again all of a sudden. Erwin nodded and his cheek turned a little pink.

"Yeah... I, uh"—Erwin rubbed his neck again—"I remember you mentioning before that you really wanted to go on a date to the arcade and, uh... Yeah. Here we are." You could feel your cheeks heating up as well. You once mentioned it really casually when Erwin asked what your ideal first date was, and you candidly told him that an arcade date would be really fun. You never expected Erwin to remember what you said. You felt your heart skip a beat, and you couldn't hide the wide smile that appeared on your face too.

"Come on, let's go!" You grabbed Erwin's arm and pulled him inside the arcade. The neon lights were stunning and the loud music was booming, you didn't know where to start.

"Should we try these?" You pointed to an empty machine with two plastic guns hanging on the side. Erwin agreed and you two walked over, figuring out how to get it to start.

"Uhhh..." You looked around and saw people holding a kind of card and tapping on some screen on the machine they wanted to play, "Oh, Erwin, I think we're supposed to purchase a card, I think...?" You sheepishly tapped his arm and pointed to a couple not far from you. Erwin then told you to wait by the machine while he went to buy the card. He came back a few minutes later holding a red coloured card with the arcade's name on it.

"There was a promotion for new members, so I bought the $50 package and we have an extra 50 tickets inside our card too." Erwin smiled as he approached you. Tapping on the small screen, the monitor on the machine changed and you both started playing the shooting game, earning about 40 tickets in total.

Looking for something else to play, you decided to go for a rhythm game. It seemed rather simple; you just have to choose a song and tap the rhythm icons you see on the screen, and after three rounds, the total scores will be tabulated and the amount of tickets you win will be given accordingly to your grades.

"This looks fun, let's try it!" Erwin tapped the card on the small machine again and chose the two player mode. There were many different game modes and different genres of songs to choose from. You were lost for choices, but you only had 10 more seconds to choose.

You lamented and randomly picked a song at the last second. It turned out to be a really fast song that was of a high difficulty too. You could hardly register how to tap or drag the notes on the screen when the music suddenly started, surprising both you and Erwin. The both of you failed the first round miserably because the different notes were flying all over the screen, and you couldn't react fast enough. Erwin managed to score a few combos, but he did terribly too.

"Well, that was funny," Erwin laughed when the three rounds ended. The both of you only managed to earn 14 tickets from the rhythm game. "My eyes could hardly focus on the notes." The both of you decided to play a game that was similar to whack-a-mole, but it was a machine with four coloured buttons: red, green, blue, and yellow. Erwin tapped the card on the machine and the instructions began. The third game was really fun, and it really tested your reaction and speed. Every time you two won a round, you both happily cheered and gave each other a high-five. The both of you managed to earn quite a few tickets because the game was really easy. You gleefully followed Erwin and walked to the ticket exchange booth once you both were done for the night.

"What do you want to exchange as a prize?" Erwin and you looked at the many plush toys, board games, lollipops, potato chips, small trinkets like yo-yos and slinkies, and even bags of cartoon characters on display.

"Hmm... I don't know, there's so many to choose from."

Erwin told you that there were about 200 tickets in your balance. You were thinking if you should get a teddy bear soft toy, or a cute fluffy rabbit sling bag.

"Erwin, do you want anything?" Erwin shook his head and told you to choose whatever you wanted. You decided to exchange for two cute plastic fairy wands so that both you and Erwin had something to bring home. The staff took a blue wand and a pink wand and scanned the barcodes, and deducted the balance from the card. Erwin took the prizes and thanked the staff, but you were still looking at the prizes on the shelves.

"Hi, erm, I was wondering... is it okay if I change the prizes to something else that cost the same as what I exchanged earlier?" You asked the staff as Erwin walked towards you, "I think I like the crowns better than the fairy wands."

"Ah, I'm sorry, but I already scanned the barcodes of your prizes, so I can't change it for you."

"But they're of the same value, can't you override the system or something?" You asked again, but the staff insisted that you couldn't change the prizes. You felt that the little plastic crowns looked a lot cuter than the fairy wands, and you were hoping that you could exchange for them instead.

"All right, never mind then. Thanks." You sighed dejectedly and followed Erwin out of the booth when the staff called you two back in again. The staff passed you the plastic crowns and said it wasn't allowed, but they decided to give you an exception. You thanked the staff and left the arcade with Erwin. Taking one of the crown out of the plastic carrier, you tip toed and placed the crown on Erwin's head with a small smile.

"Thought this would look nicer on you than the wand," you looked away, feeling the jitters once more. Erwin looked at you and smiled before taking out the other crown and putting it on your head too.

"This looks nicer on you too." Erwin gave you a little bow and offered you his palm. "Do I have the honours of holding your hand, my dear lady?" You bit your lip and tried to hide your smile. Erwin was indeed a gentleman and this first date with him had gone so perfectly. You were already hoping for a second one.

"Yes," you giggled, placing your hand in Erwin's as you two walked on ahead, wondering if Erwin was bringing you for some dessert.

First shooting game: Time Crisis [Good old classic arcade game, 2p version. The video is about 20 mins but you don't have to watch the full thing :-)]

Second rhythm game: Maimai (god level) // Maimai (another god level) [Yes, god level players wear gloves when playing this game.]

Third arcade game: Bishi Bashi [It's really fun, especially when you play with others. You can have up to four players (iirc???) and LMAO the chaos and shouting is so funny XD]

For your 600 follower event, can I get English breakfast tea and a scone? I’m a huge fan of Lord of the Rings and I talk through the movies a lot, quoting and critiquing them.

I also apologise for the amount of dialogues in there oops! Having a lovers' squabble with Jean was actually pretty fun to write. Also, I had to rely on youtube videos for a crash course on LOTR so I hope I managed to nail something, and I hope you'll like it too!

Once a month, you and your boyfriend Jean would organise a movie marathon, and this month, is was your turn to host and choose a movie. You chose to watch The Lord of the Rings as it was your absolute favourite, and you would never miss a chance to watch the movies over and over again.

You two prepared loads of snacks as you knew how long the movies were. There were salted and caramel popcorn, nachos and cheese, pretzels, crackers and dips, veggie chips, cookies, biscuits, chocolate, and also soft drinks as well.

"Remind me how long the marathon would last again?" Jean questioned as you sat on the couch, holding a large bowl of freshly popped caramel popcorn.

"It's 11 hours and 26 minutes, Jean," you giggled, feeding him some hot popcorn. Jean raised his eyebrow.

"Really? I swear the internet told me it was shorter."

You rolled your eyes and laughed, eating some popcorn, "of course it's longer, honey. We have to go with the extended version. It's the only acceptable answer." Jean took the blanket and covered it over both your legs.

"I better not catch you dozing off halfway, then." Jean playfully pinched your cheek. "You always doze off when we get to The Two Towers."

"Nah-uh, not today, sweetie," you laughed and ate some more popcorn, "I'm gonna stay awake." Jean merely smirked and muttered 'that's what you said the last time' under his breath.

"I heard that," you scowled, playfully poking Jean on his ticklish spots making him howl with laughter, "I'll stay awake this time. I promise." Once Jean stopped laughing and you both were comfortable, you took the remote control and started the movie.

"You actually did stay up all the way, huh?" Jean stretched and yawned loudly when the credits started rolling. Looking at the clock in the living room, it was already close to 7am. Maybe you two could even go to the café nearby for breakfast. You finished your cup of lemonade and turned to face your boyfriend.

"I told you I was going to stay awake." You looked at Jean smugly, stretching your neck and your arms. The both of you continued watching the ending credits roll by silently. You've always had a lingering question in your head every time you watched The Lord of the Rings, and this time, you needed to get this question out of your mind.

