summary: you call your boyfriend to tell him that you’re going to a party and that he needs to meet you there.
Tumblr media
☆彡
~
“babeeee” you were always so happy to talk to your boyfriend. you always knew how he would pick up too. ‘hey lady’ or ‘good morning mama’ he always sounded so genuine, your heart fluttered with his words of affection.
“you’re coming with me tonight mm i forgot to tell ya though..” you knew you should have told him but you tried to play it off with a little laugh. “meet me at this party tonight okayyy”
“uhmm yeaahh okay, y/n-” you cut him off.
“and wear something bright! or colorful! anything fun really,, it’s a music festival! mkay! bye love you i’ll see ya later mwahhh!” you quickly hung up.
he’ll come up with something.
~
“zorooooo” you whine to your boyfriend, he was wearing his typical black get up but he accessorized with several glow sticks. not so colorful but he looked damn good always, and his efforts for being bright were kinda adorable.
“whatever” you quickly share a kiss with him. “you look cute though, let’s get inside, i have something for us to try.”
this island was know for its live music, so many beautiful visuals were displayed throughout the night sky. the dark clouds glowing so pretty as it took on all of the light pollution that came from the festival.
zoros hands held a tight grip with yours as you lead him to the entrance of the island party, the bass that ricocheted in your chest was getting more and more apparent the closer the two of you got. zoros eyes were glued to you, watching you carefully from behind. he thought you looked so beautiful, you were radiating light and happiness before him, looking so goddess-like.
<3
you’ve led your boyfriend to maybe the mid way mark of the party, you were still surrounded by the traffic of grouped up people, but it was still far less than what you saw at the entrance, there was actually some space to take a few breaths.
as soon as you found a brake in the sea of people, you pull zoro off to the side. the music was too loud to speak reagulary so you cupped your hand to speak in his ear. “baby, trafalgar law said he could give us molly.” you parted away from his ear to look at him and make sure he could hear you. he nodded his head, assuring you to continue speaking.
“do you wanna do it?” your words popped loudly in zoros ears with the heart-shaking bass that was surrounding your part of the world. excitement and curiosity filled his eyes, he nodded his head.
~
law was there, dressed in his also all black attire and messy raven hair, he was not wearing any glow sticks or colors. cocking his head to look at the both of you. he quickly looked back at his hands and played with his fingernails waiting for you to approach him. this time you followed your boyfriend, you felt more comfortable letting your man get the goods.
you had only once met law while he was ‘prescribing’ zoro something, that’s when you found out he was a dealer. you’ve talked about doing mdma with zoro before and was surprised when he said he was wanting to try it with you. saying something like, ‘it would be an eye opening experience’ and that he’d love to experience it with you. he also said it would be fun to fuck.
sex with zoro was rough, loving, passionate, and spontaneous. he always took you by surprise and knew just how to keep things going so that both of your needs were met, you found the way he compromised so sexy.
some nights zoro was aggressive, completely and utterly in control of you and your orgasms, stripping screams and whimpers from you left and right. and other nights you liked it soft, especially after a work out.
lazy sex always had you drooling. your achy muscles in combination with zoros fingers circling your sensitive cunt. you loved hearing your man’s needy moans as you fucked yourself on his cock as he laid back.
anything with him was ectacy. you didn’t believe there could be a way for things to feel better.
-
“hey—” zoro and law were conversing just a little bit before you saw them discreetly trade items, berries for mdma. quick and easy you parted ways from law, he was strange to you. zoro said he never really comes around but he’s there when you need him. you guess it’s just natural for guys to be so nonchalant like that.
as more time passes, people started to disperse more evenly. there was much more room to find an available seat. zoro pulled you to sit with him on a nearby bench. he pulls out the small bag law had given him, it contained two sea foam green tablets. cute he matches. you both swallow one tablet each along with a few sips from your water.
-
law said it would take an hour or two to feel anything but it hit so hard only thirty minutes in. you and zoro were standing in the back of one of the crowds, hugging the wall. it was way more spacious back here and allowed for the two of you to just be comfortable as the drug’s effects took over your system.
you were feeling so smiley and affectionate. your cheeks and jaw were getting sore from you constantly clenching your teeth together. you were also getting very hot, your body was on fire.
you lead zoro to a nearby stand to get some water to cool your burning bodies down and you hear him groan behind you. you turn to look to him, his eyes were black from how dilated his pupils were.
“baby. what’s wrong?”
zoro was visibly sweating, just small pearls of salty fluid that looked so pretty in your eyes. his eyebrows furrowed and his eyes were shut. his body was stiff and he growled again. “y/n, mm feels so weird, don’t wanna let go of you—” your touches felt orgasmic on his hot hands.
dopamine and serotonin levels were skyrocketing as the molly in your systems was transitioning to its peak. you understood what he meant, you were feeling touchy. seeing zoro is your state was mind boggling. his soft strands glowed green and his gold earrings glistened so bright, the details were so gorgeous. the scene looked like a studio ghibli animation.
you put your arms on your man to hold him close, your scorching bodies burned so well together. you felt so loved-up, so energized, so happy that he was here with you. zoro whined in your ear, you felt his rock hard cock stabbing at your hips, nothing felt real but it felt soo real at the same time.
zoro needed a taste. you looked so sickly sweet to him. your skin was vibrant and the way the sparkles in your hair twinkled sent blood rushing to his cock. it was pulsing with the tight constriction that wrapped around the base of his shaft and balls. he almost forgot about his fun surprise for you.
~
the two of you stumbled into a nearby supply tent, not much was inside except for conveniently placed med tables and 5-gallon water jugs. this was probably a medical tent for the paramedics to help people recover from heat stroke while they were partying in the summer sun, but for now it was your quickie spot. zoro was getting antsy, he needed something, your mouth, your hands, anything. you wanted him too, your eyes wondered everywhere on him, you were eating him up.
your hands shakily find their way to the opening of his pants, trying to keep a grip on reality. you eventually made it to his boxers. “fuck y/n your mouth, need you so bad ma.” zoro was leaning against a med table, his body laid slack as he rests comfortably, his eyes we’re rolling as he stares at your wet lips. the way your spit resembled the gloss in your cunt is making him so fucking tight in his boxers.
his hand starts to inch towards your face, small trails of his shadow following his finger tips as he grips a chunk of hair just above the nape of your neck. your strands feeling like tentacles, gripping and pulling him back in.
his boxers were so soft in your hands as you pulled them down. bright yellow and green lights blinded you as the elastic band of his briefs snapped snug on his thighs. his cock was practically swollen. his tip was soaked.
“whatdya think babe?” his exhales were shaky but he smirked at you. his head rolled back exposing his throat to you once he felt your warm breaths against his tortured cock.
“i think you’re a kinky motherfuckerrrrr, i love it” you can’t help but giggle, serotonin still heightening with every moment. he is so silly.
no way he has glow sticks working as a cock ring,, two joined together suffocating his shaft and balls, thick veins decorating his base and his tip burning pink.
his grip felt so good on your scalp, your eyes rolled back as he moved you closer. “you gonna fit it all babe? i know you can”
“mhmm yes zo~ always”
your hands grazed softly against his quads, spreading him open for you to taste. his breath hitched when you touched him. he was so hypersensitive. you lick you lips leaving excess spit layering on top of them. gently you kiss up and down his length, sucking with each one. his cock shook, smacking your plump lips lightly. he whined for you to take him. “dammit y/n, mm fucking s-sensitive, wanna fuck your mouth baby.”
you slid the flat of your tongue up his shaft and circled the tip, using your hands to take his remaining length as your lips suck on the top. you were collecting spit in your mouth to prepare yourself to take him all. your dark eyes met his as you relaxed your throat and slowly swallowed him. your nose met his musky scent as you settled there for a moment. “fuck babee,, i’m actually gonna cum-” zoros eyes were so tightly shut. you could see a forehead vein start to protrude. he cupped the back of your neck holding you still as he fucked your throat. with four harsh thrusts, he came.
his semen shooting to the back of your throat and up your airways, cum was dripping from your nose, eyes bloodshot from choking. his grunts echoed in your ears making your cunt drool for him. your boyfriend was still rock solid after you thought you had drained him but he was back on his feet in seconds.
“baby ya sucked the soul out of me, you need to feel this.”
zoro picked you up and placed you on the table. he removed your small shorts and your panties.
he huffed, “not like you were wearing anything anyways, slut.” he looked so evil, fuck you needed him so bad you were clenching around nothing.
he tossed your fabrics to the side and moved to hover you, two of his fingers slid past your folds effortlessly, your thighs tightening around his hand, trapping him there. “fuck y/n you’re sopping wet. could probably take me now huh slut?”
his fingers pumped within you. his touch was addicting, waves of pleasure throbbed in your weeping cunt. “zoro fucking pleaseee. need ta fuck you~”
his fingers retracted from your center, admiring your slick drenching his hand. he took a taste, moaning at your flavors. “damn, need a taste babe. sorry, i’ll fill ya in a bit-” with no notice, his face was buried in your cunt. tongue diving deep into your hole. whines and whimpers left your filthy mouth, your fingers clawing at his scalp. his sudden movements caused your walls to pulse and clench his tongue, your pleasure filling you with endless bliss. zoro wouldn’t let up, never neglecting your puffy clit. waves wash over you. your body is jerking as you feel the tightness in your core about to explode. your chest expands and deflates harshly as you feel the spurts of heavy contractions pulse in your cunt.
zoro keeps sucking and licking, griping your thighs and suffocating his face, you couldn’t shy away. he ignores your sensitive whines and keeps going. your body sporadically jerks from the feel of his wicked tongue. you feel something releasing, it’s so wet. zoro peaks his head up to make eye contact with you. “shit angel, your makin a fuckin mess.” he slurps from your cunt. “filthy girl.”
your arms slung to cover your eyes, lights just a bit too bright causing you to feel as if you were about to pass out. you were breathing heavily, your cunt still pulsing and dropping with your heartbeat.
“fill me zo, please~” you had tears in your eyes, the pleasure was almost too much, you just had to have him though. your cream mixed with your piss had you so slippery. your hand reaches down, collecting juices and swirling between your clit and your hole. weeps and sobs escape your lips at the feeling, you needed him and he was taking too long.
he was gonna let you rest for a bit but he was fucking ready for your sweet cunt. soo eager to feel your walls sucking him in. your actions encouraging him more. “fuck, such a needy girl.”
he rips your fingers from your aching hole and he fucks deep into you, pushing all the way in. your toes curled and your eyes squeezed shut as you scream his name. “SHIT FUCK FUCKK!!” his cock slipped in and out with such ease, he took himself all the way in and all the way out with each thrush, you suctioned his tip so well with every exit. zoros hands were on either side of you holding himself up while he fucks you.
“zoro i’m right there— fuck, just like that..” his breaths were deep “mm i- fuck i’m close too, i gotcya~.” his pace never faulting, fucking you hard.
you feel your second orgasm flutter in your cunt, squeezing harshly as you grind yourself against his cock, rushing to your release. “mmaah ah shhitt zo, gonna c-“
“fuckkkk, cream on my dick baby.” his fingers pinched the fat of your ass harshly as he fucked you into the table. your release consuming you, seeing white and hearing ringing in your ears. his high was perfectly timed with yours. pants and whimpers filling your immediate space. with a few final thrusts, he fills you up. white and clear creamy substance leaks from your stretched hole, you couldn’t hold him all in.
you were sticky and disgusting, spit and jizz was matted in your hair and your cunt was oozing liquid all the way down to your knees, zoro was a mess too. your bodies were dead but you both thought that maybe you should get out of there soon, post nut clarity thoughts flooded your minds. his jaw hung slack as he hurried to collect his things, fumbling with every movement. he couldn’t stand upright. the two of you threw on your filthy clothes and left the reminiscences of you juices in the tent, hoping no one would notice.
~
trafalgar law saw and heard the whole thing though.
“tsk.”

