I’ve been aware ever since “Legs From Here To Homeworld” was released that my Pearlsona Challenge was un-completed... now that White Diamond’s Pearl has been revealed to be Pink Diamond’s former pearl, I don’t really have an excuse to not do what may very well be the most important pearl of them all (depending on where to current story goes...)

Top left is a pearl for my sapphire oc that’s floating around somewhere. People seem to enjoy that sapphire. She’s a matte blue pearl.

Then top right is gonna be matte gold (when I eventually colour her), bottom left is fuschia, bottom right is olivine.

So I wanted to enter @24cr Pearl challenge, so here are my submissions for the contest, Coral and Teal Pearl

Coral has kinda gone crazy, mostly due to the fact that she was already broken when she was kidnapped by Red Abalone. She had a very abusive owner prior to her kidnapping and thus, when Red took her, it was basically no difference for her. She genuinely feels that she is Red Abalones own personal pearl, this is mostly cause she’s somewhat delusional, she also feels that every and any punishment given to her is a reward. Her lack of sanity is one of the more unsettling things the other captive pearls have to deal with, besides Abalone herself.

Teal was actually owned by another abalone, though her owner was distracted with an incredibly difficult batch of pearls which allowed Red to have the perfect window of opportunity to snatch Teal away. Teal is very upset and angry over this whole ordeal and has even tried fighting Red because of how furious she is. She’s hoping that her owner is trying to rescue her but with ow long its been taking shes starting to lose hope of ever getting away from Red Abalone

Day 4: Crystal Idol

Of course Lilac’s favorite Crystal Gem would be Pearl lol. What a strong Gem! A strong Pearl! She’s probably some sort of role model for Lilac.

Also I think this is the first time I’ve officially drawn a canon SU character.

My entry for @omega-kindergarden-quartz and their fusion contest!

I fused Crystal Quartz with, oh my, another Crystal Quartz!

Honestly I’ve been meaning to draw these two interacting for awhile now since my CQ would ADORE this single gem.

My Crystal Quartz is a fusion between Silver Diamond and Red Beryl, both of which you see in the comics as they react to seeing this single-gem soldier.

This features Crystal Quartz (mine and theirs), Rue (by) who is Silver’s personal Ruby guard, and EGP (Earth Grown Pearl) whole CQ made after they arrived on earth because she was lonely and Siler missed her own pearl.

(The comic colors aren’t accurate because I put a filter in it to make it look better. Sorry)

Top 3: Mustika Pearls

#1 - Cloud Pearl - Friendly and bubbly, Cloud can hover (like Sapphire). She likes dancing and interior design. If her owner's in a bad mood, Cloud considers it her duty to cheer her up.

#2 - Bamboo Pearl - She's serene and content, with a love for exotic gem-based plants. Her physical form grows petal-like structures that emit a pleasant aroma. Her owner frequently uses her as a gardener. #3 - Cobra Pearl - The most dangerous and oily of the three. Her retractable claws are venomous: A scratch will destroy the physical form of a gem, and poison organic life forms. Other pearls don't like being around her, as she's sneaky and uncompromising, almost always doing what she believes her owner (Snakeskin Agate) wants. Snakeskin Agate sometimes uses her as a discreet assassin. DISCLAIMER: Mustika pearls are not actually a real thing; they're essentially a scam where someone tries to sell a chunk of glass for hundreds of dollars. But Gems are light-based aliens, so they don’t need to follow the rules of reality. :)

#4 & #5 -  White and Black Imitation Pearls

While not made of the same materials as "real" Pearls, they're nonetheless elegant and impossible to distinguish from the real thing without a very close look. They're very polite, quiet, and formal. You have to be careful what you ask them to do, as they tend to take orders literally. Any holograms they produce have the unfortunate habit of glitching up. Nevertheless, they're good budget pearls, since they get the job done and still look nice (even if they tend to be light on personality).

Last 2: Defective Pearls

#6 - Double Peacock Pearl - She’s pretty moody but is still a fully functional pearl. She’s owned by a upper-middle-class gem with a penchant for curios and novelties. Likes to talk about feelings and being more in-tune with the cosmos.

#7 - Baroque Blood Pearl - A pearl with something to prove. She’s not the best at servitude, but she’s a top-notch entertainer instead with unmatched dancing skills and the voice of a siren. To prove she’s the best, she often wears knives (!) on her shoes while dancing. Unfortunately, she’s got a bit of an ego.