"Jean." You broke the silence after the credits finished rolling.

"Hmm?"

"Can I ask you something?"

Jean sensed your tone of voice a little different than usual. He eyed you nervously and gulped before nodding, "... yeah?"

"What would you do... if you were in Aragorn's shoes?" You turned to Jean as he looked at you silently. "What would you have done if it were you?"

Jean was tongue-tied. He looked as though he had something to say, yet he just opened and closed his mouth like a gaping goldfish.

"I would've done the same, you know," you turned towards the TV again, "I would've done what Arwen did. I'd give up immortality for a life with the person I love most."

"And I would stop you from doing so, exactly like what Aragorn did."

"But why?" You questioned Jean again, and he remained silent. "Why would you do that?"

"Because I would want you to be happy." Jean stared hard at you. "I—j-just, well. Just imagine. You would've outlived me, for sure. What will happen to you once I'm gone? You're going to be all alone, and you're going to be miserable. You're going to die of a broken heart like Arwen, and I wouldn't want that to happen to you. I don't want you to suffer."

"I beg to differ," you took Jean's hand and held it, "I don't care about all that. Yeah, sure, I will be alone, but at least I was happy. I may be heartbroken without you, but I wouldn't have any regrets. I'd rather live a short but fulfilling life and die of a broken heart than to live a long life filled with regrets."

Jean gripped your hand tighter, staring hard at you again. "Sweetie. Listen to me. That's silly, and very risky, okay? Arwen chose to give up her immortality and look at what happened? If the ring wasn't destroyed, she would have died. All her choices and decisions would have gone to waste."

"But look at them! Arwen saw her future with Aragorn, and they even had a family together. She decided to take a gamble for her happiness and for the man she loved. If that isn't the purest and most beautiful form of love, I don't know what else is.

"Sometimes you just have to take a gamble, honey," you loosened your grip and gently cupped Jean's cheek, "I'll put my faith in the people I trust, and I believe in them too. I'll do anything in my power to be with you.

"Remember what Arwen said to Aragorn in Rivendell? She said 'I would rather share one lifetime with you than face all the ages of this world alone', and that is exactly what I want to tell you too. It doesn't matter that I'll be alone. What matters is that I get be with you, and that's already more than enough."

Jean looked at you again and sighed, laughing and shaking his head in defeat, "fine, sweetie, you win, okay? I'm yours until the end of eternity."

Smiling, you gently pat Jean's cheek, giving him a kiss. "And so am I. I'm yours until the end of eternity too."

As you stretched your limbs on the couch, Jean looked at you again and suddenly, he pulled you into his embrace and hugged you tightly. Your arms snaked up his back and hugged him in return, and the both of you remained in each other's embrace.

"I know your question was hypothetical, but don't ask me things like this again, 'kay? It's scary." Jean muttered out of a sudden, causing you to break out a laughter.

"You're ruining the moment, Jean, shhh," you giggled, nuzzling your head in the crook of his neck, "just keep quiet and hug me." The both of you continued hugging each other on the couch, until Jean's stomach rumbled loudly, making you burst out laughing again.

"Well I'm sorry to ruin the moment again, but I'm starving, and I want food. Proper food." Your giant boyfriend grumbled and shook himself free from the hug. "Let's wash up and get breakfast." Jean complained again and pushed himself off the couch, dragging you to the bathroom while you had a wide smile on your face.

A/N: Hello my dear Savi, and thank you so much for the support!!!! Sorry this took so long, and I hope you'll enjoy this fun-filled amusement park date with Jean-boi!!!! I had so much fun writing this one, so I really hope you'll feel the same too 💛

This might be a little longer than usual since there's quite a bit of description involved haha. Also, making reference to an irl amusement park so, please sit back and have fun!!

Rei’s 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Closed)

You couldn't contain your excitement the moment your boyfriend told you about his plans for the weekend. You even woke up extra early today to doll up and choose your outfit. The trip to Universal Studios was your motivation to get through the week. Jean rung your doorbell at 9am sharp and you eagerly grabbed your bag, flying into his embrace the moment you opened the door.

"Hey, watch it," Jean grimaced as he rubbed his foot because you accidentally stepped on him. "I don't want to limp all day, you know." You mumbled an apology and quickly locked the door, holding Jean's hand and making your way to his motorbike. Fastening your helmet snugly for you, Jean started the engine, letting it rev for a while as he helped you up on the pillion seat.

"Ready to go, cutie?" Jean turned around and brought the helmet's shield down. You nodded and hugged Jean's waist tight. Jean kicked the side stand up and rode off.

It was the weekend, and Universal Studios was packed with families, couples, friends, and tourists. It was a good thing Jean bought the tickets online weeks before. Once the both of you walked through the gantry, you took out your phone and started taking photos of the large Universal Studios globe in front of you, pulling Jean closer for a few selfies too.

"Okay, where to first?" Jean asked once you were happy with how your selfies turned out.

"Hmm..." you contemplated, looking through the map you took at the entrance earlier. The entire amusement park was divided into many areas, and you didn't know where to start. "Oh! How about we start from the Hollywood world? The Attack on Titan ride is nearby too!" You excitedly pulled Jean towards the left when he stopped in his tracks.

"Hey, babe, wait—" you turned around, puzzled. "Are you sure you want to start with a VR ride?"

"Are you scared, Jean?" You teased, poking him in the ribs playfully. Jean stuttered and vehemently denied, insisting he didn't want to start the day with a queasy stomach.

"Okay okay, Jean Bear, let's go to the Universal Wonderland first then, shall we?" You chuckled and pulled Jean towards the right side of the entrance, and you were greeted with the cute characters from Hello Kitty, Sesame Street, and Snoopy. The area was filled with many young children with their families, and there were only a few couples and groups of friends around the area. Jean's towering height stuck out from the crowd.

"O-oi, don't you think we're a little too old for the rides here? They're for kids." You were looking at a sign which said 'The Flying Snoopy' and Jean tugged your blouse. You wiggled your eyebrows again and pulled Jean's hand, walking towards the next area. Going straight ahead, you saw a huge shark prop near the entrance of the next ride.

"Yes!!!! Babe!" You excitedly tapped Jean's arm and pointed to the large 'Jaws' sign in front. "It's the Jaws ride!" Jean and you went forward and stood next to the huge shark to have your photo taken, and you were informed by the staff that the photo can be purchased at the Jaws souvenir shop. The both of you went to queue for the Jaws ride. Once it was your turn, the both of you went up the boat and Jean took the seat closest to the edge of the boat. The staff steering the boat started introducing the ride and you took photos of the realistic props and even of the 'sharks' fins that appeared on the surface of the water.

The ride was immersive and interesting, and Jaws appeared a few times during the ride too, scaring most of the people on board. As you and Jean exited the area, the both of you reached a fork and you lead Jean towards the right towards the Super Nintendo World. Once the staff checked your tickets, they guided you forward and when you two were at the entrance to Super Nintendo World, there were a few green pipes below the large sign, and you and Jean managed to get a couple to help take some photos. On the other side, there were some stalls selling the power-up bands from the Super Mario game, and Jean got you a Princess Peach band while he got himself a Mario one.

Moving forward, what greeted you two at the end was a beautiful and immersive landscape of the Nintendo universe. There were green hills and piranha plants, spinning golden coins, mystery boxes, and the staff were dressed up like Mario. Jean's face lit up with excitement and he pointed towards the first ride which was the 'Mario Kart: Koopa's Challenge'.

