if possible i would like a bit more info about the settings, they look super cool already based on their inspirations but i would like to know if there’s other certain buildings/architecture/etc you’re planning to include in these locations as well :)

Heya! Glad you're interested in Storyshift! (NGL I was a bit worried at first that Redswap was a bit too similar to my own AU, but I understand it was a coincidence hehe).

As for places in SequenceShift, my personal favorite is Lakeside Village. This homely little place combines elements from Snowdin and the Honeydew Resort, as well as taking inspiration from traditional Japanese villages. I covered it briefly in the overview, but it's a town renowned for its baked goods and abundance in flowers and plays a very important role in food production for the Underground. Annually, they host the Festival of the Harvest, which in the past used to be hosted by Empress Ceroba herself. However, she sadly hasn't attended since Kanako's passing.

Next up is the Frostpeak Settlement. Since I'm a Colorado boy, I based it a bit off of how some of the smaller towns around here look in the winter. This is more or less the actual Snowdin of SequenceShift. Plot wise it acts as a mining town/trading post (the mines connect the Dunes to Frostpeak in this AU) responsible for supplying the resources needed to maintain the Steamworks and other towns across the Underground. Don't have much set up for it yet, but this is also where Martlet's house is located in the AU.

Lastly, I don't have a picture of it, but AXS Studios is one of the first locations Clover will come across after the Steamworks. The Imperial City (what I renamed New Kingdom to) combines traditional Edo-style architecture with a modern metropolis (mixing elements from both East Asian and North American cities), and while Ketsukane Palace focuses on the former, AXS studios shows the more modern side of the Underground. Due to Axis's status as a lower-end celebrity, don't expect his studio to be fashionable or anything. To give a taste of that Southern/Western feel, it's actually a small outlet located in a strip mall. Definitely nowhere near as glamorous as Mettaton. That's all I have so far, but I love taking every opportunity I can to flesh out SequenceShift. decided to use a dollmaker to make a collection of weirdos

aka you never see me making fun of the plethora of AU sans-es for a multitude of reasons, but my five billion frisks are one of them

dustless/post-pacifist:

basic Good Kid who never did a murder, but died a whole lot. generally lives with toriel. stubborn as hell and wants to make friends (and datemates). maybe had  darker brown eyes instead of gold before they made their first SAVE?

trainer/pokémon au:

trainer from an AU where pokémon, unknowingly to most modern humans, are descendants of monsters that weren’t sealed below Mt. Ebott. they like to travel but aren’t all that motivated to become Champion. kills Toriel and captures Papyrus, at the very least. may or may not learn how to reset.

extreme danger bab:

a frisk who made a dusty trail through the Underground to escape. they didn’t kill absolutely everyone, though, and a few years down the line was struck with remorse when they got the postgame phone call. monsters really were nicer than humans, and so they’d solve the monsters’ problems by killing for seven human SOULS on their own.

redswap:

where they fell first instead of last. a member of the dreemurr fam who killed themselves very obviously, and one who never returned from the surface once Asriel took their SOUL. attaches themselves to chara and guides them to and through the underground.

fae:

crack ‘verse where there aren’t rly monsters probably and they find a human chara on the surface in a hellish home, and decides the best option is to steal them away. it’ll at least be entertaining for a bit, right?

a monarch fell:

underfell au thing where frisk killed (only) asgore and so unexpectedly won the crown. they work to restore the underground’s hope and rule better than the king, who had fallen to petty cruelty for more generations of monsters then can be remembered. friendly but no-nonsense.

welcome to the redswap au, babeyyyyy!

basically: redswap is an AU i’ve been developing for about a month and a half. the premise is that i swap many of the undertale roles with characters from undertale yellow, but there’s some interesting details + differences in setting and storyline that come from these swaps

these are my refs for kanako blossom and frisk! frisk doesn’t swap in this au for. reasons. plus i’m already intending on having another human swap so ;)

🎀 - she swaps with toriel in this au 🎀 - fills the role of the “overseer” of redswap’s equivalent of the ruins, known as the pleiades (more populated / less abandoned compared to the ruins! they experienced a revival of sorts recently) 🎀 - pretty much regular ceroba in terms of her personality, minus the devotion to completing her husband’s legacy part. in rswap, she’s probably the most important character in the underground that actively opposes his ideology. 🎀 - not completely shut off from the rest of the underground; she still interacts with those outside from time to time (in particular, a certain monster that comes to her door every once in a while). however, it’s still very rare to see her outside of the pleiades. 🎀 - her clothing is specifically tailored to her preferences (simplicity and versatility)! and since i HC that she has greek-inspired origins (but married into the ketsukane family), i decided to go for an ancient-greek vibe with her clothing

🪽 - she also swaps with the snowdin duo—however, rather than an individual swap i decided to mix up the personalities a bit. in pacifist specifically, however, she takes on a similar role to sans. 🪽 - she loves puzzles, as always! most of the puzzles that frisk sees were built by her. she monitors most of them, but there may be a couple that have gone… well, awry. 🪽 - she has horrible fashion sense. 🪽 - treats moray like a sibling. she can sometimes be annoyed by their shenanigans, but anything is better than being alone. 🪽 - still looking for the remains of someone she dearly misses.
