Delicious Party Precure Episode 5 Review - An Introvert's Guide To Friendship

Kokone is so used to being by herself that she has no idea how to make friends. That’s basically the plot of this episode: Kokone trying to get adjusted to her new friends. I think it’s a really cute episode and shows how introverts work in a way—I would know because I am an introvert too! I wonder what her MBTI is. I’m an INFP, but Kokone doesn’t feel like one. Maybe INFJ? ISFP?

Kokone was so cute in this episode, especially with her being all dazed and happy when Yui and Rosemary called her by her first name. She’s been so used to being called Lady Fuwa or Fuwa-san that she probably cherishes this moment. I also find that she tries to understand how friendship works by reading a book. I do like how her mind works as she’s not used to this and always relied on books for her knowledge. Pam-Pam does raise a good point—just have fun and she’ll figure things out. The way she was saying “Hi” to Yui after she called out to her was hilarious.

Since the previous episode is about her getting along with Yui, this episode is basically her attempting to get along with Rosemary. Kokone reveals that she enjoys makeup as a hobby and is quite knowledgable about fashion in general. She knows what sort of lipstick color to use for certain outfits and occasions; Yui has no idea about makeup because she doesn’t have tools in her house. This makes sense as she’s a foodie first and girl second. I’m not an expert on makeup myself, so it’s nice to learn some tips like using light pink for casual outfits and such. I personally like pink coral lipstick as I think it suits me the best; I just like coral makeup in general. I do wonder what color lipstick she gave to Rosemary.

During the fight with the Ubauzo, Cure Spicy behaves recklessly because she wanted to ease the awkwardness between her and Rosemary. She doesn’t want to be hated by him. I’m glad that they managed to talk it out.

What I liked most is that Yui and Akiho, Yui’s mom, do not judge Kokone for not being able to cook despite being a restauranteur’s daughter. Instead, they kindly teach her how to use a peeler and even use Kokone’s carrot slices to make star-shaped carrots. They’re so sweet. The atmosphere is so peaceful and harmonious. The vegetable soup looks so good too!

Also, that student council president, the one with the black hair…I am 100% sure she is Gentlu because she has red eyes and her voice is the exact same as hers. She’s not fooling me with her civilian disguise! I know she’s Gentlu!

It was also nice to see Takumi again in this episode! He has his suspicions around Rosemary’s intentions in being in this town. I do wonder if he knows something.

This was a very nice Kokone-focused episode. I like that she is trying to get along with one friend at a time starting with Pam-Pam in Episode 3, Yui in Episode 4 and Rosemary in Episode 5. Since she is also the focus in Episode 6, I do wonder who she’ll get along with this time. She’s very entertaining to watch! What are your thoughts on this episode?

Never over the way narcistoru introduces himself to the cure squad

- "coolest phantom ever" (or whatever variation the sub takes it from), he is an adult but he is also five years old, do you understand this

- "what a waste of his looks" why do i even bother analyzing this man if pam pam just casually dishes out the most accurate analysis of him right off the bat
