Psalms 73. 💛✨ Go and read the whole chapter. 💛✨
²⁵ Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
²⁶ My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
(KJV)
____________
²⁵ Whom have I in heaven but you?
And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.
²⁶ My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
(ESV)
___________
When you surrender entirely, completely, nothing on this earth pleases you anymore. You just want Him. You desire Him, you comprehend that there's nothing in this world (that is coming to an end) that will satisfy and fill you like Jesus does. He is our fullness.
Stop chasing after the offers of this world. Stop consuming content that is not pleasing to God, that only drives you away from Him and leaves you feeling guilty and dirty. Decide today who you want to serve. Decide where you want to spent eternity.
Jesus is coming and believe me, He don't want anyone to perish but to proceed to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Today is the day to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Today is the day to decide.
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
Joshua 24:15 (KJV)

Good morning🇹🇿🇬🇧🌏#Cupoftea☕️BOOK THREE:Psalms 73-89 The Tragedy of the Wicked, and the Blessedness of Trust in God A Psalm of Asaph. 1 Truly God is good to Israel, To such as are pure in heart. 2 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. 3 For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked. 4 For there are no pangs in their death, But their strength is firm. 5 They are not in trouble as other men, Nor are they plagued like other men. 6 Therefore pride serves as their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment. 7 Their eyes bulge with abundance; They have more than heart could wish. 8 They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak loftily. 9 They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walks through the earth. 10 Therefore his people return here, And waters of a full cup are drained by them. 11 And they say, “How does God know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?” 12 Behold, these are the ungodly, Who are always at ease; They increase in riches. 13 Surely I have cleansed my heart in vain, And washed my hands in innocence. 14 For all day long I have been plagued, And chastened every morning. 15 If I had said, “I will speak thus,” Behold, I would have been untrue to the generation of Your children. 16 When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me— 17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. 18 Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. 19 Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors. 20 As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image. 21 Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind. 22 I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You. 23 Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand..#Psalms73:1-28#PraisetheLord#WordofGod#wordoftheday#biblestudy#biblequotes#qoutesoftheday#beblessed🙏 #Shalom#anzanamiBwanaYesu#biblia#NenolaMungu#Nenolaleo#zaburi#barikiwa🙏 eastafrica#swahili#coventry#uk#lifestyleblogger#vlogger#mswahili🇹🇿#Rachelsiwa🙏🏽❤️☕️ https://www.instagram.com/rachelsiwa/p/BulRs1EnEee/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=koulgd42uwwg

Psalms 73
I was doing my morning bible reading and Psalms 73 was one of the chapters in my list of daily readings.
I have read this particular chapter of Psalms many times, but today while I was reading I stopped at verse 12-13 Look at these wicked people- enjoying a life of ease while their riches multiply. Did I keep my heart pure for nothing? Did I keep myself innocent for no reason?”
Psalms 73: 12-13 have been on my heart for a few months now. I have been going through one of the hardest trials of my life and from time to time, I question WHY. Why this, or why that. God how come this is happening to me? In all the questions and the doubts, God has never failed me.
Then I read Psalms 73:16-19. Verse 17 gave me great joy. “Then I went into your sanctuary, O God, and I finally understood the destiny of the wicked.” Only God can fight our battles with the wicked people. God is not going to let those that are wicked get away with anything. Their day of judgement is coming.
“Then I realized that my heart was bitter, and I was all torn up inside. I was foolish and ignorant-I must have seem liked a senseless animal to you. Yet I still belong to you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.” Psalms 73:21-24. What I wonderful promise. God is leading us to a glorious destiny if only we will let him guide us.

But You, Lord
But You Lord, whom I have at all the places and times. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. Psalms 73:25 NKJV All the glory and praises be to the Holy Father in Jesus' precious name ! The subject verse from the Psalm of Asaph (Psalm 73) glorifies and describes the Omnipresence of the Almighty God. As the author says, who is to us in the Heaven other than the Living God. The God who knows us more than anybody else, fills the Holy Kingdom. The Almighty knows us so intricately that we even do not know much about ourselves. The Creator, who formed us knows every individual to the minutest detail. As the following verse says, He skillfully created and placed us on the earth. 'My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.' Psalms 139:15-16 God loved us first The Omnipotent God made us in His own likeness. And we love Him because He first loved us. The Almighty God's righteousness shows His love for the mankind. And the true children of God shall love the Living God more than anybody or anything else in this world. Yes, when we wholeheartedly love the Creator more than anybody else, we shall in return love everybody like Him. Read the full article

📝 In my mind, I know, "the joy of the Lord is my strength," but when I'm down, I often ask God how to find His strength in joy when I don't feel joyful. It's hard to dance and sing when all I feel is the sorrow and suffering. "But listen," the Lord says to you and to me, "set your mind on things above and not on things on earth. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing and thank Me in all of your circumstances, then the joy will come." - Sometimes, I wish my life was simple so I could just rest all day, without stress and bad news and just spend my time with God. What a nice thought! But this is not His way. He says to us, "Yes, daughter, seek Me but not after the storm, in the middle of chaos, look to Me while you are surrounded by confusion, and lean on Me when your strength is no more."🌊 - It would be easier if our life was uninterrupted, but He challenges us to be in constant awareness of His presence, while we face the challenges (and good moments) in our days. - Princesses, let's find the ways in which we can be thankful, becoming daughters who are in constant communion with God, and yes, who rejoice always because God is still good. It's said, "You will go where your eyes go." Let's fix our eyes on Christ Jesus, He is all we need, and more than enough for you and for me. - 📖 “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” ‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:16-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬ - 📖 "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭73:26‬ ‭ESV‬‬ - 👑 www.toallyouprincesses.com 👑 #ToAllYouPrincesses #QuotesForGirls #ChristianQuotes #BibleQuotes #GoodNewsFeed #WordOfTruth #DontGiveUp #Christianity #ChristianSayings #Beloved #BeFoundMag #RoyalDaughter #LifeQuotes #LifeGoals #IdentityInChrist #DaughtersOfTheKing #WordOfGod #Devotional #QuotesForTeens #WordstoLiveBy #HolySpirit #TeenQuotes #DyingToSelf #GodQuotes #LookingForTruth #FaithQuotes #BeBrave #BeEncouraged #Psalms73 #TheLordIsMyStrength