Once the AR Mario Kart game was over, you both exited and were at the souvenir shop. The both of you also played many mini-games, collecting points using the power-up band purchased at the entrance, and you two had lunch at Kinopio's Café as well. All the items in the menu were modelled after characters from the Super Mario game, and they were really cute. There was another merchandise shop, and the two of you decided to get souvenirs. The both of you got some chocolate, pens, and also Super Nintendo World t-shirts.

"Did you like it, Jean Bear?" You asked Jean after exiting the shop, making your way towards Jurassic Park up ahead. Jean grinned and kiss your crown. Throughout the afternoon, the both of you continued exploring the different areas such as Jurassic Park, Minion Park, New York, Hollywood, and finally you ended at the place you were most excited for.

The way to the Attack on Titan XR ride was full of souvenirs and gift shops selling clothes, accessories, collectables, and items from the series. You had to control yourself and not get everything that caught your eye. In the end, Jean and you got yourselves the green cloak with the Wings of Freedom emblazed on the back. There was also a statue of the Colossal Titan and statues of the main trio at the entrance of the XR ride. The both of you queued up for the ride and had your photos taken at the booths as well.

After the ride, Jean and you decided to have dinner at the café where the food was themed after the Attack on Titan characters too. You took out your phone and looked at all the pictures taken today, and you took photos of the souvenirs you got and excitedly uploaded them to your social media accounts too. Once you both were done eating, Jean took your hand and you both left Universal Studios, making your way to Jean's motorbike for the ride home.

"Did you have fun today?" Jean asked after walking you to your door. You nodded and hugged him tightly. You and Jean spent the whole day at Universal Studios and your feet were aching from all the standing and walking, but you enjoyed every moment with Jean.

"Of course I did, Jean Bear. Every moment with you is always a joy," you tiptoed and pressed a kiss on Jean's lips. "Especially hearing you scream during the Jurassic Park ride. It was extremely memorable." Jean's face turned red and stuttered again.

"It w-was the sound effects! T-the t-rex was too loud!" Jean looked away embarrassingly. "You're no better, you shrieked when Jaws came out of the water!" You laughed and tried to tickle Jean again, but Jean grabbed your wrist and pulled you in for a hug instead.

"I had fun today, and I'm glad you did too. You smiled really brightly today." Jean released you slightly and pulled your face closer, giving you a soft kiss. You could feel yourself smiling into the kiss as well.

"It's because you're with me, Jean. Thank you for today. It was really fun!" You gave your boyfriend another tight hug. "But next time, we're definitely going on the Attack on Titan ride first." Jean frowned and urged you to go back inside, reminding you to soak for feet in warm water since you've spent half the time standing and queuing for the rides. You nodded and kissed Jean's cheek, wishing him a safe ride back, and reminding him to call you when he's home.

Yes I know the anime rides only exist in USJ XD but let's all pretend that we ARE indeed sitting on those rides okay!!!!!! And unfortunately the AOT XR ride in USJ is currently closed for maintenance :c also!!! Jean would definitely be excited for the Nintendo world because you know what... So am I hahaha.

Also, I seriously think that Jean would ride a motorbike instead of owning a car lol!! Can you imagine being Jean's pillion and just... hugging his waist as he rides.... brain goes brrrrrrrrr!!!

Rei’s 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Closed)

It was the long-awaited weekend, and your trip to the beach with Levi. You wore a cute pink coloured polka dot one-piece swimsuit and slipped on a pair of denim shorts. Putting on a cap, you took one of Levi’s button shirts and put it on, packing a large bag with extra clothes, towels, handheld fans, and sunblock. You also pleaded Levi to get you a large bag full of different buckets, shovels, spades, and moulds for building sandcastles, and you took the bag out from the storeroom. Levi came out of the toilet and frowned at you.

“Why are you wearing my shirt, you brat? Don’t you have your own?” You merely stuck out your tongue playfully at him. Once you both were well-packed, Levi took your hand and the large bag filled with clothing while you took the bag filled with sandcastle-building tools. The both of you exited the house and made your way to the beach.

The weather was perfect, and the skies were clear. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and the crowd size wasn’t overwhelming as well. Levi took out a large mat and placed it under a tree, placing the bags on top as weight. You stared expectantly at Levi, eyes darting between the sea and Levi.

“Tch, go on. I know you want to play in the water already.” Levi chuckled and you quickly removed all your layers, running towards the shoreline.

“I’ll find some seashells for you!” You exclaimed excitedly before stepping into the cool sea water, feeling the sand between your toes. It felt good to be connected with nature after a long time. Remembering your little promise to Levi, you started looking around the shore for some seashells. You managed to find some common ones like the cockles and scallop shells, and also pretty spiral ones like the tulip shells. Hunting deeper, you managed to find a beautiful Florida Horse conch hiding underneath the sand. You quickly placed all the shells you found into a bucket and made your way back to Levi.

“Levi, look what I found!” You beamed, proudly showing all the seashells you collected. Levi patted your head affectionately, opening a bottle of water for you to drink. While you were quenching your thirst, Levi wrapped a towel around you and briefly dried you up, afraid that you might catch a cold.

“When are you going to join me, Levi? It’s not a date if I’m the only one having fun,” you pouted, passing him the bottle so that he could take a drink too. Levi shrugged.

“Don’t want to get a suntan.”

“That’s the whole point of coming out to the beach.”

“Someone needs to take care of our bags.”

“Levi, no one’s going to steal anything.”

“There’s too many people.”

“We can just have fun on our own.” You rolled your eyes, thinking of ways to get Levi to build sandcastles with you.

“Oh, come on, Levi, build some sandcastles with me, won’t you?” You pouted again, staring at him with sad puppy-like eyes. Levi looked at you before letting out a sigh.

“Fine. Let me put on some sunblock first and I’ll join you.” Levi relented and took off his shirt, squeezing some sunblock into his palms and rubbed them all over his arms. You took the bottle of sunblock, helping to apply them on his back. Levi helped you apply the sunblock as well, even though you insisted not to. Once Levi felt that you both were ‘sufficiently protected from the UV rays’, you took Levi’s hand and dragged him to the shoreline. Standing by the shore, you pushed Levi into the water out of a sudden, laughing triumphantly when Levi emerged from the water soaking wet.

“Tch, you brat!” Levi frowned and sped towards you grabbing your waist and pulling you into the water with him. You squealed, feeling Levi tickle your sensitive spots and splashing water all over you. The both of you wrestled in the water, both trying to tickle the other, none of you wanting to give up first.

“Fine, Levi, fine! You win,” you howled with laughter after a while, admitting your defeat and smiling at Levi. Pulling Levi out of the water, the both of you walked back to your bags to drink more water. You took the large bag of tools to build sandcastles and dragged Levi back to the shoreline again. Taking out some buckets and a shovel, you passed them to Levi, instructing him to bring back some buckets of sand while you remained behind to build the sandcastle. Once there were enough buckets of sand, the both of you started constructing the sandcastle together.

Within the next few hours, your sandcastle was complete. The both of you built a decent-sized castle with seven towers and a main building. You took some small seashells that you collected earlier and decorated them on the sandcastle’s towers as well. Levi hugged you close and looked at the sandcastle you two built.

“Hang on,” Levi patted your arm and ran back to where your belongings were, washing his hands with some water and drying them before taking out his phone. He ran back to you a while later. Levi also took a thin branch from the coastline.

“Move back a little for me, sweetie.” Levi told you and you took a few steps back, moving closer towards the shore. Levi smoothened out the sand with his feet before tracing something around the sandcastle with the branch. A while later, Levi told you to come back. Your heart warmed at the sight. Levi drew a heart shaped border around the sandcastle and wrote both your names inside the heart as well.

