⚙️He may not have trusted Vaggy and Charlie in the beginning, but now that they're friends, he trust them and even chose to trust them with his little side too.

⚙️Charlie takes care of him most of the time, but most of the hotel doesn't mind babysitting.

⚙️Pentious loves playing with little Charlie! And he loves to help Little Vaggy when she's struggling with projects, almost as a big brother to her.

⚙️Pentious wants to play with Angel so badly! But little Angel doesn't want much to do with him. Big Angel however acts like a big brother, though, which is nice. 💕

⚙️He still sucks his thumb, so Charlie got him a pacifier.

⚙️He gets along great with Niffty!

⚙️He's honestly a little scared of Alastor

⚙️He's very sensitive, he won't take any criticism well, so everyone has to be careful.

⚙️He'll bug people until they agree to play with him!

⚙️He wants to play pretend almost all the time so he can be play an evil Villan for them to try to foil! But they always fail! (Or he'll cry)

⚙️He hisses at people when he doesn't get what he wants or simply gets cranky.

⚙️He doesn't always listen, he'll act out occasionally but then he'll apologize because he feels bad about it.

⚙️He loves cuddles because he gets cold very easily and he's very touch-starved.

⚙️He tries using his gadgets to threaten people when they don't let him do something...they never work.

⚙️He thinks he's a very scary kid. He thinks he's terrifying!... but he's just kinda adorable. 🥰

⚙️He doesn't watch TV much when he's little because he'd much rather play... but he does love Robin hood and treasure planet!

⚙️He wants people to like him and gets upset if they don't. *Ahem* Angel..

⚙️He comes up with schemes to steal sweets! He's a genius! Then he gets caught by vaggy who takes the sweets away...🥺

This might be stupid (or technically I'm stupid and blind), but I had a revelation while staring at my screen for too long.

All WD already had the 1001?

Spoilers duh

The thing I was staring at for so long. Because this render reminded me of some behind scenes that Glitch posted, I think after pilot aired? (I wasn't here from the beginning and came 2 months after ep6 aired, so I'm probably wrong). But then I stared a little longer.

In this poorly cropped image, the WD units have the same 1001 that the Tessa entity had.

Going back to ep3, the corpses in Doll's apartment also had them.

A couple things:

This has probably already been stated. I'm just hella facking slow and blind.

Does this meaning anything? ...possibly.

1. Just an animation placeholder. All WD units are the same rig, and most of the shots with exposed cores are far away enough that we don't see the numbers clearly, unlike with Tessa entity. So the animation team probably just didn't bother changing it for every single drone - plus it'll take too long.

2. There could be some deeper meaning behind it, but my brain refuses to work anything out right now. It could still be the case that the main WD cast, like Lizzy, Thad, Doll, and Uzi, have different numbers. Almost like Nori had the 002 and Yeva had 048. Buuuut, that's highly unlikely. 002 and 048 were the numbers JCJ scientists assigned to individual drones with the solver string in them. Plus, the number of WD units that were on Copper-9, Earth, plus all other exo-planets far exceeds the thousands number.

Aaand this also puts my previous crazy theory that there could be more of these Tessa monstrosities out the window. Because if all WD units have 1001 or |001 (cause I still can't settle on the first symbol), then that's that XD

hello! i've recently found myself interested in speculative evolution/biology, and while i'm not certain how much you know of the subject, you do seem very knowledgeable in space stuff, so i thought i'd ask your opinion on this anyway. if nothing else, it's an interesting conversation starter.

how do you think life would evolve on a planet with three moons, in a circumbinary star system, that is otherwise similar to earth?

This is SUCH an incredible question & I very much appreciate you asking!

It is estimated that 50–60% of binary stars are capable of supporting habitable terrestrial planets within stable orbital ranges!

There are many factors you have to consider to give a good answer here:

What kind of stars are we talking about? Because it DOES matter if they are, say, neutron stars or red dwarves/white dwarves - radiation, solar winds, temperature, magnetic fields, ...

Three moons: Are those rather tiny or big? Because tides are a thing, they have a lot of influence on the landscape

What type of orbit does the planet have? Does it loop around both stars or just one of them?

For this theorizing here, I'll assume a circumbinary planet, also called P-type, since you mentioned the planet orbiting both stars.

Planets that orbit just one star in a binary system are said to have "S-type" orbits, whereas those that orbit around both stars have "P-type" or "circumbinary" orbits.

For a circumbinary planet, orbital stability is guaranteed only if the planet's distance from the stars is significantly greater than star-to-star distance.

The minimum stable star-to-circumbinary-planet separation is about 2–4 times the binary star separation, or orbital period, about 3–8 times the binary period.

The classic approach would be that life would develop in water, so for that to happen, we must have water on the planet.

If Earth-like planets form in or migrate into the circumbinary habitable zone, they would be capable of sustaining liquid water on their surface in spite of the dynamical & radiative interaction with the stars!

We will assume that the terrestrial planet has water.

And if liquid water is present, life could happen!

