Azriel is the first born son of Rebekah Mikaelson and Marcel Gerard. He has a deep respect for Vincent being his biological father, but doesn’t see him as so.

Azriel took on the big brother role effortlessly and loves his sisters to absolute death, he would do anything for them.

He was fourteen when his parents went to sleep, and because of so, he took on the role of watching over his sisters. 

Along with the rest of the older witches, they all tried to figure out a way to bring their parents out of their sleep and get out of Mystic Falls but nothing worked. 

While he never moved on from trying to wake up his parents, he did focus more on living his life and helping out where he could. 

Growing up, he was never too serious of a person. He liked to have fun and mess around. When his parents went to sleep that changed a little, but he did pretty well at managing both.

When Azriel was thirty, he got together with someone. (Most likely someone that’s not related to any of the families at all). They had a casual thing at first, but over time it grew serious. When he was 32, Grace Bekah Gerard, their daughter, was born. 

The last two years have been a whirlwind of being a father all the while trying to make sure things with his SO were okay. After the birth of their daughter, she was detached and only paid Grace mind when she needed fed.

When things exploded around them with Ken killing their parents, he took Grace and his SO with him and followed everyone to Zen where they were sent back in time.

As soon as they got to 2012, the mother of his child decided now that she was free to go wherever, she could. So she left Azriel and Grace, leaving Azriel a single father.

Okay watching the trailer to Honor Among Thieves again and what i think I am getting:

There are wizards of Thay involved?

Various dragons, some shown using their appropriate breath weapon (Like the black dragon in the beginning seems to be spitting black acid which is metal as fuck honestly?)

Michelle Rodriguez' character looks like she's a Barbarian which I 100% love. Like yes girl, go RAGE!!

Regè-Jean Page's character looks hot but I didn't expect anything else. I would say, judging by his armour, demeanour, weapon and fighting style, he might be a Paladin rather than a Fighter? Maybe half-elf?

The druid girl with the horns, I am sorry but she was CLEARLY inspired by Keyleth. Red haired druid will automatically give that association, but I thinnk she is supposed to be a tiefling?? Maybe she's not a druid maybe she is a wizard and she polymorphed, which would help place the level these characters would be. Can druids turn into Owlbears? Moon Druids maybe? Sorry she's a little over the place, but I'm guessing we'll learn more on her in the future and in the film. Also a little sad we get a tiefling and she has a boring skin colour. Sorry but no D&D player I ever met had a 'regular coloured' tiefling.

Chris Pine being a bard makes sense. Said bard stating it is not relevant that he plays the lute breaks my immersion because no bard I have ever met in game would have ever shut up about playing the lute, and in fact would have probably been playing the lute at that exat moment.

I wonder what the great evil is that was unleashed. So the trailer definitely made me curious.

In conclusion, I am feeling more confident about this than after my first watch now I had a bit more detail. I feel like there are a LOT of things in this trailer and I will watch some breakdowns, cause sure people pick up things I can't/didn't. Still not sure if they're properly incorporating the rules of the game instead of just having it SET in a world established in D&D lore, but I will give it the benefit of the doubt, because it looks fun as hell.

Also I will go see it even if it's bad because Regè-Jean Page could be in something and just stare in a brooding kind of way and I would still go see it multiple times because my GOD this man!

No, Kate is perfect.Or if you dare to say something slightest bad about Edwina, you’re a hater. It’s very tiresome. I dont know if you talked about that, but what are yours expectations for season 3? No just Kathony, but the season in general. You think the producers will be sensitive about the criticism, like the subplots, for example?

Usually when I enjoy a show it's because the characters are flawed and do make mistakes. I don't want to watch perfect characters on screen, that's boring. I want to watch interesting and complex characters who fucks up and then learn and grow. Because that's life you know. Humans are imperfect and we never stop to learn a lesson or two, no matter how old we are.

About Edwina: I LOVE her, I think she was nice and sweet but that doesn't mean she didn't have layers too. That she wasn't a spoiled brat at times and she didn't treat her sister poorly. It's OKAY to understand the flaws in a character, because guess what, if the storyline is well done, that character is going to grow and learn, and that's what happend to Edwina, and to Anthony and Kate as well.

About s3: I think the producers listen to some criticims, but also they will continue to do their own thing. Look I know s1 had less subplots and all of that, but s1 was an experiment. They didn't know if the show would have worked, they didn't even know if they would have been renewed when they were writing it. So they milked the love story the best they could, with the hopes they were going to get renewed. And they did, the show becoming a huge success, expecially Regè-Jean Page. They tried to keep him in the show, but from what I understood they couldn't because he wanted more screen time, some juicy's storyline, and not just a cameo here and there like Daphne did in s2. And that's when they got it: doing a storyline per season, milking a couple per season, was going to be counterproductive in the long run. Shows work differently than books. In the show you have actors who wants to have something juicy to do and not just appearing for the sake of appearing. Because actors can become famous and have other projects they want to do, if you don't give them something. That's why in s2 (knowing full well they had until s4 this time), they did things differently. More subplots, and the main couple not fully explored like s1. Because they had time to do that in future seasons.

So I think they will continue down this road: every Bridgerton's sibling will have his or her time to shine, BUT we will also continue to have a bunch of huge subplots (and Kathony definitely being one of them in s3 and possibly even s4). And Simone and Jonny are giving us hints in their interviews about s3 already: the season will probably revolve around Penelope and Colin, but with also Kate/Anthony being a married couple, Kate taking her role as a Viscountess and them having little Edmund. And I do believe they are giving these hints because they have already talked to the writing team about their roles in future seasons.