“Didn’t know you were so romantic, Levi.” You giggled, hugging Levi and kissing him full on the lips. Levi laced an arm around you, breaking the kiss a while later.

“Thought you would like it,” Levi hugged you close again and took a photo of the sandcastle. “Let’s ask someone to take a photo of us together, hmm?” You nodded, and Levi went off to ask a passing couple to help take photos of the both of you with your wonderful creation. They praised the sandcastle you two made and said goodbye with a wide smile. The both of you wordlessly looked at your sandcastle.

“I love this, Levi. Thank you.” You smiled at Levi, watching the waves slowly wash your sandcastle away after a while. Levi pressed a soft kiss to your forehead.

“As long as it makes you happy, sweetie.”

I wish Armin was real so he can teach me all about the different seashells ;_; but oh well, had to make do with what Google gave me! Here are the seashells I was referring to ^^ also, I have no idea if the Florida House conch can be found in all beaches so, please just enjoy this for the sake of this drabble!!!

It was the weekend and Levi asked if you wanted to come over to his place to spend the afternoon. Levi mentioned that he had two boxes of blueberries in his refrigerator too, and you suggested baking muffins.

You went ahead to get all the necessities before going over to Levi's place excitedly, noticing how he had already prepared all the muffin trays and cups, mixing bowls, spatulas, and also the mittens. You gave him a wide smile, washing your hands and getting ready for your afternoon baking date with Levi.

"And now... just let the oven do its work!" You chimed as you slid in a tray of blueberry muffins, closing the oven door. Levi asked if you wanted a cup of tea. You gladly said yes even though you already had a cup of coffee in the morning.

"What tea would you like, love?" Levi asked while opening the cabinet, looking through his huge stash of different tea.

"Hmm... I don't know, maybe something that would go well with the muffins?"

"You decide then," Levi took a tin of loose green tea leaves and another box of Earl Grey sachets, and placed them in front of you. "Green tea or Earl Grey?"

"Oh, how about green tea? It's been a while since I had any!" You watched as Levi skimmed through his tea collection before bringing out another metal tin to place in front of you. Then, Levi took out a large wooden tray, a glass teapot, a bowl-like cup with a cover, another glass cup, small teacups, and a wooden spoon. Levi then went to fill up the electric kettle with water and set it to boil. You looked at him confused.

"Aren't we just making tea? Isn't a teapot enough?" Levi smiled and ruffled your hair affectionately.

"This tin of tea leaves here are top quality Longjing tea from China, so it's only right that I prepare it the proper way."

"Erwin got this tea set for me when he went there for his business trip," Levi continued as he set up all the teacups neatly. "He said his Chinese business associates brought him to a tea house for a tea appreciation ceremony and he knew he had to get a set for me." As the water boiled, Levi looked at you.

"So, ready to learn how to brew Chinese green tea?"

You nodded excitedly, watching Levi bring the kettle over. First, Levi placed all the various cups on the wooden tray and you observed as Levi poured the boiling water over all the cups. "This is to warm the cups up," he commented as he drained out the water before adding a small spoon of loose tea leaves into the bowl-like cup with a lid, and poured water from the kettle into the glass teapot. Then, Levi added water from the teapot into the bowl-like cup at a really high height.

"Why do you have to pour it so high, though?" You piqued, watching the tea leaves swirl and the water overflowing.

"So that the leaves and the water mix well." Levi said as he used the lid of the cup to push away some of the leaves that were floating on the surface. Then, Levi covered the lid on the cup and poured the tea over the other cups again to warm them up.

"The first infusion is to soften the tea leaves and to release their flavour, so we don't drink it," Levi told you as you watched curiously. Levi then poured hot water into the large cup and covered its lid before refilling the glass teapot with more water. After about 30 seconds, Levi then poured all the tea from that large cup into the glass cup. You noticed that the tea in the glass cup was a beautiful light green. Using the glass cup, Levi poured them into the small teacups. Levi then told you to pick up the teacup.

"Smell it first," Levi told you as you brought the teacup close. You could pick up a hint of fragrance. "Then, take a small sip." You copied whatever Levi was doing, and your eyes lit up. The tea was light, mellow, and had a subtle sweetness.

"Wow, love, this tea tastes amazing," you watched Levi take another bigger mouth of tea and you followed suit. "This tastes better than the green tea we'd get at boba shops." Levi scoffed when he heard you.

"You brat, those boba teas aren't even real tea." Levi let out a slight laugh as he poured more hot water from the glass teapot into the bowl-like cup, letting it seep for another 30 seconds before pouring it into the glass cup and separating them into both your teacups again. Once the both of you finished your tea, Levi repeated this process once more before throwing the tea leaves away.

"Wait, no, don't waste them! We could've brew them a few more times..." you muttered sadly. Levi pinched your cheek as he opened the lid of Longjing tea leaves again.

"Green tea only tastes good for the first three brews, darling. Any more and it'll turn bitter. The next time if we're brewing something stronger like oolong, I'll show you again." You gave Levi a nod and a smile, watching him repeat the entire tea brewing process again with the new tea leaves. It was mesmerising watching Levi, and you felt like you could just watch him brew tea for you forever and ever.

Just then, the blueberry muffins had just finished baking too. You wore your mittens and took them out of the oven. You excitedly removed the muffins from the tray and plated them. Levi was about to scoop a new spoon of tea leaves into the cup when you stopped him.

"Let me try," you smiled and took the tin of tea leaves from him. "Let's see if you've been a good teacher." Levi gave you another smile as he softly kissed your cheek, leaning his arm against the table to watch and correct you whenever necessary. No doubt you were a little clumsy and fumbled at a few steps, but Levi patiently guided your hand and made sure you didn't accidentally injure yourself.

"Not bad for your first time, love," Levi smiled as he took a sip of the green tea that you brewed, tearing a small piece of muffin to feed you. You beamed and gave Levi a tight hug, pressing a kiss on his lips.

"Of course, I've learnt from the best after all."

Okay 龙井 (Longjing aka Dragon Well) is my favourite green tea of all time, other than the Japanese sencha. Also, what Levi did while preparing the tea is called 功夫茶 (Gongfu cha aka Kungfu tea) which is a Chinese tea ceremony for preparing tea. This is an example of how a Gongfu cha set looks like. The Japanese have something similar called 茶道 (sadō/chadō) for the preparation of matcha too!

And yes people, this is the correct and proper way of drinking green tea!!! Now that's you've learnt it from this drabble, please practise it at home and then you can impress Levi 😉 remember to use water that's about 80-85°C to brew your green tea!!!!

Scrolling past all the birthday messages on your phone, you replied all of them with the same perfunctory 'thanks! 🤗' and threw your phone aside.

You never understood the big deal about birthdays, you never found it significant anyway. It was just the day you were born and the day you age. You never celebrated it, and you never found a reason to do so.

You were tired of hearing people wish you happy birthday even though they don't mean it at all. it was all obligatory, and to you, unnecessary. You disliked how everyone treated you differently on this day just because it's your birthday.

Yet, Levi was different.

Levi knew and understood your reluctance about celebrating birthdays, and he never pressurised you into doing something against your wishes. Levi treated today just like any normal day, texting you asking how's your day. Levi asked if you could be home before nine and you said yes, although you didn't know the significance why.

As you reached home, you inserted your keys and unlocked the front door. Pushing it a little, you were surprised to see the lights in the living room off. You wondered what happened, Levi told you he was already home. Pushing the door wider, you were greeted by the sight of warm candles burning in the darkness, lighting a small path littered by rose petals. Your heart leaped to your throat. You didn't understand what was going on. Where is Levi? You quickly locked the door and followed the pathway, realising it led you to the bedroom.

