hi! since you seem to know a lot about great charities and organizations for palestine and gaza, and i was just wondering if you knew of any sites where you could by t-shirts/stickers/pins/etc that have funds that go directly to helping palestine?
if not, sorry for the question. have a good day.
hi anon - I think this post would be a really good start for you, and I also wanna say that I learn about a lot of resources like this by following @/fairuzfan, so I'd recommend you follow her as well.
I also wanna say that Welcome Merchant, for all my Australian followers, hosts a ton of Palestinian entrepeuners on their website, and that they have a pdf full of Palestinian-owned businesses in every state. A lot of the vendors do food and catering, some do clothes, some do design - this week (and afterwards of course) try to have a look and see if there's any business you might want to support!

Got my Kufiya from Hirbawi today!
It arrived shockingly fast, and the texture is so beautiful and unique. Really happy I got mine, and also glad I was able to support them!
Hirbawi is, "the last and only Kufiya manufacturer in Palestine." If you want to show your support, I highly recommend checking them out!
Some lil tips from my experience ordering:
There's a lot of demand for their products rn, which is fantastic! But they are also a small company, so supply is struggling to keep up. Because of this, they had a strict one Kufiya per order policy when I ordered, to ensure more folks can order.
I highly recommend signing up for their restock email list! They sent out restock notifications via email well before their announcement on their Insta, which is how I was able to get mine. They also mentioned that they send out email notifs in waves so as not to overwhelm their site (it was overwhelmed anyway), so if you don't get an early email for one restock, please be patient, your turn will come!
I think they try to restock monthly(?), or at least semi-frequently. I missed quite a few restocks until I got my chance, but again, please have patience, we all want to support them and that's a good thing!
After I got my restock notif, I had a tab open to their site for maybe...four hours. *wince* Their site kept on crashing due to the number of people trying to access it. But I was patient, kept refreshing, and just focussed on one Kufiya, and was able to check out eventually.
They shipped all of their products to Germany, from where presumably most international orders were sent.
They warn that it may take 2-3 months to deliver, but I ordered mine on 2/1, and received it 2/26, so again, much faster than I was expecting!
Hope this info helps!
*This post is not sponsored in any way, I just want to help more folks who might be interested support this Palestinian business

Support Local Palestinian Businesses!!!
This is Freddy Zebara, the owner of King of Falafel and Shawarma. He is Palestinian. As many of you know, Palestinians outside of Palestine are facing many challenges regarding discrimination and hate crimes.
We must be there for our Palestinian sisters and brothers no matter where they are.
If you live in New York, heck if you like to try good food, please support Freddy at his shop.
The location is 3015 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106.

Bernie Sanders finally made a statement, on Nov. 4, calling for a "pause" in the bombing. People in the replies are saying "better late than never!" and I don't even know where to start.
The genocide has been going on for almost a month. Over 9,000 men, women, and children have been murdered. Thousands more have been wounded. Members of press and healthcare and their families have been deliberately targeted and assassinated. Israel has been murdering civilians en masse with impunity for weeks, both lying about it and blatantly admitting to it. 100+ Palestinians have been murdered in the West Bank due to settler terrorism backed by the Israeli army.
In an interview, Dr. Ofer Cassif, the Knesset member who was suspended for calling for an end to Israeli violence against Palestinians, revealed that he'd reached out to Bernie months prior to Oct. 7th because of the pogroms being carried out by Israelis against Palestinians which he said would result with an "explosion [of violence]", but received no response.
what the fuck do you mean "better late than never". what the fuck do you mean? the genocide is still ongoing, and, just like Blinken, Biden, and every complicit ghoul, he's calling for a pause. not a ceasefire. a ceasefire is just the start of what needs to happen. but he hasn't even called for that.
"better late than never" what gives you the fucking right to say that? tell that to the 10,000 people who the U.S. and its allies allowed Israel to murder. tell that to the thousands of wounded. tell that to the thousands who have been displaced. tell that to the people of Gaza who have been without food, water, and fuel for WEEKS. tell that to the Palestinians in the West Bank who are being murdered at the hands of settler terrorists. tell that to the Palestinians who were abducted and tortured and released with blue bands around their ankles. tell that to the Palestinians in occupied Palestine who can't reach their families and friends. tell that to Palestinians in diaspora who have seen their families, their friends, their people slaughtered with the full backing and support of the vast majority of western governments and media.
"better late than never" no, it's not good enough. IT'S NOT. there are SO many people around the world - both citizens and members of government - who recognized the injustice for what it was the DAY the bombing started. we owe the Palestinian people so much more than that. "better late than never" the ONLY thing that could POSSIBLY begin to even "make up" for the horrors and injustices inflicted upon the Palestinian people for almost a century is to end the genocide, end the occupation, end the apartheid, end settler colonialism, and dismantle the colonial state. Palestinians deserve NO LESS than total emancipation. Complete liberation. until then, it is not and will never be enough.

