asher’s playlist 💋 (a glimpse)

☆ standing next to you - jungkook (he loves the bass and the groovy ass beat; loves to dance in front of Baaabe while they do chores around the house while making stupid faces at them. definitely screams the lyrics at the top if his lungs)

☆ i was made for lovin’ you - kiss (loves the bass and guitar. bobs his head along while he listens. wants to learn the song on guitar—always references the lyrics to Baaabe, much to their chagrin.)

☆ chop suey! - system of a down (he likes the chaotic vibe of the instrumental and vocals. he thinks the lyrics are silly. his fave parts are the harmonies!)

☆ lonely day - system of a down (he’s a sucker for a good melody, harmony, and instrumental. likes to listen to it when he’s trying to relax. he references the lyrics dramatically to his partner, but he truly enjoys the deeper meaning of them.)

☆ something in the way - nirvana (he has this on his playlist ironically ever since the newest batman came out. he randomly walks into their bedroom and plays it on his phone, standing in a brooding manner until Baaabe scolds him LMFAO.)

☆ o green world - gorillaz (“it scratches my brain in the right places” …he cannot sit still when this song is on, but then again, he isn’t able to with any music)

☆ dare - gorillaz (refer to the description above. he bounces on his legs and shakes his hips to the beat, regardless of whether Baaabe is watching or not. he is a SUCKER for a cool vibe)

☆ animals - nickelback (he particularly enjoys the suggestive lyrics and often bursts into song regularly with this one. makes him jump up and down uncontrollably in true stimming fashion.)

☆ crying lightning - arctic monkeys (bass line. groovy beat. cool lyric cadence. loves playing it while driving. definitely shakes his head aggressively to the guitar.)

☆ smooth operator - sade (HE LOVES THE BASS AND SAXOPHONE. it’s his favorite song to dance with Baaabe to. he hums the melody in their ear and enjoys holding them from behind while they sway :3. loves when he hears them singing along.)

☆ the summoning - sleep token (he doesn’t like the beginning as much as he likes the end, but he LOVES the chorus. he hates how long the transition is between the two styles of song LOL)

Your faves would not be alive if it wasn't for Milo Greer. And I stand by that, because if Asher stayed in the ward any longer I promise you he'd be on t-shirt. That also goes for Damien, David, Lovely and most likely Huxley. 💀 (Probably Sam and Vincent too cuz I know they wouldn't last too long)

✩ Vincent has dragged Sam clothes shopping with him in several unsuccessful attempts to get him to wear something fun to the summit

✩ Lovely joked about blood bags being CapriSuns for vampires soon after they turned and Vincent had to go to a different room to recover

✩ Fred and his progeny view Vincent and Lovely as their cool aunt/uncles

✩ Vincent and Lovely have at least three sets of those goofy matching T-shirts - e.g. “I’m insane” “I love crazy bitches”

✩ Vincent has bangs that cover his eyes if he doesn’t style them - sometimes Lovely puts them up with a hair tie and calls him a unicorn

✩ Vincent and Lovely have matching necklaces they wear every day

✩ When Vincent was still trying to be all cool and flirty to convince people to let him feed, he’d practice smirking and making “seductive faces”

✩ After turning, Lovely still tried using their electric powers for like a month, just desperately hoping they’d still work somehow

✩ After the Adam incident, Vincent would periodically get up during the night to look around the house and check the wards along with all the doors and windows to make sure no one could possibly hurt Lovely again

✩ They unironically enjoy holding pinkies because they think it’s cute

Spotify Wrapped Drawing Challenge!

Okie dokie! Since Spotify Wrapped is officially out and my tweaked playlist is done, send me a number 1-100, and i'll try to do a doodle or two with what+who i associate with the requested song number!

I ended up adding/tweaking a bunch of stuff to/on my top 100, so the overall list is more curated to stuff i've been listening to a lot recently on dbhc playlists and whatnot >:]