Pushing the door open, the queen sized bed that you and Levi shared was instead decorated with more rose petals, some forming the words 'Happy Birthday' while others were loosely scattered across the clean white sheets. You could faintly smell the scent of your favourite candle burning, and the soft melody of Pachelbel's Canon in D played in the background. Your feet were rooted to the ground, unsure of how else to react.

"Hey, baby," Levi's voice chimed through the room door. Turning around, you saw him standing outside holding a small cake in his hand. A candle burned and the warm flame casted a soft glow over Levi's sculpted face.

"W-what's with all these, Levi?" You were bewildered. It was a pleasant surprise, but you were no doubt feeling a little overwhelmed. Levi gave you a soft smile as he came closer to you, setting the cake on the dressing table.

"I know how you feel about celebrating birthdays, but this year, I just... I wanted to do something special and memorable for you. You're special, and you deserve only the best." Giving you a gentle peck on your forehead, Levi brought the cake to you again.

"Come, make a wish." You blankly stared at the candle, watching the wax slowly drip down its length. You didn't know what to do. Levi seemed to sense your inner turmoil. He put down the cake again and got you to sit by the dressing table. Pushing the cake in front of you, Levi stood behind you and clasped your hands in his.

"We'll do it together, hmm?" Kissing your crown, Levi told you to close your eyes and think of the first thing that came to mind. You listened to him and closed your eyes, letting your mind wander. In a sea of darkness, Levi was all you could think of. His hand on yours, his breath hot against your cheek, his chin pressing on your shoulder. All you could feel was how much you loved this man, and your mind could only think of one thing:

I want Levi to be happy for a long time.

Your breath hitched, and Levi guessed you were done.

"On my count, we'll blow out the candle together, okay? One, two, three—" and as you blew out the candle, Levi surprised you with a kiss to your cheek instead. You blankly touched your cheek where Levi just kissed. "What did you wish for, princess?"

"... I-I'm not telling." You felt your heart skip a little under Levi's gaze, your cheeks flushing up so slightly from the surprise kiss. Levi left the bedroom and came back a few moments later with a spoon in his hand. Taking a seat on the bed, Levi turned your chair around and made you face him.

"Here," Levi scooped a spoonful of cake before offering it to you. You looked at him hesitantly before opening your mouth, taking a bite.

"Is it good?" You nodded in agreement, urging Levi to try it too. It was a chocolate banana cake topped with thick chocolate ganache. The layers of banana puree between each layer of chocolate sponge cake were tasty, the sweetness of the banana went extremely well with the slightly bitter chocolate.

"It's great, Levi. The flavour's amazing. Where did you get it?" Levi scooped a bit for himself, taking a bite and nodding along to your comment.

"I baked it." Your eyed widened in surprise again.

"Y-you baked it? But, I thou— wait, weren't you at work?"

"Yeah, I did. I worked from home. Still am at work, aren't I?" Levi gave you a grin and fed you your birthday cake again. Your heart soared at the thought. Levi always put in a lot of effort to make you feel loved. But today, you really did feel extra special. For the first time ever, you felt happy celebrating your birthday, and for once, you were thankful it didn't feel like any other day. Levi continued feeding you your birthday cake under the warm candlelight, and all that went through your mind was how lucky you were to have him in your life.

Soon, the plate emptied and Levi fished out a serviette, wiping the corner of your lips. You felt your lip quiver and a lump forming in your throat.

"Thank you, Levi, for doing this for me," you lunged forward and hugged him tight, smiling as you felt a tear slip from the corner of your eye. Levi soothingly rubbed your back and pressed a soft kiss to your cheek, and he wiped your tear away with a swipe of his thumb.

"Anything for you, the love of my life." Levi smiled as he held your hand, promising you another surprise after a nice, hot bath together. A fleeting smile appeared on your face, looking forward to soaking in the tub together with Levi, enjoying the remainder of your birthday night.

Also I know I'm boring but Canon in D is literally one of my favourite classical pieces and one of my absolute favourites to play on the piano so XD please enjoy it with me hehe. Also Pachelbel wrote Canon in D for a string quartet (three violins and one cello) but the version listened to and used in this drabble is this piano and cello duet by Brooklyn Duo. That's Levi and I in another universe okay me on the piano and him on the cello T^T

A/N: Eliza!! Thank you so much! Oh visiting a cat café with Levi is just too cute for words. I hope you like this!!! Also, I've never been to a cat café before so... some inaccuracies may be found haha.

Finally, I'm just using random names that popped into my head so enjoy!!

Parking the car, Levi and you exited hand in hand and walked towards a quaint little shophouse. A cute door sign in the shape of a cat's head hung on the door and you excitedly pushed it open, stepping into the cat café.

"Hi! How many of you are here today?" A young girl seemingly in her late teens approached you and Levi, handing the both of you the menu. She had a nametag in the shape of a cat pinned to her brown apron. You took a look and noticed her name was Phoebe.

"Just us. It's our first time here," you pulled Levi closer, looking through the menu together. The menu had quite a good variety of drinks and desserts. There was a fish bone next to some of the names and on the bottom was the words 'chef's recommended' printed next to the fish bone.

"Oh since it's your first time, I recommend that you try something under our chef's recommendations! If you're a fan of sweets, then go for the strawberry parfait, or the sparkling honey yuzu! If not, the soy matcha latte and our no-bake cheesecake go really well together too." Levi and you decided to go with what Phoebe introduced, and she took a small bottle of hand sanitiser, pumping a bit on both your hands.

"Before letting you two through the fence, we have a few house rules! Firstly, remember to always wash and sanitise your hands before and after petting the cats. Also, remember not to pull their tails, or disturb them if they're sleeping. Thirdly, please refrain from speaking loudly, and please do not switch on your flash light when taking photographs!" Both you and Levi nodded.

"Next, remember to never let the cats eat out of your plate. We have a few cheeky ones here who might try to beg you to feed them, but please do not give in! Most importantly, all of our cats here are rescue cats, and some might still be a little hostile to humans. So please be gentle and patient with them. Any questions?" Phoebe looked at the both of you who shook your heads.

Levi took out his card and paid $50 for the both of you and some snacks for feeding the cats. Once done, Phoebe lifted the ledge and opened the wooden fence, handing you a small information booklet about the different cats before letting you and Levi in.

There were comfy beanbags, low tables, scratching posts for the cats, and a large variety of toys. There were about seven cats prancing around the large area, some interacting with patrons, others having fun on their own. A mackerel ginger tabby looked at you and Levi from the corner near a bean bag before cautiously coming closer. The cat then circled around your ankle, rubbing against your shin.

"Oh, this one's called Caramel," you checked the guide, realising it's a male tabby. "And he likes me." You bent downwards, scratching Caramel's chin. Caramel gave a small purr in delight and you smiled at Levi.

"It says here that Caramel as a sister called Toffee..." You pointed at the guide and Levi looked around the café, trying to spot a tortoiseshell tabby. Levi tapped your arm after a while, pointing to a table across the room.

"Is that her?"

The both of you spotted a mischievous cat trying to nick food off a small table. Remembering what Phoebe said about not letting the cats eat human food, you briskly walked over to the small table and tried to shoo the feline away. She hissed and walked away.

Settling down at another table, another staff brought over your food. A few of the cats were sleeping by the corner. There was a grey tabby cat who kept walking around Levi's ankles, headbutting him.

"Tch, don't disturb me when I'm eating," Levi frowned at the cat while taking a sip of tea. The cat continued circling around Levi's foot, letting out a soft purr.

