There are many times in our life when the statement, “Never Give Up,” should be kept foremost in mind. But as with most things, really all things, we should not get caught up in emotionalism. Our persistence must be constantly audited to ensure that a healthy dose of logic and realism are being employed in our endeavours.

How to climb a Laurel. If you can find a laurel near where you live it will likely to have lots of branches some of which are close to the ground. Laurels are particularly resilient to damage injury et cetera. It’s a great tree to learn climbing as well as general stretching. It's not often I get to call a day satisfying. Completed my work, dashed home early to write my review of Bernadine Evaristo's Girl, Woman, Other, while ambitiously picking up (gulp) William Dalrymple's Return of a King... while making myself a cuppa☕ Three hours to go before dinner duties beckon me away from magic. Might as well make the most of it 🤓 I finished Girl, Woman, Other last night, and almost cried when I did... it was an experience. Now I'm starting Return of a King and while I'm sure it will blow my mind away, I hope the world doesn't disturb me a lot and I get to read it in peace 🤞 Also: this is my husband’s copy and I opened the page and what do I see? Lo and behold I am holding William Dalrymple's signed copy.
