Tarryn & Brandons wedding is one I will never forget. So many amazing elements. They both work in the mortuary industry so the till death theme was very fitting. They had their ceremony at midnight and it was performed by the grim reaper. Their getaway car was a hearse. TRAVEL THEMED WEDDING STATIONERY WHAT A WEDDING!!

Aoife & Gerard got married on the beautiful island of Gozo in Malta in July of 2018. Having such a fondness for the island, they wanted their love of travel to be a main focus of their big day and I was only happy to help! DESIGN

Together, we came up with a palette of blues (tying in the bridal party colours) along with neutrals for balance. With the couple being keen scuba divers, I had to include a small illustration of a couple of loved up swimmers beside a custom map of the island of Gozo. This became their emblem and was carried throughout all of their stationery designs.

INVITATIONS

For their Save the Dates we designed them to resemble small luggage tags as keepsakes for the recipients. The theme then continued to their invitations where we designed a full travel suite, including a custom passport invitation, boarding pass RSVP and royal blue envelopes lined with vintage map paper (which just so happened to include Gozo in the middle!). The inside of the “Passport” included fun details all about their upcoming nuptials and gorgeous photographs of the happy couple from their engagement photoshoot. I paid close attention to detail, trying to mimic the style of a real passport and boarding pass including map backgrounds and “stamps” throughout to give the suite a fun and quirky feel!

ON THE DAY & BEYOND

For their “On the Day” stationery, they wanted a “Where in the world?” themed seating plan, with each table representing a place they had been together over the years. This was designed as a selection of “postcards” to be mounted, with the couple providing personal photographs of the special memories they had shared and experienced there. This was continued to their table name cards, each detailing a story about the town named and why it was so special to them. Their place cards were origami planes with each guest’s name printed along with an A+G monogram to keep in theme with the other pieces. Alongside their traditional “On the Day” items, I also had the pleasure of designing them a cover to wrap around custom mixed CD’s they were giving as favours, including their scuba divers emblem and a lovely poem for their friends and families. Earlier this year I also designed their thank you cards as little A6 postcards that showcased a selection of their stunning photos from what looked like a truly awesome wedding day! I wish Aoife & Gerard the happiest of lives together and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for including me in their special day! I loved every piece I created for you and hope that they represent some very special memories for you in years to come!

Shirpamal

It is a tourist destination on Jawhar Nashik Road in Dharampur, near to Jawhar City in Maharashtra, India. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja marched to Surat with the Maratha army. They set up camp near the princely state of Jawhar and met the Koli ruler Vikramshah Mukne of Jawhar. Together they invaded Surat.

Warli Art

This painting is a form of tribal art mostly created by the tribal people from the North Sahyadri Range in Maharashtra, India. This range encompasses cities such as Dahanu, Talasari, Jawhar, Palghar, Mokhada, and Vikramgad of Palghar district. This tribal art was originated in Maharashtra, where it is still practiced today.

Kelwa Beach

It is also known as Kelva or Kelwe Beach, is a beach in Maharashtra, India.[1] It is a popular weekend getaway for tourists from Mumbai.

Ganesh Puri

Far north suburbs of Mumbai is Ganeshpuri temple famous for Nityanand maharaj, located at 28 km near Virar, A Railway station in Thane Palghar District on western railway route. Ganeshpuri is one of the oldest temple and also famous for its natural hot water springs.

Gholwad

It is a village in the Palghar district of Maharashtra, India. It is located in the Dahanu taluka.[1] It is famous for its production of quality chickoos.