i don't feel the need to post much about the stuff going on with watcher, but one thing i will say is people are being real weird about shane. like for one it stinks of racism to say that he's innocent while blaming everything on ryan and steven as if they aren't all grown ass men with agency and equal stake/say in their company.
and secondly, everyone saying "HOW could he have done this, comrade shane would never sell out like this," like how far down your throat does the boot have to be for you to think you know this random man on the internet well enough to know his personal politics. has he EVER taken any real, consistent action to back his supposed leftist ideology? or has he just been using radical language to appear #relatable to his audience? critical thinking goes out the window when its the internet's favorite white man
and the issue isn't even so much that he doesn't act on those words, the issue is that fans seem to believe he does act on them just by saying them, and then they put him on a pedestal for it. the argument over whether or not celebrities should be obligated to activism when they are oftentimes very tone-deaf and out of touch people whose opinions I would caution you against putting too much stock into is a different conversation for a different post. just let it pass through a few braincells before you jump to defend someone in the most parasocial and uncritical way imaginable

I bought a Keffiyeh so I can identify myself as a supporter of Palestinians offline, and also because I wanted to support a Palestinian owned business. Unfortunately Hirbawi has not had any in stock since October according to Reddit which is understandable considering the circumstances. I was pointed towards HandMadePalestine instead which utilizes partners in the states to keep business flowing outside of Palestine. Profits go towards planting trees in Palestine and towards supporting Palestinian artisans.
The Kieffyeh I received is absolutely gorgeous and soft and light and seems to have been lightly perfumed as well. I was hoping to use it to keep the sun off during field work but now I don't want to get it dirty.
The store has so many other items as well such as dates, perfumes, jewelry, bags, sculptures, and more! Shipping only took about 3 days if that's important to you.
Please support this business and others like it!

you are actually so sick to keep redirecting and distracting from the fact that that list consists of people mocking an active genocide. you clearly don't take that seriously enough. I don't care how evil other people are, two things can be awful at once. you make me sick.
Bro it never was about the list lmao but the fact that h/ritageposts has posted pro fascist (namely antisemitic, anti-ukraine, demeaning ppl of asian and mena cultures, pedophiliac, and ofc straight nazi rhetoric) content all over their account and it goes ignored. The list of jews is just the icing on the crap cake.
Also it was agreed that the bingo is dark humor on the antisemitic rhetoric people are using, wittingly or not, in their arguments. no one is making fun of it, in fact youre just proving it more. The point is that people like you go and attack random jews for calling out antisemitism and then you call it activism. You said it's fine to harass people over dark humor, as you have been doing all day.
FYI, saying you're not an anti-semite means nothing. Your actions say far more (they scream hate).
You have proven you're a coward and an anti-semite.

Not so friendly reminder that Tankies are people who deny not only the genocides of Russia but also Vietnam and China (including the Uyghurs), and are apologists for the North Korean regime. They push Russian propaganda of "colour revolutions" every time a Global South country rises up against a totalitarian government because they believe totalitarianism is merely anti-communist agenda; deriding, dismissing and dehumanizing the liberation movements of our countries that come at great human cost. They're not anti-imperialists or anti-colonial; their chief issue with the imperial core is that it's not their ideology seated at the heart of it. They only care about Global South lives when it serves their ideology, and have no genuine concern or curiosity about the ground realities or agency of the communities impacted by imperialism and colonialism.
I also want you to understand that every major power player involved in this conflict is a genocidal fascist. Hamas, Hezbollah and Houthis that are fighting Israel are funded by the theocratic Iranian regime headed by Ebrahim Raisi (begging you to remember the hundreds of Iranian girls and women killed for protesting it). Iran is also an ally of the notorious Bashar Al-Assad's regime in Syria, responsible for the genocide and displacement of millions of his own people while actively funding the Islamic State he wages war against. Both Assad and Raisi are allies of Putin, who is currently trying to colonize and genocide Ukraine and is terrorising Poland, Hungary, Georgia, Estonia, Latvia etc. However, Iran and Putin (half-heartedly) are also allies of the Armenians who are being genocided by Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is supported by the US, but also Erdogan in Turkey, infamous dictator that hates the European Union and is a close pal of Putin. Meanwhile the US's best friends in the Middle East is Israel, which hates Arabs, and Saudi Arabia, who doesn't recognise Israel as a country but is hated by most of the MENA and is currently in a Cold War with Iran.
*yanks y'all by the shirt and shouts in your face* THERE ARE NO GOOD GUYS HERE, DO YOU UNDERSTAND?? ONLY INNOCENT CIVILIANS CAUGHT IN A SPIDER WEB OF GREEDY, DESPOTIC, GENOCIDAL, FASCIST CUNTS. THERE IS NO POINT TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHICH ONE IS THE BIGGEST THREAT TO GLOBAL DEMOCRACY BECAUSE ALL THE FALL OF ONE DOES IS CREATE A POWER VACCUUM THAT WILL IMMEDIATELY BE FILLED BY THE NEXT BULLY.
These governments can only be toppled from within by their own people once external threats like war with their neighbours are eased, because militaries with nothing to fight are economic black holes that try to eat itself, and it's this economic stress that act as catalysts for coalition building and civilian revolt. Military losses weaken imperialists' coercive power and legitimacy over their own people, so the best thing you can do to help them agitate for change is preventing imperialist expansions from claiming any more victims.