"Fine, here," Levi tore open the bag of cat treats and placed it in his palm, bending down to offer his palm to the grey tabby. You checked the guide for the cat's name and whispered 'his name is Rain' to Levi. Sensing there was a treat, Rain went over to Levi's palm before sniffing it, eating the treat and letting out another meow.

"He's cute," Levi chuckled as Rain yawned, sleeping next to Levi's foot after a while. Levi took another sip of tea before quietly pushing back the chair, sitting down on the ground while gently stroking Rain's fur. Not wanting to miss the opportunity, you quickly snapped a photo of Levi smiling.

As you finished your food, you took a rainbow-coloured cat charmer and tried to get the attention of some of the cats around you. Waving the colourful string, some cats crawled closer to you wanting to play. You recognised Caramel and Toffee, and Toffee started grabbing the end of the colourful string. Giggling, you waved it a little more vigorously, until Toffee caught the end with her paw on the ground.

Levi seemed to take a liking to Rain, and sat on the floor next to Rain while you took a squishy toy and played with another cat once Toffee was bored with the cat charmer. You fed some other cats some treats too and had a lot of fun cuddling them, taking many lovely photos of the cats, as well as of yourself and Levi. Before you knew it, the two-hour time limit was up and Levi and you had to leave.

"You like this place?" You asked Levi as you excited the café and walked to Levi's car. Levi thought of Rain and gave you a small smile.

"Yeah, it was nice," unlocking the car, Levi got in and started the ignition. Adjusting his rear mirror, Levi looked at you before driving out of the parking lot to your next destination.

"Thanks for suggesting this place, angel. It was a different kind of fun." You beamed, pleased that Levi enjoyed himself.

"Oh, there's more of such cat cafés, you know. We can spend each weekend slowly exploring them..."

The only cat breeds I know are probably British Shorthair, Russian Blue, Munchkins, Tabby cats and uh, that's about it. Majority of the cats are taken from Neko Atsume (or the kitty cat collection game XD). Also, I have zero cat knowledge so I am very sorry if these are inaccurate q_q

"Wake up, love."

You woke up feeling the jitters in your stomach. You just had a wonderful dream about Levi surprising you on your birthday with your favourite flowers and a lovely dinner. Hearing someone sounding like Levi, you rubbed your eyes groggily.

"Happy birthday."

Am I dreaming? You opened your eyes only to see Levi smiling down at you. You looked at the clock on the night stand.

"Levi, it's eight." You yawned, pushing yourself upright. Levi chuckled and pulled you up on your feet.

"It's eight in the morning and also your birthday." Levi urged you to wash up while he went to the kitchen. Once you freshened up, you went to the kitchen and saw breakfast already prepared. There were crispy hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausages, fluffy pancakes, yoghurt and muesli, and also a hot mug of coffee prepared just the way you liked. You stared at Levi with a look of surprise.

"You prepared all of these?" Levi gave you a smug look and took his seat.

"Everything? While I was washing up?"

"I'm a good multi-tasker, in case you forgot." Levi let out a small laugh as he placed two pancakes on your plate and drizzled some maple syrup.

"I booked a dinner reservation for us already, so you are free to do anything you want until dinner." Levi told you after taking a bite from his sausage. In your head, you started listing down some things that came to mind.

"Oh, can we go to the café? There's one doing a spring promotion with sakura-flavoured cakes!" You came across an advertisement for this particular café while browsing through your phone and the idea of eating sakura-flavoured cakes piqued your interest. Levi gave you a nod as you ate.

Once you both finished breakfast, you went to get changed. You asked him for a hint regarding dinner, but Levi only told you to dress comfortably and wear whatever you wanted. You settled for a pair of comfy jeggings, a long sleeved blouse, and you brought along a warm knitted cardigan for the cooler night. Levi wore a pair of black trousers, a simple white shirt, and a denim jacket. The both of you made your way to the café.

The exterior of the café was decorated with lots of hanging planters and flowers. A chalkboard stood outside the entrance, the menu written with an assortment of bright colours. A bell lightly chimed as Levi pushed open the door. The interior looked equally beautiful with one of its walls decorated with flowers from floor to ceiling. Each table had a little pot of flowers as well.

You took your seat while Levi went to order the food. He came back later with a slice of matcha cake topped with sakura flavoured jelly, a cup of floral tea, a slice of dark chocolate cake with edible sakura petals, and a cup of hot sencha. Levi pushed the matcha cake and floral tea towards you. Taking out a candle, Levi stuck it in the cake and lit it up with a lighter borrowed from the café staff. You closed your eyes and made a wish before blowing out the candle. Levi managed to snap a timely photo of you blowing out the candle too.

The cakes and tea were tasty and the flavours were unique, the ambience of the café was very welcoming and comforting as well. As the both of you finished your desserts, Levi took your hand and drove you to the mall. The both of you spent the afternoon watching a movie, getting some shopping done, and even played some games in the arcade. You could tell that Levi was letting you win some of the games on purpose, but you appreciated it all the same. Before you knew it, it was dinner time.

"So, what's for dinner? You've been so secretive," you tried asking Levi again while walking to the lift. Levi pressed the button for the 5th floor and shrugged.

"You'll find out soon."

As the lift door opened, Levi had an arm on your lower back as you made your way. Soon enough, you reached your destination.

"A buffet?" Your eyes widened, surprised but not disappointed by Levi's choice of dinner. It had been a while since you two went for a buffet, and honestly, you were getting a little bored of the same few diners too. Levi nodded after hearing you.

"Mhmm. Thought it would be a nice change. Besides, we can eat whatever we want." Levi smirked and walked to the front desk, stating his name. The staff then ushered the both of you to your table.

Levi booked a table at an international buffet and there were a wide selection of food; Western, Mediterranean, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Indian, and there was a BBQ section as well. This restaurant was well-known for its seafood selection and desserts, and they definitely did not disappoint. There was a huge selection of seafood ranging from shellfish to sashimi, and you could really taste the freshness and quality of the meat in every bite. There was a large chocolate fondue tower at the desserts section where people, young and old, excitedly queued and waited for their turn.

Levi took a little bit of everything while you dived straight for your favourite cuisine. He saw you taking plate after plate of food with a wide smile on your face.

"You were right to tell me to wear something comfy, love," you giggled while taking your third serving of mango salad from the Thai section. "I can't imagine eating all these good food in a skin-tight dress."

Levi was halfway through his chicken tikka and garlic naan when he looked at you. As you were done with your mango salad, you walked towards the seafood section and took a few prawns, some soft shell crabs, mussels, and fresh oysters. With a triumphant grin, you walked back to the table with another plate of fresh sashimi as well.

"It was a fantastic idea to bring me here, Levi. Thank you," you beamed, happily squeezing lemon over the oyster and finishing it in a mouthful. "The food's amazing and I love it!" Levi smiled as he finished his food, taking a sip of hot tea.

"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself," Levi walked off towards somewhere and didn't come back until 20 minutes later. He had a plate full of fruits and a bowl full of hot melted chocolate. Your eyes sparkled in delight as you continued feasting, enjoying your unique birthday dinner and date with Levi.

Honestly I think a dinner at the restaurant is too cliché, and Korean BBQ would make your clothes smell like meat and oil haha. I would have chosen a hotpot dinner too but I guess it's too hard for majority to relate to xD

I took the inspiration for sakura-flavoured desserts from Starbucks Japan's spring menu xD of course I didn't follow it exactly but urgh, I don't really like pink but pink-coloured food is so pretty!!

I hope you're okay with the idea of a buffet too! I don't know how common are buffets in the Western countries so I just went ahead with what I was familiar with >\\< I really hope you like it!!

"Hey, Levi," you tapped your boyfriend's arm. "Where do you want to go this weekend?" The both of you spend the past few weekends exploring new cafés, visiting farmers markets, fishing, and even going on a picnic.

