SECRET SATAN TIME! This was such a cool event again and I am so happy about the characters I was able to pick from, because it just really is a rarety that I draw Yuan-ti!

This is Arallin's character Inazari, a druid of spores (my favourite flavour) and I just loved her design so much... Also yes. I did draw every individual scale... Why? I dunno, maybe I wanted to punish myself but I am also very glad I did. I think it turned out so cool looking!

My own end of the Potluck Secret Satan, for @starr-n-art (who I just found out that they also have tumblr!) 

This character here is Satuj, their kalashtar/half elf wizard! In this setting, kalashtar are tied to creatures from other planes, known as the Others, and theirs happens to be a mysterious eldritch entity. These beings are kept at bay by the Myth, a protective barrier covering the world... Which was broken in an event known as The Severing few years ago, caused by a group of scientists who sought to harness the power of the Otherworld. And Sasuj was amongst these scientists- And the only who survived. They had great degrees of guilt over it. However, recently, the pull of their Other has been stronger than ever. They are (unknowingly) being puppeteered by them towards unknown objectives. 

Anyways! This is probably the biggest painted picture I have done this year. Loads of work went into all these lil plants and details. Starr has always been an amazingly supportive person, and the character ticks so many boxes for me, so I was really excited to work on this piece <3 Reblogs would be greatly appreciated, +20 hours of work went into this!! (also gods I love funky kalashtars)

You had so many amazing characters to choose from, it was really difficult to pick but ultimately I decided to draw Jorven, as well as an extra picture of Relent!! They were both so much fun to draw;;;;; I hope I did them justice!!!!!!

My piece for the very cool Secret Satan event hosted by @leidensygdom , Potluck edition! For @mollusken

A bit of context: I chose to draw the darling Swannie in a metaphorical astral sea of memories, being hunted by the sea drakes that were the reason she became a hunter later in life. While she's touching the surface, there is another hand not too far away from her own in the reflection, yet in a completely different realm - a reflection of Fennir (her ex-wife), facing the Jabberwocky dragon that (as far as I understood from the backstory) was the reason everything between them fell apart. 

I hope you like some symbolic storytelling in this one and that I got the big feywild baddie look cool enough in lines alone!

Second part of my Potluck Secret Satan art, which is again @starr-n-art 's Satuj, their kalashtar half elf wizard! This picture was surprisingly much harder than anticipated, somehow! I had been working on the main one for most of the day and I kinda got stuck here. But I was decided to get it done, just 'cause I've come to really enjoy this character as I gathered information to do the art. This picture is meant to symbolize the way the eldritch creatures of the Otherworld (specifically, their not-a-quori) have been manipulating them to they cut the thread that protects the world from them, known as the Myth.
