Every time I see someone enjoying and sharing anything russian, I think about my mom, who had an old recipe book in Belarus language, the only book she took with her to Ukraine after russians, which call themselves Belarus, occupied her country and almost killed her - and she treated that book like a treasure. However, she forgot it in Kyiv, while we were running from russian culture coming to our home on February 24th.

From the point of view of fiction and not your personal situation, I like the idea of a character realizing a related character is husband material without incestuous feelings following until a later circumstance (like going back in time) puts them in a situation where they have to reconsider what that information actually means to them.