YET: A secondary star provides an additional source of radiation & gravitational perturbations & while it may not influence fluid water, it could influence the stability of the planets climate!

Due to the orbit around both stars, the radiation received by the planet in binary systems changes over time.

The evolution of life on a planet requires not only that the initial conditions of the planet are favorable to the evolution of life but also that the planet subsequently remains habitable without interruption.

Based on this, three cases are possible:

Habitable

Part-habitable (life has to go dormant for a reoccuring period of time)

(Unhabitable)

Part-habitable planets would be interesting to look at!

But that may be a thing for another time to discuss...

The world is falling apart. Moon’s been used for stellar energy, and the planet this takes place on is a trading hub for a lot of stuff. Everyone poor wants to get off, everyone rich can, but doesn’t because they are doing just fine.

Lower districts are where all the stealing, fighting, black market trading, etc, happens. It’s dangerous to live there.

The higher districts are orderly, safe, high on protection, though you can only live there if you have enough money.

Thing is, sbi thinks everyone is doing just fine. That the lower districts are being protected and are perfectly safe.

There are two different kinds of hybrids. The ones who look like animals entirely, but have human intelligence and walk on two legs, etc, and the ones who only have distinct hybrid traits, but a more human body. Philza is type two as a crow hybrid, Techno is type one as a Piglin hybrid, and though you can barely tell, Wilbur is type two as a phantom hybrid.

Hybridity is discriminated against in some parts of the world, though not all, and then it’s especially type one, making it harder for that type to get jobs and money. Techno was lucky with Phil.

There’s also a lot of demand in the black market for rare hybrids, like mythical creatures, because of their… parts. Hybrids have a special thing inside them that combines their human and animal traits. Sometimes it’s more, sometimes it’s less of one or the other, which sums up how there’s two different types.

People want that stuff, it can be used in lots of valuable potions, spells, experiments, etc. And the more powerful hybrid…. Yeah.

So it’s more money based, I suppose.

The sbi are very powerful, having loads of money and being very strong hybrids. Phil was born into the rich life, and made a very very successful company that was supposed to help people everywhere on the planet, though he may have gotten gaslighted…

The poorer districts also think he’s helping them, therefore he’s famous there as well as the upper class districts.

Wilbur was trying to replicate a device he gave to a friend…. work it out work it out work it ou-

Borrowers aren’t exactly open knowledge, though many people (especially in the lower districts) know, or have at least heard of them.

They mainly live in the lower districts, because it’s messier, there’s more chaos to escape into, the odds are more on their side.

It is very likely you will get something stolen from a borrower in your time in the lower district.

Like all my borrower designs, it depends. It matters on the breed, place, etc. Some have sharper claws, are more furry, and have tails or animal like ears, or have sharper eyesight, or have wings, or a combination, or etc.

Whumper is an alien on an undercover mission and needs to find a human to learn about. Whumpee immediately catches Whumper’s eye, as they have a rare feature (vitiligo, albinism, red hair). Whumper is fascinated.

Alien Whumper follows Whumpee home and imprisons them there. Alien Whumper loves the convenience of this.

Alien Whumper makes a game out of hurting Whumpee with things from their own planet. Ruining the normalcy of everyday items by hurting Whumpee with them.

Choking them out with a gardening hose, using their chest as a pin cushion, cutting them with hot kitchen knives, and hitting them with belts or shoes.

Alien Whumper caretakes for Whumpee to keep them from dying, but their caretaking is subpar at best. But hey, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, right?

Human Whumpee is very uncoordinated compared to Alien Whumper. They trip over their feet, lose their balance, and regularly stub their toes. Whumper just attributes this to them being an inferior species.

Alien Whumper is much larger than Human Whumpee. Whumpee is constantly just picked up like a baby and examined and prodded at.

Conversely, Whumpee is the alien. They’re abandoned by their team, tied up, and left to die on Earth.

Human Caretaker is one of those super eccentric tin-foil hat wearing alien believers and moved to a town with constant UFO sighting to try and see a UFO with their own eyes.

Human Caretaker whumps Alien Whumpee on accident because they don’t know exactly how to help them heal properly. 👌👌

Alien Whumpee can’t speak like a human, but chitters and seems to speak their own language to Human Caretaker. They constantly look Caretaker in the eye and chitter at them. While they can’t understand Alien Whumpee, they feel a clear linguistic bond between the two of them.

Caretaker notices that Alien Whumpee has a strangely human-like qualities which leads to IQ tests for Whumpee.

The more tests Caretaker performs, the more they realize Alien Whumpee is less of a little pet and more of a truly sentient person. They start treating Whumpee more like an equal the longer they study them.

Alien Whumpee can immediately recognize themself in a mirror and understands object permanence. 😌 smart cookie 🍪

However, Alien Whumpee still likes acting dumb to get Human Caretaker to do more things for them because they are smart enough to be lazy.

This is so laughable I almost didn’t include it, but Alien Whumpee gets kidnapped by Area 51 Whumpers and is experimented on at Area 51.

