Need more stories abt middle aged and old people finding love & patnerships. Tbh. Like obvs there is so much more to life and it's not important in the grand scheme of things and like most days I am thinking of bigger and better things but also I love romance and if I am not properly kissed at least once in my life like. What.

If we going from idea, that Alice and Fran are roughly same age, how about them having QPR?

I dunno, I don't really see it.

I mean, I can see them as friends for sure. Alice doesn't strike me as a type for relationships at all, though. Feels like she has too much stuff going on to focus on that.

I kind of like the idea that, if we are going with them being the same age, that they were pen pals or something. Then when Alice was hospitalized they lost touch because she was catatonic and couldn't write back, and the doctors didn't keep/show her any of the letters. Then they reunite in London.

I kinda like the idea of Alice being a big sister figure to Fran regardless. But I'm a sucker for this idea that Alice would try to parallel Lizzie with how she acts as a sister.

ok so ik next to nothing about your lore and i'm just assuming anti did something to jameson like in canon, so my questions are: did fran and junes noticed he disappeared or changed (or stopped answering their letters)? if so, how was their reaction?? and what happened to my lesbians????

Yeah, both of them just assumed JJ was busy the first month or so he didn't reply to their letters, but then started to get really worried. They went back to New York a few times to look for him, but no one had seen him for months. Shawn Flynn (I forgot to mention I put him in my lore and that he and JJ were in a qpr and they lived together and is a crucial part of JJs life whoops-) was heartbroken when he couldn't find JJ anywhere and they all just came to the conclusion that he was dead after a few months. Fran and June still have their letters from JJ and they read them everytime they think of him. It still doesn't feel like he's gone to either of them. Shawn, on the other hand, is devastated for years. He still doesn't have any answers and it frustrates him to no end. He's got a lot of bad feelings going on :(

CLASS OF 1978/79 - VICTORIOUS VILLA

Ricky Villa’s mazy dribble to win the 1981 FA Cup comes top of the pile, being named Wembley Goal of the Century in 2001. It was also the Argentine’s pile-driver against Wolves in the semi-final that set up the trip to the Twin Towers. As Ardiles points out: “Ricky doesn’t score sh*tty goals!”

CLASS OF 1978/79 - STRIKE THIJSSEN

The spring of 1981 was a fruitful time for Ipswich playmaker Frans Thijssen. Named as Footballer Of The Year (the first overseas winner since Bert Trautmann), he celebrated by grabbing a goal in each leg of Town’s UEFA Cup Final triumph over his compatriots AZ Alkmaar.

CLASS OF 1978/79 - DUTCH MASTER

Although best remembered for his elegant displays for Ipswich, Arnold Muhren’s three seasons at Old Trafford yielded a place on the scoresheet in the ’83 FA Cup Final and a belter against QPR the same year with his weaker right peg.

CLASS OF 1978/79 - OSSIE LEAVES IT LATE

Tempting though it is to nominate Ardiles’ appearance on Top Of The Pops with Chas & Dave, we salute his most memorable goal, which knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup in 1980, a perfectly-flighted shot from the edge of the area with just three minutes of extra time left.

CLASS OF 1978/79 - IVAN'S PRIZE-WINNER

“Ooooh, Golac!” Alan Parry’s commentary did justice to this rare goal from Saints’ right-back, a half-volley against West Brom that scooped a Goal of the Month award in February 1981.

do they want a relationship? (qpr or not, it doesn’t matter!) : yes but only if said relationship is with henry dorado.

do they have a lot of friends, or not so many? : fran is really easy going and has no issues walking up to new people and introducing herself, but she wouldn't necessarily say she has a lot of friends. she has her core group of friends she spends time with, but has a lot of acquaintances.

do they get attached easily? : almost embarrassingly so lol, although she tries to act like she doesn't.

are they more closed off? : she can be when she needs to be, but she has no problem opening up to certain people about certain things.

are they the type that’s like “in three minutes you’ll know my life story.” ? : no, but in three minutes you'll be telling her to get on with the story, because she can be pretty long winded.

are they the type that’s like “you won’t know anything about me until fifty years from now.” ? : she wishes she could be more mysterious but she really isn't lol
