OH ABSOLUTELY but he can't do anything about it because he serves the Alicein.

He has to keep his mouth shut about a mountain of things he'd really rather not be so quiet about to keep trouble off of his, his children's and the Alicein family's back and some of that backlash would be from the Alicein, via Mikado. Mikado doesn't believe that the peace between vampires and humans within the manor can be replicated in a broader, maybe even global scale. Plus now that we know Lily set him up to cheat (Not that Mikado cheating was any less his fault. It is. If he were less of a weak man Lily's plan would not have worked.) we know why and how he's scared of Lily, his sin and by extent likely most of the Servamps and subclass that break from the range of Lily's children so he wouldn't bother doing much to stop it outside of Lily subclass. Since they're, you know, children. And Mikado, despite being a pathetic sock of a man has nothing against children for what they are or who made them and I do believe he thinks all children should be raised with love and care. I know this bit is a little off target but he is pathetic but he is not heartless. If he were then Misono wouldn't have been raised with love and held so close to his heart. He'd be like an MC from those cookie-cutter webtoon comics.

ANYWAYS, Lily would not be able to do much if anything at all. We can all assume that the propaganda gets ridiculous too like. For all the majority of C3 workers who don't have the more insider knowledge of what the Servamps are like, they could think they're some harbingers of their sins. Like horsemen of the apocalypse but for sin.

Honestly I could absolutely see more of the uh. misguidedly faithful spewing shit like the Servamps being the reasons why there's sin in the world since I'm sure we all know sometimes people can jump to wild conclusions without evidence and just. Decide to die on those hills. Poor Lily hates hearing people who don't know anything dragging his sibling's names through the mud for no good or real reason. Even if he doesn't think it's possible or deserved for him to be loved, Lily thinks everyone should be and that rightfully includes vampires.

i'm sure you've talked about this kinda thing before but what do you think about people saying, like, "stampede wolfwood characterization is bad and doesn't even feel like wolfwood"?

this feels like bait to get me to say something inflammatory, because my opinion on people dismissing stampede wolfwood out of hand is definitely something i've posted before, but i fucking love to talk about my opinions, so. [cracks knuckles]

basically. 1. he's a different version of the character in a different set of circumstances, of course he's going to be different. and 2. the thing most people imagine in their heads as wolfwood... is not the wolfwood that appears in any canon, lol.

i don't think that's even a notable observation. a lot of the trigun fandom is the "the vash and wolfwood collectively hallucinated out of a blend of all three canons, It's Free Real Estate" fandom now. it's a tale as old as time. fandom as we currently know it was built on slash and cherrypicking from canon.

i'm not going to be the fun police about it, or act like my way of engaging with trigun (keeping the individual canons separate and distinct in my head, analyzing small details, thinking really hard about the characters and the circumstances of creation) is the 'correct' or the only way to have fun in a fandom. like, i think i am engaging more with the canon, but some people just aren't interested in the actual specific details of canon as more than a jumping off point, and while i don't get it, i support making your own fun. go wild.

but, man, there sure is something. interesting. about how the platonic ideal of wolfwood that's been developed by the Vashwood Fandom completely diverges from wolfwood's actual personality in canon (it's happened to vash too, but that's an entirely different can of worms) and then people get irritated at the actual canons for wolfwood not being the guy in their head. stampede especially, because stampede wolfwood is a traumatized disaster, and that doesn't really work for the most common flavor of vashwood, where vash is the one who needs reassurance and comfort.

i just.... yall, wolfwood is so fucking awkward. he's always been awkward and messy and unsure of himself outside of the two specific situations he can manage (combat and dealing with children). stampede didn't invent the fact that he has no idea what he's doing and doesn't really know how to act around other adults because he's spent most of his life a deeply repressed assassin. i really have no idea where the idea of him as suave and romantic and self-assured came from...

anyway. i'm not going to tell anyone they shouldn't have the fun they're having. it's fandom. god knows there are more important things to worry about. but i have been noticing some patterns, is all.

tl;dr: anyone is welcome to dislike stampede wolfwood if they want, but wolfwood has always been most of the things i see people criticize about stampede wolfwood's characterization. stampede wolfwood is just harder to fit into the box fandom built for him.

I have an hc that Korekiyo impulsively cuts her hair almost entirely off after she exorcizes her sister's spirit out of her body, but it looks really bad which kind of makes her already fragile mental state worse and Mukuro who's kinda going through the same thing by distancing herself from Junko to pursue her dream of being a hairdresser offers to fix Korekiyo's hair and it miraculously it ends up looking really good. They kinda bond over it and kinda become like true sisters and it helps them a lot.

Happy Birthday to my Beloved 7/15 Boys

I'm a few days late to post because baking this much is exhausting and I had to spread the baking parts out over two days and the photoshoot over another and it took me a while to edit the images, but ultimately I'm very proud of what I've put together 💖

I made Xie Lian Cream Puffs, Ichigo Kurosaki Cheesecake Brownies, and Izuku Midoriya Matcha Tea Cakes!

Ichigo, Xie Lian, and Izuku all have a special place in my heart, and so I absolutely had to go all out for their birthday at least once. I did my best to come out with a dessert that matched each of their individual personalities and character complexities that would also create a satisfying and united visual effect. In this, I think I did pretty well.
