Which flower are you?
Thanks for the tag @tripl3cast
🌷 Lilani : Tulip 🌷
You are bright and colorful, with a chaotic and unpredictable streak. While you love simplicity, you are not by any means simple. You have a beauty that radiates and are likely the most charismatic of your friends. You have never been too interested in romantic love, instead finding love within your friends, family, and most importantly yourself. You've always dreamt of making an impact, being remembered and adored. You fear that those you love, could never love you the same. But stop and look around love, you have the aura to command attention, and entire countries declare you theirs. You are already, inherently important and cherished.
🌺 Atrum: Orchid 🌺
You are stubborn and you know it. Self aware and hard to impress, you have a close circle of friends and like it that way. You are beautifully unique, with interests that span far and wide. Likely the dark horse of the family, you've always felt misunderstood. You are a creature of habit and avoid change if possible. You are a selfless and giving lover, seeing your partner as the light of your life. Those who are lucky enough to get to know you, would do anything to keep you within their lives. You are unapologetically yourself and value others who are the same. But sometimes, you miss out on opportunities due to your stubbornness and perhaps feel like life is passing you by. Don't be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone my love, everyone you encounter there will find you just as exquisite as you always hoped to be.
Link to quiz if you would like to do it too.

So... Here was my thought process:
Why have I never done a post cannon AU for DA2? Hmm... Where would everyone likely be? Will we know that Fenris ends up in Tevinter, and Varric *can* end up the viscount but regardless it's likely in Kirkwall, Hawke might be in the fade but for this let's say no. Anders... Well, if we assume him to be alive, then half of Thedas wants him dead, so in a way Tevinter would be the safest place, but I doubt Anders would approve of a lot of Tevinters nonsense...
Oh! Let's create a town in Tevinter that Anders would feel useful in and likely end up. Let's also design it in a way that makes Fenris at least occasionally visiting mage sense... And then I can have Hawke, Varric, and a few others hear rumours of "The Healer" in this random town and go find him, getting pulled into helping people and political nonsense in the process.
So... Now I have a town and 9 OCs planned out 😅 complete with DnD character sheets because apparently that's how my brain works...
So, welcome to Vindictus Atrum
Welcome to Vindictus Atrum, a unique sanctuary nestled on the outskirts of the Tevinter, where resilience and defiance against oppression define everyday life. Founded a century ago by an escaped slave, this town stands as a beacon of hope for those seeking freedom from exploitation. If you visit the town square you can examine more of our towns unique history by witnessing the statue of our founder.
Cultural Melting Pot:
Vindictus Atrum is a vibrant blend of cultures and traditions, with residents hailing from diverse backgrounds influenced by Tevinter, Seheron, the Free Marshes, and further afield. The town's streets resonate with a medley of languages and cultures reflecting the rich tapestry of its inhabitants' heritage.
Architectural Reflections:
The town's architecture is a testament to its history and struggle. Graceful elven motifs intertwine with sturdy Tevinter fortifications, symbolizing the fusion of beauty and strength that defines Liberty's Rest. Each building tells a story of resilience and adaptation in the face of adversity.
Key Locations:
- The Council Building: This is the heart of governance, where leaders convene to make decisions collectively for the town's welfare.
- The Tavern:.A bustling establishment run by a former sailor, the tavern serves as a social hub where stories are shared, friendships are forged, and laughter fills the air.
- The Library: A sanctuary of knowledge and enlightenment, the library houses a wealth of books, offering literacy and language lessons to all inhabitants.
The Refugee Camp:
Inside the towns walls, but separate from the main hub, is a fenced off area of temporary buildings and tents. This is where newcomers, mainly newly freed or escaped slaves, are situated when they first arrive. It is here that you can also find the Feather Clinic run by The Healer.
We ask that visitors do not enter the camp without prior permission and an escort.
Legal Status and Challenges:
Vindictus Atrum exists in a precarious legal state, viewed as little more than a rebel camp by Tevinter and largely ignored by neighboring lands. This uncertain status exposes the town to frequent threats from slavers and bounty hunters intent on disrupting its autonomy and reclaim lost "property". Despite these challenges, the residents of Vindictus Atrum govern themselves and uphold their principles of freedom and resilience.
Visitor Guidelines:
Visitors to Vindictus Atrum must pass through heavily guarded city gates and undergo scrutiny by town guards upon entry. Once inside, you are welcomed into a community where hospitality and solidarity prevail amidst the shadows of oppression. At first you may experience wary glances, and hushes conversation, but do not be alarmed once through the gates you are welcome within our community.
All unknown mages must surrender their staffs at the gates, and be escorted by a member of the guard, until the council approves their presence. We apologise for an inconvenience, but this rule is nessecary for the comfort and safety of our residents.

📂📂📂 for three of them! >:}
send 📂 for excessively granular hcs
ONE.
The modern practice of auralerie—aura manipulation—has its roots in the philosophical and theological writings of Azaria of Pinemoor. She termed aura the radix vitae, a primordial matter encompassing the four quarters of life: virtus, malus, nutus, and fatuus. (In modern practice, these are conventionally translated as virtue, vice, will, and fate: Azaria used fatuus figuratively to evoke the senseless, purposeless things which happen without reason.)
Azaria conceived of all living things as an admixture of the radix vitae with the eight rudiments: wood, iron, clay, resin, blood, water, glass, and light. Each rudiment represents one of the eight naturally-occurring dust forms.
Classical auralerie is no longer in widespread practice, having been displaced since the Great War by a more scientifically-minded outlook on aura, but prior to the fall, Beacon Academy still offers classical training as an elective option for interested students. The core tenets of this approach involve the pursuit of harmony between virtus and malus, and submission of the nutua to the fatuus, in order to balance the rudiments of the physical body.
TWO.
Remnant’s inner core is comprised mainly of ateroferric glass—a vitrified alloy of gravity dust and iron—suspended in a bubble of superheated atrum. The glass core exists in an agitated state, and is thought to be responsible for generating the planet’s magnetic field.
Above the core is a thick, viscous layer of molten silicates. This is denser than the underlying atrum: there is no scientific consensus regarding the mechanism that prevents it from sinking. Leading hypothesis include the possibility of the liquid interior having a rigid outer shell, and what is known as the emulsion theory—that is, that the silicate mantle does continually sink into the atrum layer, but is shredded and carried upward again by rising bubbles of atrum.
Irrespective of the precise mechanism, what is fairly certain is that convection in the mantle is driven partly by plumes of atrum rising from the liquid core. The upper layers of the mantle experience unpredictable turbulence driven by cooling of these atrum plumes, which has a significant destructive effect on the crust. Younger plate boundaries are characterized by high proportion ms of atrum in erupted materials; older ones extrude more magma.
Because grimm can survive under immense pressure and intense heat, it is not uncommon for effusive volcanic eruptions to erupt rivers of lava swimming with fully-formed grimm.
THREE.
Salem is intensely religious.
Her practice of religion is idiosyncratic and rather eclectic: she pays reverence to all four of the Tree’s aspects—those being the Artisan, the Walker, the Singer, and the Sleeper; to the God of Darkness; to the God of Animals, whom she still calls Omadios as was common in pre-antiquity Anima; and an assortment of other gods she’s collected through the centuries.
Whether they truly exist or not matters to her not at all. (In fact she worships Darkness specifically because he is gone.) Belief is not the point. She cares about the practice: the ritual, the acts of prayer and propitiation, the method that makes it real in every way that matters as far as she’s concerned.
