☆ standing next to you - jungkook (he loves the bass and the groovy ass beat; loves to dance in front of Baaabe while they do chores around the house while making stupid faces at them. definitely screams the lyrics at the top if his lungs)

☆ i was made for lovin’ you - kiss (loves the bass and guitar. bobs his head along while he listens. wants to learn the song on guitar—always references the lyrics to Baaabe, much to their chagrin.)

☆ chop suey! - system of a down (he likes the chaotic vibe of the instrumental and vocals. he thinks the lyrics are silly. his fave parts are the harmonies!)

☆ lonely day - system of a down (he’s a sucker for a good melody, harmony, and instrumental. likes to listen to it when he’s trying to relax. he references the lyrics dramatically to his partner, but he truly enjoys the deeper meaning of them.)

☆ something in the way - nirvana (he has this on his playlist ironically ever since the newest batman came out. he randomly walks into their bedroom and plays it on his phone, standing in a brooding manner until Baaabe scolds him LMFAO.)

☆ o green world - gorillaz (“it scratches my brain in the right places” …he cannot sit still when this song is on, but then again, he isn’t able to with any music)

☆ dare - gorillaz (refer to the description above. he bounces on his legs and shakes his hips to the beat, regardless of whether Baaabe is watching or not. he is a SUCKER for a cool vibe)

☆ animals - nickelback (he particularly enjoys the suggestive lyrics and often bursts into song regularly with this one. makes him jump up and down uncontrollably in true stimming fashion.)

☆ crying lightning - arctic monkeys (bass line. groovy beat. cool lyric cadence. loves playing it while driving. definitely shakes his head aggressively to the guitar.)

☆ smooth operator - sade (HE LOVES THE BASS AND SAXOPHONE. it’s his favorite song to dance with Baaabe to. he hums the melody in their ear and enjoys holding them from behind while they sway :3. loves when he hears them singing along.)

☆ the summoning - sleep token (he doesn’t like the beginning as much as he likes the end, but he LOVES the chorus. he hates how long the transition is between the two styles of song LOL)

Atlas – Typing away while bouncing his knee to the beat and singing along absent-mindedly.

Asher – Smiling to himself while he’s playing because he thinks Atlas’ voice is sweet and soothing.

Atlas: [singing] … no movement, no lyrics, just nothing. The sign that leads the way, the path we cannot take. Asher: [joins singing] You’ve caught me at a bad time. So, why don’t you piss off. [A quiet laugh together]

Asher: I have a question. Atlas: What’s up? Asher: The whole “I don’t date people I work with” thing, is that for real? Or were you just letting me down gently? Atlas: [stops typing] No, I meant it.

Asher: Why? What’s the big deal? Atlas: [walks over to sit next to Asher] It’s messy. Like, if we get in a fight or break up or something, and still have to work together every day, it’s just – Asher: Messy? Atlas: Yeah Asher: Okay, so, if we didn’t work together? Atlas: Then, it’d be different.

Asher: Different how? Atlas: What are you doing? Asher: Let’s pretend for, say, five minutes, that we don’t work together. Atlas: Five minutes? Asher: Mhm. Five minutes. What would you do differently? Atlas: [smiles] Set a timer. Asher: [sets a timer on his phone] Starting… now.

**5 minutes later** [SFX: Alarm beeping. Breathless laughing. Blue Monday by New Order starts playing through the speaker.]

Atlas: Time’s up. Asher: Okay, you’ve convinced me. Atlas: Convinced you of what? Asher: I’ll put in my notice on Monday.

Atlas: You’re not serious. Asher: Why not? It’s just a job. I’ll find another one. Question is, is that enough? Or are you gonna make me wait the two weeks until I’m actually gone? Atlas: I… I don’t want you to quit. Asher: Well, if you won’t let me be both, then I choose boyfriend over co-worker.

Atlas: Wh-- boyfriend? Asher: Or am I just a piece of ass? Atlas: No, it’s not like that. Asher: What’s the problem, then? Atlas: [flustered, no idea what to say] … Asher: Right, well, I’m getting tired of the mixed signals. When you figure out what you want, let me know. But I’m not going to wait around much longer.

Atlas: Ash, wait. Asher: Nah.

Hey Slenderverse People!

I made a couple of playlists for series! Two of them have all the canonical music of the series and one is just some music i think fits the vibe of the slenderverse as a whole

^this one has every song outright played on the everymanHYBRID youtube channel (it does not include the songs mentioned on Steph’s blog, unfortunately. This is because there are a fuckton of them, and I could make a whole separate playlist for CANYOUSEETHEWORDS. If someone asked me to, i probably would.)

^this one has every song played in TribeTwelve. If you’ve watched TribeTwelve, you’re probably wondering wtf this is cause there’s rarely any music in T12. Well, you’re mostly right. But all the weird distorted background nonsense? Yeah, it’s all music. So, here it is! (this one does include music outside the youtube channel because 1. the music was less recognizable than in emh where the songs fit the story, and 2. cause it was only like one song; “Blackest Eyes” by Porcupine Trees, which was mentioned in Milo’s Journal as being his favorite song and is now one of mine so you all have to hear it)

***Id also like to say that I did not find all of these songs myself. I simple googled for them and found this webpage, which not only lists the songs, but has them in order. So thanks to whoever figured that out

lastly, here’s just a fan one with a mashup of my favs that are canonically in series and some that i just think fit the vibe of amnesia, hopelessness, not knowing who you are, changing as a person for the worse, having things hunt you, being stuck in a time loop, and all that other fun stuff that comes with being in a slenderverse series

honestly i could go into a deep dive on why every single one of these songs fits, but i’ll spare you. Also i made the cover and i’m very proud of it cause it combines all my faves (the big 5 + Stan Frederick and WhisperedFaith). Also also this is still being added to pretty frequently.

him in the 2000’s was like hell for david because asher had this jukebox that he plays emo music with full volume sometimes.
