This was a picture from years ago, this is Kingdom (My male Delphox). Several of my Pokémon had Pokérus (A very good virus-like thing that Pokémon can randomly catch in games). Kingdom caught it from a Team Flare battle! He was my first buddy to get it, it’s rare so I’m extremely lucky!

Since you're not my Penny, I can admit this to you: Arven and I sometimes hide candy (with the wrapper on, don't attack me!!!) in your neck fluff. Good news! Bunny is almost fully recovered - still a bit sniffly and sneezy, but I took her to the Pokémon Centre again today and Nurse Joy confirmed she was well on her way to being her normal bouncy self again. Hopefully she’ll have a clean bill of health in time for Battle Club on Saturday!

The good news is that even if Gold weren't already dead, Pokérus is not fatal.

The bad news is that it sucks.

Has anyone else caught Pokerus?

Oh, yeah, the whole region has it. But just like the pain, it's all to different degrees. I look more pokémon-like than human, but (for example,) my mom barely looks effected at all. But it's not contagious, so anyone is still free to visit Paldea without becoming a Pokémon.

Okay so here is how each member of the party would be into Pokémon in a modern au-

Mike and Lucas are both very super competitive players, they are the type to hatch hundreds of eggs to get the perfect IV and nature combinations. They also get into local trading card game tournaments.

Dustin and Suzie would both be into the rom hacking community and would get super into the more hidden aspects of the games such as shiny hunting and pokérus. Dustin and Lucas are both the most into card collecting.

Will would be into the games as well although not as hardcore competitive, and would also be into the anime.
