My dexter dragon is here earlyyy!! I'm so thrilled to finally have him! He's literally the perfect size, slightly longer in length than a Build a Bear from his snout to his rump (which is a question I've been wanting answered for ages). Every part of him is luciously soft. There's a wave to his tail that makes it look almost S shaped, which is cool. His spikes lean in different directions in a near perfect pattern. And he's got one lil eye showing while the other is hidden by fur

Soobin — Very gentle care, gentle foreheadkisses, gentle knocking at the door for check ups, gentle scents from teas and soups, him literally suffering with you when you have to take a bitter medicine. You‘re always his priority but when sick !! You‘re his first number one priority. Comes to bring you food to the bed and sits next to you with his plate so you (and he) dont have to eat alone <3

Yeonjun — He‘s definitely the type of bf to take a whole day off/ work from home so he can take care of you. He cooks comfort meals (tries it at least), makes tea, probably and very possibly babies you to no end. He has to!! Its his royal duty to live out his inner unlicensed nurse to the fullest. If he can‘t take a day off, he will make sure to have his phone close and notifications on so he can be of help if you need any.

Beomgyu — Violent care. He is ADAMANT to get you back up on your feet asap. Sometimes, when he thinks you‘re asleep you can hear him cuss out whatever sickness got to you, just quietly under his breath. If you want to he will get his guitar and play a bit for you and he will put honey into your tea for your throat (if you‘re vegan read: agave syrup). He cares a lot, he hopes you can see that even if his attempts may be a bit clumsy sometimes. Beomgyu is a good boy(friend)

Taehyun — He has a medicine cabinet and a brain, he will know a way how to ease any pains and discomforts you might be feeling. And if he can‘t, then he will try his best to help you through it. There‘s cuddles, theres cute little notes when you wake up, there‘s carefully helping you get dressed or put your hair into a protective hairstyle (if needed) so you can lay comfortably.

Hueningkai — He (and others…🧸) probably calls his mum for tips first and then resorts to bringing comfort through teas and quality time. If you don‘t like tea, syrup. Cola. Whatever he can find. He insists on spending time with you because thats what gets him fit the fastest: cuddling (scientifically approved). He will of course offer you every single one of his plushies for mental support and makes sure your waterbottle is always filled up when he has to leave and there are snacks (probably poprocks and gummy worms but hey he tried) available for you

hands full or just want to? while setting up the table, put the silverware/utensils in your mouth like a dog bone, idk it just works. it also works are long slender things, like breadsticks, hairbrushes, etc. just don't bare down too hard, you can mess up your teeth

grow out nails and cut them to be kinda pointy like claws, you don't have to go all in but just de-squaring your nails helps with... dysphoria? I think is the word

get a handful of some small snack (nuts, gummy worms, etc.) and eat it out of your hand sloppily, like a dog

wait by the door/welcome guests, family members, friends, lovers, etc. at the door like a loving dog

scooby snacks are small enough to fit the whole thing in your mouth and resemble dog treats

have something dog like and someone questions it? like bone shaped pillow/plushie, dog bowl, etc. you can (sometimes) use scooby doo as an excuse as to why you have it

Watching a Scary Movie with Gareth

🥒Gareth usually prefers to watch romance movies (they're his guilty pleasure and he takes date ideas from them) but he wants to be tough and protect you. Wrap his arms around you and whisper into your ear “It’s okay I’ve got you”

🥒He will ask you to come over on a night when his mom and sister are gone so the house is empty. He wants to cuddle on the couch without his mom peeking into the room every ten minutes.

🥒Gareth will prepare everything!!!

🥒The night before he will go to family video reading the back of every horror movie available to pick the best one. (Gets annoyed when Steve tries to help him) he picks out multiple different movies, all classics, so you have options. 

🥒Candy, drinks, popcorn...he has it all!! Various kinds set out on the coffee table so you can pick whatever you want. They all just so happen to be your favorite because he asked two weeks ago to plan for tonight (he just wants everything to be perfect okay 🥺)

🥒Takes all the blankets and pillows off his bed and puts them on the couch. He even sets out a plushie (that he claims is his sister’s 🙄) on the couch so you can cuddle it if you don't want him.

