History

Raymond and Jayden Hartwell were the happiest fae in the whole of Astrails when Roman was born. Roman was their first child, the one which would become the future High Lord of the Day Court. He was going to be the answer to their hopes and dreams, yet Roman turned out to be a complete disappointment. He was brought up just like any prince who was the heir to becoming the next ruler would be, he was taught everything he needed to know to become the High Lord. But, Roman knew from an early age that leadership was not for him. He was not interested in ruling the Day Court. He was not interested in becoming a leader for their people and ensuring that their land was prosperous. Roman did want any of it. He was content with just being a prince. Naturally charming and charismatic, Roman took advantage of his good looks. He didn’t mind being the heart throb prince, breaking hearts all over. He used his skillset to his advantage. Being a prince meant that he got to do whatever he wanted and have whatever he wanted, that was something about his title which he would never complain about. He was too relaxed, never one to get worried about anything. The only thing that would worry Roman was the well being of his siblings. Apart from that, Roman took a laid back approach to life...one which the future High Lord should not be taking. Roman could never forget the look on his fathers eyes the day he had announced he would not be the High Lord. It haunted him till this day, because after that announcement, Roman shared nothing with Raymon. The father son relationship they had, had crumbled just like Raymonds hopes and dreams for Roman had. However, this was the right decision. Roman was not a leader. He never would be a leader. After the day of his announcement, Rowan filled Roman’s shoes instantly. She was always destined to be the ruler of the Golden City. Although he felt guilt for passing on the pressure to his younger sister, Roman knew that this was the right choice for the Day Court.

Crise des Gilets jaunes... ou de la France ? Et si on arrêtait de déconner ?

Pour parler comme Anne Roumanoff : ''Je sais pas vous, mais moi''... je trouve que ces Gilets jaunes vont beaucoup trop loin. Laissons les naïfs se faire ‘’blouser’’ par les interminables monologues ''pro domo'' que Jupiter appelle ''un débat'', et partageons plutôt une analyse de Contrepoints (dont le nom est un hommage à la revue éponyme de Raymons Aron, dans les années 1960). Aux contraintes techniques de mon fournisseur d'espace-blog près, voici une analyse dont le titre est inquiétant : ''Gilets jaunes : 6 causes d’un désastre annoncé''. Après la Saison XIV (et dominicale) de la Saga Gilets jaunes, c'est un autre regard.

''Il n’existe pas de société sereine sans discipline et sans respect''. Même si l’insurrection populaire et une certaine tradition de ‘’la casse’’ sont presque des traditions françaises, le mouvement des Gilets jaunes est d’autant plus inquiétant que les analyses des médias passent systématiquement à côté de l’essentiel : la crise actuelle est avant tout celle d’un système et d’un mode de pensée périmés. C’est la raison pour laquelle elle risque de se prolonger. (NDLR : je fais de mon mieux pour respecter autant que faire se peut le texte et la présentation de cet article, qui est si différente des codes habituels de nos ‘’billets’’ et de ce Blog)

1- LA BAISSE DU POUVOIR D’ACHAT VIENT D’UN DÉFICIT DE TRAVAIL

Quel politique aura le courage de dire qu’on ne crée pas de la richesse -et donc du pouvoir d’achat- en regardant le foot à la télé ? La crise de la France est d’abord celle de la paresse : 64 % de la population âgée de 15 à 64 ans travaille, contre 79 % en Suisse ou 75 % au Royaume-Uni ou en Allemagne. Nous travaillons 15 % d’heures en moins par an par rapport à la moyenne de l’OCDE, et notre fonction publique, largement sous-productive, occupe près de 20 % de la population active. Soyons concrets : si l’essence et les produits alimentaires coûtent plus cher chez nous, c’est parce que nous disputons ces biens à des pays qui, travaillant bien plus que nous, voient leur pouvoir d’achat s’accroître pendant que le nôtre diminue.

2- L’IGNORANCE DES RÉALITÉS ÉCONOMIQUES CRÉE DE LA VIOLENCE

Selon l’OCDE, nous sommes le bonnet d’âne de la connaissance économique. Les Gilets jaunes sont un reflet permanent de cette inculture : leur ''programme'' est une somme d’aberrations, un concours Lépine de l’ignorance. Ils veulent tout et son contraire : moins de taxes et plus de dépenses publiques (avec, par exemple, le maintien de lignes de chemin de fer non rentables, plus d’écologie et du diesel moins cher, davantage de jobs mais le droit de casser économie et commerce, un smic à 1 300 euros et des emplois pour tout le monde)... Or l’équation économique de la France est malheureusement simple à comprendre : peu de gens travaillent, car le travail est lourdement taxé et les taxes sont intolérables car il faut financer beaucoup d’assistés avec les transferts sociaux les plus généreux au monde.

