I finished this adorable Christmas quilt. Pattern is Twas by meags and me. Will be releasing soon!

I adore the children in their beds. I made them look like my grandchildren.

Decided to quilt myself a shrug out of some fabric quarters I bought and then didn't use.

I do everything by hand, and am fairly pleased with how my consistent my stitches have gotten. Not the tightest in the world at 8-9 stitches per inch, but I'm happy!

Protip for anyone who sews: Don't stick the needle into the fabric that is almost the same color. Look at this foolishness:

I found that needle when I jabbed myself with it.

Finished on of my quilt tops! The fabric is "tequila sunrise" made by cherrywood, and the pattern is "Around the World" and I used Jordan Fabric's tutorial to simplify the piecing.

This little coaster is one of my favorite things I’ve made. That house fabric is so charming and that chartreuse solid almost glows in the sun and is one of my favorite colors from my Iceland quilt.

It’s so simple but I think the design really shines!

Blackwater Dive

2024, hand bleached and dyed denim, cotton batting and thread

inspired by blackwater photography of plankton! this was my first time layering bleach painting. All the silhouettes were painted with bleaching gel, loosely tie dyed, and then bleached again to make the highlights. I quilted the piece using my free motion foot to outline each individual animal and tacked down the rest of the quilt with small satin stitches that remind me of marine snow. I dyed bias tape to match. super happy with this one and excited to show it in a gallery setting soon!

A quilt I made for my mother. No specific pattern, just messily arranging things. The white fabric is some clearance sheets from Target, I do not recommend doing that - the fabric is very see-through.

I made a lot of mistakes throughout this process, but Im still fairly pleased. It's done, after all, and that's the important part to me!