The greater part of her scorn for Ozma’s zealotry is her loathing of the God of Light, but it is also partly motivated by her utter disdain for their praxis, which she thinks is hollow and spiritually vapid.

Day 237: On one hand, I am a bit sad that, according to Case Files, Siegfried's catalyst (a linden leaf stained in blood) is quite literally burned up, meaning that he isn't summonable in the Stay Night timeline.
On the other hand, since the guy that wanted to summon him was Atrum, so I kinda consider this a version of a mercy kill.

Your real name is morgana right, will sinbad ever call you by your real name or is the nickname going to stick
My real name is Morgan. I have it on a my original comics :3 Sinbad and some of the others will learn it eventually. I prefer being called "Mori" whenever I can so they will still use "Mori" most of the time. I don't consider "Morgan" a dead name, but I do have a full chosen name which is "Attrum Mori." It has no last name. I might use "Attrum" for the Adventures AUs so it's less confusing when switching between the stories, but I'm undecided. (I sometimes spell it Atrum with 1 T because I'm undecided on which I prefer).
I have been nicknamed "Morgana," "Morrigan" and "Morrigana" by a few people. They are some of the nicknames I actually like based off of my real name. :3
I didn't like my name when I was little because I don't like how the "g" sounds or feels when I say it. Also, people kept nicknaming me "Morg," Morgs," "Morgy," anc"Morgsy," all of which make the "g" more prominent which I hated even more than my real name. I also didn't like it because nearly all characters I know of named "Morgan" are villains and I didn't want to be a bad guy. Eventually, I learned that "morgue" which sounds the same as "Morg" is the name of a place that holds dead bodies and that made me more upset. I later learned the Latin word "mori" meaning "death” through the phase "memento mori" ("remember death") and decided that if I was going have a death related nickname than I wanted one that sounded cute. It ended up becoming my preferred name because I like how it sounds. Can't deny that being a weeb also contributed to my preference for the nickname. "Mori" is a common last name in Japan so it was cool feeling like I knew what it would be like if they said my name.

Alternate Master/Servant Pairings
Combinations with no limit (but attempts at justifying them) dropped into the ether, recycled from a reddit post from who knows when.
----------------------------
Alice Kuonji/Medea
Witches that could learn from each other, but upon first contact Medea would probably be egging Alice on to test if she and her magecraft is worth anything.
Vlov Arkhangel/Anastasia
Tragedy. Ice. It's also extremely cute, because the Servant/Master relationship will be reserved and the old knight will devote himself to the duchess. Judging by Akiha, he is very straightforward.
Araya Souren/Buddha
The Saver would descent upon the eternally depressed centuries-old former monk looking to end the pointless cycle of human deaths out of compassion, right ?
Aoko Aozaki/Musashi
Confident and outgoing wanderers. No idea for Mahoyo-era Aoko.
Mario Gallo Bestino/Popess Johanna
I don't know anything deep about Johanna, I just want someone to reel the little shit in.
Asagami Fujino/Pale Rider
What they have in common is "disease" and "death”, or maybe carnage. Like with Tsubaki Kuruoka, Pale Rider will act upon Fujinon's (murderous) whims.
Miyako Arima/Li Shuwen
She needs to perfect her Bajiquan, sorry Master Panda.
Tiné Chelc/Lakshmibai
What's common between them is the desire to protect their peoples and their lands against outsiders. Geronimo or Vlad would also count.
Orlando Reeve/Hijikata
Gruff lawmen.
Touko Aozaki/Holmes
Investigators.
Ayako Mitsuzuri/Saito Hajime
 Laid-back martial artists, and :
Noel/Angra Mainyu
They're pathetic.
Soujuurou Shizuki/Zealot
I think it's funny to imagine Shizuki in a Shirou moment and accidentally summoning Zealot, to which Zealot (ready to kill a heretical mage) is very confused once this drab-looking boy just gulps and responds with well ... I do know two mages ... but otherwise has no idea what a Grail War is. And doesn't know much about the modern world in general. Or she could be summoned by Atrum Galliasta to kill that fucker faster than Medea did. Or Cornelius Alba.

The Chronicles of a Romantic Florist (2)
Tumblr media
Alee pulled into the circular driveway, following the path to stop directly in front of the menacing manor. Mieran leaned slightly to look up at the house through the passenger side window, it was a lot more imposing up close than from the bottom of the hill it sat on.
“The family is unconventional but they're nice all things considered.” Alee commented as he put his car in park. He could tell from Mieran's quick glance that the artist didn't quite believe him. Alee flashed the man a quick smile before undoing his seat belt and exiting the car.
Mieran followed suit, closing the door behind him. Alee headed to the small trailer attached to the car, unlocking the bolts while Mieran waited, leaning against the sleek black door of the vehicle. A crow cared above, wind blew a decent breeze that rustled the nearby trees. He felt like he was in one of Alee's horror films.
“Good afternoon.”
The artist jumped, caught off guard by the sudden appearance of a man in a suit. Parts of his brown and white hair tied back, a calm, almost.. Mieran wanted to say a smug, but not quite, expression on his face. The man stepped closer, and beside him, Mieran felt even his clothes were perhaps too… Lax.
“Did I scare you? Sorry.” His chuckle was light. “I didn't realise Doctor Destan hired more staff. Lumio D’Stella, co-owner.” Lumio introduced himself with a slight flourish. A man who knew who he was, what he was.
“I'm not-”
“Lumio, stop flirting with my- friend. Mieran can you help me with these please?”
Alee’s voice came from the trailer, he already sounded exasperated. He didn't want the man to wait.
“Mieran Atrum.”
He nodded his head and quickly stepped away from the director, rounding the back of the trailer. “How did you-” Mieran reached into the trailer, tugging on Alee’s waist to get him unstuck from between the vases of flowers.
“I forgot about last night! My hip still hurts.” Alee complained with a huff, taking some of the vases of funerary flowers and placing them in Mieran’s arms. One for each arm tucked secure against his torso. Mieran, however, felt his cheeks heating up. Last night had been.. Physically intensive..
The two rounded the car, stopping in front of Lumio once more. Alee balanced two vases whilst holding a clipboard out to the brunet. Lumio took it and the pen attached, signing their name at the bottom for the delivery before handing the clipboard back to him.
“Always a pleasure to work with you, Mister D’Stella.”
“And you, Doctor.”
Mieran didn't miss the way Lumio pivoted to watch Alee hop up the steps of the manor, expression unreadable if he himself didn't specifically understand it. The door creaked open for him and he quietly slipped inside, leaving Lumio to turn their attention back to him.
“Need help?”
“No, no. I got it.” Mieran answered relatively quietly as he opted to instead follow the man. He wasn't sure how he felt about Alee calling him their friend instead of their boyfriend. But then, he couldn't get mad, they hadn't yet clarified the label attached to their relationship. Knowing Alee, Mieran figured he was nervous about upsetting him with the wrong choice of word rather than any malicious intent.
Easy to go from friendship to dating, much harder to go back.
The door opened for him too and he stepped inside the old large house, immediately taking in the beautiful grand entrance. Alee was stood speaking to someone that towered over him, it's form wasn't exactly.. Right. But then, Alee sometimes had a fox tail. Who was he to judge? The woman who opened the door smiled at him before disappearing through a small archway.
“Ah my helper for the day, Mieran come here.” Alee beckoned him over and he went to stand by his lover's side. “This is Mieran, the tattoo artist I told you about last week. Mieran, this is Umbrastella. The other half of D'Stella and D'Stella Funeral Home. And Lumio's parent.”
