I really hope I get to live an unconventional life. I hope I get to live in cohousing communities and travel vast distances by sea. I hope I find work that gives my life meaning and purpose but doesn’t consume all my time or define my selfhood. I hope I can create family in all different ways, not just with a partner and children (though I would like those too!). I hope I make such a difference that everyone who meets me is better off because of it. I hope I run through forests and lie in the grass. I hope I am so unapologetically queer and neurodivergent that nobody could ever feel ashamed of themselves when I’m with them. I hope I manage to step outside of systems that cause harm without losing my sense of solidarity for those who can’t or who are most impacted by them. I hope I never lose my sense of justice. Maybe lots of these things won’t work out - pressures of money, time, crisis and commitments to other people might prevent some or all of them. But I hope I try my absolute damnedest at them before I give up.

Supergirl - Unleashing the Kryptonian Spirit by Heath Jett
Supergirl in a closeup view, her gaze filled with unwavering determination as she looks fiercely into the distance. Her beauty and strength radiate as she prepares to take flight and protect the world from any threat.
...............
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the city, Supergirl stood atop the tallest building in Metropolis. Her azure eyes focused on the distant skyline, a mixture of determination and strength burning within her.
In that closeup portrait, her gaze held the weight of the world. She was no ordinary girl; she was a hero, a symbol of hope for all who looked to the skies. With every breath, she embraced her Kryptonian heritage and harnessed her incredible powers.
Her cape billowed in the wind, a vibrant red symbol of her unwavering commitment to protect the innocent. The iconic S-shield, proudly emblazoned on her chest, served as a reminder of her responsibility to be a beacon of justice and courage.
Supergirl's determination knew no bounds. She was a force to be reckoned with, a girl of steel who defied all odds. With her ability to fly and her heat vision, she soared through the skies, ready to confront any threat that dared to endanger her beloved city.
But it was not just her superhuman abilities that made Supergirl remarkable. It was her unwavering spirit, her strong-willed nature, and her unyielding belief in the power of doing what was right. She was a defender of truth and justice, an embodiment of heroism that inspired those around her.
In the face of adversity, Supergirl stood tall, her fists clenched with determination. She knew that the path of a hero was not always easy, but she embraced it wholeheartedly. With every flying kick and every display of invincible strength, she reaffirmed her commitment to protect and defend.
Supergirl's journey was one of self-discovery and resilience. She had come from a distant world, leaving behind her home on Krypton, to protect a world that had become her own. In her, the spirit of her alien heritage and the values of humanity converged, creating a force that was unstoppable.
As Supergirl looked into the distance, her fierce gaze spoke volumes. It whispered tales of battles fought, sacrifices made, and a determination that could move mountains. She was more than just a superhero; she was a symbol of hope, a shining example of strength, and a defender of justice in a world that often needed saving.

before I pass out heres some goofy cain lore for u to enjoy my handwriting is so bad people (my dentist, doctors, teachers back in the day, etc) prefer it when someone else writes on documents for me or they offer to do it for me and just leave signature spaces blank so that it's legible.. but when I'm drawing it's fine, I can even do a little bit of calligraphy..

I understand the technical reasons* why it happens but I hate that a lot of times the trans flag emoji shows up as 🏳️ ⚧️.
FIX YOUR UNICODE + EMOJI SUPPORT, EVERYWHERE.
It's often even inconsistent within a single site. Like it'll show up properly in usernames, but then break in page titles.
*Flags are a nightmare in unicode because they can't just encode specific flags or even specific countries, so there's a whole thing where flags are not codepoints, but instead there's a special Flag Alphabet and you make flags by encoding country names (accordin g to ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2, of course) with the Flag Alphabet. So, like, instead of there being a codepoint for the american flag, you just write [Regional Indicator Symbol Letter U][Regional Indicator Symbol Letter S], or "🇺🇸", which should show up as an american flag. It doesn't seem to work here for Reasons.
Anyway, since Trans People aren't a country (YET), they decided to do something different: It's a ZWJ emoji!
Zero Width Joiners are a trick used in a bunch of places in emojispace to do variants. It's a used to glue multiple symbols together to make new emoji without needing to define new code points, with a hopefully sensible fallback. So like, when there's a symbol for, like, "postal worker", you can get a "female postworker" emoji by doing [female emoji][ZWJ][postal worker]" and the rendering engine is supposed to apply a gender-specific variant of the emoji for this.
So to make the trans flag, they used a generic flag 🏳️ [U-1F3F3 WAVING WHITE FLAG] , then an emoji selector (which just says "render this as emoji"), then a ZWJ, then the preexisting trans symbol ⚧️ [U-26A7 MALE WITH STROKE AND MALE AND FEMALE SIGN], then another emoji selector. So it's actually five characters, and your browser is trying very hard to render it as one. or two, depending.
I JUST WANT IT TO WORK. I know why it doesn't, and unicode is hard, but still. I want trans flags everywhere and everyday and in everything I type. my keyboard should have a trans flag button. in fact, why haven't I made that yet? time to order a custom keycap and get to programming.