Chapter 31
[Prev] [Next]
“I… I feel like I need to push,” you grunted out.
Your doctor ran to your bedside.  “Okay, dear, okay, follow my lead, alright?”  She assisted in turning you on your side, adjusting your various tubes to better accommodate your position.  “Like we discussed, okay?  This position will help reduce the pressure on your pelvis and make it much easier to push.”
You nodded, your expression contorting in a grimace as a much stronger contraction ran through you in waves, lingering in your muscles like radiation. Your hands were curled up by your head, lacking anything to hold on to, so you resorted to fisting the white cotton sheets covering the mattress below you.  It felt mildly uncomfortable, but as soon as you were settled, you felt like your muscles were able to work much more effectively.  You breathed out a pained sigh, the pressure in your lower abdomen increasing in waves.
“You’re starting to crown already,” another nurse spoke up.  “Your body is already so primed for delivery!  It’s like you’ve been practicing.  If I didn’t know any better, I’d assume this was your third or fourth baby!”
“I’m going to hold your hand, alright?” your doctor asked, confirming with you on what would make you the most comfortable.  “How bad is your pain?  We can get you started on an epidural.”
“It’s…”  As soon as the contraction ceased, another one followed in its place.  You were outrageously close.  “It’s pretty bad,” you confirmed.
“I’m impressed, when I gave birth to my first, I almost passed out.  The pain was so bad!” one of the nurses at the other side of your room called out.  “You have quite the tolerance!”
You flashed a weak smile.  If only these nurses knew.
Your doctor rubbed your head reassuringly.  She really did feel like a mother in her own right.  “We’ll start that epidural.  Once that’s in place and you’re stable, we’ll begin pushing.  Can I get you anything?”
Your eyes wearily glanced up at her calm, reassuring face.  “I know it’s a long shot but… can you call my husband?”
The second lung was almost fully detached.  Over halfway through the surgery now, it had been much faster and more successful than anyone thought it would be.  Alongside a few breaks that were taken by the staff to relieve themselves and stretch their backs, sterile orange juice breaks sipped through plastic straws, and brief physical therapy for the unconscious patient to make sure his blood continued to circulate properly and his skin wasn’t damaged, the operation was going very, very smoothly.
And thank goodness.  Law needed some good news right now.
Among the beeping sounds of the patient’s heart monitor, the wrrr of the bypass machine, and the soft chatter amongst the team as they worked, a new sound infiltrated the space.  In the farthest corner of the room, Law’s hospital pager went off.
“What was that?” one of the nurses asked.
“My pager,” Law responded.  His voice was laced with anxiety.  He was barely keeping it together, and who knows why his pager might have been going off in the middle of an operation.
The circulating nurse took it upon herself to snatch up the small device, pressing the response button.  The best, or arguably worst, thing about the pagers was how loud they were.  Everyone could hear the voice that came through the other end.
[Dr. Trafalgar Law?  Dr. Trafalgar?]  It was a woman’s voice.
“I’m listening,” he shouted back.  The nurse stepped slightly closer with the pager in her hand.
[This is Nurse Kaya from Labor & Delivery, your wife is crowning.  Just wanted to let you know.]
Spoken far too casually for the news that made Law’s stomach drop like a brick.  He was missing the birth.
“FUCK,” he suddenly shouted, his hands still carefully working at the lung’s connective tissue.  It was as if his body and his mind were on completely different wavelengths.  So much for operating room etiquette.  The air in the room had gone completely cold as nervous glances among the team were shared.
“Doctor, I’m not opposed to relieving you with another on-call surgeon.  I know this is a huge ordeal, but we’re almost done and… this is a special case,” one of the head nurses spoke up.
He was clearly deliberating heavily in his mind.  He wanted to run, carry himself as fast as his feet could handle, and get to your side.  He needed to be there with you.  He was missing the birth of his first child.  A lump developed in his throat.  The protective husband side of him had the stoic, focused surgeon side pinned against the wall with a knife to his throat.
“Get the on-call surgeon here immediately and have him gowned and sterilized,” he finally barked, passing his tools off to his assistant and stepping away from the body.  A few relieved gasps were shared amongst the team as the circulating nurse brought Law out from the theater and into the prep room where she assisted in frantically undressing him from his surgical scrubs and passing his phone and pager back into his possession.  His operating room attire was quickly disposed of in a biohazard waste bin while he quickly washed his hands in the nearby basin.
“Doctor, good luck,” she said with a smile, her eyes crinkling under her mask.
Law could only pass her a faint grin as he shrugged on his white coat, stuffed his phone in the pocket of his slacks, and sprinted out of the prep room.  On the way, the on-call surgeon passed by and planted a reassuring smack to Law’s shoulder before replacing him.
Law was breaking every hospital rule there was.  Sprinting through the hallway, his feet hammering against the tiled ground as he fought his way through the hospital’s expansive campus, past patient rooms, nurses’ stations, and waiting areas.  Why did L&D have to be so far away?!  His eyes followed the signs on the walls pointing him in the right direction, his muscle memory leading the way.  He scaled two flights of stairs two-at-a-time, the muscles in his legs screaming at him to stop.  He was almost positive he would tear a muscle with how fast he was running.  But that didn’t matter.
Finally, finally, he pushed through the doors into the maternity ward, flashing his badge frantically at the nurse behind the check-in desk.  He was panting, barely able to catch his breath, one of his hands shaking as it supported his weight against the desk.
“My… Trafalgar… where… shit…” he panted, beads of sweat pilling on his forehead below his ragged bangs.
“Down the hall, take a left, then a right,” the nurse instructed, her voice pleasantly calm.  She must have seen this a lot.
He barely uttered out a ‘thank you’ before he was off again, pounding down the tiled hallways past delivery and recovery rooms, past the expansive NICU and small groups of families and doctors.  He had tunnel vision.  He needed to get to you.
Take a left.
Then a right.
He almost sprinted past the door to the delivery room you were in, only backtracking when he caught the pained sound of your voice from within.  He flung the door open, nurses surrounding you jumping from shock at the sight.
“Dr. Trafalgar?!” one of them exclaimed, her eyes wide.
Law ignored her.
Your eyes went wide, your hand being held by the doctor who had admitted you.  Tears immediately brimmed in the corners of your vision as a pained smile broke out on your face.  Law took the spot of your doctor instantly, almost throwing himself at you as he littered your face with kisses, grasping your hand and holding in his pain as you squeezed harshly against his bones, the force of another contraction gripping your body.  You were laying on your side, one of your knees tucked upward toward your chest as far as you could manage to allow the baby more room to come out.  You had an epidural tube sticking out of your spine, your upper body barely covered by blankets and the open-back hospital gown to accommodate for the birth.
“You made it…” you wheezed, torn between the attention on your husband and the baby coming out of you.
“I couldn’t miss it… I couldn’t…” he wheezed.  He was still very winded, his lungs shuddering for breaths.  Any longer and he would’ve been the one needing a dual pulmonary transplant.
“Ready for another push?” shouted one of the nurses at your bedside above the noise.
You nodded, biting your lower lip.  Your face was glistening with sweat.  Your body tensed up, gripping Law’s hand like a lifeline as you pushed, a pained groan emanating from deep within your throat as your eyes pinched shut.
“How is she doing?” demanded Law, gazing at the doctor who took her spot at the end of your bed where your legs were parted.
“She’s doing great, both babies are in cephalic position, her blood pressure is good and her heart rate is even better, it’s unlikely she’ll need emergency intervention.  I’m incredibly pleased considering her medical history,” the older doctor explained.  “Come over here.”
Law gazed at you, a fond smile on your lips as you released his hand so he could join his extended colleague at the foot of your bed.
“Delivering on her side helps lessen the pressure on her body as well as the baby’s,” the woman explained.
Law’s breath caught in his throat.  Emerging from you was a head of fuzzy black hair, slicked with amniotic fluid.  One of the nurses called for another push, and your lower body tensed up, your muscles clenching as hard as they could while you pushed the baby out more.  Law quickly returned to your side, grasping your hand once more.
“Baby… how are you doing?” he asked, desperate for your personal opinion, his lungs finally settling as he took in your exhausted appearance.
You grimaced.  “The epidural has been helping, but it hurt like a bitch going in,” you groaned.  “I’ve been having contractions since 2 in the morning.  I just want them to be out already.”
“Once the head is delivered, the rest will be easy!” one of the nurses called, a bright smile on her face.
Law felt himself smile as well.  Being a delivery nurse must have been incredibly rewarding on the best days.  He glanced at the clock on the far wall.  It was almost 10 in the evening.  His heart panged in his chest.
“Youre doing amazing, baby, you’re amazing,” he whispered in your ear, planting another kiss against the soft, sweat-soaked skin of your forehead.
“One more push, dear!” the doctor called.
Your eyes squeezed shut, your muscles contracting with all your might at the count of the nurses assisting you, your hand clamping down on Law’s.  He held in his grimace of pain, supporting you as best he could.  Some slight hand bruises were nothing compared to what you were experiencing.  How chivalrous of him.
A sudden rushing feeling emanated from your body, a wet sensation prickling your skin through the numbness of the epidural.  Your heart rate picked up, your eyes growing wide as you worriedly asked, “What was that?!”
“Your water broke, dear!  Everything’s alright!” a nurse responded.
You moaned in pain.  “It’s about damn time.”  Your grip on Law’s hand released slightly, and you watched as a small smile appeared on his lips.
With one more push, the pressure in your groin finally dissipated somewhat as a nurse pulled your first baby out of you.  With the collapse of the amniotic sacs, it was much easier to deliver the rest of its body, much to your relief.  As soon as the contractions stopped, however, they began again.
“Keep going, darling, just one more to go!” the doctor called.  “It’s right there!”
You barely had the energy to pick your head up to look, and you watched through half-lidded eyes as Law examined the nurses huddled around your baby at the foot of your bed.  It was placed in a small portable incubator, being hooked up to machines to assess its condition.  35 weeks was still pretty early, so it made sense.  Its umbilical cord was clamped about two minutes after emerging from your womb.  Law tried to keep his anxiety repressed as your body shuddered with another contraction.
“The second baby is always easier, darling, you’re already fully dilated from the first,” explained your doctor, giving a reassuring pat to your ankle.
“First baby’s stable!” called one of the nurses.  “It’s a girl!”
Law felt his chest clench at the news.  His eyes lit up as he gazed at you, a smile pulling on his lips.  A weary smile formed on your own face as you were instructed to push once again.  Much to the room’s relief, the second baby did indeed come out much quicker than the first.  The loss of the amniotic fluid from your uterus and the stretching that your pelvis had endured with the first made it worlds easier for your second baby to emerge into the world.  The process repeated- a quick cleaning, a clamp after two minutes, and a quick check of vital signs.
“Another girl!” one of the nurses called, assessing the second in another small incubator.  “Also stable!”
You were helped onto your back in somewhat of a hurry, the two boxes containing your babies pushed toward your bedside where they were quickly gathered in bundles of blankets and placed on your chest.  It was all happening so fast, the world was practically blurring around you.  As soon as your babies touched your skin, it was as if a deep-rooted instinct emerged from you.  Law watched with pride as you nestled your newborns into your chest, your gentle hands holding their backs as they took in their first breaths as living humans.
Holy shit.
The room had quickly gone quiet around the four of you, a few of the nurses cleaning you up and reviewing your condition while additional nurses left the room to prepare suitable beds in the NICU for your newborns.  Even though they were both healthy and stable, they needed some extra time to grow.
“Law…?” you asked weakly, turning your head to look at your husband.
Law’s golden eyes were wide, frozen, large, salty tears streaming silently down his cheeks.  His chin was quivering as he gazed over you.  His three girls.
His girls.  He had two daughters.
Your husband huffed out a laugh that sounded more like a weary sob as he moved closer to you, stroking your head with his hand as he gazed warmly over the two tiny bodies on your chest, making their first contact with their mother.  He wiped his eyes clumsily with the sleeve of his white coat, inhaling a gross-sounding sniffle through his nose.
“I’m sorry I’m crying…” he blubbered.
“Don’t be…” you replied, your own tears welling in your eyes.  “You’re finally a daddy.  I’m happy you’re crying.”  You quietly laughed as Law reached forward with his hand, wiping your tears away from your cheeks, followed by another tender kiss against your jaw.
A nurse quickly stopped by your bedside, slipping small white cotton hats onto the tiny noggins of your daughters before leaving the four of you alone for a few more moments.  The skin-to-skin time was crucial for their attachment to you, and once that was established, they’d be able to go into the NICU for their extra care.
Both of the girls, despite being only around 35 weeks, had near-full heads of hair.  It made you wonder what they would have looked like being born at full-term.  The one over your left breast had tiny black curls that still stuck to her head.  The one over your right breast had thinner, straighter wisps of a lighter brown color.  They’d come into their own in a few more months as they grew, but even just from first looks, they were both clearly their father’s daughters.
The minutes following the birth were quite nasty if one were to ask you.  Law thought they were an interesting few moments, but you weren’t listening to him.  He was biased.  And frankly, you hated the way it felt when two placentas ejected themselves from your body.  It was like having another two babies but slimier and worse.
Your epidural was removed and you were cleaned up and helped into a cotton gown to rest in.  Your legs were weak from your long labor, but you were rewarded with some light food that didn’t taste like hospital sludge.  The third best piece of news you received was that, by some miracle, you didn’t tear a bit, and your uterus had completely and successfully done its job.
Finally.
You passed out very soon after your placentas were delivered, exhausted and completely spent after delivering two babies.
Law took the opportunity to retreat to the NICU and oversee his daughters as they were hooked up to breathing tubes and heart monitors to ensure that their good conditions remained that way.  They had their hand prints and foot prints taken by gentle nurses who were cooing over how cute they were, a sight that brought a smile to Law’s eyes.
“Dr. Trafalgar,” the voice of the doctor who oversaw your delivery shook him from his blissful state.  “Congratulations.”
“Dr. Linlin,” he replied as he turned to face her, shaking her hand.  “It’s good to see you.  Thank you for everything.”
“No need to thank me, dear,” she hummed.  “I’m a veteran of the motherhood game.  It’s all in a day’s work for me.  I’m so glad to see you happy and healthy, and with a wife even.  I remember the first day I met you, that skinny, scared looking post-grad doctor forced to speak in front of a huge crowd.”
Law groaned, rolling his eyes as the memory.  “One of the worst days of my life, for sure.”
The woman laughed, a hearty, bouncy chuckle.  She hadn’t changed a bit in the 20-some-odd years, probably even longer, that she had been a doctor.  “But look at you now.  A huge, monumental surgery, and now twins.  All in one day.”
“I’m going to sleep for centuries after all of this settles,” he added with a small smirk.  “After helping my wife, obviously.”
Dr. Linlin gave Law a hearty smack on his back, right in between his shoulders, making him lurch forward slightly.  “Your daughters will stay in the NICU for 24 hours for observation, and then they’ll be transferred to stay with the two of you in postpartum.  Let me know if you need anything, alright?  In a few hours, I’ll be back in your room to help you two sign the birth certificates.”
Law watched as the woman walked down the hall, her own bright pink doctor’s coat trailing behind her.  One of the only things Law knew about Linlin was the amount of kids she had.  It seemed like she popped out one every year, and yet she still had the time to be a labor and delivery doctor.  He shook his head, trying to ignore the logistics of it, before walking back to the postpartum room you had been transferred to.
You were awake and staring at the ceiling above you, your hands clasped around your belly.  You were still quite swollen, having been told that it would take a bit for your stomach to return to its pre-pregnant state, but you were already trying to come to terms with the fact that you would most likely never look exactly the same ever again.  Not after carrying and shoving out two humans.  When Law entered your quiet room, you smiled, all your anxieties melting away at the sight of your husband.
He wasted no time in crossing the space between you, leaning over you to plant a loving kiss against your lips.  All the emotions he had been holding in throughout the day, all the tension that arose during his mad dash through the hospital, and all the worries that the two of you had shared during your pregnancy struggles flooded between your exchange.  One of your hands traveled up to caress his cheek, your fingers trailing across his sideburns and into his slightly greasy black hair, pulling him ever closer to you.
“I’m happy you didn’t tear, or need anything else, really,” he whispered, pulling away from you.  “After everything you went through, you needed an easy birth.”
You grinned.  “I like to think our two other babies, somewhere out there in the universe, wanted it to be easy for us.  For once.”
Law pulled up a chair and sat beside you, leaning against your bed and dropping his head onto your shoulder.  You gently caressed your fingers through his hair in the way you knew he loved, watching with a fond smile as his eyes closed.
“What did they say about the NICU?” you asked, your voice tired and weary.
“24 hours.  Then they’ll be transferred here to stay with us.”  Law kissed your hand cheek.  “They’ll be eligible for discharge after they’re able to eat, stay warm, and breathe efficiently.”
“Speaking of which,” you stated, slowly moving yourself to sit up despite the aches in your bones.  “I pumped for the first time when you were looking at them.”
“How quick were you?” he asked with a joking tone.  “I didn’t think I was gone for that long.”
“It didn’t take as long as I thought it would, but I also didn’t need to give that much milk.  One of the nurses helped me, and they’ll be able to feed them in the NICU.  At some point in another hour or so, though, she told me I’ll have to visit them there so we can make sure they can latch on their own.”  One of your hands traveled up to painfully grab at one of your breasts.  “I’m already feeling so achy in my chest.  It’s gonna be a rough few months.”
Law grinned, dipping his head back down.  “But you’ll have help.  Don’t forget that.”
You hummed in response.  “You’re right.”
After a few extra moments of silence, you added.  “Names?”
“Hm?”
You chuckled.  “Names.  We have to name our girls.”
“Oh shit, you’re right,” Law muttered.  He had completely forgotten one of the most important parts of being a new parent.  “What were you thinking?”
“Cora and Rose,” you said, matter-of-factly.  “I’ve been thinking about it for a while.  And now we know they’re both girls.”
Law smiled, a rare, genuine expression that reached his eyes.  A smile he only ever showed you.  “Cora and Rose… which one is which?”
“Rose is the one with those little black curls.  Cora is the one with the lighter hair,” you confirmed.
Another tender kiss was planted on your forehead.  “I couldn’t ask for anything better than that.”
You didn’t expect breastfeeding to be as euphoric as it was.  In less of an immense pleasure way, and more of a ‘holy crap, it feels like my breasts are losing 25 pounds’ kind of way.
Your girls were already so good.  Cora latched instantly, one of her tiny, weak hands curling slightly upward to grasp at your skin.  Both of them were still curled in a fetal position, and it would take them a bit longer to finally stretch out and look more like usual babies, but right now, they were the perfect size to swaddle and nestle into your skin.
The neonatal intensive care unit was a surprisingly colorful place.  You always imagined it would be rife with anxiety, desperation, and sadness, a bunch of little, sick babies fighting for their lives, but the second you and Law finally entered to see your daughters, all those expectations flew out the window.  Their corner was bright and colorful, with rainbows painting the walls and a fairly large window with a view of the surrounding city below.  It was pitch black out, just past midnight, but you imagined the daylight would flood the room with a warm, natural light.
Your daughters were already so warm, kept insulated by their little cotton swaddles they were bundled in, and their tiny beanie hats that covered their fragile heads.  The sight warmed your heart.
A breastfeeding specialist (which was a job you had no idea existed until then), helped situate you in a chair, accommodating your sore and spent body.  She assisted with adequately positioning your daughters, one for each nipple, and gave you tips on how to make sure they latch and stay on while nursing from you.
You had an additional blood test a few hours after the birth, when your girls were done with their first natural feed and were now sleeping calmly in their incubators.  It was looking like you’d be able to go home within the next 24 hours, if everything continued as normal.
While you were taking a light nap in the chair beside your daughters’ beds, Law used your phone to snap some pictures of Cora and Rose in their tiny beds side by side, smiling as he pulled up your text messages and sent them off to Shachi, Penguin, and Ikkaku.  He didn’t think they’d respond, with it being so late, but their messages rolled in almost instantly, bringing a fond smile to his face.
Ika-chan OMGOGMOGMGOMGOMGOGMOGMGOGMOMG
Ika-chan TWO LITTLE GIRLS
Ika-chan ARE THEY HEALTHY????????
Ika-chan ARE *YOU* HEALTHY?????????????
Shachiiii Still cant believe those things came out of you whatthefuck
Shachiiii Must have hurt like a mf
PenPen Shachi’s next to me sobbing his eyes out
PenPen I’m crying too.  But I’m stronger than him
PenPen Fuck no im not.  Im soaked over here.
It was then that his pager beeped.  He forgot he still had it on him.  Technically, he was still on the clock.  He gently placed your phone on the small table beside you to not wake you up before reaching into his coat pocket and procuring his pager, stepping out into the hallway to not disturb his three sleeping beauties.
“This is Dr. Trafalgar,” he said into the small device.
Some slight static came through the speaker.  [Hey, this is Operation Triple Organ Replacement calling in from the OR!  How’s our best doctor doing?]
Law couldn’t fight the smile that formed on his lips.  “Before I answer, how was the rest of the procedure?”
Some small chuckles and a few mildly annoyed groans were heard.  [Patient did absolutely amazing.  He’s in recovery, stable, and is slowly being woken from anesthesia.  They’ll be able to take his intubation tube out in a few more hours, but that’s out of our hands.  Soooo…?]
Law felt relief fill his lungs.  A successful operation was everything he was hoping for, and now he felt he could finally rest easy.  “I have two daughters, Cora and Rose.  Everyone is happy, healthy, and resting.”
He needed to pull the pager away from his face as a cacophony of garbled cheering was heard.  A distorted [FUCK YEAH] echoed through the speaker.
“Are you guys still in the pre-op room?” he asked, lifting an eyebrow.
[Yeah, we’re all cleaned up and everything, but we were waiting for the right time to page you.  We’re abusing hospital equipment, we know, but this is CRUCIAL.]
Law couldn’t blame his team in the slightest.  It was past midnight on May 13th, and they had just completed the biggest surgical procedure of their lives, probably the most daunting surgery their hospital would ever see.  They deserved to rest and relax, and yet here they were, still in the pre-op theater, celebrating their lead doctor.
The black-haired surgeon smiled, pressing down on the transmission button with his thumb.  “You guys go clean up, alright?  Treat yourselves.  Everyone did absolutely amazing today.”
[Copy that, Doctor.  Tell your wife we said congrats!]
Law slipped the pager back into his pocket before reentering the NICU room.  His stern, golden eyes softened instantly upon seeing you awake, leaning over the side of Rose’s bed and idly trailing your thumb softly over her chubby cheek.  Beside Rose, Cora’s arms were already outstretched far enough that she was almost encroaching on her sister’s space.  Soon enough, the small oxygen tubes taped to their fresh faces would be gently removed, and they’d be able to go home and sleep in their cribs, in your apartment.  Law leaned over you and kissed the crown of your head, rubbing his inked hand between your shoulder blades.
“Hey, baby?” he whispered, gazing down at you.
You leaned into his side, melting at his touch.  “Yeah?”
“I’m so proud of you.”