It tilted its head at him curiously, as if examining him before it nodded at Alee. The florist seemed pleased by this reaction Mieran didn't quite understand. Alee bumped his shoulder against his, as if to reassure him. An appreciated gesture while he was so out of his own element.
It gestured with a lanky limb towards a large arch and Alee nodded. The artist quickly followed him into the room, vases clutched close to his chest.
“Don't worry it doesn't bite. I've known Umbra for years.” Alee set the vases on a wooden table, and Mieran followed suit, looking around at the beautiful chapel. It really was like an american gothic film.
Alee began to take old vases void of flowers off the various pedestals in the room. “Do you mind putting the new vases up? I have to load these into the car and.. Get the other ones for the rest of the home.” Alee grabbed the last ornate vase, flashing a small smile at Mieran who quickly nodded.
The florist kissed his cheek on their way out the door and he couldn't help his smile. Most of the flowers he used were white, with the exception of small primroses scattered throughout the bouquet as filler. Eternal love.. Mieran's expression softened as he put the bouquet on the pedestal in front of him.
Meanwhile Alee sped out of the room, hell bent on getting his vases back. He stopped short of running into Lumio's chest, the mortician steading him and the vases so nothing or nobody would fall. Their hands were warm on his shoulders.
“Careful, fox.”
Lumio's hands slid down his arms before letting him go. “Thanks, Lumio. In a bit of a situation right now, two weddings and a funeral. Just my luck, right?” The florist smiled and shook his head at them. Busy, he was very busy.
“I get it. I do have a question though~” The mortician smirked when Alee raised an eyebrow, waiting for their question. “You and your… Friend.” Lumio did quotations around the word. They didn't need to actually ask their question, Alee perfectly understood their insinuation.
“Yes.”
“Too bad, he really caught my eye.”
And as if on cue, their eyes glinted slightly, differently. The crisp blue colour remained but the rest of their eyes twisted and changed, diamondlike. But only for a moment.
But it wasn't their eyes he was focused on. It was something else entirely. An ugly feeling in the pit of his stomach, rising up and leaving a bad taste in his mouth. His heart clenched, almost uncomfortably so. Why did that upset him? He couldn't tell, he hated that he couldn't tell.
“He's in the chapel, feel free to talk to him.”
Alee didn't stay to wait and hear anything else from them. His heart pounded in his ears, and it hurt, like it was being squeezed and crushed. In the crisp autumn air he felt slightly better, but not enough. He hated the feeling in his chest, tried to ignore it as he put the vases in the trailer. If he ignored it, it'd go away, that was all he could tell himself.
He ran a hand through his messy hair, strands of black and early white falling over his fingers. With the vases situated, he grabbed more of the remaining new ones, pulling them out of the trailer. He had work to do, he couldn't think about it. The uncomfortable feeling.
A soft click behind him and he turned quickly. “Umbra.” Alee exhaled. It gestured to the vases in his hand and he held them out to it. Umbrastella took the vases in its arms, pivoting towards the building. But it stopped before moving around, turning its head to curiously look at the florist.
“Don't give me that look, he's your son.”
Umbrastella tilted its head the other way, blinking slowly. Alee leaned into the trailer, grabbing the last of the new vases. And when he turned back towards the house, the older mortician was gone. The florist sighed for what seemed like the tenth time in five minutes. He was almost done, at least. Almost finished.
Alee headed back inside, noting Umbrastella had placed the vases on the entrance pedestals. That just left the hallway and family room. He quietly moved through the home, hearing the nearby chatter, but he ignored it. He wanted to get back to his shop really.
He finished with the vases and returned to the entrance of the chapel, poking his head into the room. For a moment his disguise faltered, the magic weakened, his eyes a reddish hue. Lumio stood near the raised bier, a hand on Mieran's forearm as they spoke to one another. Mieran seemed invested in the conversation, Alee assumed by his body language.
That feeling again. He hated that, the jealousy. But, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he focused once more on the illusory magic hiding his features. He wasn't sure who he was jealous of. Was he jealous that someone liked Mieran? Was he jealous that Lumio didn't like him? He couldn't tell, he couldn't differentiate. He wet his lips, sucked in some air, exhaled.
“Mieran. I have to return to the store. Ready?”
“Yeah! Just a second, Alee.”
Mm.
“I'll be in the car.”
Alee quickly left the room, his chest squeezed, it hurt. Was it truly the latter? Was he truly so selfish as to want both their attention? Was he truly so selfish? He had Mieran, Mieran loved him. Well, he assumed so.. They hadn't gotten there yet. The trailer closed with a slam and he wondered when he managed to get outside and back to his car. He locked the trailer and entered his car to wait.
The passenger side opened and Mieran slid into the seat. “Well they were very nice.” He shut the door behind him, then he pulled his seat belt on. Alee bit the inside of his cheek as he turned the key in the ignition. “Are you alright, babe?” Mieran's hand slid over his on the clutch, touching his white knuckles, prompting him to loosen his grip.
“Huh?” He pulled his hand away out of instinct. “Yeah, sorry. I'm fine. Just lost in thought.” Alee pulled off, following the curved driveway.
“You're sure?”
“Mhm. What did you two get to talking about?”
“Your forearm tattoo, actually. I told him I designed and inked it.”
Alee listened to Mieran talk about his conversation with Lumio, the art of tattooing, art in general. He kept his eyes on the road, hands on the wheel.
“He said he liked you.”
“Huh?”
Alee nodded.
“Oh.. Well..” Mieran seemed a little bashful. “I actually thought he was into you.”
“Really?”
“Yeah I mean he talked you up a lot even though he knew we're already together. Seemed very…” Mieran exhaled a small laugh. “Puppy lovelike? It was pretty cute.”
Mieran turned his head, looking at Alee as he drove, the soft sounds on the radio he didn't pay attention to. He recognized the way Alee's brow furrowed, his jaw clenched. His expression softened at theirs.
“You like them.”
“I've just known them a long time.”
“You can like them, you know. I don't mind.”
Alee's eyes flicked to the side, to look at Mieran. Brown eyes flickered red, he turned his attention back to the road. They didn't respond to him, and he reached out hand resting on Alee's knee, reassuring.
“I love you.”
The car stuttered as his foot lightened on the gas, his head snapping to Mieran's pleased expression. “Don't crash over it..” He squeezed their knee, gently butting his head against Alee's shoulder.
“I- sorry.. I love you too.”
Mieran smiled and sat up straight once more. “Then I don't mind. I already told him to go for it anyways.” The car stuttered again. “Wow, you're predictable.”
“Shut it!”
Mieran snickered at him.
The rest of the afternoon went without a hitch, Alee felt far more reassured. But also nervous, he didn't know if what Mieran thought was actually the truth, or if that was how the conversation had actually happened. He could only overthink it as he crouched down, watching the herbs he grew in the greenhouse within his store. He understood plants much better than people. Especially extraordinary people like Mieran and Lumio.
His fingers brushed against the perky green leaves. He sighed, sitting on the ground beside the plants. Another soft exhale. His phone vibrated in his jacket pocket and he groaned, falling back and laying on the paving stones that lined the room. The florist pulled his phone from his pocket, squinting against the overhead lights.
Alee sat up when he noticed who had sent the text, eyes wide, his ears twitched. Lumio. Coffee? It occurred to him he didn't even know if the mortician liked coffee. But he agreed, if they were offering, coffee sounded nice. He suggested the coffee shop nearby, though began to reconsider when he realised how that might look to the staff there.. He always brought Mieran.
