A satisfied smile graced her features. Gabriel thought this was a marvelous opportunity to finally meet Charlie and hopefully, build a connection with her. She also would be more than happy to assist her niece with her project in any way she could.

With a cheerful hum, the Archangel would firmly knock on the front door and wait patiently for answer.

"Yes. All of them. Ha! That sounds like a cop-out of an answer, doesn't it?

"But it's true! I haven't made any secret of the fact that the very reason I started exploring other Hells was because I wanted to get to know my alternates! And I can't say I've succeeded with any of them.

"Most of my alternates, I've only spoken to once. There's one or two I've had a singular in-depth conversation with, but there's only so far you can go with one serious conversation.

"And of the ones I have spent significant time with, I... well—I don't consider getting to know someone physically the same as getting to know them.

"I suppose I chose a bad time of the year to make my introductions. I didn't know that other universes have ruts—and a succubus is convenient.

"... I'm aware I'm a hard person to get to know. I see no reason why my alternates should be different. If I'm not fast friends with them after a mere—what, how long have I been exploring, three months or so?—then that's just to be expected, isn't it! I couldn't have really gotten to know any of them by now, could I?"

This was the first time Don was allowed to bypass Alastor’s no-touch rule, doing their spar in an empty activity room in the hotel.

He had caught Alastor’s right arm in a simple hammerlock hold, a move that was often used in both college and pro wrestling... Nothing too complicated or extreme to accidentally break the Radio Demon’s right arm at this moment.

“Thanks... We’ll start our spars with some stand up fighting, then transition into grappling and submission combat if you’re ready to learn those... I just want to see what you learned in your past alive life before I start teaching you some new moves to use.”
