Horrible floor pic just to say I finally finished the church dash top. It’s supposed to snow like crazy in a few days, so I’m going to hopefully get good pics of it outdoors then

Quilt top! Stitched with a couple of scrap bags and harvested paper pieces from other projects. But babies don't mind.

Stress has been high lately, so I had a tiny bit of retail therapy and bought a neutral jelly roll that caught my eye. I had seen something similar before and wanted to try my own spin on it. It's so much fun putting strip sets together, and let me zone out into some Critical Role. My S/o had already claimed it for his office.
The block is hidden wells, the fabrics are all Kona cotton. I'm thinking about backing it in red.

I finished a quilt top, my second one with blocks, instead of embroidered blocks
My aunt said I did a good job lining up my points! She's a very seasoned quilter, and I am very proud

One more border for this one (the middle blue from the patchwork above and below the panel, which I will pick up tomorrow) and then my second niece will also be getting a quilt for xmas, seeing as I plan on doing both of these on the long arm on Thursday.
I only just noticed that this could … //technically// look like a hp quilt because of Prongs and Lily, but no, N just likes deer and the colour blue LMAO

Finally got back to my poor neglected churn dash quilt. All the rows are together, they just need sashing rows and sashing on the outside edges.
This is as far as I can go until I cut out the long sashing pieces…which I have been putting off

Only 2 more rows after this (15 blocks) then I can cut and sew the borders
I should be able to move onto quilt top 5 today

Meanwhile, at the day job-
Finished up this Flying Dutchman table runner top yesterday! I've been staring at the mostly cut pieces for a couple weeks while I've been too busy with classes and other samples, and finally got to dedicate a few hours to this lovely piece.
I typically stay away from solids, as I like patterns better, but in the continuing interest of varying my samples and challenging myself to try new things, I decided to focus on solids, while using a bit of texture with the Grunge background. I keep trying to play with my palettes, too, but this one coincidentally works for my gay agenda with June almost here. ;)
Pieced on the Janome M17, and Brother VM5200 using Moda Grunge, and various Benartex and Free Spirit Solids. Not quilted yet.