No, no he'd bring Lumio somewhere else. Tomorrow, according to the next text from them. Tomorrow. He laid back against the floor. His heart raced in his chest, he was excited. Giddy. He felt the same way he felt whenever he asked Mieran out for a date. Was this a date? He didn't know, he had to tell Mieran though. He'd snag the mortician for both of them! Oh, he felt so embarrassing.
He paced in front of the small restaurant, checking his phone for the seventh time in just as many minutes. Lumio was late, but then Alee had also been early. He chewed the inside of his cheek.
“Sorry-”
“Ah!”
“I'm late..  Jumpy in the presence of death are we?”
Alee turned around, sliding his phone into his pocket as his eyes landed on Lumio. More casually dressed than they usually were, white blouse with flowy sleeves, a corset, jeans. Lumio smiled at him and he quickly averted his gaze.
“Don't worry about it. Lunch?”
Lumio stepped past him, moving to the door and pulling it open for him. “Thank you.” Alee bowed his head politely and quickly moved into the restaurant, Lumio following closely behind him. Alee quietly spoke to the waiter who nodded and grabbed two menus, leading them further into the restaurant.
“I didn't know you liked Italian.”
“There are a lot of things you don't know about me, Lumio.”
Lumio sat down, thanking the waiter as they took the menu. “That's true.” They conceded. Alee slid into the booth across from them, taking the menu as well. Only to pause, Lumio raised an eyebrow at him.
“Shit- I forgot something.” He stood with a sigh, placing the menu on the table. “Spiced maple manhattan please, he'll know what it means.” The waiter nodded and penned something down. “I'll be right back, I'm so sorry.”
Lumio could only watch as the man rushed out of the restaurant. He shrugged slightly, smiling at the waiter and placing his own drink order. He opened the menu as the man walked away with his notepad, but he instead leaned back, looking around the small restaurant. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday afternoon. Only a few patrons. They furrowed their brow, that was strange.
But they couldn't give it much more thought, Alee returned, setting a dark red vase on the table in front of him. A black bow wrapped around the pretty glass. Several flowers were tucked into it, neatly arranged. It was so.. Vibrant. Unlike the ones he often brought to the funeral home. Their eyes lit up, pulling the bouquet closer to him.
“Do you know what it means?” He asked as he sat back down.
“You used ambrosia as the filler. That means love is reciprocated.” Lumio looked up at him. “That was as far as I got on the plant symbolism list before I got bored. I don't know how you remember all those.”
Alee laughed, covering his mouth when some patrons turned to look at them. “You always were so honest..” He dropped his hand. “These ones are solid purple carnations. In general carnations mean fascination, but these ones represent whimsy. Being solid, they're also affirmative.” He then pointed at another flower.
“And these are purple orchids, respect and admiration. Then pink orchids for happiness. And lastly these ones are pansies. They mean you occupy my thoughts.” Alee couldn't help his cheeks getting pink as he explained the floral meanings. His eyes briefly met Lumio's.
Lumio reached across the table, resting their hand on top of his. “Thank you.” His hand was warm against Alee's much colder skin. “You've occupied my thoughts for a while now.” They smirked as they watched his face light up bright red. “I really thought I missed out on you when you told me about Mieran accepting your crush..”
“And yet he was the one who told you to ask me out.”
“Thankfully. He is cute though, you have good taste.”
Alee rolled his eyes, interlacing his fingers with theirs. “Yeah well I'm wooing you for the both of us.”
“Oh?” Lumio raised a brow, thumb rubbing Alee’s knuckles. “Aw you two want to share me? What an honour~” Their tone was teasing but Alee’s cheeks only got redder.
Alee opened the menu with his free hand, eyes gazing at the menu even though he knew what he wanted. “We'll let you consider it, but if you're interested.. It's something we're willing to try out.” Alee all but mumbled.
“Let me wine and dine you first and then we'll talk about it.”
“Flirt..”
Before Lumio could respond, somebody that wasn't their waiter approached the table, setting their drinks down. Alee seemed to light up when he saw the man in question.
“Ah, hi, Cirino. Cirino Agosti, owner of this lovely place. Lumio D’Stella.”
“Oh the mortician! Nice to meet you. Alee is my highest paying customer. What can I get you two today?”

a travel sized spell book. he knows his usual spells by heart, but some reference can't hurt, right?
keys, wallet, that stuff.
hand sanitizer. you'll never catch him without it. freak /lh.
𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 〜 what was one of your oc’s favorite tv shows/movies as a child? do they still enjoy it now?
okay okay projection time but. the princess diaries. xe LOVED it and STILL LOVES IT to this day. knows the dialogue and shit. you know. like a Normal Person™ would.
𝘄𝗼𝗼 𝘄𝗼𝗼 〜 what’s their relationship like with their parent(s)/guardian(s)?
what's this cocktail's name lsbdlsbsk it's uh. not great! it was already a bit wonky, what with his career choices and whatnot (since he's wanted to be a bartender since he was 16 y/o), and then he found out that they lied to him about the nature of his existence for his whole life, which, uh... yeah. they still "care" for him, but they think they have a relationship with him that's simply... not there. the mixtios believe vesper is eventually going to crawl back to them. and he won't.
𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮 〜 does your oc have any disorders or disabilities?
catboy /j. they have adhd though. bc of course.
𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮 〜 who are some of your oc’s best friends?
QUINN ATRUM MIERAN ATRUM APPRENTICE REAPER OF CHALKED PIGMENT THE SCHOLAR- *i am shot with a tranquilizer dart* but. um. yeah! ves and quinn (and later on, ves and mieran) are best friends! they care for each other a lot! and xe's also friends with lumio and heath. hasn't met mayra or nuberu yet but they'd probably be instant besties as well.
𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 〜 describe your oc’s personality
easy question /s. ahem.
"Vesper Mixtio comes across as easygoing, charming, and silver tongued. Flirtatious, but not a flatterer, he knows his ways with words. And yet, he's quite closed off to those who have not earned his trust, never letting too much slip, using his drinks and magic to escape if necessary."
is the dainsleif-esque paragraph good?
𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗿𝗱 〜 has your oc ever made any choices they regret?
not caring more for quinn before his death. their abilities were telling them that the scholar was running out of time, and yet, they couldn't take advantage of this. even now that they have him back in the form of mieran, they regret not letting him know how much they truly cared for him.
𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 〜 post some images or a moodboard that fit your oc’s aesthetic
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
vesper moodboard here u go~
𝗱𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮 〜 post a song or a lyric that fits your oc
why just a song when it could be his entire playlist, hm? hehe
𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗶 〜 does your oc’s name or design reference anything? i.e. music, movies, etc.
he's literally named after the drink vesper lmao. i can't go fully into detail w his design (mainly bc it's not fully done yet), but one thing is that he got his heterochromia alongside his cat features, bc it's very common in cats !!
𝗺𝗼𝗷𝗶𝘁𝗼 〜 does your oc have any tattoos and/or piercings? if so, what are they? if not, do they want any?
he has ear piercings (not visible in the picrew but like. trust me bro.), and sometimes he'll wear a lipring for the fun of it (again, i remind you, he can do illusory magic). he doesn't have any tattoos, but he wouldn't mind getting some.
𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗶 〜 is your oc a smoker? (tobacco, cannabis, etc.) if so, do they plan on quitting?
not really!! because of their job as a "renowned" merc, vesper is v wary of stuff like smoking and drinking, they're not out here painting even more targets on their back by getting intoxicated, y'know?
𝗺𝗶𝗺𝗼𝘀𝗮 〜 has your oc ever committed any crimes? if so, what did they do? if not, what would they be most likely to commit?
he's a merc. he kills people.
