Holy shit I just played a quick match with a lil girl player who got chaired multiple times and then after the game he went all nasty and said the game was terrible and asked where I got the C ranked badge 💀 I'm genuinely confused because I saved him twice and even body blocked after I was already hit. I wish I took a picture of the stats but I wasnt thinking. The hunter was just picking on each person (aka if he was going after you he would keep going until he got you, I was after right after him.) I was the only C rank there, the other was a B and he played well too.

norton and his hunter counterpart trying to fight for reader’s attention pls pls

Right my first attempt back into writing.. life is still crumbling but im hyperfixated on idv rn, hopefully I'll live..

Pairing/s: Norton Campbell (Hunter and Surv) x GN! reader

Warnings: none, just silly

This happens every damn time. Don't get me wrong, I love Norton. Both sides of him. The second we're all in a match together though, chaos ensues and its not because Fool's Gold is particularly ciolent around me; I say me because he definitely does not hesitate to chair his survivor counterpart.

No, no, it's worse than that. I feel bad for the other two survivors who got paired with me and Norton. The second that Fool's finds out that I am here, he generally turns into a guard dog of sorts. Not wanting me to work so he wanders around with me, other survivors know that once hes latched onto me, they can pretty much run free as long as they dont come into his sights. He's like my sweet guard dog who is still trying to kill my friends but won't go out of his way to do it right now because he deems himself too preoccupied with me.

We are walking around the sacred heart hospital when I notice a certain prospectors magnet dropped on the floor. Unluckily, Fools does not see it and gets caught in its pull. Norton must be around the corner and drags Fools to it, making him hit his head. Dazed, he stands with a hand holding his head. Before I could check on him, though, I'm lifted over Norton's shoulder making me yell out in minor panic.

"Ah! Norton put me down! He wasn't going to do anything to me, you're just causing more trouble for yourself!" He grunts at me and runs away from the dazed rocky version of himself. Quickly hopping over a wall and ducking down while also forcing me to crouch with him. At least my feet are on the ground now..

Before I could fully register what was happening, I was shoved forward slightly just out of Fools Gold's collapse area. Norton however not so lucky and took enough damage for it to be a full hit. He gives me a quick peck to the cheek and an ever speedier "I love you, be safe." Before sprinting off to begin a kite against Fools Gold.

The hunter himself hops the same ledge we just arrived to this spot over, he picks me up off the floor and dusts off my shoulders before mimicking his survivors counterpart's actions. "I love you. I'll make sure he doesn't disturb us anymore. Dont you dare try to save him whenni chair him. You know I won't hit you." He scowls before kissing my forehead and making a quick dash towards where Norton just was.

What an idiot.

"Are they gone...?" I turn back and see a frightened Frederick peaking past a corner. This makes me laugh and nod at the confused composer. "Good, I'm partially afraid of both of them, especially around you."

IDV Ladies and their Love Languages ♡

Alice DeRoss

Alice’s love language is quality time. Time is something she doesn’t have much, and a lot of the time in her life is unpleasant. When she is able to be around someone and not have to worry about work, her past, or anything else but enjoying the time she’s given, she is more than happy. 

-Her favorite things to do include: working on projects with you, sitting and either brushing your hair or having you brush her hair, and listening to music or you talking to her about an interesting subject

-In the manor, the most common place to find her is the Library. No one would be surprised if she eventually ends up reading every book organized on those towering shelves.

-To do something nice for her, offer to let her pick out a few books and read them to her. Sometimes, she gets tired and a little confused, a trait carried through from her childhood, and loves listening to you read so she doesn’t fight with the words on the page.

-However, when she’s feeling good and has plenty of energy, she’s just as happy to read to you, if you wish.

Anne Lester

Anne’s love language is acts of service. When she was younger, she thrived off of words of affirmation, but after being neglected, betrayed, and heartbroken, she’s learned that she can’t take loosely thrown words to heart. When one shows their affections for her, however, she’s all the more likely and happy to reciprocate. While she does thrive off of the praises of others, it means so much more to her if one can both say and show what she means to them. Once she trusts someone, she’s willing to do almost anything. 

-What you can do for her to make her feel loved: After a match, ensure she’s ok and take care when patching her up. Show interest in her toys! She would be ecstatic if you asked to make one with her! You two would come up with the cutest idea, maybe two wooden dolls that come together in an embrace when pushed in such a way. No matter what, even if you messed up, she’d be enamored with you. 