(Not) Hard to Love
Part 2 (2/2)
Trafalgar Law x Reader
Tumblr media
Warning:⚠️ smutty situation, angsty thoughts
Authors Note: sorry that it took so long to post this. I was having a few bad days, just struggling with my confidence. Now I m doing a bit better. So here you go. Hope you have fun 🥰
this is by far the most suggestive thing I have ever written. lol. I hope it doesn’t suck too bad. If you like it, leave a comment. It does wonders to my mental health ❤️ (btw this raspberry jam is just in the story because I have been planning on making it for the past months and this is my reminder to get up from my lazy ass and make it! )
You were relieved, after days of almost doing nothing, because the sun was too hot and your thoughts too distracting, you were finally able to work again. It was one of those days were everyone was doing their best to restore and repair their beloved home.
The Thousand Sunny was a big ship. And after days of not doing much, it often needed some time to get everything organized and clean again.
Knowing your captain wasn’t the biggest fan of an organized living space, most of the work was split between the rest of the crew. While Nami was always on board keeping an eye on the ocean, Sanji was the one who was keeping the kitchen organized, while preparing the dishes for the day.
Franky and Usopp were repairing something in the library, while Brook and Robin were sorting the newest books, they got on the last island.
Luffy and Zoro were supposed to take care of everything on deck, which already wasn’t much. But after cleaning the girls bedroom, you walked towards the kitchen and saw both of them sleeping in the sunlight. Random, uncomfortable looking items being their pillows.
You just rolled your eyes and smirked. These two weren’t really cleaning themselves regularly, so why would they clean something else. It didn’t really make sense why you guys kept asking them to organize, even though you kinda knew they weren’t gonna be much of a help.
Opening the kitchen doors a warm sweet smell came towards you.
Sanji was standing at the stove, filling sugar into a red liquid.
"Uhhh, this smells amazing. May I have a taste?" you point to the boiling jam in front of you with an outstretched finger.
"Of course, my dear."
The cook gave you a spoonful of the sweet liquid and without blowing for long you tasted it.
"It tastes wonderful, Sanji! I'm already dreaming of how it will taste on the fresh crossaints you make from time to time."
The blond man grinned. He had to concentrate now. Not get distracted. Even if he particularly liked compliments from you.
"I'm glad you like it. I bought lots of raspberries so I could cook them for you.
I just realized that a little vanilla is still missing. Could you do me a favor? I have fresh vanilla in our storage room, I just forgot to bring them up from downstairs earlier. Could you get them quickly from below deck? I don't want the jam to burn.“
"Sure thing." With a smile, you walk back towards the door. You suck in the wonderful smell once more before quickly scurrying outside.
You had given Sanji the recipe for this particular jam a few months ago. Your mother used to make it when you were a child.
With quick steps, you skip down the stairs towards the storage room.
Your mind was full of warm memories of sunny mornings. Jam on baked goods. A table filled with fresh food. The last good days of your childhood.
Being on the thousand sunny was kind of like that time. With a smile on your face you walked towards the entry.
The groaning door gave you the creeps. Chopper had accidentally locked himself in down there once before. So, to be on the safe side, you put a box between you and the door. That way, it won't fall shut the next time the wind blows.
The light was already turned on in the storage room. You expected the little reindeer, who often spend time organizing and storing medicines down here to refill them in his little doctor's room when they were empty upstairs.
But it wasn't this doctor who was waiting for you in the far corner of the room.
Law was sitting on the floor looking through several boxes of pills.
Presumably he was going to take care of refilling the medicine room. Chopper probably send him, because he was still scared of last time.
You whisper a quiet "hey" in his direction so as not to startle him.
Law just looked up briefly and mumbled something in your direction.
What was his problem? You were starting to get angry again. Everyone was trying to build a home, be nice and him?! He was just not accepting you whatsoever.
How could someone be so arrogant and ignorant ?
A loud bang snapped you out of your thoughts.
The heavy door had slammed shut.
How could that be? You had just put something in between.
Annoyed, you turn to Law.
"Shit, now we're locked in here. I can't believe Franky still hasn't fixed the door!"
You push against the door with all your strength. It doesn't move. With a loud groan you press on the door again. But it doesn’t help. A large hand rests on your shoulder.
"Hey. let me try it, Y/N-ya. I'm sure I can get the door open."
You step aside and let the dark-haired man go at it. He also pushes against the door with all his might, but it doesn't move a bit.
Frustrated you started screaming for your friends to help you out of this awkward situation.
"Hey Namiiiii! Luffy! Frankyyyy!!! Help!"
"fuck! don't shout in my ear" Law
dramatically put his hands to his ears and stared at you angrily.
"do you want to get out of here or not?! Apparently mister-I can do anything- wasn't strong enough to open a simple door after all."
"Excuse me?"
The captain turned to you. He looked down at you, annoyed.
You took a step towards him. Pointing your finger on his chest.
"I finally want to know what your problem is?"
"I don't have a problem"
"Oh? Really? You're a fucking liar, Law."
"It's none of your business, what's wrong with me. Don't talk to me like that.
Your crazy captain has decided to form an alliance, and if that's a problem for you then talk to him and not to me."
Annoyed, Law turned to the side. He only took one step before you pulled him back by his shirt sleeve.
"Hey! Stay here. I don't have a problem with you or the Alliance at all."
Your back was against the cold iron door.
Law actually turned back around and took two steps towards you.
Only now do you realize how close he was to you.
"Why are you making it so difficult for me?"
His gaze was still avoiding yours. How much you would have liked to look him in the eye now. But then you probably wouldn't have been able to hold back. Your emotions were already getting the better of you.
You spoke to him much more calmly than before.
„What's so hard, Law? I can understand that you don't like me as much as the others. But why do you hate me? Is it that hard to just like me? Or even less. Just to accept me?"
Tears welled up in your eyes. Your own words stung your heart. All you wanted was to be looked at him. Be seen.
Law still stood rooted to the spot in front of you. One hand in front of his eyes, he shook his head.
„What makes you think I hate you?"
Your voice wasn't ready to answer that question. You just shrugged your shoulders, sobbing. You would like to sink into the ground. Now you're crying in front of the man who has no interest in you. You were a failure. A pathetic girl crying in front of her crush. Nothing more.
"hey. Shh. Don’t cry. Look at me when I'm talking to you."
Sternly but without anger in his voice, Law put his index finger under your chin. So that you can't help but look into his gray eyes.
" I don't hate you, Y/N-ya.“
A sigh escaping his lips. His eyes looked different then before. You almost thought he was leaning in. And the air around you got thicker and filled with more tension.
„I really don’t. Quite the opposite in fact. Ever since I saw you for the first time, I've been attracted to you. I just can’t act on it.
I have responsibilities and… I'm not a particularly good person. I've done bad things. I've taken lives when I should be saving lives as a doctor. I don’t want more people to get hurt because of me. And to be honest, I've never had feelings like this before. I have no idea how to deal with it.“
He looked down. Almost debating if he should say the next part.
„I think of you. All the time. I lay awake at night and all I see is your face. I long for your touch. And I want to learn to love, Y/N-ya. But I'm afraid of it. Fuck."
He took a deep breath. And exhaled.
"I want you. I need you.... And I don't know how..."
"Shhh."
Now it was you who put your index finger on Law's lips and slowly stroked his cheek with your hand.
"Just kiss me"
Horrified by your demanding words, Law looked down at you. He forgot how to breathe for a moment. His heart was beating so fast in his chest that he could hardly hear anything else. Your lips opened to say something. He didn't want you to change your mind. He took your face in both hands. Before he pressed his lips to yours.
"Just so you know. it isn't hard to fall for you, Y/N. But I m afraid, I have no clue what I m doing. My life is..."
"Law... just kiss me"
You moved forward again, pressing your lips to his. Law felt like the walls he had build up so maticulously, melting away by your kisses. He couldn’t hold himself back anymore, letting his desire take over.
Soft moans escaping your mouth while he pressed you against his body and the door behind you. You were caged in by his arms fully accepting whatever was gonna happen now. Your hands exploring the doctors body, while kissing each other hungrily. Law let out a low groan. This was better than in his daydreams. Your soft hands roaming his chest. Tracing his tattoos with lingering touches. One of Laws hands firmly placed against your hip. Shoving you against the metal door. Law was overwhelmed by his emotions. Not a single thought in his mind while he started grinding against you.
Using your moaning as chance to slide his tongue into your mouth.
His lustfull eyes being the most beautiful sight to you, while you buttoned down your summer dress.
Law was breathing heavily. His hair fully out of place by you tugging at his dark strands.
He can’t remember the last time he didn’t take the time to unbutton his shirt, but right now he was rushing to get it over his head. Throwing it down on the ground next to your dress.
Moving towards each other like magnets, lowly groaning between kisses, Law lifted up your thighs around his hips. Moving you against the door again.
His jeans rubbing against your panties. Making you cry out his name.
And for the second time that day you were interrupted by the same door you were making out against. The (stupid ) door opened with a loud hiss. Falling out of its angle. You and Law tumbeling and falling to the wooden floor.
This was a very annoying disturbance to your newly found passion. But it definitely wouldn’t have stopped you from showering Law with kisses, if it wasn’t for the circle of people and a very shocked reindeer standing around your almost naked bodies.
You and Law got up from the floor with red heads and stupid explanations. Feeling humiliated but kinda happy.
Law held his shirt protectively in front of you and hoped fervently that no one was looking at his jeans.
You looked at a bunch of different expressions.
Nami grinning. Robin, playing shocked, with one hand over her mouth. But she couldn't fool you. Her giggle was the first to be heard from the crowd.
„We really only planned for you guys to finally talk about it… that all… -
Nami made some hand gestures towards your half undressed bodies and the broken door on the ground.
„ - was not our intention.“
Usopp covered his own and then immediately afterwards Chopper's eyes. While Franky and Zoro toasted with sake in their hands. Apparently everyone was part of the stupid bet.
Luffy just looked back and forth between you and Law, confused. Obviously he hadn't quite understood yet, what was so exciting about this situation. He had seen you guys in swimwear before, not really something different in his eyes.
Sanji had blood all over his shirt and on his nose but tried to control himself. And thankfully pulled the others towards the exit.
"Don’t you guys look at Y/N-san like that. That’s not how you look at a lady.
Lunch is almost ready… let’s go Luffy.
Let the two of them go. We'll get the food ready."
Nami pulled Usopp towards her by the collar.
„So Usopp... I hope you remember our agreement... right?"
Laughing, the Strawhats left on after the other. Leaving behind two embarrassed pirates.
Franky mumbled something about "now I really have to fix the door"
While Chopper desperately tried to figure out what had just happened.
Robin gave you a wink while walking up the stairs.
Embarrassed, you looked at Law.
He took your hand and kissed it gently. Although it was hard for him, he tried to stand in front of you as confidently as possible.
" umm that was something… you know…
We still have some time before lunch. Would you like to… continue?! … What do you say Y/N-ya?"
You look at your intertwined hands and then back to Laws face. His face blushing, his eyes looking on the ground even though he would much rather look at your beautiful body before him. You stand on your tiptoes to give a quick peck to Law's lips.
"You may be right there is still some time. But I'll only follow you if you promise to use your devil powers this time. I wouldn't survive being caught like that again." Giggling, you put your arms around Law's neck.
"Okay then, let's pick up where we left off."
He gave you a gentle kiss on your forehead before lifting his hand. A smile on his face as he heard your heart beating loudly.

Description: On your courthouse wedding day, hope and determination fueled you, but your fiancé's absence and the revelation of a secret girlfriend shattered your dreams. In that moment of heartbreak, Trafalgar Law, an eligible and wealthy bachelor driven by the need for his family's inheritance, appeared. You immediately accepted without hesitation, unaware of the thrilling twists and turns awaiting you on the unexpected love journey.

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐄
The city of Sabaody appeared almost surreal under the persistent downpour, the streets glistening with rainwater and neon lights reflecting off the wet pavement. You hastily exited a yellow taxi, its tires sending up a spray of water as it sped away. Clutching your umbrella, you dashed up the stone steps, the raindrops patterning a rhythmic tune on its canopy. Inside the courthouse, the atmosphere was a stark contrast to the bustling, rain-soaked streets. The corridors were lined with heavy wooden doors leading to various courtrooms, their dark oak contrasting with the white marble floors. The scent of rain-soaked coats hung in the air, and the soft murmur of conversations between lawyers and clients filled your ears.
Finally, you reached the designated courtroom, your heart pounding as you pushed open the imposing wooden door. The judge, an imposing figure in a black robe, peered over the rim of his glasses. He tapped his watch with a measured impatience, the seconds ticking away audibly in the otherwise silent room. With a flush of embarrassment, you offered a hurried apology, the words echoing in the hushed space. The judge leaned forward, his voice carrying the weight of authority as he remarked, “You’re ten minutes late.”
Your gaze swept over the room, noticing the familiar faces of friends and family who had gathered for this momentous occasion. Panic surged as you realized your fiancé was conspicuously absent. The judge’s stern tone deepened your anxiety as he asked, “Where is your fiancé?” Desperation took hold, and you retrieved your phone from your pocket, trembling fingers fumbling as you dialed your fiancé’s number. Each ring felt like an eternity, and your hope dwindled with every unanswered call. Finally, it diverted to voicemail, and you excused yourself from the courtroom, stepping into the hallway. The fluorescent lights above flickered slightly, casting an eerie glow on the gray walls. As you tried your fiancé’s number once more, your heart raced. Outside, the relentless rain painted a picture of uncertainty, mirroring the doubt and concern swirling through your thoughts.
As you continued to redial your fiancé's number, minutes stretched into half an hour, and the stress began to gnaw at you like a relentless itch. Frustration and worry etched lines across your forehead. You kept glancing at your phone, hoping for any sign of life from your missing partner. Unable to quell your anxiety, you allowed your gaze to wander, and it landed on an open courtroom adjacent to yours. A courtroom wedding was in progress, and the atmosphere inside was surprisingly festive. The bride and groom, dressed in exquisite attire, exchanged vows with radiant smiles. What struck you as odd was the extravagance of the guests' attire. They sported both recognizable luxury brands and some that seemed to be known only to a select few. It was a stark contrast to your own choice of a simple courthouse wedding.
Your attention was briefly diverted when a slim, tall man around your age exited the room. He exuded an air of sophistication and confidence. His golden eyes hinted at a hidden depth, and his chiseled face framed by slicked-back black hair added to his allure. He was dressed in a minimal yet elegant all-black ensemble, oozing a kind of charm that was hard to ignore.
For a moment, you found yourself admiring his appearance, but then a wave of guilt washed over you. You had no business checking out other men when you were supposed to be getting married today. Your gaze returned to your phone screen, desperately waiting for your fiancé to pick up, your heart heavy with worry and doubt. As you waited anxiously, a voice from inside the courtroom called out, “Law.” It was the groom, and you mentally noted the name of the handsome man as Law. You watched as Law turned to the groom, annoyance flickering in his golden eyes. He whispered something to the groom, who appeared chastened and immediately apologized, bowing in deference.
Your curiosity piqued, but before you could dwell on this interaction, your phone finally came to life. Relief washed over you as you asked your fiancé if he was okay, explaining your concern for his unresponsiveness earlier. However, instead of your fiancé’s voice, a woman answered the call, and your heart sank. As the woman’s words cut through the air like daggers, you found your voice despite the turmoil inside you. Anger and disbelief fueled your response, and your tone was sharp as you retorted, “What are you talking about? This can’t be true!” The woman on the other end of the line, her voice dripping with condescension, replied, “Oh, sweetheart, it’s as true as the sky is blue. Your so-called fiancé has been seeing me for months behind your back. He’s been spending money meant for your shared expenses on me.”
Your mind reeled, and you clenched your fists, desperately trying to process this shocking revelation. In a mix of anger and heartbreak, you shot back, “How could he do this? We were getting married today! Who are you, anyway?” She laughed again, that same cruel laughter that grated on your nerves. “I’m the one who’s been keeping him entertained, while you were here planning your wedding like a fool. I’m the one he’s chosen over you, darling.” Tears welled up in your eyes, and you couldn’t help but feel a sense of humiliation and betrayal. “You… You’re destroying my life!” you exclaimed, your voice quivering with emotion. She remained unapologetic, her voice cold and dismissive. “I’m just telling you the truth. He never loved you, sweetie. You’re better off without him.” You demanded, in a trembling voice, that he pick up the phone and confirm the terrible truth himself. After what felt like an eternity, he finally picked up the call. Your voice was seething with anger as you confronted him.
With the phone pressed to your ear, you could feel your anger rising like a tempest. "Is it true?" you demanded, your voice trembling with a mix of hurt and fury. "Tell me you didn't do what she said." A heavy sigh on the other end was followed by a heartless admission, "yeah, it's true. I haven't loved you for a long time. I've been using you, living off your money while saving everything for my new girlfriend and our new life." Each word cut deeper, igniting a burning rage within you. "You heartless, selfish... Do you even understand how much I've struggled because of you?!" Your voice quivered with a blend of sorrow and anger. "I gave you chance after chance to change, to be a better person, and this is how you repay me? I regret every moment I ever spent loving you or feeling pity for you!"
The line went silent for a moment as your fiancé absorbed the force of your words. Finally, he responded, "Well, I don't need your pity or your love anymore—“
With those words, you reached a breaking point. The torrent of emotions, the years of suffering and betrayal, all culminated in a moment of sheer frustration. Without thinking, you slammed your phone onto the ground, the sound of it shattering echoing through the hallway. Your heartache was now accompanied by the pain of a destroyed device, symbolizing the wreckage of the life you had built together.  As you sat there in the dimly lit courthouse hallway, shattered phone in hand, your focus consumed by the turmoil of your own life falling apart, you were unaware that Law had been observing your situation with keen interest.
Just as Law opened his mouth to perhaps offer some comment or consolation, his own phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and picked it up, his expression quickly shifting from curiosity to irritation. It was his father's financial advisor on the line, and they delved into a discussion about his father's will. Law's brows furrowed deeply as he listened, and he finally interrupted, frustration evident in his voice. "Why are you discussing this with me when my father is still alive? Is something wrong?" The financial advisor explained matter-of-factly, "Your father instructed me to discuss the beneficiaries with you in case anything were to happen to him. It's a precautionary measure, nothing more."
Law's irritation lingered, but he couldn't deny the weight of the conversation. As he concluded his call, his thoughts seemed to drift back to you, sitting there with your world shattered, much like his own feelings of betrayal and uncertainty about the future. As the conversation with his father's financial advisor continued, Law's irritation gave way to bewilderment. The advisor disclosed a surprising update to his father's will, something that caught Law completely off guard. His voice filled with curiosity and disbelief, Law questioned, "What is it? What did my father do?" The advisor hesitated for a moment before delivering the unexpected revelation. "Your father updated his will recently. In it, there's a condition for you to inherit his wealth and properties. You won't gain access to your inheritance unless you're married for more than a year."
Law was struck speechless by this revelation. His father's desire for a daughter-in-law and the prospect of a grandchild had always been a topic of discussion, but he never imagined his father would take it to this extreme. Law sat in stunned silence as the weight of his father’s unconventional condition settled upon him. He never thought his father’s desire for a daughter-in-law and grandchild would manifest in such a peculiar way. The advisor’s voice brought him back to the conversation, “Your father made this decision to ensure the continuation of the family legacy. It seems he was quite adamant about it.” Law could hardly believe it. It was as if his father was orchestrating his life from beyond the grave. A mixture of frustration and resignation washed over him. “Is there anything else in the will I should know about?”
The advisor assured him that he had covered the essential points, but Law couldn’t help but contemplate the unexpected turn of events. His father’s plan seemed to be unfolding like a complex chess game, and Law was left to grapple with the implications, all while sitting in the courthouse hallway where your own life had taken a dramatic, painful turn.
Law's gaze lingered on you for a moment, and when your eyes briefly met, a fleeting connection sparked between you. However, you quickly looked away, wiping away the tears that had been streaming down your cheeks as you listened to your own life unravel over the phone. In the midst of his own turmoil, Law's determination grew stronger. He couldn't let this opportunity to secure his inheritance slip through his fingers, regardless of the price it might entail. He leaned closer to the phone and instructed the advisor, "Tell my father that I've met someone and that we were planning to get married at the courthouse."
Unbeknownst to him, your ears perked up at his words, and your heart raced. Normally, you didn't jump to conclusions, but the timing and context of his statement left little room for doubt. A sense of disbelief and curiosity washed over you, as you wondered if his words could somehow be connected to the dramatic events unfolding in your own life. Law's confident gaze locked onto you as he interrupted your thoughts, revealing that he had been listening to your conversation with your now ex-fiancé.
The shock of the situation left you momentarily speechless. With a calm yet determined tone, Law explained his unexpected proposition. "You're not getting married to him," he stated matter-of-factly. "I need a wife, and I can assure you that you'll be well taken care of, both physically and, most importantly, financially. You won't struggle ever again." The words hung in the air, and for a moment, you couldn't believe what you were hearing. It was as if you had stepped into the pages of a romance novel, and this modern prince was offering you a castle and a princess title. You pondered on it briefly, the weight of the decision heavy in the air. Then, with newfound determination, you met Law's gaze and agreed, "Alright, I'm in. Let's do this." It wasn't every day that life presented such a surreal opportunity, and you were willing to take the leap into this unexpected twist of fate.