𝘁𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝘀𝘂𝗻𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 〜 what kind of hobbies does your oc enjoy? is there anything they’ve always wanted to do but never had the time/resources to try?
xe's... *sigh* a gamer. action games are xyr shit. other than that, studying spellcasting and mixology (not simultaneously) are also things xe enjoys. xe's always wanted to try art, but could never afford to.
𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗶𝗶 〜 does your oc speak any other language(s)? if they didn’t learn to speak the language(s) when they were growing up, when and why did they learn it?
vesper's first language is english, but his second language is spanish! buenos aires spanish, to be more specific, since that's where his mother comes from. he's fluent in both languages, and has a STRONG GBA (gran buenos aires) accent when speaking spanish.
𝗰𝘂𝗯𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗲 〜 if your oc wears any perfume/cologne, what’s their favorite?
they make their own perfume !! the one they wear most often is a mixture of lavender and mint. comfy.
𝗰𝗮𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮 〜 what does your oc’s voice sound like?
he's mostly calm when speaking. soft-spoken, but not hushed. he tends to speak in his medium to lower register, and will sometimes slip in cat noises in his words without realizing.
𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘆 〜 what does your oc consider to be their best feature? alternatively, what’s something they’re most self conscious about?
they're most confident in their mixing skills. they've been at it for almost six years now, they make really good drinks, they look hot as fuck when doing so, and by god are they aware of all of these things.
they're mostly insecure about... their lack of genuine connections, in a way. they notice that they don't have that many close ones, people that would care if they were gone one day, and it makes them... generally insecure. they can't figure out why people who do get to know them won't ever stay. one of the reasons they're so flirty and smooth, i suppose.
𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗻 〜 what kind of people does your oc hate the most?
people that don't hold themselves accountable for their actions. it's one of the reasons he dislikes the atrum clan (and, by proxy, disliked quinn). "if you personally can't own up to what you've done, don't fucking do it. don't use excuses, don't blame it on someone else, if you're in a situation where you can assume responsibility, then do so." is his mentality.

Disclaimer: I do not own Fate/Stay Night, Or any subsequent pieces of fiction there in. This is purely a fictional work by an amateur Fanfiction Author.
Fate/Stay Night: Shattered Destinys
Chapter 0: History doesn’t repeat, it merely rhymes
Shirou’s eyes snapped open, his hand clutching at his heart, breath labored from the nightmare he had escaped.
He was there again, the hell that had ruined and changed him, a Crucible for the man he’d become. That was the norm, he’d never allow himself to forget that night, he didn’t deserve to be saved from it.
What most certainly wasn’t normal was the man shadowing him. Like a shadow cloaked in darkness, nothing distinguishing him from any other. The man stepped toward him, grasping his arm.
“Hey, that’s hell you're walking into”
The most memorable part of his dream. Made all the strangers by the fact it was the last thing he heard.
_____________________________________________________
“Mhmm damnit, 5 more minutes….”
The alarm didn’t take her advice to heart
Despite her best efforts, the alarm refused to cease its cacophony. It’s harsh ringing penetrating even the thickest blanket. Tohsaka rin was many things;
A first rate magus,
A genius in all but title,
And even a pretty good Bajiquan practitioner,
But never a morning person.
_______________________________________
“Kirei, how is it that a servant of god can justify atrocities against man?”
The king spoke jovially with his partner. In life, he would’ve probably preferred better than a fallen priest, but a contract was a contract, and no True king would ever renege on a promise
“I believe it was a great philosopher who once said…”
The dying child’s final breaths causing only a moment's pause in talk
“… that the only difference between Angels and Devils is often where one stands at the time”
_______________________________________
“You Vile Witch!”
She should have known this would be the outcome, even if he wasn’t a wretched excuse for a mage, no one likes their life being messed with by others.
“Caster, I order you by my command spell, Kill yourself!”
The red Stigmata shone bright as the mana was fully depleted. A smile grew across Atrum’s face, but soured when Medea’s did the same.
_______________________________________
“Sakura, we need to talk”
The hollow eyes of a girl who just wanted to be loved gazed into those of a man who wanted much the same.
“The war will begin soon, you’ll need to prepare for the summoning, grandfather says you should meet him in the cellar”
He visibly tensed whenever he spoke of Zouken, even if he never truly had been harmed by the Lich-patriarch of his family.
She began to disrobe, not like it wasn’t anything shinji hadn’t seen before, and it would be better for everyone if her good clothes weren’t ruined by the worms.
_______________________________________
Illiyasveil gazed onto the morning dew from on high, the windows of the Einzbern castle clear of morning frost.
“My Lady, we’ve found him”
Her smile twisted into a sickly grin, like a mad man who’d just escaped the asylum
“And what did the traitor name him? What did the bastard who killed mother call him?”
She spat the final words out, unladylike and Inpatient.
“His name is Shirou, Shirou Emiya”
And with that, her war had begun.
_______________________________________
Bazett Fraga Mcremitz, bearer of Fragaroich, Master Of Ireland’s child of light, A sealing designated magus of the association….
Complete fool.
Her servant stolen, her pride destroyed, her arm taken, her life…
“Those wounds are grievous”
It wasn’t Cú, it wasn’t that bastard kirei….
“arghh”
He lifted her up into his arms.
“Hold on, your not dying tonight”
She’d never been the religious type, but thanking god is appropriate when you’ve been saved by an angel.
_______________________________________
“I’m running out of patience, and time”
The old lich played with the catalyst, a white ceramic mask, stained with dried blood on both sides.
“Heheh”
The cellar door creaked open, the clack of shoes on cobblestone unmistakable. She was rather quick to come, perhaps in her own twisted way, she was beginning to enjoy these sessions.
Even if she failed him like the others, he’d have his backup.
_______________________________________
Soichiro Kuzuki.
He’d have to keep repeating it to himself or he could ruin his persona. A simple man, teach students, care for the shrine, shepherd Issei. Was it the ideal retirement, no, But it was better than a shallow grave.
The wet soil underfoot squelched with every foot step, his path deviated every night, learning the land, knowing paths, finding places to hide if need be.
And on this night, finding a stranger. Bloody and beaten, she’d probably be dead within the hour, several severe external wounds and more than likely more internal injuries.
Leave her, she’s already gone
Complications get you killed
Yes, she’s more trouble than she’s worth.
But then again….
All people are opportunities waiting to happen
Maybe I’m going soft
He let out an inaudible sigh
“Those Wounds are grievous”
She spat blood onto his suit
He’d made up his mind
“Hold on, your not dying tonight”
_______________________________________
He was Furious, she’s not even blood and he chose her. Who the hell was she to take away his chance at the grail. A filthy whore who won the generic lottery in all aspects.
“I’ll show her and grandfather I can, she’s nothing but a Usurper, a stand in. She’s nothing more than a catalyst”
He’d prove it, to them and all the rest. The Matou, no, The Makiri weren’t out of this race yet.

Author's note.
I know this is a weird way of doing an intro chapter, but I’m still trying to get the hang of proper writing, I’m no Neoalfa or Coeur Al’Aran yet, so If I can’t out write them, I’ll at least make it interesting.
I wanted to do an intro of general characters who are going to be important, mostly excluding servants. I don’t know if I want to do an intro for servants, as they really shine when interacting with their respective masters and opponents.
As for the story going forward, as the title suggests, I’m trying to only use original source material (the OG visual novel and HAs visual novel along with the various anime and manga) but doing something along the lines of a “what if masters and servants flipped and a couple plot points caused a butterfly effect?” So while it’s going to in parts be treading over some of the same stuff, it’s going to be a bit different in a bunch of ways.