Le plus surprenant est qu’une majorité de la population, qui a été enfermée dans l’ignorance par notre école qui a trahi sa mission, soutient les Gilets jaunes. Il faut dire que les médias ne jouent pas leur rôle d’information. À quelques très rares exceptions près, les chroniqueurs ne posent jamais les bonnes questions et ne fournissent aucune donnée de contexte. Personne, par exemple, ne recadre les inepties économiques d’un Mélenchon, et le peuple français s’enferme et s’enterre dans l’ignorance, dans une absence de perspective qui est avant tout intellectuelle

3- L’EFFICACITÉ DES SERVICES PUBLICS DÉCROÎT ET NE VA PAS S’AMÉLIORER

Une lettre met presque une semaine pour arriver d’un point à un autre en France, contre 2 jours dans les années 1980, et les performances de la SNCF sont en chute libre, malgré des coûts exorbitants. Les causes de cet enlisement sont multiples : les fonctionnaires sont vieux et les organisations, empâtées, sont centrées sur leur propre finalité plutôt que sur les clients-citoyens.

Aucune entreprise ne pourrait survivre sans se réformer, sans licencier des salariés sous-performants, sans ré-affecter les effectifs quand la technologie permet des gains de productivité... et pourtant, c’est bien le chemin que l’administration française a choisi depuis 30 ans. L’État français, contrairement à ses concurrents anglais ou allemands, a raté la transformation digitale. Le service aux administrés a encore empiré avec les tentatives de digitalisation. Le résultat est sans appel : de par son poids, sa lourdeur et son inefficacité, l’administration entraîne notre économie vers le bas, et avec elle le pouvoir d’achat des français, qui régresse.

4- MACRON FONCTIONNE AVEC UN LOGICIEL ÉCONOMIQUE DU PASSÉ

Les mêmes causes produisant les mêmes effets, le jeune disciple fonctionne à l’instar de son maître, avec un système d’exploitation étatiste conçu au XXe siècle. Macron est un Hollande traditionnel dans sa pensée, mais en version numérique et holographique. Le service militaire nouvelle formule, la réforme des 80 km/h, l’islam à la française, la taxation comme unique remède et le prélèvement à la source sont des exemples de réformes technocratiques, frustrantes et inutiles. Et s’il a efféctivement réformé, à la marge, le travail dans le secteur privé. Il a laissé de côté la réforme de l’État et de l’assistanat, deux points qui concentrent les blocages de la France. Pour le moment, l’action du Président est à côté de la cible.

5- LES FRANÇAIS VIVENT DANS UN MONDE VIRTUEL

Le temps passé devant les écrans augmente en permanence. Est-ce pour cela que les Français vivent dans un monde virtuel, de rêves, d’argent facile, de jolies filles et de fake news ? Dans ce divorce avec la réalité, la publicité, traditionnelle et numérique, a atteint un niveau d’efficacité redoutable pour créer des frustrations et susciter l’acte d’achat, ce qui fait du capitalisme la cible des critiques des sots. Avec l’extinction des idéaux religieux et politiques, le consumérisme n’a plus de contre-pouvoir. Il est révélateur que les boutiques de luxe soient pillées en premier : même les racailles d’extrême gauche rêvent de s’offrir du Chanel et du Vuitton.

Une autre promesse existe, celle d’un État ultra protecteur, tout-puissant qui garantit la paix et le bonheur du citoyen, de la naissance à la mort. Une vision imaginaire, impossible, mensongère et qui ne peut que décevoir, à la fin, et cruellement. Et pourtant, c’est cette terrible utopie que l’État promeut depuis des années, en s’appuyant sur des dizaines de chaînes de télévision, sur les millions investis dans les campagnes de publicité, toutes inutiles mais toutes perverses, et sur les écoles républicaines qui sont politisées au delà de toute raison... Et si l’on ajoute à cela une presse écrite qui ne survit que grâce à des tas de subventions gouvernementales et des artistes qui vivent payés par l’État grâce au régime des intermittents, on découvre un fantastique dispositif de propagande qui fait de l’État le premier émetteur d’idéologie de France, et de très très loin...

6- L’ABSENCE DE SANCTION MÈNE À LA VIOLENCE

Il n’existe pas de société viable sans discipline et respect. Or si le contrat social a volé en éclats avec les Gilets jaunes, la tradition de tout casser n’est pas nouvelle dans notre histoire. Seulement, comme une vision erronnée de la société a fait supprimer les sanctions à l’école, et ne plus punir les délits mineurs, cette absence de discipline a eu pour résulante directe l’effondrement des services publics, et surtout ceux de la justice (partisane) ou de l’éducation, (qui ne transmet plus rien).

Le laisser-aller ambiant a permis que s’installe une idéologie hyper-permissive, particulièrement en ce qui concerne l’extrême gauche. Les syndicats ont légitimé des pratiques ultra-violentes, en toute impunité et dans le silence médiatique. However you put together your TBR for the next month, the goal is to reduce the amount of obligation in reading and increase the fun.