Demi Bourbon

Physical Touch! No way around it. It’s both how she feels the most loved, and how she shows her affection for others. She’s very outgoing and bright and, though she has a strong temperament, she isn’t quick to anger. Instead, she’s boisterous and hearty, dragging people around, giving them a solid hand to the back, or squishing their face with both her hands whenever she’s excited or happy, which is most days. 

-Demi is always happy to have you drag her away to cuddle

-she loves attention from you

-if you were completely fine with public displays of affection, she’d squeeze you as tight as possible then and there, wherever you are. 

-but, she’s also fine with being all over you behind closed doors. 

-When in matches and you happen to be near each other

-she’ll always kiss you, hug you, or hold your hand

-or if you’re containing the hunter and she passes by you to hand you a drink, her hand will linger as long as possible

-as if to say “come on, you got this.” or “I believe in you.” 

Emily Dyer

Word of affirmation is Emily’s love language. She’s very sweet and always tries to see the best in others first. She can be a coward sometimes, and there are certain things that are uncomfortable to her, but when someone says they’re proud of her, or tells her that it's ok to be afraid, and reminds her that she is loved, the world seems like the perfect place to her.

-Emily has a bad habit of getting down on herself and accidentally affecting others with her attitude. She believes that she’s thrown her life away. As she gets older, and doesn’t have that stability she once longed for, her head becomes cloudy.

-She appreciates more than anything when you just take her hands in yours, gently brush your thumbs across the back of her hands and tell her everything’s going to be ok.

-Tell her that everything will work out, that she’s a hard worker and her ambition will pay off

-She’ll instantly perk up, and she’ll absolutely do something sweet for you in return

Emma Woods

Acts of service! Emma has both time and ability aplenty and wishes to put them to good use! If she feels as though she had made a mistake, she’s already making whoever she wronged a nice meal or is offering to take over one of their matches. She seeks out those who she’s bonded with in order to show them the fruits of her labor, whether it be an exuberant bouquet of flowers from her very own garden, or a foldable pop-up card she managed to figure out how to make herself.

-When it comes to being in a relationship with her, you two are practically never apart. 

-If you’re still asleep by the time she wakes up, she’ll gently push open your door and waken you with the utmost tenderness and sincerity. 

-Either that, or she’ll go ahead and eat breakfast, then bring yours up to you if you have still yet to wake.

-In matches, she prioritizes your health over anything else

-If you’re injured, she’ll forget decoding in order to heal you up

-You better bet she’s risking getting hit to dismantle the chair you’re about to be tied to if you’re caught by the hunter. 

-And if she isn’t able to save you in time, or messed something up in a match, she’ll be ready to apologize with a big hug and a sweet treat!

Fiona Gilman

Fiona loves giving and receiving gifts! Despite the fact that she’s not materialistic, like at all, she loves knowing that something reminds someone of her. Her room is filled with trinkets and fun things that signify her relationships with other people. She’s easily attached, but smart about her relationships. 

-It can get difficult for you, sometimes. Fiona will come back with a rock found on some map where she was playing. 

- “Look,” she points excitedly, “This vein of blue reminded me so much of the time you and I…”

-“And these little specks of gold…”

-She’ll explain every meaning she found in this small rock, and you smile, grateful, for the gift.

-But then you have to go back to your room and find a place for it next to the 12 others. 

-It's ok though, she’s just as happy when you do the same.

Helena Adams

Physical touch. How could it not be? Having lost her sight at a young age, she hasn’t been able to see much of the world, but she’s certainly been able to feel it. She loves to feel the curves, calluses, and crevices of one's hands, holding them intently not because she needs to be led, but because she wants to experience.

-After getting comfortable with you as a person. One night, she asked bashfully if she could take your face in her hands

-She spent an hour just running her smooth, small fingers over each minute detail of your features, as if memorizing how you look without even seeing you

-It became her favorite thing to do

-She loves everything that makes your face unique. The shape of your nose, where your forehead becomes your hairline, the shape of your lips, all of it.

