quasar diamond, the beaming sun, handles external affairs. with a bold, terrifying, yet bombastic presence, he is the face of militia, defense, and colonization for the empire. his gem is on her chest

umbra diamond, the somber moon, handles internal affairs. she presents herself with sharp wit and widsom as the head of diplomacy and technological advancement in the empire. her gem is on her back

empyreal diamond, the mysterious cosmos, handles leadership affairs. its divine and all-knowing power is what represents the mastery of gems. it was the origin of all gems. its gem is its third eye's pupil

together, they lead homeworld, along with a fourth diamond belonging to my bf that's in the works.

Diamondsona!!!!

Yes, I’m still mostly a cosplay blog. You will see occasional ocs here too.

Red diamond and the basic members of her court, Red Pearl and Red Spinel. She was created to replace Pink Diamond during era 2. This is a concept I originally was going to use for my old black diamond oc, but because of the black diamond memes I’m making her Red. I have draft designs of more court members coming later.

She is red because she is actually an off color Pink. They didn’t have enough pink essence left to create a new pink, so she has dark impurities. She isn’t like pink, however. She is much more serious and authoritarian. She technically has two spinels as OG Spinel was retrieved from the garden in this AU. Spinel wasn’t retrieved until after Red Spinel was created, however. She is easily angered, but tries her best to control it for the sake of impressing her fellow diamonds. Instead she takes it out on unruly subjects. She requires lots of structure in her court, which her subjects think is because she’s mean. In reality she has issues she denies even to herself, and is taking it out on them. She knows she isn’t Pink. She knows that the diamonds know she isn’t Pink. She knows they try not to act like it, but that they miss Pink. Yellow acts like now that they have Red it’s over and we don’t need Pink anymore. She uses Red as a tool to help her not think about it. White acts like Red is an improvement upon Pink, despite her impurities because she behaves better. White was skeptical of making another Pink before Red was created, though. Blue thought Red would help her move on but she didn’t so she and Red don’t get along. Red just reminds Blue that Pink is truly gone because of how different they are. Red also struggles to keep her anger in check and commands her subjects so strictly because she doesn’t want them to rebel like she believes they did with Pink. She thinks she has heard what happens when diamonds are too lenient. They become failures.

Her spinel uses mostly they/them pronouns btw.

Deep Diamond. The head and true ruler of my Homeworld

Deep Diamond is the top diamond and ruler of all New World Gems. While Glass shines and rules in the front, Deep rules and shines from the back. She skillfully watches on and causes coincidences, forcing gems to think deeper and have an understanding of things. Deep knows the truth, and will always know the truth. She is an “all knowing” being who looks deep and internally of others, wishing for honesty, acceptance, and obedience

Her powers are telepathy, absorption/black holes, repelling or extinguishing light, create beams of light, and causes dreams. She can easily predict the future because of her powers against others, even if she can’t see the future like a sapphire can. Her predictions can also easily change since she’s not seeing the future, she’s just predicting… but she’s usually right.

Watching as her diverse and open world turn into chaos from that diversity, Deep Diamond forces the transformation of her world into order. Deep wishes to surpass her creators (The original Diamond Authority + Steven) more than ever of their failures rubbing off onto her.