Fate Chapter 03. — New
Roronoa Zoro X OC X Trafalgar Law
The story tells about the encounter between Yuki and the Straw Hat Pirates from different worlds and different eras.
Tumblr media
In the evening, you get together with everyone for dinner and talk about a grand carnival that will be held on a certain island. When Luffy heard about the carnival, he took the opportunity to clamor to go there and have fun. Sanji and Chopper happened to have to fill up supplies, so the next destination was there.
Robin knew the destination, she took the opportunity to suggest buying you some daily necessities and clothes. Nami felt a little guilty that she felt sorry for giving you old clothes, but you really didn't mind.
After dinner you helped to sort out the dishes and take them to the kitchen for cleaning. You came to this world, they treated you well but you didn't give them anything in return. Thinking about it was better to start with basic chores first, which was better than idleness.
Washing so many dishes reminds you in the past there were just a few dishes in your own home, but now there are so many as if they were enough for a family. It’s the life you’ve been looking forward to spending with your lively family and friends.
Your family originally had you with your parents, but you were alone in the empty home. You are a little envious everyone always has their parents to accompany and play with them, but you are always alone.
Even if your parents leave Japan to work abroad, they will come home to celebrate your birthday. You are very happy from the bottom of your heart. Since then, you have been looking forward to their return home and reunion every day, but the reality is often cruel.
In the end, there was nothing to wait for. The door to the house was opened by no one but yourself.Recently learned how to cook curry rice and feel very proud of yourself and want to share with them.
Gradually, you discovered that they have not come back in recent years, the phone calls are no longer dialed immediately. The only way to confirm that both parents are still alive is to remit the amount to your account every month. The once-a-year birthday wish suddenly collapsed. .
As time goes by, you gradually no longer have any illusions and expectations. Go to school then come home on time to do your homework, work part-time during holidays, and watch anime or sleep in your free time.
Perhaps these reasons have caused you to become more withdrawn and unwilling to socialize. It may be that you are afraid that the loneliness of separation will be unbearable. Life must go through many setbacks, and you should probably learn to accept or reject them.
In order to numb your emotions, wake up every day and tell yourself must face everything with strength. In fact no one to rely on. Even wanted to seek comfort for a small matter, you see nothing but just an empty space when got home. You could only curl up on the sofa and cry silently.
It's hard to get used to being with the Straw Hat Pirates now. It's so lively and you feel out of place. You have been accustomed to loneliness and suddenly come to a strange but lively world. You are afraid of making the same mistakes again. The moment of happiness will gone again.
"Hey!"
You were jolted out of your thoughts by a shout "Hwah!"
"Why are you looking so sad~" Luffy tilted his head.
"Really?" Luffy saw through it immediately but you still kept smiling.
Luffy just stared at you with a pouted "Hmmmmm..."
"Luffy?" Luffy kept staring at you, and felt a pressure in your heart.
He put his hand on the straw hat smiled brightly, "You are no longer alone!"
You learned from Nami that Luffy is a relatively casual and simple person. He often yells and makes a fuss in a silly manner but is a very reliable person. Although his behavior is very strange, he can inexplicably sense the vulnerability deep in your heart.
"I know." You were so moved by what he said, you almost couldn't hold back your tears.
Luffy seems like a sunny boy who can warm people's hearts. You have to cheer up, you are no longer the lonely person you were before, now you have the Straw Hat Pirates with you.
Luffy left happily after chatting with you. After that you organize all the washed dishes put them in the cupboard one by one. Some large plates are stored in high cabinets. You pull up a chair and stand up, holding several plates placing them carefully.
"Need a help?" Zoro's voice came from behind you.
Thinking that there were still a few plates that you could put away, so you politely refused him, "There's just a little more. It's almost done."
Zoro hadn't left yet just stood at the table with his arms crossed. He actually just heard the conversation between you and Luffy outside the door. He had a vague feeling that Luffy noticed something was wrong with you, and he walked in out of curiosity.
He was purely wishful thinking, and his body followed you unconsciously. He has a premonition that you may appear and disappear at any time, as you said, you may suddenly return to your own world.
He wants to hold on to you and not let go. Once he lets go, you will really disappear from his world. This also means from now on, the two of you will really be friends who can never meet again in different worlds.
He knows very well that he cannot control your appearance, because it is an unknown ability that brings you. He knows that since that ability can bring you, it can take you away at any time.
"I'm done!" You get off the chair.
Your voice brought him back to the present "Oh, good."
"Zoro, are you okay?" You stood in front of him to make sure he was okay.
He took a step back and looked away, "I'm fine."
"Liar. You don't look okay at all." His expression clearly showed that he was uneasy.
He was very annoyed when you poked a sore spot "Tch."
"Zoro...do you have something to say to me?" You don't know if it's your imagination, but you want to know what Zoro is thinking now.
He couldn't help but think about it, but after thinking about it he felt strange. Should he ask or not? He still compromised. He clenched the scabbard in his hand to calm himself, "I want to ask... if have the opportunity to return to your World, will you go back?"
His question poked deep into your heart. You had indeed thought about this question. If you could really make your own choice, what would you choose, whether you would go back or stay.
"You don't need to answer, I'm just asking casually." Zoro noticed that your expression had changed, he think about it and quickly change the subject with you.
Zoro looked a little flustered. You knew in your heart that he wanted to end the topic, but the question he asked was indeed a question that you had to think about and choose. "You are right to ask, it is the question I should be thinking about."
"Oh..." Zoro was a little at a loss because you didn't change the topic.
Zoro gives you the impression he is someone who knows right from wrong. Coupled with his super combat power and keen insight, he is like the strongest support for the entire team.
You believe that he has seen through your inner doubts before asking you this question. You don't hate the fact that he is straightforward and cares about other people's feelings. Getting along with him makes you feel much more at ease.
"If I could choose whether to go back or not...Zoro, as long as you ask me to stay, I will definitely stay." You haven't figured out how to answer yet, so you tell him in a naughty tone.
Zoro's current expression is one of surprise with eyes wide open "Huh!?"
"Hahaha, I'm kidding. I just haven't figured out the answer yet. I'll tell you as soon as I think about it." Zoro's reaction is really cute. You smile and answer your current thoughts.
He didn't know why felt an impulse surge in his heart for a moment, and he told himself to calm down in annoyance. Zoro, who was now in a good mood, just smiled softly and touched your forehead with his finger, "Idiot."
"Hehehe." You continued without saying anything and just laughed in front of him.
"Yuki-chwan~ Do you need my help?~" Sanji wanted to sneak in to take a look at you, but Zoro was there. He immediately rushed over stand between you and Zoro. "Hey! Marimo! You want to do something to Yuki-chwan again? !"
"Huh? What are you talking about again..." Zoro was indeed a little impatient.
You gently moved your fingers on Sanji's shoulders, "I've done the dishes."
Sanji turned around and saw your face so close. His eyes turned into loving hearts and his hands were waving in the air, "Thank you~ Yuki-chwan~ You must have been working very hard today~"
You shook your head, "No. I just want to thank you for hosting me."
Sanji raised your hand and put it under his lips. "No, it's actually just my wishful thinking that I want to be nice to you."
You are not good at dealing with Sanji's personality. You know that he treats you out of kindness. Although you are very happy but is difficult to adapt and strange suddenly have such special treatment.
You want to stop but you don't know how to say it. It would be rude. While you were troubled, Zoro went to the cupboard to get a tall pot and covered Sanji's head to plunge him into darkness.
Zoro pushed Sanji away then grabbed your hand with a wicked smile "Let's go."
"Hahaha..." You were frightened by his actions but amused.
You both fled the kitchen together leaving poor Sanji with a tall pot on his head and yelling "Damn Marimooooooo!"
You escaped to the front of the boat and made sure Sanji didn't catch you. Then you breathed a sigh of relief and found a place to sit down. Thanks to Zoro for saving, otherwise you really don’t know how to refuse.
You two looked at each other, and couldn't help but burst into laughter holding stomachs. Although sorry for Sanji, the scene of the head being covered just now was really hilarious.
After you finished laughing, you sat there stared at the night sky in a daze. It's incredible to be able to look at the sky in the middle of the sea. It's like the sky and the sea are so close but so far away visually.
The vast sky and sea may seem calm and beautiful, they can never erase your feeling of loneliness and helplessness. Frankly speaking, you are actually very scared when you enter another strange world.
Fear is normal. Coming to a strange world, woke up in a sea, suddenly sank into the sea, with a talking reindeer, a singing skeleton and all kinds of weirdos.
The emotions you were holding back surged up in your heart in an instant. You hugged your legs rested your forehead on your knees. You wanted to cry but hold back the tears because Zoro was sitting next to you and didn't want to affect him by your emotion.
Zoro touches you "Are you sleepy?"
You just shake your head.
He is annoyed by the way you are silent now and doesn't understand what he should do. He is not good at comforting and expressing his thoughts. He is more like the type who silently protects people from behind, but now he can only give it a try.
"Erm...the night is particularly beautiful today?" Zoro muttered but so embarrassed by what he said.
You raised your head and looked at him with dumbfounded eyes. Although there were tears in your eyes, what he said caught your attention. You tilted your head and wondered why he suddenly said such embarrassing words.
Zoro was startled and there were tears in your eyes. He was wondering if he had said the wrong thing, but he just said it casually. He scratched his head and couldn't understand.
You wiped your tears "What are you doing?"
"It's nothing. Don't pay attention to me." He relieved his embarrassment and looked at the sky.
You can probably guess from Zoro's reaction that he is not very good at expressing himself. He looks cool and strong, but he is very gentle and considerate, he doesn't show it. You know that he cares about what's going on, and you are really happy.
You smiled slightly, "I'm just a little scared, being in a strange world. Being alone in a world I'm not familiar with..."
Zoro interrupted before you could finish your sentence. "You are no longer alone."
His words moved you to tears. You tried to wipe away your tears but were stopped by Zoro's hand. Instead, he was wiping away your tears. You said nothing and just watched him comfort you with this small gesture.
"Thank you." You simply said.
He took back his hand and faced you, "You might as well tell me..."
You hesitated for a moment. Since everyone is Nakama, it doesn't matter if you tell him. If he wants to listen, let him listen. If he doesn't want to, just go away.
You clasped your hands and pondered for a moment before you started to say, "I miss my parents. I don't know if they miss me."
"Huh?" he asked.
"My parents and I are separated in two places. I am alone in Japan, and they work abroad, so I cannot see them often. I can only contact them by making phone calls."
"But... gradually I can't contact them anymore. I only know that my parents will remit money to me every month. Now I am in this world, I feel very warm. Everybody here who have filled my loneliness."
You looked down at your legs with tears in your eyes and your vision began to blur.
"So whether your parents are still alive, you only know through that thing called remittance..." Zoro doesn't understand what remittance means, but he probably understands you.
You nodded slightly, "Yes. Obviously we are a family but I feel very lonely. So I am very curious whether they will miss me and whether they will be sad when their daughter disappears suddenly."
"I don't know your parents' thoughts or reasons for alienating you. Now we have filled your loneliness, you can enjoy this world start from today on." Zoro crossed his hands and looked at you smile slightly.
You rested your head on his shoulder and closed your eyes "Zoro...you are so gentle."
"Ha!" He was a little embarrassed but not disgusted with you leaned on his shoulder.
"Huh..." A slight snoring sound was heard.
Zoro glanced at you "No way! Did you really fall asleep?!"
He poked your cheek saw that you were not awake. He scratched his head and was worried. He really couldn't do anything to you, he would wait until you were completely asleep before taking you back to the room. He was just chatting with you, but you fell asleep comfortably, leaving him alone in embarrassment.
His clothes expose his chest muscles, he can vaguely feel the warmth of your breath transmitted to him. He pinched his own wrist to suppress the turmoil in his heart. You are just a girl but you can make him feel itchy.
The one-line collar top reveals your fragrant shoulders and collarbones, your hair has a light floral fragrance, and your body moves with the rhythm of your breathing. You looked so innocent sleeping on the shoulder of a beast like him.
"Unsuspecting idiot." He lifted your hair.
Suddenly you rub his shoulder and say, "Zo...ro..."
"Damn...!" He covered his face.
He picked you up while you were sleeping, your face resting on his chest, and he felt the warmth of your breath getting closer and closer. He pushed open your door with his shoulder, walked in, gently and carefully placed you on the bed.
"Cute sleeping face." He poked your cheek several times.
When he stood up to leave the room, he heard "Zo...ro..." It was you moaning.
He sighed loudly and walked to your bedside pull up a chair and sit down. Your unsuspecting and innocent appearance aroused a burning desire in his heart. He clenched his fists told himself to calm down.
But he finally couldn't bear the feeling of saying his name from your mouth. He slowly stood up held your hand. His slowly came closer to your lips. He realize that your face was close and really beautiful at first glance.
When he couldn't resist the urge in his heart and wanted to kiss you secretly, you suddenly turned over and slept on the other side. He was fortunate realize that he almost made a mistake to you and immediately fell into embarrassment.
"What the hell am I doing..." He stood up and stood by the door, holding the doorknob.
After he calms down, leaves your room and goes outside to relax. He went to the kitchen get a bottle of wine and find Franky who was guarding at night. He sat down and started drinking heavily. He almost kissed you by mistake just now, but luckily he controlled it.
"Can't you sleep?" Franky adjusted his robot hand.
He put down the wine"Well, drink some wine so that can sleep better."
"What's wrong with you? Your ears are a little red. Do you have a fever?" Franky pointed to his ears.
"A little drunk." He said Franky casually.
Franky became suspicious and found it hard to believe, "You drunk?"
Zoro realized that he seemed have said the wrong thing, he chose to avoid the question and continued drinking his wine. Franky vaguely noticed something was wrong with Zoro, but he ignored it and continued to do his own thing.
As time passed little by little, it was already morning time. You was tired from getting used to the new environment and cleaning yesterday so slept for a long time, longer than usual.
Someone was running in the corridor, and the sound was getting closer to your room. Luffy opened your door and shouted, "Get up! Breakfast!"
You don't feel very angry when you wake up just your face looks bad every time you wake up. You lifted the quilt and sat up from the bed, glaring at Luffy who was standing there with a silly smile. Your eyes were sharp, but Luffy felt a fierce aura coming towards from you.
"Bye!" Then he ran away without closing the door.
You looked around realized there was your soft bed in your room, but why was the wooden chair next to your bed? It was obviously placed next to the wardrobe. Maybe you pulled it over yesterday and forgot about it.
You get out of bed leave the room and look up to see a clear sky with the sun shining brightly. The sun is not that close to you at home, but now you feel that the sun here is really bright.
Because the sun was very dazzling, you covered your eyes with hands and went to look for other companions. You see Ussop, Chopper and Luffy hanging out together. Robin sat alone and read a book silently.
You walked up to Robin, she patted the empty space with her hand to signal you sit down. You sat down and opened your mouth to yawn. You admired Luffy for being so energetic and lively so early.
"Oh, didn't you get enough sleep?" Robin closed the book.
"I'm not used to waking up early~" You yawned and fell asleep on her shoulder.
Robin looked at your behavior this morning and snickered, "Hehehe, so cute."
She continues to read her book quietly without disturbing you. Nami greeted everyone before walking towards where you and Robin were. Nami sat next to you and leaned back in the chair, chatting quietly with Robin.
"Such a soft face!" Nami poked your cheek gently.
Robin laughed "Hehehe."
"The hair is so messy. This little girl must not have combed her hair when she woke up." Nami ran her fingers through your hair.
Robin waved "Nami..."
Nami understood Robin's idea and nodded.
The two of them secretly used a comb and hair tie to create a new hairstyle for you while you were still asleep. Brook and Sanji came around to join in the fun.
You vaguely felt many eyes staring at you, making you uncomfortable. You opened your eyes slightly saw Chopper sitting on your lap. You were surprised why Sanji had love eyes and Brook covered his mouth with hands.
You felt a cool breeze blowing on your neck. You didn't remember that you had your hair tied up when you went out. Robin and Nami were sitting next to you and kept smiling. Did they do something to your hair?
Chopper took out a mirror for you to look at, and you saw a double braid look. You were not good at braiding hairstyles, so you simply tied a ponytail every day. Now you liked the new look very much.
"Nami! Robin! Thank you!" You smiled.
Robin smiled slightly and said, "As long as you like it."
Nami likes "Let's us braid your hair from now on~"
"It suits you very well~Yuki-chwan~" Sanji praised you with loving eyes.
You looked in the mirror and stroked your braided hair. The two of them were really good at creating such complicated styles. You saw Zoro coming over with a yawn, and you handed the mirror back to Chopper.
Zoro yawned "Hwahh~ Why are you gathering here?"
"What do you think of Yuki's hairstyle?" Ussop pointed at you.
He glanced at you and held out his hand with a chuckle, "Yeah, it fits."
"Hehehe" you smiled and let him stroke your hair.
"Hey~ I saw the island!" Franky informed the two of you who were chatting.
Luffy immediately jumped up "Yahoooooo~Island~"
You looked the direction of an island pointed by Franky. Ussop handed you a telescope to let you see more clearly. Through the telescope, you saw many ships docked at the island's pier.
There are a lot of colorful decorations on the pier, which is a custom of the island's carnival. You put away telescope and prepare for the fun time to come with anticipation and excitement.
Zoro stood behind saw you and Chopper looking very expectant and excited. He was secretly happy. To be honest, he was really looking forward to arriving at the island as soon as possible. Maybe it was your reason that infected him.
To Be Continued—

