Angel Dust x Gn! Platonic! Reader

Summary: Your crying and your favorite spider’s there to comfort you.

Warnings: implied depressed reader, potential suicidal idealization (?), reader uses gn pronouns, angel dust maybe being ooc, no dialogue

The moment you entered your room you locked the door, fell onto your bed, and bursted into tears, all while hugging your pillow. You couldn’t do it anymore. You had reached your breaking point. You just wanted it to end. For the pain to be over.

In the middle of your crying, you heard soft knockings at your door. You would’ve ignored it had you not heard a familiarly sweet voice ask if they could be let in.

You wiped your tears away and dragged yourself over to the door, opening it to see your best spider friend Angel Dust on the other side with a concerned look on his face. He said that he could hear your crying from outside and just wanted to check if you were ok, to which you internally cursed yourself for crying so loud.

You tried to whisper out that you were fine and just had a rough day when the second you opened your mouth the dam cracked and all you could do was let out a small whimper as the tear started to flood out of your eyes again.

Angel Dust didn’t say anything though. He just took you into his two pairs of arms and just let you cry, rubbing circles on your back. When you started to settle down he asked if you wanted to just chill out and his room, cuddling Fat Nuggets. He also jokingly mentioned that you could stuff your head into his fluff if you really wanted to.

You took him up on the request, which ended up with you laying on top of Angel Dust with your head resting on top of his fluff, cuddling up with Fat Nuggets.

I don’t mean to sound rude when I say this, but please do not take this as initiative to requests me to write for Hazbin Hotel characters. I only wrote this because I’ve been going through a bit of a rough day and it kinda just came to a head a bit ago, so I thought “hey might as well write something with my new comfort character”. I’ll think about writing for Hazbin Hotel but I can’t guarantee I will.

I also won’t be talking much about hazbin hotel to begin with here so.

Sorry if this was pretty short tho lol.

watching Knight chuuya undress and dispose of his armour while you're waiting for him to crawl into bed beside you and you get the treat of seeing him in the skintight black covers they use under the amour, the slight turtle neck and watching as he rolls up his sleeves to put his hair up so it's not too tangled in the morning

getting to feel his hands wrap around your waist and pull you close to him as he mumbles in a groggy tone about how tired he is from work, how he's so glad he can come home to you. his hand traces up to cup your cheek, its slightly rough from combat, you can assume. but its so warm and he knows you enjoy it on you.

being pulled into a kiss and getting to feel him subconsciously wrap a hand around your neck, pulling you closer while he drums on the sides of your neck..... sigh ........

Watching his deft fingers undo all the clasps and straps holding his armour on, the heavy clanks of each piece as he sets them down, the gentle clinking of chainmail as he lifts it over his head. Stripping off the tunic he's wearing underneath and hastily shrugging on his bedclothes before he gets into bed with you. His hands are rough from training and yours rough with house and yardwork but neither of you mind, his fingers find their place around your neck and waist as he kisses you desperately, murmuring how much he missed you.

you, miguel’s loving wife, bury your face in his back, feeling the warmth radiating from him. the coziness and security of his embrace tempt you to stay just a little longer, urging him to delay his departure. you cling to him, playfully begging for "5 more minutes" while coaxing him with your warmth and affection. your voice is filled with an endearing mix of sweetness and determination.

“just 5 more minutes, please? you’re so warm and comfy," you implore, your voice muffled against his back. miguel chuckles softly, his voice filled with both adoration and a hint of a teasing reluctance. he tries to gently untangle your arms from his torso, aware of his responsibilities awaiting him outside the comfort of your embrace.

“darling, as much as i would love to stay here with you, i really need to go to work," he responds, his voice a blend of warmth and determination. Gosh ok so reading Stormbringer for the first time (it's the first bsd light novel I read cause Chuuya is my favorite character) and going through this book and seeing the journal entries Rimbaud wrote. Reading that they EXCHANGED NAMES? Verlaine being like 'I didn't like him though' like excuse me??? And. just Rimbaud saving his life at the end? Becoming his literal heartbeat,,,,, Verlaine realizing too late how he felt,,,,

Anyway, headcanons for you:

They're both also lonely people, but not in the same way which is where they end up misunderstanding one another

Rimbaud is much more romantic of the two.

Verlaine gets flustered with affection, but always, always Tries to play it cool.

While Rimbaud may have been the one to teach Verlaine how to dance, he likes when Verlaine leads (who doesn't like to be spun and dipped come on)

They're both probably touch starved

I can't help but associate them with vintage radios (thanks cou)

Rimbaud can probably play some sort of instrument but doesn't very often. Maybe the piano.

Since the piano is just sitting around, Verlaine ended up learning how to play it and sometimes plays for Rimbaud (or rather, he just happens to play it when Rimbaud is around, it's not actually for him despite playing songs he knows he likes. Whatever you say, you silly man.)

I like the idea of Verlaine wearing reading glasses.

In the beginning, Rimbaud would give Verlaine books that he'd annotated so now they both annotate books and trade them back and forth

Verlaine will read his favorite books over and over until they're falling apart

They steal books from places while working jobs, especially Verlaine. Does that target have an interesting-looking book? His now tyvm

They spend so much time together that they pick up one another little habits and Verlaine hates it when he realizes he's done this.

They're both very observant people and I refuse to believe they aren't fully aware of everything their neighbors are up to all of the time

They're probably gossipy with one another about it, too
