The can opener by Todd Wynia Via Flickr: Check out the can opener on this Cooper's Hawk. I'm sure that beak could do some serious damage. I was busily photographing an American Wigeon when this woman approached me gesticulating wildly and mouthing, "RIGHT ABOVE YOU!". Trying to get a shot through the branches, I finally managed a closeup of this guy. Thanks for the heads up, stranger.

God there is this game I’m so normal about- War of the Monsters

A ps2 monster brawler from my childhood with plenty of homages to existing Kaiju/monster tropes playing off of a 50’s monster movie aesthetic. THE MUSIC, THE STORY AND OUGH THE MONSTERS- this game was so fun and so fucking BIG BRAIN. It luckily got a port to ps4 where I can play it again and I couldn’t recommend this game more to anyone who loves giant monsters. HERE IS THE MONSTER LINEUP Each had their own unique special abilities and backstories, 4 different playable skins for each one. You would get cutscenes of each monsters origin ( Save for Raptros and Zorgulon for some reason??? ) after finishing the story mode with your chosen monster!

And each level had these really cool 50's style movie posters when loading in! Here are a couple:

Last but not least, The Soundtrack I absolutely loved the soundtrack. Had that old movie vibe to it as well and OUGH I even made a fan OC years ago for it!

This has since been deleted from DA but from what I could remember; Mintora was female, her map was a movie studio and her special attacks involved raising spikes through the ground. Never got around to making a backstory for her though-

I WISH they would remaster this game or make a sequel. This game was on par with Godzilla back in the day. Monster brawler games are a dying breed and I have A CRAVING-

Here are my redesigns for all the returning monsters for War of the Monsters: Apocalypse, my fanmade sequel pitch for the PS2 game War of the Monsters. This took about three weeks of work, which is relatively quick for something this ambitious, but I’m happy with how every single one of these turned out and that’s what counts. And yes, there are six skins for everyone this time around - the original and recolor are free, but you also get to purchase three additional skins, some of which you can also unlock during story mode, while beating the final boss unlocks a sixth and final exclusive skin for every single character. Some of these skins are modified versions of the ones from the first game, but there are plenty of new ones, too. Variety is the spice of life, as they say!

Also, to make each skin more unique, custom skin effects and voices will be used where applicable. For example, Congar's Skin 6 (Leviathan) emits whale calls, while Togera's Skin 2 (Marine) breathes blue fire.

Let me tell you about the propaganda I used to leave around the house for my parents when I was little.

This one was when my desire to own my own copy of War of the Monsters was at its highest.

I was as subtle as an air horn on all such occasions.

Hasilnya, Toronto Raptors pun sukses menutup pertandingan dengan kemenangan manis atas tamunya Sacramento Kings dengan skor cukup telak 108-93 di hadapan pendukung mereka sendiri.