summary: you and trafalgar law reconnect after a month
cw: MDNI, soft sex, sub!law (barely), tinder use
Tumblr media
☆彡
he has that feeling again. loneliness and boredom are taking over his mind. he misses you so much. before, you were always the main focus in his life and he liked it that way. the feelings he has for you are indescribable. he would give you the world if you asked. though, he knew good things take time, and he was willing to wait.
you were never a couple but he always felt that is was you that were meant for him. even if that meant him getting hurt in the long run, he would still never get together with another person or feel like how he did with you. he just wanted to know if he could be something more. fuck buddies is nice but he knows there is a connection.
tinder is gross but he’s swiping again. just trying to see your image pop up, it’s like a routine at this point. he’s self aware of his actions but absolutely does not care. although, he hasn’t swiped on you yet. he was too scared of what might happen if you actually matched. he would be so relieved if it were to happen but that weird feeling rested in his stomach again that made him think.
in the past when you guys were closer, the two of you would share countless thoughts and memories, even explored many new ways to feel good. he knew everything about you and you knew everything about him. he wanted nothing more than to constantly be around you like a little puppy dog.
you on the other felt as if you could never be in a happy relationship, seeing past relationships with the people around were never a great example. too good to be true. you still loved people regardless, loved him. you just thought you needed to heal yourself first.
law was staring intently at his phone screen as he was hunched up in his dark bed room. tension fills the space as he thinks if now is a good time,, that sinking feeling in his chest makes his mind wander. i want her to be mine.
curiosity got the best of him and his breathing stoped.
panic formed within him seeing that the two of you had matched. he needed to see you, and now he had the opportunity. with a few short messages he was on his way over to your place. he wanted to ask questions. god he missed you.
“it’s only been a month since we ended our situationship?? relationshi-,, anyway. can’t wait. wanna she how she’s doing. hope she’s healthy ‘n well taken care of.”
his inked hands were firm on the wheel as more thoughts of you flooded his mind. soon he would pull into your driveway.
“y/n”
he stood tall as he entered the doorway of your apartment.
he looked so good like this. ruffled up hair, coarseness in his voice, loose clothing that were stained with his scent from the day. the late hours of the night really makes him look,,,,
and you looked so good as well he thought. he even froze, forgetting what he came here to talk to you about in the first place. the thoughts slipped his mind and somehow the two of you ended up in your sheets.
“i couldn’t stay away ahh, had to come see you” he breathed as he layed beneath you. you were placed on both sides of his thighs and hips, sitting pretty. playfully biting the tips of his lobes and placing tender kisses along his jaw.
his hands slowly started to gain their comfortability back as you found them slowing caressing themselves on the fat of your hips. you could feel his grip tightening and you let a sweet giggle escape your lips, “missed ya baby, i wanna treat you so so bad.”
seeing the tightness in his pants is making you even more aroused. anticipation is flowing though your aching cunt. you always loved the way he would be with you, so soft and always letting you to be the one to call the shots. you liked to have a little fun with him, enjoyed seeing him whine for you,
“y/n ah~ please, i need to feel you” hearing his begs and pleads, you had to give in. you needed him too. “i know baby,” you press against his parted lips softly, tugging on the lower one.
you sink down on him sighing deeply at his length. moving painfully slow trying to get more sweet words out of him. his cock twitched inside of you as he barely got to taste the feeling of your cervix against his tip. “y/n ya~ i know your doing this on purpose” he whined trying to get you to move against him.
“mmmokay baby i’m ready now”
with the okay, he whimpered, knowing the feeling of ecstasy that was about to flood his body.
his strong hands were still on your hips as he fucks up into you. slowwwlyyy. the feeling of your silky walls clenching him made his head spin.
“mmm fuckk law~” your head falls back causing pressure to build in your windpipe. he slides out of you and slips his dick between your slick folds. using the weight of his hands to pull and grind you against him. your eyes are squeezing as you feel the pleasure building in your cunt. slick sounds filling the room.
“feel so good baby, such a perfect pussy ahh~” feeing your warmth has him soo close. “can i come inside baby, is that okay?” you can feel his chest breathing deeply as he supports your weight on top of him.
you need it, so so bad. “mmm FUCK. YES. laww put it back insideee. i wanna feel you muhhhhh shiiiit baby i’m so close pleasee.” you missed his dick so much. just perfect for you.
with your word he wraps one arm under your slick thighs and wraps the other with one of your arms. with his steady hold, he picks you up and lays you on you back so he can watch your pretty face as you cum for him.
his yellow eyes looked into yours as he lined up to your entrance, “y/n-yaa” he sighed as he pushed in your sopping cunt with ease.
you legs wrapped around his torso as he bottomed out, toes currling tight as trying to make sure you get all of him inside.. “ahh yes law please- ahh please move baby-“ and so he did. thrusting deep and slow as he muffled delicious noises against your neck. “y/n i wanna cum baby. are you- ah ahh fuck- y/n are you ready, pretty girl?”
you nodded your head as you try to match his strokes, truly trying to chase your own high. his dick is magic. “SHHIIT BABY I’M COMING!! please don’t st- stopppmghhhh” he fucks up into your cunt with a bit more pace now causing him to finally release his hot cum deep within your pussy.
his twitches feel sooo fucking good inside as you both come down from your releases. his damp forehead coming to rest down on your own. “such a good girl fa me” he says between pants, lips softy coming to greet yours.
you couldn’t hide the warmth that spread to your cheeks. oh how you missed him, your sweet man. things feel how they should. this is okay, right? thoughts of his messages flood your mind as you feel him snuggle against you.
we have to talk in the morning..
an: law is obsessed with you!!!! you love him right?!?!?!?!!!!???!

Saw your marineford fix it rec list. Loved the fics so much. Do you have any fic recs where corazon lives? I love that dead man so much
Hi! I'm so glad you liked the list, of course I can do that for you!
Here are some
Corazon Lives Fic Recs
I've separated it out in two ways. One where the fix happens through someone going back in time or across dimensions, so they come from a world where he did die. and I separated out the shippy content, as a lot of these works are LawLu. Hope you enjoy!

No Ship:
Stirring Up a Storm by Syluk - Rated T
The last thing Law remembered was dying. Yet now he found himself staring at a familiar face. A face that belonged to a person long dead, but very much alive again. Cora-san. If this was a second chance, Law would do anything to save him, to protect his smile and his kindness, or die trying.
Lionheart by cyan96 - Rated T
The light overhead isn't from Minion island's overcast sky but instead a steel plated ceiling shining down fluorescence, glass and plastic bottles rattling on shelves against the walls. Everywhere there's monitors and familiar machinery and the distinct tang of antiseptic, sharp beyond the memory sense of blood and snow. For half a second Law looks at it all very blankly and thinks, What The Hell. Is he dreaming. Is he hallucinating. Is he just plain dead. His sight-line completes the rotation of this impossibility to fall upon speckled jeans and a long sweeping coat. And the man standing in front of Law has the blankest expression Law's ever seen. And the man standing in front of Law has Law's father's face. Underneath Law's blood-slicked fingers, Cora-san's pulse shudders. (This is a story where the past and the present collide. Wherein thirteen year old Trafalgar Law and twenty-six year old Rocinante tumble sideways through time-space via the blue desperation of a newly eaten devil fruit, from Minion island to a future distant. Right, unwittingly, onto the submarine deck of a another Law shortly after Doflamingo’s fall.)
A World So Quiet by scarlet_thunder - Rated T
Snowflakes float gently in the air. Law has no idea when it started snowing. There is frost forming around the railing, almost reaching his fingers. Everything seems too calm. An odd sense of dread fills Law as they approach the island. He should finally feel at peace. It all just feels too familiar. Another winter island over a decade ago, it was snowing back then as well.   After defeating Kaido and Big Mom, the Heart pirates momentarily part ways with the Strawhats. They find themselves sailing towards a small winter island in the New World. The island is coated in a heavy blanket of snow, making everything eerily quiet. In the forest, Corazon feels like the last thread of life he is hanging onto is slowly slipping away. Or, Corazon lives.
blame it on the grand line by jsjsjs - Rated G
No matter how many times he tried to push them away, images of Flevance resurfaced. (in which 13-year-old law gets time zapped to a post-wano polar tang and chaos ensues, resulting in two thoroughly angsty trafalgars, twenty highly confused heart pirates, and later on, one wholesome dad rosinante).
Stasis by petiteneko - Rated G
Unbeknownst to Law, Corazon did not actually die that day. Twelve years later, he learns the truth of what really happened.
Testimonial by owl_beans - Rated G
It's too good to be true. Cora-san couldn't be alive. Shouldn't be alive. Law isn't going to believe this perfect impostor until he proves beyond a doubt that he really is Cora-san. And even if he is, what does it mean for Law?
LawLu:
Rainbow Mist by vindobonensis - Rated M
On the way to Zou, the Barto-Club and the members of the Strawhats they have on board come across an odd Grand Line phenomenon - a Rainbow Mist. But when Luffy ventures into it, chasing adventure, he returns with something - or rather someone - entirely unexpected. Set after Dressrosa. Not canon-compliant after that. Eventual Law x Luffy.
seesaw by Lolistar92 - Rated G
Rayleigh nods. “Roger explained it after. It’s a trial for those that carry the Will of the D. A chance to face your greatest life’s regret. Change destiny.” Law’s brows scrunch together. “This isn’t my -”  he pauses, something clicking. “We switched.” Or, the Pirate King cannot have regrets.

Small Changes by SweetScentences - Rated T
Doflamingo and his crew don't touch the treasure chest Law is hidden in. A few other things change too.
Little White Lies by PitViperOfDoom - Rated T
It's not quite an idea, only a piece of one. Barely a notion. But it's something, in the same way that the Ope-Ope fruit is not quite a cure but the first step toward being cured. Cora has given him that much, and the least Law can do is give back.
Red Hair Law by Eraman - Rated T
When Akagami no Shanks hears about a tall blonde man blowing up hospitals he wants to figure out what this is all about. One thing leads to another and now the Red Hair Pirates have two new members and a little kid they all kind of adopt. Especiall Benn and Shanks. Things doesn't start out too smoothly though… who knew being a parent could be so difficult?
To Live Free by KivaEmber - Rated G
Corazon wakes up. Considering he's supposed to be dead, this is pretty confusing.
Spring Storms and Paperwork (and how Sengoku feels about that) by Kasmusser - Rated G
A spring storm rolls in over Marineford leaving Sengoku little to do but paperwork. He mostly just rubberstamps the work of others. He gets a bit of surprise and changes an opinion. Otherwise known as Sengoku thought his son was dead and learns the truth through a bounty
LawLu:
Supportive Granddads United by LannisPuff - Rated T
Garp the Fist, hero of the marines and doting grandfather. One of those two was less known to the world, but certainly a defining trait for those who knew him. So when his precious grandson is suffering from his soulmates unknown illness, Garp is not going to sit idle.
it'll work out fine by stainedXglassXmasquerade - Rated G
Everyone knows strange things happen on the Grand Line. Dreams from an unknown future aren't as common, but, well, Luffy's a D and all the information checks out. In which Garp and Sengoku interfere and collect people as they go, Luffy gets a best friend and two brothers for his birthday, Drake is brought along for the ride, Shanks isn't arrested on sight and Makino is happy that everyone's becoming good friends.
Take out as in on a date, right? by chenziee - Rated G
When Admiral Trafalgar Law was ordered to "take Straw Hat Luffy out," he thought it was strange. But who was he to defy his superiors?

Chapter 8
Trafalgar Law x Fem!Reader
Info: This is my first time posting a story on Tumblr and my first time writing a x reader.
Summary:
The reader is a slave to a nobleman due to her devil's fruit ability which allows her to control the emotions of the people around her. She flees to bump into Trafalgar Law and boards his ship.
This is a slow-burn-type story with a sad ending.
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4 Chapter 5 Chapter 6 Chapter 7 Chapter 8 Chapter 9 Chapter 10 Chapter 11
The law showed you the office where he had made a bed for you next to the window. He had the crew bring in all the gifts they had bought you to decorate the office to help remind you of who you were. It did not work as you barely glanced at the items.
Over the next week, Law tried everything he could to help remind you of who you were by showing you your favorite books or telling you stories of your time together. Each time you would respond with, "Master Law I sense you are feeling sad would you like me to help you feel happy." and show your glowing blue hand.
Law began to feel guilty for locking you in the office for so long but he was afraid of the crew's reaction to your current state. After a week of hiding your condition from the crew Law called everyone to the cafeteria for a meeting.
When everyone arrived they eagerly awaited Law's message. The captain stood up in front of everyone, "As you know y/n has returned however she is not how you all remember her. 8 months after y/n went to Amazon Lily she was captured by DoFlamingo." upon hearing that news everyone gasped and ruptured of questions filled the room. Law coughed to regain everyone's attention. "the good news is y/n is safe and will never be pursued again. The bad news is she has lost her memory and DoFlamingo has conditioned her into..." his words paused trying to get the words out. "a slave."
The room burst into concern at the word Law couldn't help but form tears in his eyes but quickly sucked them away before continuing. "I am telling you this because the y/n that you once knew is gone. I don't want any of you trying to push her into remembering who she was or forcing her into doing anything. She will also offer to change your emotions if she notices you in distress I ask that none of you accept that offer."
The entire crew had so many questions for their captain but he refused to acknowledge them, "y/n will be returning to the crew tomorrow." the captain then stormed out the door and into his bedroom where he locked himself in for the remanded of the day to avoid the crew's questions.
The next day you came out of the office following closely behind Law as he went through what used to be your daily routine. First going to the shower before anyone else woke up, then checking around the sub to create a chore list for the day. Then eat breakfast with the crew. That was the hardest part for everyone as you sat quietly next to Law eating as little as you could and when Law finished his meal you jumped up and collected his dish asking if he wanted more. All eyes avoided looking at you too sad to see you acting so different.
You and Law then sat on the bridge ensuring that the sub was on track for the next island. During lunchtime, you and Law stayed in the office so he could work on paperwork while he encouraged you to read one of your favorite books but you chose to hover over Law while he worked.
Dinner was the next hard task for everyone again watching you sit unnaturally next to Law awaiting his commands.
This routine continued for weeks and the crew never became accustomed to it and would tear up whenever you sensed their emotions and asked to fix it. For the most part, you never left Law's side except for at night when you would sleep in the office so Law can finally have his break to cry himself to sleep in his room missing your space on the bed being filled.
One day Law ordered the crew to drop him and you off at Punk Hazard before Bepo took everyone to Zou. This was all a part of a master plan to take DoFlamingo down and while the crew was upset to be parted from their captain they were excited for Law to destroy the man who hurt them. Law sent them away to protect them from Flamingo knowing if he got his hands on another crew member he could never forgive himself. The only reason he took you with him was because he still hoped that he could fix you.
Law was still concerned for your safety and made a base on the island slightly away from the lab for you to stay whenever Law felt unsure about the people he shared the island with. One day the island was filled with chaos as the straw hat pirates arrived. The moment Law saw the Straw Hats he retrieved you from the lab and escorted you to the base where he locked you in with a book to read. When asked about your location Law would simply state that you were working on some paperwork.
It didn't take long after Law's betrayal for Caesar the gas gas devil fruit owner and the person in charge of the lab to send his men to your room to retrieve you as leverage to only find the room empty. Law was relieved he had the intuition to create that base for you and to bring you there today.
With Straw Hats' help, Law was able to successfully destroy the lab, free the trapped children, and capture Caesar. The first part of Law's plan has succeeded, and now with an alliance established with the pirates, he can continue his plan for revenge on the flamingo monster.
The Pirates and the Marines were celebrating their victory while Law disappeared to retrieve you.
He opened the door to see you patiently waiting carefully reading your book. As soon as Law opened the door you jumped up into a bow to welcome him back. Law sighed coming in and grabbing a bag, "How far did you get in your book?" He asked calmly as he gathered the small amount of belongings that the two of you had stored in the base.
"I successfully read 10 chapters of Master Law." You responded and Law hummed.
"And what happened?" He asked looking at the book you were reading. Your eye had the smallest of shifts to the lightest shade of yellow before you responded explaining what used to be your favorite character did in a monotone but Law did not miss the shift of color in your eyes before they returned back to the white they have been since you returned. He smirked happy with your answer as he finished packing. It has been a hard battle to break you out of the emotionless barrier Flamingo has placed you in but a small glimpse of your eyes. shifting gave him hope no matter how small it was.
"We are leaving the island y/n," Law stated swinging the bag onto his back and handing you a fluffy jacket. Which you took and nodded.
The two of you returned to the ships where the Straw Hats and Marines continued to party. When you arrived the heads of the Straw Hat crew turned to you, all the things the crew thought the scary surgeon of death would return with you were not what they were expecting. Law immediately saw the eyes on you and whispered in your ear to go get some food for yourself and him. You turned to face Law, "Yes Master Law." You said bowing your head before turning toward the bowl of soup that the cook Sanji had made and the Marines who sang holding their bowls.
Sanji was the first to notice your actions and jump onto the captain of the heart pirates, "Did that lady just call you Master!" He grumbled getting into the face of Law who snarled at the cook's reaction, "Is she some sort of slave to you!"
"I heard rumors of him picking up a slave after he became a warlord but I didn't think it was true," Robin noted now walking up to the forming fight. Nami, Chopper, and Franky stayed back watching the scene unfold while Luffy and Brooke continued to enjoy the party and Zoro remained happy in a corner drinking away.
Law shoved the cook out of his way which resulted in the cook grabbing the captain's arm and holding him back, "I knew you were some kind of messed up creep the moment I saw you at the human auction But actually holding a beautiful lady as your slave is disgraceful!" The cook growled.
Law shoved the grip of the cook off his arm, "She is not a slave!" the captain growled in return. "She was my girlfriend."
Sanji's jaw dropped allowing his cigarette to fall from his mouth. "What's that supposed to mean!" The cook snapped.
Luckily Robin seems to notice, "Sanji hold on a moment. Let Traffy explain." Robin held her arms in a cross ready to use her powers if needed.
Law looked at the woman understanding if he didn't explain then he would have to deal with more drama than he would like. Law sighed and went to sit down as he was followed by the crew awaiting the story, "y/n was a slave because of her powers of the feel feel fruit before she became a part of my crew three years ago While part of my crew I protected y/n from her master but he kept sending hunters after her. y/n left for Amazon Lily for protection and to control her observation Haki. But Doflamingo got her." Law's jaw clenched while recalling the story, "He turned her into that."
Sanji observed the single tear that threatened to fall from Law's eye as he gazed over at you waiting patiently in line for some soup. Sanji's jaw clenched, "So this Doflamingo guy is who we are going after next." Sanji watched as Luffy excitedly ran up to you. The rest of the crew seemed to agree that this flamingo guy would be the next victim of Luffy's rampage.
They all watched as Luffy ran up to you, "I know you!" He shouted shoving food in his mouth. You apologized bowing your head and saying you didn't know who he was. "No, we met before it's y/n-y right??" Law's full attention was on the interaction between the two of you, The only time Luffy met you was on Amazon Lily when he was completely insane and not cognitive of your presence. "You were with the Amazons when they visited the island during my training." Luffy smiled, "You look different."
Of course, when you were with the Amazons you probably assisted them with Luffy's care Law thought while you stared at Luffy with your blank white stare. Luffy's silly attitude shifted to a serious one and grabbed your hands, "You can read emotions right?" he asked before placing his hand on top of yours. Law immediately stood up in defensiveness and started to push his way over to you.
"Can you read my emotions?" Luffy asked placing both his hands on yours. You nod before closing your eyes and you take in his emotions.
Law now grew concerned and was about to shout at the straw hat captain when Robin grabbed his shoulder, "Wait a moment." She held him back as your eyes bolted open showing the brightest color orange that Law had ever seen Law gasped as your smile returned. Both you and Luffy began laughing but tears started to flood out of your eyes despite your joyful look.
Your eyes began searching and your head yanked around until you landed on, "LAW!" You shout cheerfully.  Law gasped you didn't call him master and you looked at him with a smile you hadn't shown since the day you were taken from him. You started to lean towards Law wanting nothing more to run to him. You let go of Luffy who was flooding you with the feeling of freedom in a way you have never felt before. you start your run toward Law with tears flowing down your face but the longer you are away from Luffy's touch the more the white emotionless shield covers your vision.
Law ran up to you while watching the color drain from your eyes again and you slowed down. By the time you and Law met you returned to your previous state standing still with your hand held in front of you. Law grabbed onto your stiff body and pulled you into a hug with tears flooding into your shoulder.
"Interesting," Robin spoke up while the rest of the straw hat crew held their mouths closed while they teared up over the scene in front of them. "It seems that Luffy's never-ending feelings of freedom and joy were able to overwhelm Doflamingo's conditioning."
"Traffy hold her down!" Luffy shouted surprising everyone. Behind you, Luffy had a serious look on his face and his hand was covered in Haki as he held it up threateningly. Law looked at the pirate captain with wide eyes as the boy slammed his hand onto the back of your neck. That's when Law realized what was happening. On the back of your neck, Luffy was pulling a piece of string out from your neck, as he pulled more string came out pulling out of your body.
You start to scream at the feeling of the string being yanked out of your body but Law holds you tight pressing the top of your head into his shoulder to keep it still. Law was beyond upset with himself how did he not see the strings that Flamingo probably used to control your brain and was probably the reason for your amnesia.
When the end of the string popped out of your neck you stopped screaming and collapsed in Law's arms.
Luffy used his Haki to destroy the thin string before turning back to his stilly attitude and back to the party shouting his hurrays while he ate more. He didn't even acknowledge the miracle he had just performed in Law's eyes as he held you close.
"Law" you mumble quietly and Law looks down at your eyes which return to the normal color of your natural eyes. He cupped your face gently before you pushed yourself upwards and into a kiss which Law gratefully returned holding the back of your head in support.

