Honestly when people try to defend their stance for the Colin groveling and why it's essential, it rings hollow. Maybe some people haven't seen the months of imbalanced hatred toward the Bridgerton side of the pairing (and that's fine). The perception of this love story, and often times specifically Colin's character is a misunderstood story point that divides fans, but the endpoint all comes out the same. Nobody is questioning whether Colin needs to be on the opposite side of the dynamic of longing/pining/even feeling unwanted when he's oblivious to Pen's crush. He does! But Colin needs to pine, not grovel. Grovel implies having to beg to earn her love, and that's not a love story. This is about two people finding and loving one another enough to equally "earn" one another's life commitment, but it's because they WANT to, not need.
Also, I genuinely love both Colin and Penelope as characters in their own right. The retaliation hatred, because of how some fans act, I get. But nobody should be spreading more hate and negativity in a space for a couple that they actually claim to like. Like why are we making arguments over who sucks more when they're going to end up together and happy. Nobody should be picking and choosing between Penelope and Colin, no matter what.

enough of pen hot and bothered over thirst trap colin. i want this woman making heart eyes at him as he hoovers crumbs off his shirt. just full blown weirdo. watches as he turns to whoever else is looking at him going 'these are my crumbs! get your own!' and she's just sighing all heartsick like 'isn't he dreamy?'

Hi! If you don't mind, what pen did you use for your knifecat cafe drawing?
it's "croissant 2" from NARI's pentagram cake brush set! i like the texture, though i haven't tried using much of this brush set yet.