Feel free to suggest ideas or critic, I’d much rather hear hurtful criticism than disappoint people that care.

What's wrong with naming dinosaurs after pop culture and such?
Well one obvious reason is that you could end up with, as someone mentioned in the comments of the post, a dracorex situation, where if you name an animal after a piece of media, if that franchise becomes problematic, this animal is forever stuck with that stigma on it.
Furthermore, it’s not really like easter eggs in other media, where it’s like, people who like that franchise will go “haha i get that reference” and others won’t care, in this case, you’re actively pushing away some people who don’t like whatever franchise you’re naming this animal after because, you know “oh well this is a cool animal but ugh it’s name is a reference to a shitty popular netflix series that i hate”, kind of kills the mood, y’know.
Let’s take a franchise i really enjoy, a popular, topical one, that’s not problematic (at least i think)
Let’s say i discover fragmentary remains of a mesozoic sauropsid of some kind, and i call it Mesavenator. atrum (Black Mesa Hunter.. I think, at least i tried) because Half Life is a very important game to me + it’s currently a meme with HLVRAI and so that animal, despite being so poorly understood, might get talked about a lot on the internet.
It’s good for me because at the moment i get big clout.
But, as classic and iconic as Half Life is, in a few years, that name isn’t gonna be cool anymore, and it’s just gonna end up being this weird reptile/archosaur/or such thing we have like 3 vertebra and a toe from that no one cares about and has a weird pop culture name slapped on it (look at the sonic gene for example, or the Pika).
And if more material shows up and it ends up being an incredible creature, then it’s just gonna feel like a shame that it doesn’t have a unique name that says something about the animal or it’s discovery, or just something out there and fun, rather than just “oh because black mesa is half life half life’s cool”.
I don’t mind names based off of iconic monsters as much as like, stuff that is popular or memey rn but will vanish in a few years (like GoT and Engame). For example i don’t think naming an animal, after, say, classic kaijus, is as bad as calling it indominus or something.
However as iconic as a pop culture reference could be, it still plays into yet another issue in my opinion, which is encouraging the idea of dinosaur = pop culture thing that a lot of the paleo community is trying to fight against.
Basically there is a lot of questions and issues and “what is ok or not ?” debate that come up with pop culture influencing the names of prehistoric animals, and imo we should just stick to unique names for them, unless that specific animal is Exceptionally lame and actually needs a push from a pop culture reference to be at least a little bit interesting.

Fate/EXTELLA ZERO Plot
Original text from http://www.typemoon.org/bbb/diary/log/201611.html
translation from: https://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/5875-The-BAMBOO-BROOM-DIARY-%28Nasu-and-Takeuchi-blog%29?p=2540101&viewfull=1#post2540101
Fate/EXTRA/EXTELLA Character Outline ※ There's only one route, so Nero takes the role of saving, guiding, and helping Hakuno grow. Don't forget that this is a boy-meets-girl story. ・ Kishinami Hakuno (Protagonist) The archetypal protagonist who wakes up in SE.RA.PH to find himself caught up as a participant in the Holy Grail War. He has memories of life (daily school life), but no other memories. His abilities are extremely mediocre as a wizard. Fortunately, he has a personality that never gives up, holds no grudges, and always tries to do the right thing. Miraculously, he attains victory. In short, he's someone who can't quit. →→ First Spoiler (revealed in the middle and later half of the story) His identity is the same as that of the NPCs on campus, merely "recreated data from past humans." (It is less expensive for the Moon Cell to model NPCs after past humans, but the Moon Cell fundamentally cannot understand humans (intelligent life forms)) He gained a self and passed the preliminary round as a human, so he was registered as a Master. →→ Second Spoiler (revealed at the end of the story) The human he was recreated from is in cold sleep on Earth, neither alive nor dead. This is why the NPC managed to gain an ego and autonomy. (This has to do with where souls reside in TYPE-MOON, but that isn't explained in this story.) ・ Saber (Nero) The Servant who was summoned in response to Hakuno's call. (Summoning details are in Material, under Saber's entry.) A female knight who acts as she pleases and whole-heartedly glorifies life. Her speech and attitude are pompous, but at her core, she respects all that is beautiful. She appears condescending, but actually reacts to most things with a "wow, that's amazing. How impressive! But I won't lose, either!" attitude. Her physical abilities are below average for a Servant, but her Skill "Imperial Privilege" is powerful. A true genius displays her talents in all areas. Red Saber's strength can be considered her ability to learn anything that is possible through human levels of effort or talent. Saber is reluctant to reveal her true name. It is not because she wishes to conceal her identity as the infamous tyrant Nero, but because she is afraid that Hakuno will dislike or be disappointed with her if he knows her name. During the fifth round, she moves past this hesitation and reveals it herself. ・ Girl Classmate (Female Protagonist) A girl who occasionally crosses paths with Hakuno, leaving him a casual word of advice. She's always eating a noodle sandwich. She wasn't in the PSP version, so the audience would misread her as "a new heroine!?" →→ Spoiler (Round 7) The same entity as Hakuno. Personnel data: a NPC created by SE.RA.PH, modeled after Kishinami Hakuno. However, she was configured as a female due to overlapping identity. She gained an ego in connection with the same event for Hakuno, and advanced as a Master. (※ She didn't gain a soul. Hakuno gained a soul, and the aftermath of this awakened her ego.) Because her data was modified further after recreation, she quickly becomes aware that she is not a legitimate being. As a degraded copy, she cannot withstand the installation of an ego (soul), so she is destined to disintegrate. (※ Even if she wins the seventh round, she will then disappear. Only Archer deduces this.) ・Archer (Nameless) The Female Protagonist's Servant. He is a Servant summoned to a Master without a soul, so his summoning circumstances are also irregular. Half of his body is crumbling and burned. Knowing the Female Protagonist's situation, he helps her fight to the bitter end. → Every time Hakuno is alone and in a pinch, Archer saves him. As for why he does this, if Hakuno dies, so does the female protagonist. Archer is trying to give his Master a conclusion where she doesn't lose until the very end, and accepts her end even though she couldn't survive. →→ Archer is partially destroyed, so Nero and Tamamo don't recognize him in the world of EXTELLA. Also, the Nameless that appears in EXTELLA comes from a world where the Female Protagonist won. ・ Rin & Rani Fewer appearances than in the PSP version, but their position is unchanged. ・ Leo The heir to the Western European Conglomerate. A perfect prince. The strongest foe in the PSP version. His role is the same in the PSP version, but this time he is defeated in the sixth round. →→ Foreshadowing Out of curiosity, Leo talks to Kishinami Hakuno many times, but several of the conversations are inconsistent. "Oh, didn't we talk about this before?" "Yes, I'm interested in you, too." He says things like that, because he's interacted with the Female Protagonist in the same way. Leo loses to the Female Protagonist in the sixth round, so this time, he realizes that the Female Protagonist has the potential to defeat him. ・ Saber (Gawain) Leo's Servant. Unchanged from the PSP version. ・ Julius Leo's older brother. An assassin who handles the dirty work. On Earth, he doesn't have much time left to live. He eliminates Leo's enemies without regard for his own survival. His position is unchanged from the PSP version. He is openly hostile to Hakuno, and is Hakuno's greatest rival. Julius' special animosity towards Hakuno (and the Female Protagonist) is because Hakuno is the same type of person as Julius. On a deeply subconscious level, Julius rejects the notion that a normal person, possessing nothing and chosen by nobody, could rise to become Leo's greatest enemy. It also stems from Julius' irritation that he was unable to do the same. ・ Assassin (Li