I want so much more but at the same time I want nothing and to just be alone. I’d be perfectly content just me and the cats. But I also haven’t felt cared for in a long time and I’m getting older and I want a family some day.

I told my therapist I’d write up something about “being cared for” cause at one point we were talking about my grandmother and she said how she doesn’t sound like a very caring person and I said after my Aunt died I never really ever felt cared for since. Especially not in my current relationship. I mentioned how there’s different types of feeling cared for.

We’ve talked about it before but being in the hospital does bring about a certain feeling of cared for. Every time I said I missed the hospital and how I hated that I missed it she would always validate that it makes perfect sense because I don’t feel cared for and in that setting it does happen.