Chapter Seven: Two Years Later
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾ ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☁︎
One thing that I can say about these last two years is that they have been a living hell Traffy Laffy literally worked me like a dog signing papers cooking cleaning training you name it he had me doing it. It even caused us to get into a few fights I wasn’t going to be doing everything while he sat in his office.
“What ya thinking about” Law grumbled from in front of me as. We were both currently abroad on my brother's ship having to share a room due to the fact that there weren’t enough bedrooms for us to have our own space
“Just thinking about how much shit you put me through in the last two years” I huff as I sank into the couch I was sitting on
“Stop whining and get back to work” Law grumbled from his desk slightly giving me a glare not really wanting to deal with me at the moment
“Where not even on the polar tang and you're still making write on these damn papers the rooms going to be filled to the brim by the time we get back to the crew” I mumble as I dramatically slid down the couch and onto the floor
“Well I would maybe think your ass would finally get the hang of our routine,” Law said as he kept his eyes on his papers
“I hate that you're right” I growl as I get up off the floor making sure to adjust my clothes
“I’m always right Scar” Law mumbled as he looked up at me causing my cheeks to slightly flush
“Yea you fucking wish Traffy Laffy” I snap stubbornly crossing my arms over my chest and trying to hide the fact that I was intimidated by his stare
“Mh” Law hummed “Just do the papers and then you free to go,” Law said as he pinched the bridge of his nose
“You're lucky that you're my captain” I huff as I flop on the couch
“I bet,” Law said as he leaned back in his chair crossing his arms over his chest so that his full attention was on me
“Why are you looking at me like that” I ask my captain once I notice the annoyed expression on his face
“Nothin just waiting for you to shut your mouth” Law shrugged causing me to instantly feel pissed
“Why you little shit” I snap as I get up from my seat to walk over to him to slap him for being a jerk
“How about ya stop hitting me for once” Law growled as he grabbed my wrist mid-air causing me to let out a quiet yelp in surprise
“How about you stop being a jerk to me for once” I snap as I try to break free from his grip
“Who else is going to discipline you” Law growled as he pulled me closer by the wrist causing me to slightly stumble forward making me grab Law's knees to catch my balance
“Fuck off” I choke out feeling nervous from our awkward position
“Whatever you're free for tonight but you're doing extra work tomorrow,” Law said as he let me go causing me to immediately move away from him
“Fine by me I’m going to go have Sanji make us some dinner” I mumble as I make my way out of our room trying to avoid eye contact
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾ ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☁︎
“Scarlett my love what can I get for you” the blonde cook asked me as I entered the Kitchen
“I was going to see if you would make some food for me and Traffy were kinda hungry,” I ask as stand across from him behind the kitchen counter
“Of course Scar anything for you” Sanji said as he spun circles around the kitchen
“Thank you Sanji I’m starving” I giggle
“It’s an honor to make food for my captain's older sister,” Sanji said as he began to cook our meals
“I’m going to go see the girls while you're doing that,” I say giving the man a smile as I take my leave.
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾ ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☁︎
“So he’s giving you a hard time,” Nami said as we sat in a circle with Robin in the middle of her bedroom floor
“Yeah but I can’t complain” I huff “The man is the reason why I’m still breathing” I chuckle mentally thanking my captain for all that he has done for me
“Trust me I understand” Nami laughed “Your brother can be quite the handful”
“Yeah I know but I wouldn’t change him for the world tho ” I giggle
“I Agree he’s quite the person,” Robin said joining our conversation
“SCARLETT COME PLAY TAG WITH ME AND CHOPPER” Luffy said as he came barging into the room nearly breaking the door in the process
“Shit Luffy you scared the fuck out of us” I laugh once I see Robin and Nami laid out on the floor with terrified expressions on their faces
“Heh my bad” Luffy chucked
“You fine and I will after I take Traffy Laffy his dinner,” I say as I get up off the floor making sure not to step on the girls
“HECK YEA” Luffy screamed as he dashed out of the room
⋆⁺₊⋆ ☾ ⋆⁺₊⋆ ☁︎
“Here’s your dinner,” I say as I walk into mine and Law's room
“Just sit it on the desk,” Law said from the bed he was currently spread out on with his shirt slightly lifted up showing off his toned stomach
“Is everything alright?” I ask my captain finding it unusual that he’s taking a break
“Yeah just have a headache” Law mumbled as his tattooed hands covered his face
“Come eat and drink some water” I say placing our plates on his desk
“It might make you feel better,” I say going over to the man grabbing his wrist trying to pull him out of bed
“Okay alright I’m getting up” Law mumbled as he gently pulled his wrist out of my hand
“What have you been up to,” Traffy Laffy asked as he walked over to his desk to grab his plate
“Nothing really been hanging out with the girls,” I say making my way toward him
“Here you need to eat as well,” Law said as he picked up my plate to hand it to me
“Thank you” I mumble taking it from his hand
“Mhm no problem” Law hummed taking a bite out of his food
“I’m sorry about earlier” I mumble remembering my tantrum
“It’s fine I understand and I was kinda a dick,” Law said as he looked down at me
“You were” I giggle deciding to give the man a hard time
“Oh yea” Law chuckled
“Yea” I laughed giving him a glance
“Maybe if you weren’t such a brat all the time I wouldn’t have to be” Law smirked knowing that it was going to irritate me
“Why you little shit” I laughed gently punching his arm
“I can’t help that your face irritates me” I mumbled taking a bite out of my food
“Mhm I’m sure it does” Law hummed with the same smirk plastered on his face
“What the hell does that mean,” I ask dumbfounded
“I don’t know what does it mean” Law chuckled

hi jester!! i saw you mention you like to write hurt/comfort and fluff alongside the smut on this blog so i'm here to ask for just that <3 could you write something where law and reader (transmasc) reunite after being separated at sabaody due to extenuated circumstances? the yearning, the affection/touch starvation, "cuddling is not enough i need to be in his clothes" type beat of longing, the works ✨
if possible could law have they/them pronouns as well? <:3 ty for your time!! 💖💓
pairing: trafalgar law x reader
contents: fluff, reunions, they/them law, soft law, a lot of yearning, transmasc reader but it's not super obvious except for one mention of chest scars, a vomiting butterflies metaphor is in here because i love when love is so sappy it makes you metaphorically sick, mentions of wanting to switch hearts with law, maybe ooc?? still trying to get ahold of law’s character
word count: 1.3k words
note: i LOVE fluff and i LOVE yearning. unsure if this counts entirely as hurt/comfort, but if you want soft law and sappy reunions, this will certainly fill that void. thank you so much for your request i had so much fun with this, i really hope you enjoy it <33

It had been too long. Excitement had your hands shaking. To keep them steady, you curled them tight against your chest, though you couldn’t keep your fingers from fidgeting with the divots between your knuckles. Your heart hammered a desperate beat in your chest as your boat approached Sabaody Archipelago, the destination where you would report back to your captain, and partner, after your extended mission away from the Polar Tang.
Neither of you wanted to be apart for so long, but it couldn’t be helped. Your natural abilities made you a perfect candidate, and as always with Law, logic won out over matters of the heart. You couldn’t fault them for it, the plan only made sense with you at the helm. For all your desire to stay, you couldn’t, you both knew that.
The night you left, Law kissed each of your knuckles tenderly, before placing their lips against your forehead, warm, if not slightly chapped. The two of you stayed like that for a moment, alone under the stars — your goodbye to the rest of the crew had happened earlier, far less intimate and far more boisterous, though you didn’t find yourself complaining — before Law pulled away, affection dancing in their eyes. A soft expression reserved only for you.
They ran the calloused pad of their thumb against your cheek one final time. “Stay safe out there, Y/N-ya.”
You shivered slightly, wishing you were back home already, not hunting Law down through the mangroves of Sabaody. Normally, you would have docked at a closer, but as per their instructions, you kept your distance. Anticipation made butterflies sing in your chest, little legs tickling your innermost organs. Imaginary wings fluttered against your sternum. Whether your nausea was caused by anxiety or desperate yearning, you weren’t sure. Either way, you felt as if you were seconds from puking a hoard of winged insects onto the mossy ground. You knew where they would go, flying to the Polar Tang ahead of you to greet your beloved captain with bile coated adoration.
Law was not the most affectionate human. Their love made itself known through small acts of service throughout the day, or quiet moments spent together, simply sharing the same space. That was your favorite. You enjoyed watching their face twitch when they were lost in thought, or engaged in a good book. Sometimes, they would read to you, your head against them as one of their tattooed fingers brushed the hair from your face. You listened with rapt attention, their voice rumbling against your ear.
You missed them. Desperately. Every part of them had made a home under your skin, from their sarcastic quips to even their most infuriating tendencies to isolate themself in times of stress. Law was not without their faults, and neither were you. They accepted you as you were, loved you at your basest form, fingers reverent against the scars on your chest. It made you want to be better, to grow and change. You wanted to be your best self with them.
First and foremost, however, you just wanted to see Law. You were certain their eyes would light up when they saw you, their smirk morphing into something more genuine.
So lost in your thoughts, you didn’t realize the Polar Tang was within eyesight. Your breath caught in your throat when you saw Law, sitting on the edge of the sub. They were alone, likely having sent the rest of the crew out to explore the Archipelago. You snickered to yourself. Law was never one for public displays of affection, and they must have known that you would refuse to hold yourself back from jumping in their arms. Not now, not this time, not after it had been so long since you felt their arms around you.
You didn’t realize you were running until you felt your breath coming in heavy pants. Law climbed down the ladder to greet you, unable to hide their pleasure through their usual smirk. Their smile was small, though the adoration in it made tears well in your eyes. You threw yourself into Law’s chest, their arms slotting into place around your shoulders as your own fingers clutched the back of his jacket tightly. Inhaling deeply, you realized that most of all, you missed their scent. Spicy and slightly antiseptic.
“You found me,” They said into your hair. You could feel their lips brush against your scalp as they squeezed you closer to them.
Loosening your grip and, tracing small shapes between their shoulder blades, you laughed, “Told you I would.”
Law sighed, slumping slightly into your embrace as if a heavy weight was removed from their shoulders. They wouldn’t admit it, at least not right now, but they were worried about you. There was always the chance you wouldn’t come back home. They had spent many sleepless nights, throwing themself deep into their work, to keep from considering that circumstance for longer than they needed. But, here you were, alive and well, back where you belonged. Close to their chest and in their grasp, never to let you go.
They pulled back to look at you, trace the lines of your face with their fingers. You smiled and leaned into their touch.
“I’m taking you to the infirmary, Y/N-ya. It’s been a while since your last checkup.” Even as they spoke, attempting to be stern, their hands were gentle as they cupped your face. Law tilted your head left and right, examining you with a trained eye.
You missed them so much it was crazy.
A part of you wondered if you could switch your heart with Law’s so you would always have a piece of them inside you. What would it feel like to have their heart beat in your chest? It certainly wouldn’t feel the same as your own. Maybe heavier. They always carry so much weight with them, and, for once, you would like to lessen the burden, if only for a second.
With a grin, you let your head flop against their chest. “I can tell you already I’m not hurt.”
Law rolled their eyes. You may have your face buried in their jacket, but you knew that sigh anywhere. “I’ll be the judge of that.”
Even then, they refused to peel themself away from you. You both knew you couldn’t stay like this forever, but that didn’t mean you didn’t want to. The butterflies returned as you rocked side to side on your heels. Law inhaled deeply and followed your movements, nose against the top of your head.
“I missed you, Law.”
“I know you did.” They snickered when you pulled back to hit them with a glare. “I missed you too, Y/N-ya, you know that.”
Laughing, you slid your hands to cup the back of their head. Fingertips gentle against the hair under their hat, you pulled them into a kiss. Their lips moved slowly against yours. Savoring you.
It would be a long time before they would allow you to leave again, plans be damned.