Forest Solitude: Batgirl's Contemplation by Heath Jett
Delve into the captivating digital artwork of Batgirl as she finds solace amidst the tranquil embrace of the forest. In this mesmerizing piece, she sits gracefully on a rustic bench, adorned in her iconic batgirl suit, her fiery red hair cascading around her. Lost in deep thought, her piercing gaze reveals a mind immersed in contemplation. This artwork captures the essence of her inner journey, inviting you to explore the depths of her introspection.
......
In the heart of the forest, a place where shadows danced and whispers of the night lingered, Batgirl found solace. She perched gracefully on a weathered bench, her crimson locks illuminated by the moon's gentle caress. Clad in her iconic batgirl suit, she exuded an air of silent power, the symbol of justice etched upon her chest.
As the night enveloped her, Batgirl allowed her thoughts to roam freely, weaving through the labyrinth of her mind. Her eyes, filled with an enigmatic depth, stared into the distance, seemingly lost in a world only she could fathom. In this moment of solitude, she delved into the depths of her being, seeking answers to the questions that haunted her.
Gotham City, a place teeming with darkness and despair, had forged Batgirl into a formidable vigilante. But beneath the mask, beneath the cape, there existed a woman with her own battles to fight. In the silence of the forest, she confronted her inner demons, the doubts and fears that threatened to consume her.
Her red hair shimmered like fire, a symbol of the untamed spirit that burned within her. Each strand danced with the whispers of her thoughts, as if carrying the weight of her silent reflection. She was a paradox of strength and vulnerability, a testament to the complexities of her existence.
The forest provided her with a sanctuary, a respite from the chaos of the city. Surrounded by the embrace of nature, Batgirl found serenity in the rustling leaves and the gentle breeze that whispered ancient secrets. It was in these moments of quiet contemplation that she discovered the inner strength to carry on, to rise above the challenges that lay ahead.
Batgirl's presence in the forest was a testament to her unwavering determination, her commitment to protect the innocent and uphold justice. Behind the mask, she was Barbara Gordon, a woman who had faced adversity head-on and emerged stronger. She understood the importance of introspection, of taking the time to reflect on the choices she made and the path she walked.
In the depths of her thoughts, Batgirl realized that her journey was not defined solely by her battles against crime. It was a journey of self-discovery, of unraveling the layers that shrouded her true identity. The forest became her confidant, witnessing her silent musings as she sought clarity amidst the chaos that surrounded her.
As the night wore on, Batgirl rose from the bench, her mind clear and her purpose renewed. The forest had imparted its wisdom, bestowing upon her the strength to face the challenges that awaited her. With each step she took, she carried the serenity of the forest within her, ready to soar once more as Gotham City's guardian.

"Can't Help Falling..."
Baldur's Gate 3 fanart of my own player character with Astarion. My character's name is Anirali and she is an Oath of Vengeance Paladin with the Dark Urge origin. She managed to maintain her Oath throughout the whole game, so that should give an idea of where both their stories ended up for those who don't want spoilers!
For those who don't mind spoilers...Astarion didn't complete the ritual...and she resisted the Urge. Totally an amazing playthrough. And I wuvs her.
Oh...and...I totally love that she's just the right height for his head to fit perfectly in that little nook beneath her horn... :P
In game i ended up going with the shorter/smaller body type because there are way more armor and hair options for that body type (le'sigh)...but I just started another playthrough with her again using the taller/strong body type. In reality...I envision her to be somewhere in the middle...pictured here...so just a bit taller than he is.
Mood DeviantArt
Tools used... Daz Studio 4.21 Photoshop NO AI EVER What kind of art is this? This is 3D art...it was rendered in a 3D program and then the finished render was moved to Photoshop for postwork. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have!