-Even though by now she knows what you look like by heart, she still can’t help but putting her hands on your cheeks and peppering kisses over where she loves the most

-only in private, though

-But you can hold her hand any time you want

Margaretha Zelle

Quality time! She believes in choosing what to do with her own life, so choosing to spend time with someone equates to value, since she chose for herself what to do! Margaretha can be absent-minded at times, and is very grateful if someone reminds her to do something, or better yet, helps her out. Cleaning, cooking, playing in matches. It would lighten her load and make her oh so happy if someone were there with her.

-She often wishes that you could be in every match with her.

-She really appreciates it when you volunteer to take someone’s place just to be with her

-Sometimes that's a mistake, though

-If you happen to be near her at the beginning of the match, she place down a music box for speed, and instead of promptly decoding, she’ll grab your hand and pull you into a dance

-A few matches have gone wrong this way

-but that doesn’t stop her from spending time with you

Note: Sorry for not posting anything yesterday, I got home really late and almost immediately fell asleep. The second half of the women of idv will be posted tomorrow. I'll probably make 2 more posts like this after that, two for the men, and let me know if this subject for select hunters sounds appealing! Thank you all for your support! I love you <3

I still don't have power and miss playing idv, so here's some of my favorite gameplay moments that I've been reminiscing about:

-The mercenary who saved me from Hunter Orpheus by breakdancing in a doorway.

-the Fool's Gold in duos who let me go THREE times when I was playing survivor. Literally even walked away from me while I was opening the gate alone. Did I seduce them with my graffiti skills, or were they a fellow Luchino simp? The world may never know.

-the Fool's Gold in duos who walked the last survivor to the chair with my Disciple. It was like a cute little date 🥰 he caught the survivor when they wiggled out of my clutches on the long strole, too. So romantic.

-the Jack who was like, really good. I rescued three times as coordinator that match and was the last one standing. After the 3rd chair took off, I just stopped kiting and gave an applause emote. He took a bow in return, and then rocked my shit.

-the very first Postman I ever played with, who abandoned the open gate to run across the map and save me while the hunter was chair camping. We argued through quick messages the whole time his yellow silhouette rushed to me. "The hunter has detention!"-"stay put, I'm coming!"- "don't rescue me!"-"stay put, I'm coming!"-"don't rescue me!"-"stay put, I'm coming!" You turned our win into a tie, but it was very cute and I just can't be mad.

Victor with a reader who suffers from chronic migraines.

A/N: i haven’t wrote in so long but I got into Idv heavily- Victor is a heavy comfort character for me and I’m mostly writing this for myself (I recently got diagnosed with chronic migraines)

Including: fluff, comfort, non binary reader, plus size reader, and mentions of chronic illness

The room was engulfed in darkness as the only light that could be seen was that of the sun slightly peaking out from the closed blinds. A groan could be heard from the lump on the bed, y/n laying curled up under the blankets. Their eyes watering from the thumping pain radiating in their head, a hand gripping the bedsheets.

A slight knock could be heard as y/n let out a soft whine, the door opening before gently being closed. A bark followed by a quiet hush let y/n know it was their partner Victor and his pet Wick. After a moment of hearing shuffling around, the bed dipped lightly before the blanket was lifted as Victor slipped in gently behind them.

A gentle kiss could be felt on y/ns shoulder as Victor brought a hand up gently running a hand through their hair. He hummed softly as y/n forced themself to rolled over nuzzling into victors chest. He kissed their forehead continuing to run his hand through their hair as gently as he could.

Victor felt the wetness on y/ns cheeks bringing his hand down to wipe away the tears as he kissed their forehead softly. He brought their head closer to his chest as he whispered praises as he continued to play with their hair. Y/n gripped victors clothes as they tried to focus on his touch and not the pounding in their head, the soft whispers helping calm them.

Y/n was used to people telling them their migraines would go away if they ate better or even lost some weight. They knew this was neurological and not something that could be fixed by simply changing their diet or even working out. Victor could tell y/n was overthinking as they whined shoving their head into his chest further. He knew they heard a lot of things from others trying to “help” them with these migraines, he lifted their head up to look at him.

He smiled softly, the stitches in his lips stretching a bit before he kissed them gently on the forehead, then again on their nose moving to their cheek. Y/n let out a weak chuckle before feeling victors stitched lips against their own. It was quick but still meant the world as he smiled softly. “I can tell you’re thinking about not so nice things…focus on my heartbeat and resting” victor said softly as he brought y/ns face back into his chest.