"Hmm." Levi pondered, scrolling through his phone. "The beach? The weather seems pretty good." Your ears perked up at the idea. It had been a long time since you went to the beach. You grew up by the beach your whole life, but ever since moving to the city with Levi, you haven't had the time to visit the beach anymore. The hustle and bustle of the city was dynamic and ever-changing, yet you missed hearing the constant crash of waves against the shores and the serenity of the sea too.

"I'd love that."

As the weekend arrived, Levi and you excitedly packed your bags for a trip to the beach. You dug out a swimsuit that was buried under your old clothes and were thrilled that you could still fit it perfectly. You managed to find a picnic mat and put it inside a large handbag along with some bottles of water, towels, and an extra set of clothes. Levi prepared a picnic basket full of sandwiches, fruits, iced tea, and a few packs of your favourite potato chips. Going to the cabinet, Levi took out two mugs and kept them in the picnic basket as well.

Putting on a muscle tee and denim shorts over your swimsuit, you grabbed your sunglasses and waited for Levi by the dining table while he went to change. Moment later, Levi came out dressed in a simple white shirt, swim shorts, and a pair of black sunglasses. He even managed to find a beach volleyball which you didn't even know existed.

"Did you pack the sunblock?" Levi asked while taking the picnic basket from the kitchen counter.

"What sunblock?"

"You're going to get skin cancer if you don't put on sunblock, brat." Levi pushed his sunglasses up his crown and frowned, going back to the room.

"Levi, I grew up by the beach without sunblock and my skin is perfectly fine," you shouted as Levi returned with a bottle in his hand and threw it inside your handbag.

"I don't care. UV rays are harmful." Taking out a small tube of sunscreen from his pocket, Levi squeezed some product on his fingers before applying the sunscreen evenly on your face. Once he was satisfied, the both of you finally made your way over to the beach.

It was a weekend and the beach was bustling with people. Families were out with their children, friends were gathering and having fun. Taking a deep breath, the familiar scent of salt and sand hit your olfactory glands and a smile broke out across your face. Levi found an empty shady spot under a tree and quickly dragged you there. Taking out the picnic mat, you lay it across the ground and used your handbag and sandals as weights. You removed your outer layers, excited to go into the water.

"Oi, wait!" Levi shouted the moment your feet touched the sand. Frowning, Levi pulled you back and took the sunblock out of your bag.

"What did I say about skin cancer?" Levi squeezed a generous amount of sunblock on his hands and rubbed it across your exposed skin, leaving no area uncovered. Once done, Levi removed his shirt and passed you the sunblock, making you apply it for him. Once done, Levi finally took your hand and you both ran into the sea.

"Ahhh, I missed this!!!" You exclaimed loudly, wiggling your toes on the sand and splashing water on your body. The warmth of the sun and the coolness of the sea were coming together in a perfect harmony. Coming out of the water, Levi combed his hair backwards and gave you a smile. A while later, Levi turned to look at where your bag was at, making sure it was still there.

"Hey, Levi," you called out. As Levi turned, you splashed water towards him and quickly swam away with a laugh.

"Oh, you wanna play?" Levi grinned and chased after you. He was a better swimmer and caught up to you in no time. Blocking your path, you tried to avoid him but Levi held your arm. Hugging you from the back, you let out a shriek as Levi carried you and threw you into the water with another loud splash.

"LEVI!!!!"

"Upset? Race you to our mat then." Levi smirked and swam towards the shore. You sped up, not wanting to lose. In the end, Levi reached the mat first and opened a bottle of water.

"You're mean," you pouted, accepting the water bottle from Levi. Levi chuckled and took out a towel, drying your body up before you sat on the mat. Doing the same for himself, Levi took out the food from the picnic basket and arranged it nicely.

"Come on, let's have some food. I'll teach you how to play beach volleyball later." You nodded, giving Levi a wide smile as you took a slice of sandwich. It had been a long time since you came back to the beach, and you were glad to be here with Levi.

"Thanks for bringing me here, Levi! It's really been a while." You took a mouthful of the refreshing iced tea, letting out a soft 'ahhh~' when the cold hit you. Levi gave you a smile as he stroked your wet hair.

"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, Tay."

It's 01 March and the event has officially begun!! And yes, I did reach 600 followers (thank you!!!) so I've renamed this event from 500 followers to 600 followers haha.

Remember to take note of these few things before sending in your requests:

Rei's 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Open until 31 March)

Today was the day of your fifth wedding anniversary and you couldn't be happier. You were excited to spend the day with him, and you couldn't wait to give him his present. Your lovely husband had the entire day's activity planned out; from breakfast in bed to a lovely afternoon at the farmers' market.

"Remember to doll up for dinner," your husband reminded you when he drove back home, unpacking all the things the both of you bought from the market. Erwin told you he was bringing you out for dinner, and he reminded you countless times to dress up and look pretty for the occasion. You've likewise questioned him countless times about the dinner, but your husband refused to say anything.

"How can I dress up for the event when I don't even know what the event is?" You grumbled as you grabbed your towel and went to the bathroom. Erwin chuckled while picking his outfit. Once he found what he wanted, Erwin lay his outfit on the mattress.

"Well, if you really want a hint, look at today's date!" Erwin replied while you gave a muffled response from the shower. Erwin knew you would take a while, and he took the opportunity to sneak into his study and wrapped up something that was hidden in a chest of drawers. Once he heard you come out, Erwin went to use the washroom as you started to blow dry your hair.

"Look at today's date!" You recalled Erwin say. Today's date was your anniversary date. Anniversary.... hmm... oh? You suddenly had an idea. You saw the outfit Erwin lay on the mattress and it confirmed your answer. You rummaged through your wardrobe and found the perfect dress. Slipping it on, you started applying your makeup and styled your hair.

At 7 pm sharp, Erwin and you walked hand in hand into the restaurant, your memory as clear as yesterday as the waiter ushered you both to your seats. The table was next to the floor-to-ceiling windows and had a breathtaking view of the city, just like how you remembered. Erwin told you to look through the menu as he excused himself to the washroom.

While you already decided on what to order, you realised your husband was taking an awfully long time. Just as you looked through your clutch bag to take out your phone, you heard someone calling your name softly from behind.

"Flowers for you, Mrs Smith?" Erwin appeared with a bouquet of no less than 99 roses in his hand. You covered your mouth in shock and felt tears pooling in your eyes. Erwin's humongous rose bouquet was drawing the attention of a few diners, and they turned to your direction excitedly, thinking there might be a proposal taking place.

"On this very special day five years back, I got down on my knee with a ring in my hand, promising you a lifetime of happiness. Five years down the road, I hope I've kept my promise, and your days have been filled with nothing but happiness." Erwin handed over the bouquet to you and you accepted it with shaky hands. Erwin then signalled to one of the staff of the restaurant, and the staff brought over a brown coloured package.

"Five years ago, we were here in this same restaurant, sitting at this very table, wearing the exact same outfit that we are wearing today. But unlike five years ago, you are now here as my wife, and the person I've chosen to spend my lifetime with." Erwin told you to put the bouquet down, and he handed you the bulky package. Erwin also told you to unwrap it. "Happy anniversary, Mia."

Slowly pulling off the brown paper, your tears started to fall uncontrollably as you saw what Erwin gave you. It was a gorgeous wooden photo frame with 'Erwin & Mia Smith' engraved at the top. On the bottom was the date where Erwin proposed to you five years ago. In the frame was a photo of you and Erwin from back then, taken after Erwin proposed with a shiny ring sitting snugly on your ring finger.