🥒Gareth sits and waits on the couch glancing at the clock every five minutes until you arrive. He keeps rearranging the candy boxes because they don't look quite right.

🥒”Oh my-” you're eyes widen taking in everything then landing on a box of candy “These are my favorite!!” A blush takes over his cheeks as he gives a shaky smile “I know”

🥒Gareth will sit on the opposite end of the couch. He’s too nervous to sit right next to you worried that you will push him away. He will also push all the pillows your way keeping only one to wrap his arms around.  

🥒The movie selected is Halloween. The lights are dimmed the living room only illuminated by the television screen. Gareth's not even watching he’s just peering at you from the corner of his eyes. Desperate to wrap his arms around you as your face hides into the blanket.

🥒He will heck in on you throughout the movie “Do you need more to drink?” “So you want more candy?” “I can find another blanket if you need it?”

🥒Throughout the movie Gareth slowly scoots closer to you until there is a cushion between you. His hand slides out touching the edge of the blanket your hiding under that your hand his under. Holding your hand...Gareth would do anything to hold your hand except make the first move 🙄

🥒Gareth loves sour gummy worms and it is the only candy he doesn't offer you. But when you ask for some he gives you the entire bag. 

🥒It’s like everything stops when you grip the sleeve of his shirt eyes squeezed shut in fear “Gareth will you come closer....I’m scared” heart racing as you tug him closer and closer until he is right next to you the warmth of your body pressing against his arm.

🥒His heart is beating so fast it’s all he can think about. When your head presses into his chest shielding your eyes from the screen he gets brave and wraps an arm around you “It...It’s okay I’ve got you”

🥒Gareth will subtly press his face into your hair taking in the scent. Closing his eyes while leaning in closer. 

🥒Gareth isn't really watching the movie he’s too distracted by your presence. Although when he does glance towards the screen he isn’t scared but more annoyed at how stupid people can be. A killer is chasing you come on!! Thinks it could be fun to dress as Michael Myers for Halloween.

🥒When the movie ends Gareth is disappointed wishing he could spend more time holding you. When you pull away he doesn't fight it and moves to give you more space.

🥒”How did you like the movie?” a laugh leaves your lips “I’m still kinda scared I think....I think I would feel safer if I stayed here for the night...is that okay?”

🥒Gareth is wide-eyed immediately on his feet. “Uh” glancing towards the clock his mom and sister will be home in ten minutes “Yeah we’ll have to go upstairs before my mom gets home” he’s grabbing your hand and leading you up the stairs.

"I don't expect you to forgive me at all after what I did last night, but you still deserve an apology. I was having a bad day, and instead of doing something to healthily get rid of my anger, I ended up taking it out on someone who really didn't deserve it over something rather stupid. I'm sorry I was such an asshole to you last night.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what I was thinking, fighting with a kid over truama. Instead of ignoring the post like I should have, I said something stupid, and everything ended up devolving into that mess, which made everyone feel worse. It probably didn't help that I was also tired and not thinking properly, but that's still on me for reading the post wrong and not an excuse.

I know a plushy and some candy can't fix what I did at all, but I hope it can help you feel at least a little better. If there's anything at all I can do to try and fix what I did, please tell me, and I'll do my best to help. Even if it's just telling me to shut the fuck up and not contact you ever again.

I guess we both took it the wrong way.

I just feel like explaining my thought process 'n all cause 'I didn't want to hurt or invalidate anyone, i just get scared when people yell at me 'n so i yell back

my response to what i basically read as "if you were like this you'd have more tramua" was "I doubt that" not because I don't think you have tramua, you clearly do, and i hope things get better for you. I responded it is really hard for me to function like at all due to tramua i have and just saying 'you have less because you're not like this' confused and hurt me. I now realise my response could have been just as hurtful

i don't know if i forgive you, right now. That conversation made me feel awful about myself and set back some of my process in healing from everything, but 'ts good to know you're not a bad person.

I don't like people hating me, so I hope you don't over this.