As the day passed the two laid in bed asleep, with y/n in victors arms, even as the moon came out to play the two still slept. The others in the manor knew to leave them alone during y/ns migraines, as the didn’t wish to risk the postman wrath in a match.

☆○o。He’s a more serious person and would be quite different from you in terms of personality, though you’d probably end up affecting him ever so slightly, catching a smile on his face from time to time

☆○o。Don’t worry about hurting him too much if you’re too harsh, he’s probably quite used to it!

☆○o。He’s probably also good at sketching, and would like to doodle with you from time to time.

Today Exe had been selected to be one of the two hunters in a Duo Hunter Match!

So he found himself sitting on one of the chairs behind the curtains of the room. In front of him was a man who wear what to appear to be a Showman’s outfit, not only that but the man was keep humming a tone inspired by the lullaby “Lily Of The Valley”

The man didn’t really said anything the moment he was here and just having his eyes close and leg on top of the other with one swinging around to past the time until the survivors finally comes. Rue was one of them in which make the hunter finally open his eyes and look at her and then turn to look at Exe who have a mask on yet it appears the other hunter immediately noticed they are alike and only smile seconds before the match finally started and only say.

“Let The Show Begin”

A Tree Notices one of its Fallen Leaves

~Sypnosis: During a match, Michiko matched a survivor she wasn’t well acquainted with had a new companion running along her side, one that looks strikingly similar to her.

~Note: this is self-indulgent and I barely know anything about IDV so please bear in mind.

Characters mentioned: Geisha(Michiko), multiple survivors

Another day had come when a match was arranged, the survivors had to decode the ciphers and the hunters would hunt them down before they could escape, out of the many hunters chosen for this round the popular Geisha had been chosen; she was most often friendly with matches unless she really had to win the round.

And in this particular match, she was against one of the survivors she was not well acquainted with nor matched often with you. She was underprepared since she needed to win this match, and if not, she might get demoted in the ranks"Oh dear, hopefully, it’ll be easy to deal with them".

While waiting in the lobby, she went to visit them for a little while to see who she needed to deal with, aside from (name) she wasn’t bothered that much with the team, aside from the enchantress, it was enough for her to get a draw “Maybe this match won’t be so bad”.

Whilst out to look for at least two survivors she spotted (name) very easily, with her butterfly she was quick to dash over to you, your attempt at kiting was quite feeble, to say the least, and you were slow at climbing over windows and running wasn’t your strong suit either, which might have pointed her that you were a decoder, so it was easy to knock you down.

As she was about to grab you off the floor she felt a strong movement from her kimono, she turned to see what was causing it and saw a mini version of herself swinging her fan at her causing the mini to fall over itself and hit the floor. Michiko couldn’t help but giggle at the scene “haha, your attempt is admirable but futile so maybe you’ll stay with (name)”, noticing you were slowly crawling away, she scooped you up along with your doll to a nearby chair and locked you in “You should bring your doll more often when we match” she said before leaving to go hunt other survivors.

The coordinator was hiding nearby waiting for an opportunity to rescue you, as it finally came, she took the chance and healed you when you both got far enough “I know this isn’t the time to say this but we should really get the photographer to catch that scene” she whispered to you.

You were flushed when she said, as you start to recollect the scene that she was recalling “so you saw the whole thing?!!” you yowled at her, “please don’t, she might get nervous when someone brings it up” you sighed.

“You know about that?” the coordinator asked while she still healed you “no, I just assumed since I always see her covering her face” you replied but you were then interrupted by a red light shining your way, Geisha in her Prajna form left you both in shambles, running in the opposite direction where Martha did most of pallet dropping.

Luckily, in the end, it was a draw with you and Martha being the ones to tie the match and the enchantress and lawyer being sent back to the manor.

I love using b tier skins in idv, but I do have ghost girl for Emma.

So storytime.

I was playing a quick match using soul of the forest Emma I believe, and the hunter was a naiad with her nymph award skin.

I was playing with a toy maker with the furry skin (idk the name) and a barmaid with the Halloween skin, also a prisoner with I believe worn clothes.

I was decoding as one does, and I notice prisoner gets chaired and toy maker was just standing there, so I was going to go rescue.

