Decided to draw two favourite science guys (TECHNICALLY ENGINEERING IS A SCIENCE ACCORDING TO THE INTERNET DONT YELL AT M- /j)

Anyways, they're pretty much two of my favourites for vastly different reasons, though if we're honest, these two have a 0% chance of getting along (at least in my head, they wouldn't. I honestly don't see it happening).

Though l do like to imagine them meeting somehow. It's funny to me tbh. They'd 100% hate each other, Im telling you.

let me deep something real quick . ok. I, a transgender man, read Percy Jackson and the Olympians around the age of 12ish as someone who idolized his older brother, enjoyed playing video games (pc), spent a lot of time reading, just generally felt extremely alienated from every other girl his age, Percy was everything I wanted to be. He was my absolute idol, my god in an ironic way. I felt very seen, someone who was different in a way that no one seemed to understand (trans) with only one person in the world who you felt truly knew (loved) you. Personal skating update:

Sunday skate.

Had a substitute coach. She was nice. Very encouraging. The main feed back I got was basically I'll get my back spin once I get my balance stable. Need to extend my leg for sit spin. Toe loop is fine. Just got to remember not to rush the entry.

Monday (labour day public holiday)

Apparently I wasn't the only person who had the idea to skate today. It was getting crowded pretty quick. Cat invited me to coffee club which end up being a drills class run by coach Owen. It was good. Was relieved that I could keep up with everyone. Owen's only major criticism that I can remember was I was dragging my toe picks while backwards stroking.

Tried to get more sit spin and back spin practice in after but it was very hit and miss. I'm testing a week early so I have 2 more practice sessions to get both possible by this weekend. I fighting not to put too much pressure on myself. But I really don't want to repeat this level again.

My advice is that they are very small and very scared and the world acts around them in strange ways that they don’t understand. Patience with them will grow into a lifelong trust that nothing will break… even if its hard at first.