"Babe, this is amazing, I love this," your fingers traced the outline of your names on the frame. "How did you think of this gift?"

"U-uh, Levi told me that a five-year wedding anniversary is a wood wedding..." Erwin scratched his neck embarrassingly. "He got the exact same gift for his own wedding anniversary, and I thought you would like—" You stood up and hugged your husband, hoping he understood all your unsaid words and feelings. Swaying on the spot, Erwin slowly rubbed your back. Releasing you from the hug, Erwin leaned down to press a soft kiss on your lips, hugging you close to him. Erwin slowly released you, wiping your tears with his thumb.

"Thank you, sweetheart. I love this very much, it's beautiful," you hugged your husband again, interlocking your arms around his waist. Erwin patted your cheek and kissed your forehead. "I'm glad you like it."

"Since you've given me such a precious gift, it is my turn," you put down the photo frame, taking a few breaths to calm yourself. Erwin looked at you with a puzzled look. You didn't bring along anything with you, and you certainly didn't ask the staff here for help since you didn't know he was bringing you here until a few hours ago. You gazed at Erwin, feeling incredibly nervous out of a sudden. You took a deep breath and looked into Erwin's eyes.

"You're going to be a father."

Rei’s 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend (Open until 31 March)

It was movie night with your boyfriend, and your favourite day of the week. Once a week, the both of you would take turns choosing a movie to watch, whether it be a movie you've watched before, or a new one. This week, it was your turn to pick a movie.

While you were looking through the list of movies, your boyfriend was occupied with making the popcorn fresh from scratch.

"Jean, honey, do you need help?" You called from the living room.

"It's okay, sweetie, choose your movie and the popcorn will be done in a while!"

In the end, you decided to go with Tangled. It's been a while since you watched something from Disney, and Tangled was one of your absolute favourites as well.

Jean did come back once you started to let the movie buffer and load. He had a bowl full of popcorn as well as some hot cheetos. You went to the kitchen and poured two large mugs of cold lemonade and brought them to the living room.

"C'mon, princess, you ready?" Jean pulled you to him once you took your seat on the couch, making yourself comfortable by wrapping a thick comforter around the both of you. You snuggled closer to Jean, feeling the warmth of his body. You played the movie excitedly, taking a few pieces of popcorn.

As the movie played, your eyes were glued to the screen and you naturally sang along to the songs. Jean watched you with a bemused look.

"You remind me a lot of Rapunzel, you know," Jean commented when the adult Rapunzel made her first appearance by the window of the tower she lived in. You shot him a quizzical look, munching on more popcorn.

"Well, you both have long hair and beautiful bright green eyes," Jean gave you a warm smile, and you felt your insides flutter. "And you both are a little ditzy."

"Hey! That's mean." You playfully poked your boyfriend's ribs.

Continuing with the movie, it was the scene where Flynn Rider climbed up the tower and got knocked out by Rapunzel's frying pan. You tried to hold back a laughter, but you couldn't.

"Why are you laughing, princess?" You clutched your waist and continued giggling.

"If I'm like Rapunzel, then you are like Flynn Rider."

"And why is that?"

"Because Flynn stole something of Rapunzel's, and you stole something of mine." You looked at Jean again, feeling a little bashful.

"And... what did I steal, princess?" Jean inched his face closer. You looked at Jean's nose and uttered in a barely audible whisper.

"M... my h-heart," stuffing popcorn into your mouth, Jean started at you for a few seconds before a boyish grin broke out on his face. Pinching your nose affectionately, Jean muttered 'so cute' under his breath and continued watching the movie.

At last, the movie finally reached your favourite part. Your absolute favourite scene of the entire movie was when Flynn Rider, or now known as Eugene Fitzherbert, brought Rapunzel to see the lanterns. The warm glow of the lanterns, the sparkle in Rapunzel's eyes, and Eugene's longing gaze on Rapunzel always made you feel fuzzy and warm inside.

You could feel the corner of your eyes becoming a little moist as Rapunzel started singing, Eugene soon harmonising along. What you didn't realise was when you were watching Eugene gaze at Rapunzel with a look of adoration plastered on his face, Jean was looking at you swooning over the pair with the same lovesick look. You could feel a pair of eyes on you and you turned to face Jean who was smiling at you.

"I know how you're different from Rapunzel." Jean reached out his hand towards you. You could feel goosebumps appear all over your body when Jean's finger accidentally grazed past your ear and tugged a strand of your hair behind.

"You're real, and a million times more beautiful." The more Jean looked at you, the more embarrassed you felt. You didn't know where to put your eyes. As Rapunzel and Eugene were about to kiss in the movie, you could feel Jean inching his face closer to you too. Jean's breath was hot against your lips. You could hear the echoes of your own heartbeat and the quivering in your breath as Jean's larger and warmer hand cupped your cheek.

"I love you, princess," was the last thing your mind could register before Jean kissed you so gently as though using any more strength would break you. You could feel Jean's lips curving into a smile. A low rumbling echoed in your chest as you kissed him back, your lips likewise forming a smile to mirror Jean's. Seconds later, Jean broke the kiss.

"Love you too, Jean." You smiled back at him as he chuckled, feeding you some popcorn and turning back to the TV. The both of you then realised that you've missed quite a fair bit of the movie.

"Should we rewind back to the part we missed?" Jean asked while eating some popcorn.

"Hmmm... it's fine, we can always watch it again next time." You shrugged, eating some hot cheetos.

The movie continued on with Rapunzel finally realising that she was the lost princess of Corona, Eugene climbing up the tower and getting himself stabbed, Rapunzel's tear and power from the sun saving him, and Rapunzel's teary reunion with her parents. As the movie ended, your eyes were brimming with happy tears and Jean pulled you in for a bone-crushing hug.

"You okay, sweetie?" Jean stroked your back as you sniffed, nodding your head to let him know you're okay.

"Yeah, I'm fine." You chuckled as Jean released you from the hug and kissed the crown of your head. There was still a lot of popcorn and hot cheetos left.

"Up for a second movie?" You nodded, passing Jean the remote control with a smile.

"Mh-hmm! You can do the honours and choose a movie you want."

I may be biased because the scene of Rapunzel and Eugene singing 'I See the Light' is MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE, so if it isn't your favourite, I am very sorry q_q

Also, guess who rewatched Tangled just to write this and guess who cried watching it BUT GUESS WHO HAS NO REGRETS DOING IT.

Rei's Springtime Event

Good day everyone, and I'm here to bring you my next month-long event: Rei's Springtime Event!

Starting from 01 March until 31 March, I will be holding two separate events as part of my Springtime Event!

Part 1 - Rei's 600 Follower Event: Date-A-Boyfriend

I've hit a new milestone a while back and now that I am (almost) at another new milestone, this shall be a milestone event for the past, present, and future!

Event details:

1. Choose a 'tea' and a 'dessert' and send them to my ask box! I will write you a short drabble, with the length not exceeding 1k words.

2. If you're choosing Lavender or Jam cookie, please indicate which character and what date you would like to go.

3. The event will be open from 01 March until 31 March.

4. View the event post here!

Things to note:

1. This date event is SFW only! I can make it suggestive at your request, but there will be no NSFW.

2. You can send me multiple requests! But please send them separately through my ask box only.

Part 2 - Rei's Birthday Event

Event details:

1. As posted in early January, I've opened up 12 request slots for themes revolving around spring in celebration of my birthday and my blog's one year on tumblr!

2. All 12 requests will be posted throughout the entire March with the exception of 02 March, 03 March, 07 March, and 14 March where there will be special posts to be made.

3. There will be a mix of sfw and not sfw works, so please head the individual warnings that will be mentioned on each post!