I rescue prisoner, then he gets downed again and when he’s chaired he was done because the Anne literally took one million years to rescue.

Afterwards I was getting my chased by naiad, I palette stunned her like twice and spammed the confused emote BECAUSE GIRL I WAS CONFUSED.

Then I get downed and Anne takes another million years to rescue.

I get downed again I die whatever.

The naiad went friendly for the two girls that had actual skins on.

The one time I chose to not wear ghost girl bro.

Anyway, I was not going to brag my skins before that on my profile, but afterward I just put all my skins on the thing, and changed my character display to ghost girl.

I don’t even have much, I just have 6 s tier skins 😭

That naiad was a whale though, had like 20 s tier skins and I think even an ss skin.

I was so shamed, I started not wearing b skins for a second.

Now I don’t care anymore lol, wearing antique restorer is so freeing.

And when I get cow girl I’ll wear it all the time.

Thinking I’m going to get monsterous bird if I can during anniversary, but if I can’t I’ll just save so hopefully Emma will get a nymph award and I can live peacefully.

...Another day, another match. At this point, Angeline was already used to this...Every week was like that, they would be called for one in the middle of nowhere, and most of the time, it would be impossible to not go...Shame, she had better stuff to do that day.

She looked upon the list of the people called for this one...Mr. Ellis and Mrs. Nair we're there, which was good...They were really good teammates to see in a match, after all, Angeline always felt like they were the best at their respective roles...But this was not what caught her attention, but instead, the 4th survivor, and also, the hunter: Beatriz....As for the hunter...Him.

The woman gulped a bit upon reading that...She knew that Beatriz was no weak teammate, of course - she knew that the dancer could take care of herself for most matches - but...This one...It striked her with fear that perhaps, this would be too much for the other woman...But there was nothing that she could do about it.

This was all Angeline could think about as she walked to the matching room, and as she thought...Beatriz was already there, with a face...She couldn't describe exactly the feelings, sadness? Confusion? Fear?....No, none of that...But more of a mixture...But at least, the seat at her side was free...And it was there she sat.

AVERWAAWA I COME IN PEACE 😞😞😞 I'm here to tell a funky story

basically a few days ago we met a new friend on IDV and we call them Mua, they're Chinese but not too fluent since they're in another country, not China or anything but smth else (ion' wanna dox my precious) so I was like "awooga you are such a cutie" blindly accepting my love 😈😈 and Buma and I regularly play the game mode Tarot where there's two squires, the ones that protects the King, which is Buma. I play squire and I body block so GGG 💪💪 then the Knights are hunters going after the enemy set, same amount of players, 4v4. The enemy knight's objective is to chair the King three times, they can't chair the squires. Anywyas we had another friend thats a hunter main and they're really adept with most character hunters so we're all set basically. UNTIL WE MET ANOTHER SQUIRE, MUA they play seer, a male survivor who sends an owl as protection for like 10 hoots maybe, they decreased the time the owl stays there for, the owl flies away when the hunter hits the survivor the owl is protecting and the maxed amount they can save up is five owls but you need to stalk the hunter to gain another owl, similar to the survivor I play, Enchantress she needs to be in the vicinity only she doesn't need to stare into the hunters soul or smth. She gives out a short stun on the hunter lasting at least like 2 seconds if you're using a single stun, if you have 2+ stacks of the stun saved up, it prolongs the stun time. So I'm an absolute menace to these enemy knights 😈 especially when I play coordinator which her skill is a single flaregun, can only be used once every round on the hunter which stuns them for quite a while like you'd estimate it as 5 but there's a more exact time recorded somewhere. Point is, Mua played seer and when we first met them I was playing coordinator and Mua saw me shoot the enemy Knight three times and THEY BOUGHT ME ANOTHER GUN AND STOOD THERE WAITING FOR ME TO PICK IT UP 💔💔 I was swooning 😍😍 and screaming, they bought everything in the shop to give to Buma for assistance so they're really great. Today in our last round we were against a Ann, she launches two cats that if you walk into, Ann can control whether to lock your skills, preventing you from using whether item/skill you bought, or stop you from walking for like 5 long seconds and you can't avoid that unless she misses the aim for launching the cats or you run farther away from the cats, because they can jump on you. Unlike survivors, hunters can carry an additional skill such as Excitement which cancels out any stuns and prevent stuns from having any affect on you if someone shoots you whilst Excitement is active nothing will happen

