does anyone know if there’s a free equivalent of photoshop somewhere I can use instead?? Cause I really haven’t done this in a long ass time and I’m so clueless

It takes a few moments, before the creature in question, sloooowly comes out of hiding in order to blink with naivety.

All that’s really seen from them above the surface of the calm waters, is from their nose, up. Golden eyes scanned over the goddess and her pet, before finally the siren disappeared under the water. Swimming over now to where they were, and even giving a little clicking noise in greeting to the kraken below them.

Finally though, they do pop back up, and at first they just blink again, then as their body language turns more sheepish than before, they raise up until they head is completely out of the water this time, and they give a chirp from their throat before flicking the fins on either side of their head.

“Am sorry-- Not meanings staring.” The siren finally spoke. Their language sounding butchered and a little juvenile.

“Was doin’ swimmings close by and find you. And did not wanting be rude and in- interruption with friend yours.”

They gave a little gesture with their head downwards to the creature below, before they gave a little lopsided smile up at her.

    Eris stood by the water's edge, cooing soft words to the Kraken that touched its tentacle to its mother - blowing bubbles under the water. The dark-haired goddess paused, having caught sight of the shimmering colors of a monster she recognized.

    " Come here. " The essence of chaos hummed, narrowing her gaze at the nearby siren. " It's impolite to stare~ "

Hearing someone approach them, the siren perked up some and turned to look at the stranger, only for their expression to shift into one of diffidence when they heard what she said.

Glancing back to the bakery, and then to the rest of the buildings lining the street, eventually Haven’s fins wilted and they gave another pout.

“Am guessings so.”

Part of them really didn’t want to change their clothes. This was their whole style, and they had even picked out a special necklace to wear for the occasion and everything! However, they also didn’t want to go back home without even a tiny nibble of something yummy. (That was the whole reason they came here to begin with after all).

So after a few moments of deliberation, eventually they gave a weak smile and nodded sheepishly.

“Yes… Was want foods.. But not many letting in because not wears shoos.. Could helping please? Name mine is Haven by ways!”

This was probably the first time Haven had been to the Cannibal Colony in a loooong time. The trip over there was usually a long one. Plus, when one had as many connections (whether they knew it or not), as Haven did. It was easy to get their hands on cannabilistic delicacies whenever they were craving some. So there wasn't much need to visit the colony all too often.

However, Haven had been getting that itchy.. Feral feeling again lately. Which usually meant it was time to eat something more than just.. Fish and rice. And wow, did the cannibal colony smell so much tastier than they ever remembered. It was almost as good as the Gluttony Ring itself.

It was fairly easy to spot them in a crowd here though. They were never one to dress lavishly just to stuff their face. And people here tended to.. Stare, because of it.

Though despite the varying looks of passersby, Haven seemed to obliviously look from one window to another of each building they passed. Only to finally stop in front of a certain bakery that caught their eye.

They gave the air a sniff, smiling a little before they went to open the door. Though, the sign on the front luckily made them stop in their tracks before they made the mistake of fully going inside.

'No shoes, no shirt, no service.'

Haven blinked, then looked down at their bare feet and wiggled their toes with a pout. Hm... This may be trickier than they thought.

Haven seemed to tilt their head once again, this time in the other direction. Which made them look more like a confused puppy than anything else. Though despite their silly appearance, they did look as if they were trying to understand what he was talking about.

Marriage was a familiar word to them.. They felt like they’d heard of it once before, but they were never really sure what it entailed. 

However, there’s a certain few words he mentions that immediately earns a little chirp from them as they stood up straight again. This time their eyes were big and they were smiling.

“Bond?? Are saying is- is like soul bondings???” They gasped.

The disguised siren stuffed another handful of gold fish crackers mindlessly into their mouth before seeming to perk up some when Ruby spoke.

The idea of laser vision already had piqued their interest, but to actually see it- Well, it was safe to say, a few crackers went flyyyying into the sky. Never to see their friends again.

The siren’s eyes grew BIG now, and after a moment, they choked down the rest of their snack before taking Ruby’s shoulder and shaking her some.

“Do ‘gain!! Do ‘gain!! Shoot things those!! Oh! OH! Shoot thing that one!!”

Haven may have gotten a little too excited about the mild destruction of one measly rock, but at least they looked like they were indeed impressed. Though maybe they didn’t quite understand just how powerful that gift could be. Because all the things they were pointing at were things like.. Cars.. Birds. And then-

“Shoot Havie!! Do the pew pew!! Does feel hurting?? Or do feel silly tickling??”

"Hey, you wanna see something really cool?" She is so going to impress Haven with this trick. "It's laser vision." There's absolutely no way this can backfire. Ruby has that power way under control now. With a little bit of focus and pew! A single shot of electrically charged bioluminescence shoots out from her eye and hits a rock. Said rock was sent flying right into the nearby puddle. "Pretty neat, right?"

listen i just love the idea of haven seeing a city for the first time ever and theres so many sights and sounds and smells going on, you look over at them and their eyes are the size of saucer plates lkjklkj

haven riding in a car for the first time and biting the door when it moves because it scares them

then after riding for a bit, they start to really like it, and the next thing u see is them sticking their head out the window and just sMILING SO BIG