Shuwen) Julius' Servant. Position is unchanged from the PSP version. ・ Matou Shinji ・ Rider (Drake) The opponent in the first round, which has the theme of fighting a friend. Unchanged from the PSP version. ・ Atrum The opponent in the fourth round. His Servant is Caster (Tamamo no Mae). A new Master for the EXTRA storyline that was reorganized for EXTELLA. A user of sacrificial magic that kills and creates life. Acquainted with Leo on Earth. In the world of EXTRA where fossil fuel resources have run dry, he lacks the cockiness and carelessness of his Fate/stay night counterpart. However, his basic personality is the same. A self-proclaimed feminist, but it's obvious in reality that he views women only as tools. He speaks respectfully to Caster, but also looks down on her. After the Moratorium of Round 4, he sends Caster to seduce Hakuno (to gain his sympathy). "You don't need win the boy over. As long as you can ensnare him, it'll be a windfall for us." "Me? I have things to do. Dirty jobs are a Servant's duty, right?" Casko wearily follows his order, replying "By your command." After dispatching Casko, Atrum accesses a proprietary hidden circuit to Earth to find data on Kishinami Hakuno, but fails to turn up anything. This troubles him. After Atrum loses to Hakuno in their duel, Atrum uses Caster as a scapegoat to avoid the destruction of his own body, and flees. After he escapes from the firewall, he is dealt with by Julius or the Moon Cell. ・ Caster (Tamamo no Mae) Appears as Atrum's Servant. From the start, she is aware that she is expendable to Atrum, but she does not resist fulfilling their pact. (Of course, if Atrum were to sever their contract, it would be a different story.) When she comes to Hakuno on Atrum's orders to seduce him, Hakuno asks, "...Umm, I don't understand why you're doing this," which confuses her. Fox: "I suppose, in short, that my Master's naive strategy is to have me drown you in my charms and end you in your sleep. Failing that, sympathy might still move you to carelessness during your final duel..." Having heard Casko's circumstances and taking issue with them, Hakuno becomes serious. Hakuno: "Have a seat, Caster." Hakuno kneels across from Caster. Casko does the same. Hakuno begins to give her a stern lecture out of concern for her well-being. This is the first event that leads to Caster falling in love. After their duel, Casko burns away, as Atrum's scapegoat. The protagonist then uses his Command Spell to try and save her. Casko is restored, without a scratch. "Ah, I'm finally free!" The way she easily withstands the assault of the firewall is similar to Arcueid's scene. Afterwards, she cooperates with Hakuno as his (self-declared) true Servant. Nero: "Damn you -- who let this raccoon- no, this fox into our den!?" Fox: "That's obvious. As if the curse of a third-rate Master could roast me!" ・ Dan ・ Archer (Robin) The opponent in the second round, which has the theme of defeating one's senior and mentor in life. Position is unchanged from the PSP version. ・ Twice Pieceman The final Master who awaits Hakuno in front of the Moon Cell's core, after the seventh round. Position is unchanged from the PSP version. However, to make his appearance less sudden, he would appear frequently throughout the story. ※ He could also interact with the Female Protagonist instead of Hakuno. PART II Continuing on... ◆ ■ Reorganization ※ This is basically  meant to be a shorter version of the plot, so it only contains the essentials. Unfortunately, I have to cut the excess fat. ※ That said, in the end this is a reorganization of the Nero route. There are differences from the Tamamo no Mae and Nameless routes. For example, in the Tamamo route, the event that occurs on the path to the core is completely opposite. ・ Awakening ~ Preliminary Round ~ Servant Summoning From the top... "A girl falls on the water's surface, lying face up. It's the Female Protagonist before she disappears, after losing to Hakuno in the sixth round." This scene would be interesting to include. The audience would be misled to believe she was someone who died in the preliminaries, but the truth would be revealed in after the sixth round. ※ This is just meant to be a surprise scene, without any bearing on the story. It doesn't have to be included. The protagonist notices the incongruity in school life, escapes from the Inside of the World (the Inside of the Texture), fights a doll, and summons a Servant. Unchanged from the introduction to the PSP version. ・ Round 1, Beginning Round 1 begins while the mood is still carefree, while explaining SE.RA.PH., the Moon Cell, the Holy Grail War, and the state of Earth. The atmosphere of Round 1 is "this is a game," "this is a proxy war," and "this feels like a game." The opponent in the first round is announced. Hakuno faces Shinji. → In the PSP version, the opponent in each round was announced on a bulletin board, but if we have the budget, I'd like to make it more flashy this time. We could show the audience the tournament brackets and where each character is. Also, the Masters can casually face off in in the halls, and we can also have Casko smugly appear. ・ Round 1, Conclusion Events from the competition against Shinji, to the elevator ride, until the final duel. Demonstrates that this isn't a game, but rather a ruthless battle for survival. Drake: "Don't you all realize that you were dead as soon as you got here?" They were all a great herd of fools lured in by the colorful promise that their wishes would be granted. Of course, some were staking their lives on the competition, but the majority of them had been deceived. Even Hakuno is troubled. "What reason and wish do I have for fighting in this war for survival?" →→ Point It left a bad taste in his mouth to join this tournament with neither convictions nor goals, and fight his own friend. It struck him that unmindful murder and innocent fights to the death → Real death. Shinji: "I thought it just granted wishes! Why do I have to die!?" Drake: "Look, that's just what it means to live. All people are unaware that they trample on the wishes of others." ・ Round 2 The heartbroken protagonist fights Dan, the old soldier. The old man who fights with regrets about his life, and the Heroic Spirit Robin who died in regret. ・ Round 3 Round 3 is unchanged from the PSP version. After Hakuno wins, his next opponents Atrum and Casko appear to put on haughty airs. "You face us next, oh ho ho." ・ Round 4 Atrum is a character related to both Leo and Earth, so he serves the supporting but important role of explaining much of the setting, such as the state of Earth, and how it ended in the 2030s. Atrum affects goodwill, taking the "you should lose, so that I can live to save the world" approach to sway Hakuno's resolve. Hakuno, who has no identity, hesitates. However, he overcomes Atrum's intimidation by realizing that although Atrum's words are true, Atrum himself is not. They fight as Masters. As a result of the duel against Atrum, Casko decides to help Hakuno while avoiding detection by the Moon Cell. She becomes a useful and helpful friend. Of course, she schemes to defeat Nero and take her place as the main Servant, given an opening. Nero is aware of this, naturally. Casko and Nero share a friendly, combative relationship. →Their relationship is changed from "heroines of different worlds" to "heroines in the same world." ・ Round 5 Hakuno fights Julius in the fifth round. Nero is rendered unable to fight by Assassin's Noble Phantasm. With Casko's assistance, Hakuno challenges Julius and Assassin on his own. Thanks to Hakuno's efforts, Nero recovers, and the story proceeds as it does in the latter half ot the PSP version. After Nero recovers, she tells Hakuno her true name. Her Noble Phantasm is finally unsealed. ・ Missing Chapter This is when CCC takes place. Casko remembers all of it. Nero only remembers, "Elizabeth is my lifelong rival. But which round did we fight in?" ・ Round 6 ~ early Round 7 Rin and Rani are defeated in round 6, and say their farewells. Hakuno anticipates a showdown with Leo next... but Leo is reported to have been defeated. Leo has fallen, but the name of the Master who proceeded to round 7 is hidden by jamming, and the Master is nowhere to be found. Casko and Saber attempt to investigate, but they are unable to either locate the Master or remove the mosaic obscuring its name. In a dramatic development, they realize, "what if they aren't hiding? What if their name was always this way to begin with?" They proceed on the assumption that their next opponent is nameless. They report this irregularity to the priest, but the priest answers, "No. In a sense, your next battle is