Anyways in tarot there is a shop access for everyone, Buma focuses on buying out everything and to give me a gun when she can, it's the first thing I buy before anything else, but this time I'm playing Enchantress because it's safer with Ann, if Buma gets stunned I can possibly stun Ann with a prolonged stack, or Mua can use the owl before Ann hits Buma. Our Knight is really quick in killing off the enemy King so I usually start rushing to uhm torture the knights 😋 with flareguns, I shot them twice which is confusing because you won't see people giving out guns to others but yeah its obvious Buma and I are friends with the matching users but the whole team were friends and work really well unless we lag 👼🏻 THE ANN GOT REALLY FRUSTRATED WITH ME AND IM ON HALF HEALTH SO IF I GET HIT ONE MORE TIME I'd have to self heal on the floor like crawling, can't run and stuff, they hit me. And they START HITTING THE AIR— sign of being toxic 😈 they hit the air like at least six times before going over to MUA❓❓ LIKE MY PRECIOUS MUA 💔 Mua hit them with a pallet though so it was good until a second latrr lol because we shouldn't be using up too much pallets. Then to transitioned to finding Buma and the whole time she was like "wow she's so pissed she ain't even going after me anymore" anyways I got up and shot them again with Mua's gun 😋 then ALL OF A SUDDEN MUA GIVES ME AN OWL AND I WAs so touched because thr Ann used Excitement for that gun and it was so sudden I didnt expect Mua to even be prepared, I didnt even expect to get an owl like Mua is more and more awooga every time we play with them ♡♡ cheating on Buma like the way she cheated on me with Skillshare on 23rd January 2022, 3am in HK time, 10am in UK time 💔💔 oh but anywyas after the match was over, I waddled my winning ass over to the post match and asked

"do you like eating bullets"

"they're delicious"

then leaving right after because im a civil human being😘 best last match ever my teammates were like "goddamn that Ann was toxic"

Meme is referencing to when Buma actually lags and clowns around then gets chaired, and Mua at the bottom of the staircase of Buma's lobby room because I realized they were just standing at the bottom of the staircase and I decided to join and leave my little corner where I always stand at next to a newspaper decor then the other two always followed me down LOL

Not gonna lie I don't know much of the IDV terminology and a lot of the strategy is going over my head but I do understand the universal language of toxicity 😌 I wouldn't go out of my way to get someone tilted, but if the enemy gets annoyed at me I STILL CALL THAT A WIN. It seems you guys have all the strats and reflexes covered in that game, do you play much competitive or is it too toxic over there??

It ain't IDV but I've been watching some Dead by Daylight recently and it seems the game structure is pretty similar. Only DBD doesn't have the absolute banger aesthetic and vibes that IDV has 😩

He had always found it cute, sometimes bordering on nostalgia. But he could never put his finger on why, he could never pinpoint where exactly in his memories that soft feeling of nostalgia emanated from...

It wasn't every day he could have someone like Lockheart keep him company. While he dearly missed his little sister [which he would never verbally admit aloud, of course], schedules collided and timelines would never quite match up. She was forbidden from visiting during his teaching hours [after causing a mechanical disaster in the piano room] and missions would spring up on the young mechanic often, making seeing her only living family member... quite a chore.

Work and school and personal hobbies and commissions all stacked, one upon another, leaving any room for sitting back, and breathing. And while he hadn't intended on putting such important tasks to the side, the surprise visit had it to where he felt he had no choice.

After all, it wasn't every day he heard his name over the school's loudspeaker and have it end in a pleasantly decent way.

He had picked up his surprise guest from the school's office in a quick and timely manner. He extended his hand to Young Lockheart, before turning to make his way down the long hallway. Doors were closed and the muffled sounds of ongoing lessons could be heard from all directions. It took him all but a moment to realize that Lockheart had been doing something behind his back.

It wasn't something nefarious, no... but something rather... childish. She hummed a familiar tune, although, like many things in his life, he could not place his finger on what exactly it was. And with her hands, she gently swung his hand in her own, seeming mildly entertained by the motion. He almost debated on asking her whatever it was she was doing...

but he couldn't bring himself to distract her from that momentary happiness of hers.