Law can’t resist the lubooty ;) More -> Part 2
It was a typical night for Law. Alone in his bedroom, enjoying the tranquility of the deserted island. The castle he resides in is not large nor extravagant, it is small. He did not mind it, there’s ample amount of space for him, anymore would be a waste.
Although, he did take luxury of the large bed. A size that would fit five people. Law had no intention of sharing it, he liked the life of solitude. He did have his subordinates, but he grants them free will. Time to time he meets with them. Rarely does he give them direct orders. The bear under his lead will sometimes guard the island by choice. Whether he’s away or not, the bear is attached. Law tolerates it.
The time of day did not matter to Law, he’ll rest when he feels like it. Usually, he goes without sleep for days as he boards himself in the laboratory. Today he takes the time to sleep. The eye bags are proof of the lack of rest. He closes his eyes to drift into a slumber, but a booming crash shook the walls of the castle.
He grits at the mayhem and hastily gets out of his bed. He scurries to the direction of the sound and dust fills the place. He waves the accumulation of rising particles to get a better look of the damage.
“Ack!” Someone coughs out.
“Who’s there? Show yourself!”
More coughing emerged as the dust settled.
The outline of a small figure is presented. The first thing Law noticed was a straw hat.
“Sheesh, that hurt more than I thought.”
Law groaned. The view is now clear and in front of him stood a young man. A flimsy one with big doe eyes. His outfit is rather strange to him, an opened red vest, shorts, and sandals.
The smaller man patted the debris off his clothing and gave a cunning grin.
“You. State your identity.”
“Me?” The straw hat asked, his eyes widen at the deep voice. His eyes smile at him, Law looked at him in disgust. “I’m Monkey D. Luffy and you are?”
“Tsk, I’m the owner of this property and you broke my wall.”
Luffy looked at the hole and rubbed the back of his head. “Oops, I’m sorry I had a running with a wild beast.”
Could it have been Bepo? No, he’s not here. There are other creatures that inhabit the island. Still, he’s surprised the tiny human could outrun them.
“I don’t know what’s your purpose on this island, but you will face the consequences.”
Law opened his mouth to show his large fangs. The little bastard interrupted his sleep and ruined a portion of his home. As he commenced to pounce on him, Luffy gasped.
“Wow so cool!” he shouts, eyes enlarged in excitement.
Confused at his reaction, he stops.
“Are you vampire?” Luffy asks taking a step forward.
Perplexed by his lack of fear, he backs away. “Yes, I’m a vampire.”
The younger man stretches his arm out to touch the vampire’s fangs. Law grabs his wrist before he could. “You can stretch?” A series of questions pop in his head, not only can he enlarge himself, the boy is also crazy.
Chuckling at the comment, “I’m made of rubber. See.” His other arm stretches towards his face, poking one of the fangs. Law snarls at him and attempts to bite his finger.
“Ah! Don’t do that!” He retreats his hand and frees himself from his grip. “Are you going to eat me?”
The vampire furrowed his eyebrows. Can he? Will his teeth penetrate through his skin? Only one way to find out. He smirks. “Perhaps.”
Luffy drops to his knees and pleads at the taller man. “No, please don’t eat me! I won’t taste good. Meat tastes so much better,” he cries.
Appalled by this, Law steps away. Luffy eyes glimmer from the excess water. Those brown orbs resonate for mercy. He hates confronting strong emotions.
“Tsk.” He turns away. “Fine, just fix your mess. I’m going to sleep.”
Luffy jumps in joy. “Thank you! Um. . . vampire guy?”
“It’s Trafalgar. . . Trafalgar Law.”
“Tra- what?”— He scratches his head at the name— “Tra-guy? Torao?”
“Trafalgar!”
“Ah, thanks Torao!”
Law scrunches his face in annoyance. “Whatever don’t bother me. We’ll settle this later.”
He leaves Luffy alone and heads up the stairs to his bedroom.
The straw hat man looks at the large hole in the wall. He sighs at the mess. "How do I fix a wall?" A loud grumble stopped his trace of thoughts. "I'm hungry. I need to eat first." He turns observe the rest of the building. It looked small on the outside, but the inside is like a maze. He’ll go through the trouble of wondering the labyrinth for the kitchen.
"I can't ask Torao, he said not to bother him. Well, I guess I have to explore this place." He smiles walking down a dark hallway. "Wow this castle is cool and spooky, this will be fun!"
.𖥔 ݁ ˖౨ৎ.𖥔 ݁ ˖-`♡´-.𖥔 ݁ ˖౨ৎ.𖥔 ݁
Law returned to his dark cavern. Even though he’s a creature of the night, he still needs his sleep. His body plopped on the bed, craving the sheets on it. The straw hat pondered his mind. How did he arrive on the island? Who is he? Most importantly, why wasn’t the human afraid?
Just looking at those innocent eyes did something to him. He palms his face at the thought.
“Get a grip.”
Darkness fades the view around him. As his eyes shut, he wonders if Luffy will repair the damage. The young man appeared to have no thoughts behind those doe eyes. He’s pretty sure he has no idea how to build a wall.
“Shit.”
His eyes are wide open now. “I left him alone. Stupid.” Law runs out his room and heads to Luffy.
"Crap, where did he go? Why did I leave a stranger alone in my castle?"
Elsewhere, Luffy found the basement of the place. Despite the secrete passageway filled with spiderwebs and dead remains of animals, he found it interesting. Going deeper in the hallway, he came across two steel doors. He opened the large doors and entered the room.
It appeared to be a laboratory. Weird science equipment covered the room. A flat steel table sat in the middle of the room.
His stomach growled.
“Man, where’s the food in this place?”
He continued to explore the lab and found a door at the back. Curious of what held inside, he opened it and was met with cold air. It’s a freezer storage. All over the walls hanged frozen items. Taking a closer look, the meat like structures were covered in ice. Shelves that surrounded the walls contained weird jars of specimens. Not caring much about it, he focused his attention to the large fridge situated across the room.
“Food!”
Luffy rushed to open the refrigerator. Inside held numerous blocks of ice. Puzzled by the frozen cubes, his smile faded. He grabbed one and inspected it. Lub-dub. The ice cube contracted. It was strange, lub-dub, it moved again. The block contained an odd red muscle. Luffy shrugged thinking it was a weird piece of meat. His mouth opened to take a bite, but before he could, someone barged in.
“Don’t eat it you idiot!”
Startled, the straw hat dropped the frozen organ. Law was appalled at the sight. He immediately picked up the cube and placed in back in the refrigerator.
“What kind of person eats a heart?!”
“A heart?”
“Yes, you moron!”
“Oh, no wonder why it looked funny,” he chuckled.
A vein popped out of Law’s temple.
“I knew I shouldn’t have left you alone. How did you find this place?”
“I was walking around, and I started touching around the walls. Then my hand pressed against the stone in one of the walls and it was pushed in. An opening appeared with stairs. Now I’m here,” he said with a large grin.
“What else did you see?”
“Mmm, just this weird room. Is there food around? I’m hungry.”
Luffy began to exit the storage room, but Law grabbed his arm.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m leaving to catch one of those beasts.”
“You think I’ll let you get away? You know too much.”
“Huh-”
Law tossed the straw hat against the wall of the freezer. The frozen meat hanging on the sides fell on top of him. Shoving it out his way, he noticed the shape of the object. The remains appeared to be human like. The situation slowly sinks in with Luffy. He panics at the lifeless skull attached to the remains. He screams, backing away in disgust.
"You killed him!"
Reality finally hits him, he's a wicked vampire. He looks around the room, vials filled with blood, containers with persevered organs, and corpses were all evidence of his hunt. Luffy thought Law was joking about eating him, but he was wrong.
Using his ability, he stretches his arm and punches Law out the way. He runs towards the large door of the lab, but the vampire magically appears in front him.
"What?!"
Law grabs him and pins him down to the floor.
"You're not going anywhere," he snarls showing his sharp canines.
"Please, I don't want to die!" Luffy pleads, afraid of the man above his body.
“Shut up,” he grits. Law stares at his prey underneath him. Those eyes again.
The vampire groans. When has he shown mercy to intruders? He hesitates to rip open the exposed neck. "Tsk." His golden irises beam onto Luffy's soft brown ones. He exhales and gets off his body.
He facepalms as he bites his lip. It was weird, he could almost smell the blood underneath his skin. He's never experienced this. Despite only knowing his name, he finds himself drawn to him. However, his vampiric instincts are calling for bloodlust.
"Go."
Luffy looks at him perplexed. "You're letting me go?"
"I said go!" Law snaps his head towards his direction. His golden eyes were now bright red. This startled Luffy. Not wanting to find out about the sudden change in his demeanor, he pivots and dashes to the doors.
In trashing his way out, he hits a corner of a stranded medical cart. A sharp scalpel cuts his arm.
The small wound was enough for the vampire to snap. The scent of the blood sparked something inside of him.
"RUN."
A tone of venom rolled off of Law’s tongue. The urging face of hunger made Luffy to rush out the laboratory. Adrenaline rushed through his blood vessels; he followed wherever his legs took him.
The straw hat ran up the stairs to the ground level of the castle. In a frenzy, he touched the walls in hopes to close the entrance to the basement. His hand found the hidden button and caused the floor to shift below him. He could see the vampire hustling his way up, but before he could jump out, the entrance closed in time.
“Whew, the was close,” he sighs, rubbing the sweat off his forehead.
Those words jinxed him.
“Room. Shambles.”
Law appeared before him.
“What?! You did it again!”
The taller man grabbed his throat and smashed him to the nearby wall. “I got you,” he grins, purposely showing his canines.
Luffy’s hands wrap around his wrist, trying to remove the death grip around his neck. He picked his legs up and stretched them out to push Law away. Using great force, he smashes the vampire against the other side of the hallway. The stone crumbles over him and smothers him in the pile. The straw hat uses this opportunity to flee.
“Ah! How do I lose him?!”
In the rock pile, Law lays with a smirk. “Hmm.” He sits up, causing the rubbish to fall off, and stares at the human running in dismay.
“Room.”
Popping from behind, he goes to embrace Luffy. Now in his arms, he uses his ability to teleport them to his bedroom. The two land on his grand bed.
Lost in words, Luffy could only stare at his captor pinning him down.
“Will it hurt?”
The vampire hums as he removed the straw hat from his head. “It won’t kill you,” he simply says.
Luffy closed his eyes and prepared for the worst. Licking his lips, Law drew to the side of his neck. His hot breath blew on the exposed flesh, making him shiver.
“Relax little human, you’ll enjoy this.”
Luffy hitched at the warm wetness sliding against him. The tongue was surprisingly hot, he thought vampires were cold-blooded creatures. His hands grip the bedsheets as he felt the tip of his sharp teeth caress his tender flesh.
He gulps, feeling himself excite a little at the feeling. With one last breath, Law sinks his teeth in.
“Ah-” he groans at the flashing pain.
The vampire sucks the warm red liquid in delight- the best he’s had. He savors the young man’s blood, only wanting more. Law embraces Luffy close, grinding on him slowly. He whimpers at the overwhelming sensation and lets himself be consumed.
Law sucked gently, humming against the wound. With a flushed face, the human lets out a soft moan, forgetting about the pain in the beginning. Satisfying his thirst, the vampire licked the open holes.
He lets the human go for a brief moment. The bloodlust fades as he gets clarity of the situation. Law didn’t mean to bite him, but he doesn’t regret it. The human’s blood is vastly different- it’s addicting. A powerful drug that only he could possess. It became clear on what he has to do.
Still processing the bite, Luffy eyes opened to a dark gaze from the vampire. In a quick motion, Law turns his body over. A painful bite is felt at his nape.
The human screams in agony. The pain was quick, and Law licked the oozing liquid.
“It’s done. You’re mine.”
Luffy runs his hand over the large bite mark, wincing at the touch. He rubs the tears off his eyes and turns to his side.
“Yours? I don’t belong to no one.”
“Hmm,” Law hums and smirks at his comment.
His long fingers trace his bite at the nape, making the smaller male wince.
“Don’t touch me.”
“This bite says otherwise. You’re marked by me,” he says leaving a trail of kisses to the previous bite mark.
He squirms at the touch of his lips. Law chuckles at his reaction. “You can’t say you didn’t like it,”— his mouth nears his ear— “I heard you moan.”
“I-” Luffy face reddens. “I still don’t belong to you,” he huffs.
“Mugiwara-ya.”
His ears twitch at the name.
“You’re hungry, aren't you? Let me compensate you with a dinner.”
Luffy livens up at the word. “Dinner?!” He grabs his hat and rushes out the room.
Law looked at him in shock. How did he get the energy to move like that?
“Don’t just stand there. I want to eat now!”
“Will you submit to me if I give you what you want?”
The straw hat squints his eyes at the vampire. There’s no way he’ll let Law get his way, but the proposal intrigued him.
“Anything?”
“Anything.”
A devious smile plastered on Luffy’s face.
“Get ready to give me a lifetime supply of meat!” He grins.
“Huh? Wh-”
Luffy wraps his arm around Law and draws him close. He struggles to break the hold, but it was no use.
“Alright let’s go eat!”
The vampire goes limp in defeat. “What did I get myself into?”

Trafalgar Law X CisFem Reader
14
This wasn't the first time for you to spend the night in Law's room, but it was the first time you were aware of your surroundings. That was following a panic attack that left you frazzled and exhausted. Now you were completely awake taking in the room while he pulled his shirt off and redistributed the pillows on the bed.
His room was tidy, very minimally decorated with more modern neutrally colored furniture. Sleek black night tables flanked the dark queen sized bed. The lamp on the left side was set on the lowest setting filling the room with a soft warm golden light. It smelled like him -  warm woodsy rosemary with a very light touch of lavender.
"There," he murmured, turning the sheets and comforter down.
Your stomach flipped as you moved forward and crawled into the bed facing his side. He turned off the lamp and joined you while your eyes adjusted to the lack of light. You weren't sure what to expect - he didn't make any attempt to touch or cuddle you.
Settling into the mattress he slipped his arm under his pillows and yawned, "What time are we leaving in the morning?"
"I'd like to get to the shop no later than ten. Zoro and Robin will meet us there." you fiddled with the corner of your pillow.
He looked at you very seriously for a moment, "Are you sure you still want me to go? Wasn't it bad luck?"
A small smile tugged at your lips, "I didn't know you were superstitious."
His eyes widened and he quickly blinked, "I wouldn't go that far."
"Sure," you chuckled, "I think like ten generations back it was an old wives tale or something. But now, from what I've seen with my friends and my catering, it's pretty common practice now for the groom to come along. Unless you don't want to come."
He frowned, "I didn't say that. If you want me there then I'm there."
"Good." you yawned.
"Let's get some rest then." Law watched you close your eyes and hum in affirmation.
He didn't know what possessed him to ask you to stay in his room. Maybe it was this, how peaceful you looked all snuggled up in his pillows. Just like you had been when you dozed off on him in the living room. The soft rhythm of your breathing somehow brought him comfort. He was able to relax in a way he hadn't in a very long time.
Sleep wasn't something Law found easily. There was always stress, always work, always memories that tugged him in all directions. Survivor's guilt ate at him most nights.
Where would his sister be?
Would his parents be proud of him?
Would they like you?
How did he feel about you?
"Law." you murmured not bothering to open your eyes.
"Hmm?"
"Quit staring and go to sleep." there was a playful edge to your tone.
“Shh.” he quickly replied before closing his eyes and sighing quietly.
When he woke the room was still and far too quiet. The space you'd warmed next to him was cold and empty. Sitting up, Law stretched and rubbed his face. For the first time in years he felt well rested. His jaw and shoulders were relaxed. He'd slept deeply through a dreamless night.
The scent of coffee began to filter in as he stood to begin his morning routine. Once finished, he stepped out of his room to meet you in the kitchen. When Law entered you were still in your pajamas with a long knit cardigan that was a couple of sizes too large for you slouched over your shoulders. An easy smile curved his lips as he watched you hum and move around the kitchen.
“Morning,”
His voice sent static straight up your spine drawing out a small gasp.
“I didn't hear you come in.” you turned hoping your face didn't look as hot as it felt.
“Sorry,” he murmured, glancing away briefly, “next time I'll announce myself from the other room.”
“Don't be ridiculous,” you handed him his favorite mug with fresh coffee, “I'd just be startled sooner.”
“Suit yourself then.” he chuckled softly, “What are you doing up so early anyway?”
“I thought we should eat a little before we left. I don't know how long this will take.” you moved around him to plate some eggs and sausages.
“We can have lunch after if you want.” he waited for you to sit before sitting himself.
It hit you that though at this point you had shared plenty of meals together at the bakery and at home, you'd not had a proper date. A hint of nervous energy swirled through your chest.
Breakfast continued with small talk about what the day might bring. Before you knew it you were pulling up to the dress shop.
Robin was already seated on a plush deep purple sofa situated in the corner of the sales floor. Your cousin sat unamused in a small black armchair nearby.
“You're surprisingly early.” you prodded his shoulder.
“Robin picked me up.” he muttered, cutting his eye at you.
“You would've gotten lost.” she smiled as a small vein popped out of Zoro's temple.
“I know where the shop is.”
“Yes,” she chuckled, “but getting to it is the problem.”
“Awe Mossy, don't be so grumpy.”
Law stood patiently behind you taking in all of the dresses on display while you helped your friend tease your cousin. The store wasn't very large but the floor was spacious enough. There were two short circular pedestals in opposite corners with seating for family and friends. A hallway led to another room in the back of the store; he assumed the dressing area. The walls were lined with dresses in all variants of white, ivory and cream - there were even red, black and more adventurous colors. He stepped to the side to get a closer look at one that caught his eye. Layered ivory chiffon with a white floral lace pattern.
Your hands on his right forearm brought his slate gaze forward again.
“Robin, this is Law.”
“Doctor,” she reached out to shake his hand.
“Just Law is fine.” he politely corrected.
An older tall slim man with dark hair entered flashing a bright smile. He wore a black suit that was perfectly tailored to him with a lavender tie.
“I'm Randy, you must be F/N.” he held out his right hand to greet you, “I'll be taking care of you this morning. Is this your fiance?”
“Yes,” you nodded, “that's Law and this is my friend Robin and my cousin Zoro.”
“Can I get you all anything before we get started? Coffee? Tea? Champagne?” Randy offered after properly greeting everyone.
“Champagne.” Zoro said, sitting forward.
“It's barely 10AM.” you nudged him.
“I'm not driving.” he retorted.
After getting settled Randy escorted you to the dressing room where a female staff member dressed in all black waited. Her dark hair was pulled up into a neat bun. She smiled pleasantly as you approached and handed you the white satin robe she was holding.
“I'm Genevieve, I'll be helping you get in and out of the dresses.”
“Nice to meet you.” you replied feeling a little awkward and out of your element.
“We've pulled eight dresses based on your preferences. Of course we can add more or take a few out as you'd like.” Randy motioned to a rack of dresses parked near the dressing room door.
“Ah, yeah eight seems like a lot.” you chewed on the inside of your bottom lip.
“You'd be surprised.” Genevieve chuckled, “Should we get started?”
They left you alone to change into the robe provided and any shape wear you thought you'd be wearing for your wedding. Once you were ready Genevieve entered and helped you step into and zip the first dress.
This one wasn't anything special. A basic off-white satin ball gown with a boat neckline and fitted sleeves down to the elbow. The fabric on the bodice was layered at a diagonal. You looked at yourself in the mirror and hummed. It was already out of the ordinary for you to be in a dress. Skirts and dresses weren't permitted in the kitchen. But this particular dress, though it was beautiful, didn't suit you.
Randy brought you out onto the sales floor and helped you stand on the pedestal facing another large mirror with Law, Robin and Zoro behind you.
“It's beautiful.” Robin complimented, “What do you think?”
“I'm not sure.” you ran your fingers over the bodice and examined yourself in the mirror.
Law hadn't understood what was so important about picking out a dress you would wear one time. It was just a dress. Then he saw you walk out in one. Everything that he'd admired about you was amplified.
Your eyes met in the reflection before you.
“What do you think?”
His gaze stayed locked on yours, “It's a nice dress, but I don't think you like it. That's what's more important right?”
A small smile tugged the corners of your lips appreciating his observation.
“You're right, it's not the one.” you turned lifting the skirt to step down as Randy offered his left arm.
Nearly forty minutes and five dresses later you stood in front of the group in a champagne colored chiffon dress with a plunging neckline and a slit clear up to your right hip. It was covered in gold, silver and bronze stars. You fiddled with one of the appliques, frustrated that a dress purchase was starting to stress you out. Taking them off, putting them on, being on display and talking about the pros and cons of a garment - it was absolutely exhausting.
“It's certainly a party dress.” Robin commented.
“She's not a party girl.” Zoro countered, “Not that it looks bad.”
Law remained quiet watching your body language for a moment. You clearly weren't happy with the selection. Not that the dress didn't look amazing on you, it did. The cut accentuated your curves and the color highlighted your skin tone. This one was just not for the intended occasion.
“F/N-ya,” he called softly as you looked over your shoulder, “should we take a short break?”
“It's ok, I still have a few more and I don't want to keep anyone longer than necessary.” you answered, forcing a smile.
“This sucks,” you muttered as Genevieve helped you out of the starry number, “how do people do this all day?”
“I think the majority share your sentiment.” she chuckled and stepped out to get the next dress.
You tied your robe and took a few deep breaths. Initially you'd thought this would be a fun experience. It always seemed that way with your friends and portrayed in media. No one told you it would be tiring and hot, not to mention you weren't having any magical connections with these dresses. How were you supposed to know which was the one? You had also never planned to have this experience. Life with Marco wasn't going to bring you here.
How fucking weird that a few months ago you didn't even know Law.
Genevieve knocked as you felt your hands begin to shake.
“Can I have a moment please?”  you murmured wishing there was a place to sit.
The door opened anyway.
“Can I…” the words died on your tongue as your fiance stepped into the room with a white garment bag.
“Sorry, you were getting a little pale out there.” he hung the bag on the back of the door.
“It's just a bit more stressful than I expected.” you sighed, “What's that?”
“The next dress, if you want to keep going.” he stepped closer to you, placing his right hand over your forehead.
“One more shouldn't kill me.” you watched his eyes examine you as he'd switched into doctor mode.
“As long as you feel well enough to continue.” His hand moved down brushing over your jaw.
The air in the room shifted. It seemed heavy with tension - but not in a way you'd felt with Law. The look in his eye was of genuine concern, but there was something else there pulling you in.
“I-I’m ok.” you said softly.
“I'll be waiting out there then.” In a very natural motion he leaned forward and brushed his lips over your forehead.
Your heart leapt out of your body while a pleasant heat tingled where his lips had touched. His warmth was gone quickly, followed by the click of the door closing. The moment lasted seconds, if even that and you wanted more.
You. Wanted. More.
There was a jarring wrap on the door before Genevieve stepped in dispelling the transe you were in.
“This next one is gorgeous, I think you'll really love it.” she unzipped the bag, “Your groom picked it.”
The bright smile on your face as you stepped onto the sales floor said it all.
Ivory chiffon embraced your torso and hips, drifting down into a small train behind you. It fit like a dream and the white lace pattern that decorated it reminded you of the delicate design you'd used for the cake Law picked for your reception.
This was THE dress.