fair." Hakuno enters the elevator, not knowing who his next foe will be. No one is next to him. When he arrives at the arena, it's a wasteland resembling the Grand Canyon. Hakuno and the Female Protagonist face off, separated by a valley. The enemy Master was his classmate. "Ah, I knew it," Hakuno says in understanding. The girl: "Let's begin, Archer. This is my final fight." Archer appears in response to her order, facing Nero. The girl dispels the texture concealing her true face. There she stands, aloof, her hair blowing in the wind. For a moment, the story switches to the girl's perspective. It's the story of a girl who suddenly woke up like Hakuno did, and strove to move forward in spite of her lack of self and her impending collapse. The Female Protagonist's fight against Leo is the same as Round 7 of the PSP version. → Even though it was against the Female Protagonist, Leo still lost to "Kishinami Hakuno." Round 7 concludes. Archer disappears along with the girl. The Male Protagonist inherits the girl's memories and details of her fight with Leo as his own. ・ End of Moratorium ~ On the way to the core While traveling the path to the core of the Moon Cell, Hakuno is attacked by a debugging program. Its target is Casko, not Hakuno. The Moon Cell is enraged that a Servant which should have been defeated is still intact. → Hakuno parts ways with Casko. The tone is similar to parting with Casko in the CCC Route of CCC. The debugging is powerful enough to actually erase her in CCC, but the debugging is light in this case, so Casko won't disappear. Casko schemes to capture the Protagonist's heart and affections by risking her life (which is in no actual danger) in a heart-rending farewell, after sharing a tender scene with him. Nero sees right through it. "Come back out here!" "I'll beeeeee baaaaaaaack!" "She'll live," remarks Hakuno, as he dons his sunglasses. Hakuno and Saber arrive at the Moon Cell's core. There, they face Twice. ・ Moon Cell Core ~ Savior Hakuno confronts Twice. Twice gives a long speech. ※ The events here are described in the final entry of the Material glossary. His thoughts breaking down, Hakuno has a showdown with Twice. T: "No Servant can reach me. After all, heroes are little more than flowers that bloom in each age. He who saves the world. My answer is he who saves humanity." The Servant Savior appears. The duel against Twice becomes a reflection on human history in the Common Era. "All this consumption and bloodshed, and this is the conclusion we reach?" laments Twice solemnly. "So what!?" roar Nero and Hakuno in defiance. Twice is correct. Humanity is not. Yet, the final role and responsibility to decide and enforce what is right belongs to the people living in the current era. It would be even more unacceptable to have it decreed by a ghost from the past. After Twice is defeated, the ending of the PSP version proceeds to the Saber Route ending of CCC, and the story feels like it connects to EXTELLA. It leads to a new beginning that collects all of the previous components.

On Salem’s Immortality.
She is not invulnerable. Prior to becoming grimm, she wasn’t ageless or immune to sickness, either. Strictly speaking, she doesn’t have to breathe, or eat, or sleep—it won’t kill her to go without—but she does still suffer the physiological toll of suffocation, starvation, and sleep deprivation.
It’s just that Salem can’t die.
Her ascension altered the natural rhythm of her physiological needs but did not eliminate them. Nowadays, she more often sleeps for a solid month or two in the wintertime and she can go a few weeks without food or water before she really starts to feel it, although she still finds it uncomfortable not to eat and drink daily. She also—like all grimm—needs aura and atrum to stay healthy, although unlike most grimm she does not need to harvest aura from other beings because she has her own.
Being grimm additionally gives her a few physical quirks: her flesh cannot be frozen solid or boiled (although she can burn); if she doesn’t move for a long period, her flesh softens (although her aura prevents her from fully liquifying the way an ordinary grimm would, she just ends up the consistency of rotting fruit); and she is effectively immune to intense pressure if it is built up gradually (meaning, if she were hit by a train she would explode but if she sank herself to the bottom of the sea, she could just roam around on the ocean floor).
She… does not take care of herself particularly well. Physical discomfort and pain do not remotely faze her anymore and deathlessness insulates her from the consequences of not attending to her physiological needs; Salem often simply does not notice feelings of hunger, thirst, or tiredness until they become severe, and when such feelings do register she seldom does more than the bare minimum to ameliorate them.
This asceticism has a significant impact on her moods; the longer she foregoes these things the more tense and irritable she becomes.
Her regeneration is a conscious affair: when her inner circle describe it as Salem “putting herself back together,” that isn’t a figure of speech. That is just how it works. (Her ability to consciously reassemble her body even if her brain is destroyed—and function without her head in general, for that matter—is a grimm thing that merits its own post.)
Short of complete annihilation of her physical body, there is no degree of damage that can be done to her that she can’t repair in mere seconds (she has had a lot of practice), but in the event someone is really determined to kill her she likes to… play dead for random intervals, both to give herself a break and because it establishes a cycle of tentative hope and spiking despair that breaks down resolve more thoroughly than simply outlasting her opponents.
The best way to incapacitate her is with poisons that inhibit conscious control of aura, i.e. most potent neurotoxins. These do affect her and severely degrade her regenerative capability until the toxins naturally break down, so dosing her with them before pulping her can put her down for relatively long periods.

Was thinking about how there are just certain Servants that Waver meshes well with from the beginning and more than likely won’t bristle toward, depending on who they are, their demeanor, and how he views them. Iskandar, which is a given, in any timeline  — post!F/Z, F.GO, any AU  — he’s going to have some form of attachment and respect toward him. Then people like Holmes, Romani, and Gray, they all differ in their own way, but he would get along well with them due to their personalities, and in Holmes’ case, he already has an opinion of him based upon not what he’s seen but from what he’s read in books. He’s a fan of Arthur Conan Doyle’s works and takes inspiration from Holmes’ detective work. So, whether he truly is like what he is written as, he’s going to have a sense of admiration and respect toward him.
Then characters like Romani, canonly in f.go during his own interlude he already speaks well of Romani when he isn’t around and praises how he’s a hard worker. They even banter during Accel Zero which is nice to see since usually Waver is this serious sort of person and gets angry and frustrated easily while someone like Romani doesn’t test his patience as much. There are just certain character that could tease him and get away with it. Depending on how long they have known each other (like Shi’s Ozy, for example), they can taunt him and he’s going to be grumpy about it, but it isn’t the same as someone he genuinely dislikes/doesn’t know. As for Gray, she’s his student. He cares for her so much, and he worries about her despite knowing she’s strong enough to be able to handle herself. I do believe he cares for as he would a daughter, but treats her as an apprentice while she supports him and can be honest with him when he needs it most.
Characters that are very easy to read by theirs actions or what is written about them seem very honest to Waver? In a way? If that makes sense??? He knows how to read genuine kindness and demeanor, and he can decipher it from someone that is only being nice to him in order to get something out of him. (Hishiri is a good example of the latter even though they do work well together.) I think that’s why he also draws attention from characters like Melvin, Atrum, Gilgamesh because they are very like... in your face, blunt, what you see is almost what you get until you get to know them better. There isn’t as much guess work in comparison to an overly friendly person. Waver prefers to deal with blunt and straightforward people than sugar coated nice nice individuals that might have something hidden in their sleeve.