Caretaker trying to find out what Alien Whumpee likes to eat. So far they will only consume Doritos, steak, grapes, and grilled cheese sandwiches. None of these foods have anything in common, which stresses Caretaker out completely.

✨️A new generation of black holes was discovered by Gaia! ✨️

Or, in other words: the infodump no one asked for -

Gaia accurately measures the positions & motions of billions of stars. The movement of stars against the sky can give essential clues about objects that gravitationally influence these stars. These objects can include other stars, exoplanets & black holes.

The existence of two black holes in our 'cosmic backyard' has been confirmed, which means that they are the closest black holes ever discovered!

They're called Gaia BH1 & Gaia BH2 & they are located just 1560 light-years away from Earth in the direction of the constellation Ophiuchus & 3800 light-years away in the constellation Centaurus.

They were discovered by studying the movement of their companion stars, which is also a tactic to detect exoplanets (stars may fluctuate in their movement too, when they are influenced by the gravitational pull of their planet).

A strange ‘wobble’ in the movement of the stars on the sky indicated that they are orbiting a very massive object. In both cases, the objects are approximately ten times more massive than our Sun & didn't emit any light.

Until recently, all the black holes were discovered by emission of light – usually at X-ray & radio wavelengths – produced by material falling in.

The new black holes are truly black & can only be detected by their gravitational effects.

The distance of the stars to the black hole & the orbits of the stars around them are much longer than for other known binary systems of black holes & stars. Those closer star-black hole pairs, called X-ray binaries, tend to be very bright in X-ray and radio light & thus easier to find.

But the new discoveries suggest that black holes in wider binaries are more common than closer systems!

This information is incredibly valuable because it tells us a lot about the environment around a black hole. There are a lot of particles coming off the companion star in the form of stellar wind. But because there were no X-rays or radiation detected, it can be concluded that the black hole isn't a great 'eater' & not many particles are crossing its event horizon.

♡ Ace Attorney! I love the silly little lawyer games, so feel free to talk to me about them! I’ve watched playthroughs of the trilogy and am currently playing Investigations 2 as well as the DGS duology. In addition, I’ve watched most of the stage plays as well as the anime and the live-action film. I have yet to watch the musicals. Plus, AA gave me THE problematic fave~

♡ Ouran High School Host Club! OHSHC is a lifelong love of mine. However, I’ve only watched the anime and have only read the first three volumes of the manga. Still, I don’t mind spoilers, so if I come across them, I’ll be okay. I don’t have a *favorite* host, though I am somewhat partial to Mori-senpai. (Also Ranka my love, my light ♡)

♡ JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure! I really like this series, but I am also fully aware of the reputation of the fans. I will try not to be annoying as shit but no guarantees. Also, maybe basic or wtv but DiU Josuke my beloved <33. (+ Does anyone wanna give me access to all the manga parts up until now?)

♡ Markiplier! Once again, lifelong appreciation for him as a person and creator. One of my favorite series from him is probably his playthough of West of Loathing, though I love most of his other videos as well and find myself coming back to his channel again and again.

♡ RTGame! Another favorite youtuber of mine. I love most of his videos as well, though his Planet Coaster videos are what drew me to his channel initially. I really like his content, so I frequently watch his videos.

☆ The Crucible! Yes, that play from the 50s. It gripped me in a hyperfixation when I was in 11th grade and hasn’t let go since, hence the blog! I also like other works of “classic literature”, though my interest in those is a bit more tame.

♡ Percy Jackson and the Olympians! (and related franchises, such as Heroes of Olympus). Though I’m out of the “target” demographic for those books, they are still near and dear to my heart. However, (possibly controversial opinion) I don’t like Jason Grace as a character. Sorry guys, but he’s mid. 🤷‍♀️

♡ My Chemical Romance! This band has stuck with me since middle school and I did cry when I found out they got back together, so jot that down. Also stream Foundations of Decay.

♡ Fall Out Boy! Another lifelong love of mine. I’ve loved this band since before I knew it existed. It truly has been there for me from the start. Also, M A  N   I    A is a good album, you guys are just anti-black. 🤷‍♀️ Stream So Much (For) Stardust!

♡ MALICE MIZER! I started listening to them (and the members’ solo work) in September of 2022, and am stuck in MIZER hell. It feels weird to be obsessed with a band that was created and broke up went on indefinite hiatus before I was even born, but I’m used to it at this point. Mentally I’m here.

♡ Queen! I typically only listen to music from the 90s and 2000s, but I love Queen a lot. Like with Fall Out Boy, I liked a lot of their music before I even knew it was them, which is interesting for a number of reasons. 

♡ ABBA! Another golden group from the 70s. Absolutely love them and I think it’s funny how they can now say they went on a 40-year hiatus. How many of your faves can say the same?

♡ BABYMETAL! While I’m not caught up on all the lore (I’m getting there, okay?) I really do like them. I started listening to them in 2019, right before METAL GALAXY came out. When that album came out, I obsessively listened to Night Night Burn! almost every day. It was crazy.