As the viscount walks down the main hallway, his steps echo with a sense of purpose and authority. Beside him stands his wife, the viscountess, a complicated mix of emotions churning within him. He casts a sidelong glance at his wife, his expression a mask of controlled anger. The knowledge of her betrayal weighs heavily on his heart, but he understands the need to set his personal grievances aside for the sake of the gathering.
In a tense silence, the viscountess breaks the stillness, her voice carrying a mixture of defiance and determination. She mentions the importance of finding a suitable match for y/n during the gala, her words laced with a misguided sense of authority. The viscount’s gaze hardens, his eyes narrowing as he locks eyes with his wife. He speaks, his voice a low growl that carries a subtle warning. “You would do well to stay out of matters concerning our daughter,” he asserts, his tone leaving no room for argument. “I will not allow history to repeat itself.”
He recalls the painful lessons learned from the ill-fated marriage of his eldest daughter, a tragedy that had scarred the family deeply. He resolutely reminds his wife of the consequences that befell their family, the loss and heartbreak they endured. He refuses to subject y/n to a similar fate. The viscount’s words hang in the air, his unwavering resolve painting a picture of a father fiercely protective of his daughter’s well-being. In that moment, he asserts his authority, vowing to shield y/n from any potential harm or manipulation. As the viscountess listens to the viscount’s stern words, a flicker of defiance dances in her eyes. She meets his gaze, her own filled with a mix of resentment and frustration. Her voice carries a touch of arrogance as she responds to his warning. “And what would you know about finding a suitable match for our daughter?” she retorts, her tone laced with condescension. “You’ve always been blinded by your own pride and stubbornness.”
The viscount’s jaw tightens, a flicker of anger passing through his eyes. He inhales deeply, his resolve evident as he maintains his composure. “I may not always have made the right decisions, but I will not allow you to jeopardize y/n’s happiness” he asserts, his voice firm and unwavering. The viscountess scoffs, a derisive smile playing on her lips. “Your concern for y/n’s happiness is nothing more than an illusion,” she retorts, her words dripping with disdain. “You care only for your reputation and your precious family name.”
The viscount’s nostrils flare, a mixture of frustration and hurt crossing his face. He clenches his fists, battling to maintain his composure in the face of his wife’s cutting remarks. “You know nothing of my intentions and the lengths I would go to protect our daughter.” he counters, his voice laced with quiet determination. A tense silence fills the air between them, the weight of their words hanging heavy in the space. The viscountess, realizing the depth of her husband’s conviction, looks away, her defiance momentarily subdued. As the first guests begin to arrive, the viscount and the viscountess stand side by side, their expressions guarded and their emotions simmering beneath the surface. The air is charged with an unspoken tension, a silent battle of wills that will shape the course of the evening. Despite the lingering animosity, a shared understanding emerges. They both desire what they believe is best for you, even if their paths to achieving it diverge. For now, they must set aside their differences, don their social masks, and navigate the intricate dance of high society.
With a deep breath, the viscount takes his wife’s arm and leads her forward, their steps synchronized yet their hearts still in conflict. As they greet the arriving families, their gestures and smiles belie the underlying tensions, a delicate facade of unity maintained for the sake of their esteemed guests. As the carriages line up outside the Claydall estate, a sense of anticipation fills the air. Nobles adorned in their finest attire step out, their garments exuding elegance and opulence. The viscount and viscountess stand at the entrance, their smiles carefully crafted, as they welcome the arriving guests with gracious hospitality.
Amongst the distinguished crowd, the viscount’s gaze falls upon a familiar face – Edward Newgate, his close friend and trusted confidant. Their friendship has weathered the tests of time, providing solace and support in moments of both triumph and despair. With a warm smile, the viscount extends his hand to Edward, embracing him in a heartfelt welcome. “It is good to see you, Edward,” the viscount says, his voice filled with genuine warmth. “We truly have much to catch up on.”
Edward’s eyes twinkle with delight as he returns the gesture, gripping the viscount’s arm in a friendly manner. “Indeed, my friend,” he replies, his voice rich with familiarity. “It has been far too long since we last shared stories and laughter.” The viscount nods, a glimmer of nostalgia crossing his eyes. He leads Edward away from the bustling crowd, seeking a moment of privacy to reconnect and reminisce. As they make their way towards a quiet corner, the viscountess is left standing alone, her eyes following their departure.
Slightly isolated from the conversations and festivities, the viscountess observes the interactions around her, her expression a mix of curiosity and discontent. Her eyes meet those of other noblewomen, some filled with intrigue, others with veiled judgment. The weight of societal expectations rests heavily upon her, threatening to suffocate her spirit.
Resigned to her current position, the viscountess maintains a composed facade, masking the turmoil within. She straightens her posture, ensuring her smile remains poised and her words carry the expected grace and charm. In the depths of the Claydall estate, the viscount and Edward find refuge in the solitude of the bathroom, away from prying eyes and the cacophony of the gala. Behind closed doors, their conversation drifts between lighter anecdotes and deeper reflections, their shared camaraderie serving as a reminder of the unbreakable bond between friends.
In the seclusion of the bathroom, the viscount opens up to his trusted friend, Edward, about the troubles that have plagued his marriage. With a heavy sigh, he confides in Edward, his voice filled with regret and weariness.“I find myself in a difficult position with my wife,” the viscount admits, his words laced with a tinge of sadness. “I regret marrying her, as our union has become a source of constant strife and discord.” Edward listens attentively, his eyes reflecting empathy and understanding. He places a reassuring hand on the viscount’s shoulder, offering a silent gesture of support.
“It pains me to see you burdened by such a situation,” Edward replies, his voice calm and soothing. “You know I have always valued our friendship, and I am here for you Laken.” The viscount’s eyes meet Edward’s, gratitude shining through his wearied gaze. “Your friendship has been a constant source of solace for me,” Laken admits, his voice tinged with gratitude. “I appreciate your willingness to lend an ear and extend a helping hand.”
Edward offers a comforting smile, his gaze filled with unwavering loyalty. “Whatever assistance you may require, know that I am ready to aid you in any way I can,” he assures the viscount, his words carrying a sense of genuine commitment. The viscount’s tense shoulders relax slightly, the weight of his troubles momentarily eased by Edward’s presence. In the intimate confines of the bathroom, the viscount finds solace in the words and unwavering support of his steadfast friend.
Their conversation continues, delving deeper into the complexities of the viscount’s marriage, as well as potential solutions and avenues for change. The viscount takes comfort in the understanding and guidance offered by Edward, knowing that he is not alone in navigating the challenges of love, loyalty, and family. Outside the confines of the bathroom, the gala unfolds, a whirlwind of dazzling conversations and shimmering gowns. The viscount and Edward rejoin the festivities, their faces a mask of composure and camaraderie, their shared secrets kept safely hidden from prying eyes.
As the duke and Lord Ace make their grand entrance into the gala, a hushed silence falls over the crowd. Whispers ripple through the room, carrying tales of the duke’s enigmatic past and his notorious aloofness. The nobles, intrigued by his unexpected presence, steal furtive glances in his direction, their curiosity piqued. Law, maintaining his signature air of indifference, scans the room with a critical eye. His gaze lands on Lord Ace, his childhood friend and partner in mischief. A wry smile tugs at the corners of the Duke’s lips as he comments on Ace’s well-known reputation as a playboy.
“Ah, Ace,” the Duke remarks, his voice laced with subtle amusement. “Always the charmer, aren’t you?” Ace grins mischievously, leaning in closer to Law. “What can I say Law? It’s hard to resist when the ladies adore me,” he teases, his voice filled with playful bravado. The Duke rolls his eyes, his expression a blend of fond exasperation and camaraderie. “You never cease to amaze me with your antics,” he retorts, his voice tinged with a hint of admiration.
Their banter fills the air, momentarily overshadowing the whispers that surround them. The nobles, captivated by the presence of these two enigmatic figures, find themselves drawn to the energy and intrigue that emanates from their interaction. Unbeknownst to them, the dynamics of the evening are subtly shifting, their actions and choices intertwining with the lives of those around them. In the midst of the grand gala, where secrets lie beneath the veneer of elegance, the paths of the duke and Lord Ace will cross with unexpected consequences, setting in motion a chain of events that will shape the course of their destinies.

As the Duke’s gaze sweeps across the ballroom, he notices a gathering of gentlemen surrounding Lady Y/n. He listens with an air of detachment as their flirty remarks and attempts at charm drift towards his ears. Though he tries to ignore their advances, a faint annoyance tugs at the corner of his mind.
His antisocial nature often shields him from the frivolous conversations and superficial interactions that dominate social gatherings. While others revel in the dance of courtship and display their charms, he remains aloof, seeking solace in the quiet corners of the room.
Yet, there is something about Lady Y/n that captures his attention. A curiosity stirs within him, compelling him to observe her interactions with a subtle intrigue. As you approach the Duke, a smile graces your lips, your heart pounding with excitement. The room seems to hold its breath as all eyes turn toward you, anticipation palpable in the air. With graceful confidence, you extend your dance card to the Duke, your voice carrying a playful tone. “Good evening, Your Grace. Would you be so kind as to grace my dance card with your esteemed presence?” The Duke’s piercing gaze meets yours, his expression guarded. A moment of silence hangs between you, the tension crackling like electricity. “Lady Y/n, I must admit, your audacity surprises me.” He says coldly “What makes you think I would be interested in a dance with you?”
In a playful tone, you brush off the Duke’s initial coldness, refusing to be discouraged. With a twinkle in your eye, you manage to charm him into signing your dance card. “Well, Your Grace, I have heard whispers of your unparalleled skills on the dance floor. I couldn’t resist the opportunity to experience it firsthand.” The Duke’s icy exterior cracks ever so slightly as he looks down, processing your response. The Duke’s gaze then meets yours again, his intense golden eyes assessing you with a hint of intrigue. His lips curve into a subtle smile, a rare sight that sends a shiver of excitement down your spine. “You are quite the persuasive one, Lady Y/n. Very well, I shall grant your request.” He takes the pen from your hand, his fingers brushing against yours, sending a jolt of electricity through your veins. As the last group dance comes to an end, the next one, the elegant Cotillion, begins. You gracefully navigate the ballroom, scanning the crowd for the one person you’ve been hoping to dance with—the Duke. Catching his eye, a faint smile plays on your lips as he approaches you, extending his hand for the dance. The music envelops you both as you glide across the polished floor, your steps synchronized with the intricate choreography of the Cotillion. Amidst the graceful twirls and precise footwork, you find a moment to express your gratitude to the Duke for his earlier warning about the treacherous creek during your horse ride. “I want to thank you sincerely, Your Grace, for your timely warning about the creek. Your concern was most appreciated.” He glances at you, his demeanor composed and aloof. “As a gentleman, it is my duty to offer assistance when necessary. Your reckless riding called for caution.” Your brows furrow slightly in surprise and offense at his curt remark. However, you refuse to be undermined and swiftly gather your thoughts, ready to defend yourself. “Reckless? I assure you, Your Grace, my riding skills are impeccable. I might have taken a risk, but I was in complete control of the situation. I value your concern, but please do not underestimate my abilities.” The Duke’s now piercing gaze meets yours, his features betraying a flicker of astonishment at your boldness. The dance continues, the air tinged with an unexpected tension. Driven by a mix of pride and frustration, you decide to deliver a sharp retort to the Duke’s aloofness. Without another word, you gracefully break away from his hold and stride away, leaving him momentarily stunned.
Unbeknownst to you, your mother, the Viscountess, observes the exchange from a distance. Her gaze flickers with concern and intrigue as she witnesses your heated interaction with the Duke. Determined to understand the cause of your sudden clash, she excuses herself from her circle of acquaintances and discreetly makes her way towards you. As the Cotillion unfolds, whispers ripple through the crowd, spreading the tale of your spirited encounter with the enigmatic Duke. You hastily make your way outside the grand ballroom, the heavy doors closing behind you with a thud. The cool night air embraces you, offering a respite from the intensity of the gala. Finding solace in the family garden, you settle on a weathered bench, seeking refuge in the symphony of nature’s nocturnal creatures. The soothing sounds of chirping crickets and distant owls fill the air, providing a calming backdrop to your racing thoughts. As you try to regain your composure and process the events that unfolded with the Duke, you reflect on your uncharacteristic outburst and its potential consequences. “I can’t believe I acted that way.” You thought to yourself “It’s not like me to engage in such confrontations. I must have let my emotions get the better of me.” Lost in contemplation, you find a semblance of tranquility amidst the natural serenity of the garden. However, your moment of introspection is abruptly interrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps. Your mother emerges from the ballroom, her countenance a mix of concern and disapproval. She rushes over to you, her voice tinged with annoyance.
“Y/n, what on earth were you thinking? Leaving your dance with the Duke like that? You have just ruined any chance you had with him. I can’t believe you could be so impulsive!” Her scolding words pierce through the calm ambiance, shattering the fragile peace that enveloped you. Your glare intensifies as your mother continues her scolding, the weight of your earlier confrontation in the tea room still fresh in your mind. The strained relationship between you fuels the fire of defiance within you, sparking a flame of independence “You know nothing of what truly happened, stepmother. I suggest we leave it that way. It’s best for both of us.”
Your words strike a nerve, causing the viscountess to bristle with anger. She raises her hand, ready to strike, but before she can follow through, a gentleman intervenes, his voice carrying authority and a hint of warning. “I advise you to halt this confrontation, Viscountess.” The man said “We are in the presence of many watchful eyes.” His words hang in the air, a reminder of the delicate balance between decorum and scandal that permeates high society. You look up, your eyes adjusting to the dimly lit surroundings, revealing the gentleman’s presence. Moonlight casts a soft glow upon his chiseled face and hints at the hue of his hair, which appears to be a shade of green.
The viscountess, caught off guard by the sudden interruption, gazes at the gentleman with a mix of surprise and recognition. It dawns on her that she stands before none other than Prince Geno Tesoro, the next heir to the kingdom of Gran Tesoria, and his presence demands respect. “Apologies for the disturbance, Your Highness.” Your stepmother blurted out, Courtesy as well. “It was a momentary lapse of judgment.” As the viscountess quickly retreats, leaving the scene with a humbled demeanor, Prince Geno turns his attention to you. He gently takes hold of your hands, his concern evident in his expression. “Are you alright?” The prince asked softly “That was quite an intense exchange. I hope it hasn’t dampened your spirits for the evening.”
You compose yourself and respond to Prince Geno, thanking him for his timely intervention. The Prince’s charming demeanor and flattering words slightly fluster you, making your heart race. “Thank you, Your Highness, for stepping in. I really appreciate your help.” Prince Geno, his charm on full display, smiles warmly at you, his sea blue eyes sparkling.
“It was my pleasure, my lady. I couldn’t bear to see such a spirited young woman caught in such a predicament. Your resilience is truly admirable.” As Prince Geno continues to engage you in conversation, his words flow effortlessly and his gestures captivating. You find yourself drawn to his presence, his compliments and attentiveness igniting a sense of excitement and curiosity within you.
Unbeknownst to you and Prince Geno, your exchange doesn’t go unnoticed. From a secluded spot nearby, the Duke watches with a mix of intrigue and jealousy. His gaze lingers on you, a tinge of regret swirling within him. The Duke’s thoughts drift, and he finds himself questioning his own reserved nature and its consequences. He observes the connection between you and Prince Geno, a hint of jealousy flickering in his eyes. Perhaps, for the first time, he begins to question the path he has chosen and the potential he may have overlooked.
As the evening unfolds, the Duke remains conflicted, caught between the emotions stirring within him and the duty he has always upheld. The presence of Prince Geno and the unexpected turn of events leave him contemplating the possibilities and what they may mean for his own heart.
