Damian undoubtedly has the healthiest codependency relationship with Dick. Unlike Thomas who died for him, Thomas Wayne Jr who killed for him, Bruce who lives off him, Damian needs him in a way that doesn't drive Dick crazy lol. For now.

I started to watch Kiseki last week thanks to my dash. My original plan was to bingewatch it after it`s finished if it has a happy ending which might have been wiser. However I am obsessed with Ai Di and Chen Yi. I think it`s interesting that Chen Yi tells Ai Di that they have to be quiet during their first night because Ai Di would get angry if he heard. I am not sure how he wouldn`t recognise Ai Di even if he is drunk because they have always been together but that`s not the point. He clearly cares about Ai Di and doesn`t want to upset him. But how does he know that Ai Di would hear them? Has he heard Ai Di with another man and has he been mad? Even though he calls Ai Di brother at that point he seems awfully upset when Ai Di is with other men and drags him away from them.

Their soul was so full of rage and betrayal that their ghost possessed their now dead body, and went on a search for closure.

X bonds to it so much that it eventually ends up granting it sentience on accident, being then forced to wrestle with the idea that she used her reality-warping powers selfishly. Living in a false reality messes with it, and x eventually learns that she's the arbiter of her own destiny and it's okay to want things.

She's very goal-oriented and is always smiling and is often in a sort of silly-mean mood— she's just teasing, but often doesn't recognize when people are actually uncomfortable. She also has a bad habit of twisting people's words to fit what she thinks.

I Intentionally Start Shit in the Loki Tag

If you complain about Sylvie being "harmful queer rep" BUT want "Lady Loki" in the MCU, which was Loki possessing Sif's body just to torment Sif, I need you to sit down and shut up. a. Genderfluid people don't go by "Lady " when they're femme or women. b. If you don't see the transphobic dogwhistles in the comics possession subplot, I don't know what to tell you... But let's say that hag that wrote those crappy books would love it. c. If you weren't aware about this, maybe you should read the wiki at least before giving uninformed opinions.

I definitely agree that they should not have led people on with the promise of genderfluid rep during the promotion of the series. But get mad at Disney/Marvel for that. Not at the writers or Sophia Di Martino that had to cave in to Feige's demands. That's literally what they have to do.

I really don't give a damn about the "autogynephilia" allegations, which again, is ALSO PRESENT IN CIS WOMEN. Like why the fuck should I care about someone finding themselves hot? There's fascists out there. AGP even if it was a trans-specific thing harms no one. The only harm said to come from it is DUE TO FASCISM because it plays into RESPECTABILITY POLITICS.

If you use AI to create a "proper" Lady Loki or love interest for Loki, you can't complain about the blatant product placement in S2. I am not a fan of product placement either and won't defend it, but those are the rules. Show some integrity. And before you ask, I have not given a cent to Disney since they pissed me off with attempts to trademark Dia de los Muertos for Coco.

If you complain about how being a "Loki" is not a role (unlike Spiderman) and how it should have been all 100% Tom Hiddleston, you don't get to call it selfcest as a gotcha, because you're already differentiating between the variants with different DNA. Like do y'all hate selfcest or not? Make up your mind. The series treats a Loki as an archetype of sorts, so it can be a role. Also, having the same name does not make you related because we don't know what Sylvie's parents are? And we don't even know if Sylvie is also a Jotun, a prop claims she isn't.

If you say you want Sylvie dead but claim to not be misogynistic, because you'd love if a specific love interest from the comics or mythology replaced her, STFU. You only like those because you can project whatever the fuck you want onto them.

If you claim Sylvie is a misogynistic depiction of women but salivate over characters written by cishet white men in the 1960s-1980s that made wanting to fuck Thor or being in a monogamous marriage with Loki their entire personality (there's so MANY OF THESE), STFU. Do you hear yourself? And no, it's not misogynistic of me, a woman, to criticize offensive depictions of women by cishet white men. They're not real.

Our MCU!Loki is not the young adult Ikol reincarnation currently. Of course 20-something Verity is not going to be there! The Loki show should be praise for having multiple female cast members around the same age as the protagonist and pragmatic clothing choices that allowed SdM to nurse her baby.

Selfcest isn't real and I cry tears of boredom whenever someone clutches their pearls over it.

The comics aren't perfect. As much as I loved the recent Dan Watters run (and German Peralta's art), the comics art has some very questionable tendencies, especially regarding Loki's nose when she's femme. It's associated with how some kinds of facial features are considered masculine or feminine (and racialized). Noses have no gender, ffs! Women with nose bumps exist! For some reason Loki always has a tiny button nose when she's a woman or femme. There's also the BLATANT physiognomy that has ALWAYS PLAGUED Thor comics since their inception, and Loki's facial features as they've become more "grey" and less evil is an interesting study. Peralta's far from being the only artist with this problem, and is far from being the most problematic. For comparison from Loki (2023) run:

Okay, what I realised earlier and was mad about...

Mimic from the book series isn't the Mimic from the games, but is instead, representative of several people, but the main one? Glitchtrap. Book Mimic is the book version of Glitchtrap from the games. Hear me out...

SO going one thing at a time though this is a mess (and under a readmore for convenience):

Glitchtrap is the digital consciousness/created version of Afton the Child Killer that experiments for immortality, right? Right. He was stored on circuit boards and old junk, and sent over to the VR game development team in an attempt to cut some corners on the development process. He is a consequence, a result of what Afton has created to achieve his goals, still hurting people long after his creator is gone.

Mimic, is an AI created to mimic what it sees. It combines everything it witnesses into one big dataset of patterns and then repeats it in those same patterns. The Mimic from the epilogues is sent to the Pizzaplex along with shiny, new and modern animatronics. The Mimic program is still available for use on any project it may be beneficial to use it, hence how it was put into the Storyteller in order to cut corners on the Pizzaplex creative department. Mimic is a consequence, a result of what it has seen and the corners people cut to achieve their goals, still hurting people long after it was first deactivated.

Both are problems caused by Fazbear cutting corners. Both are created by people that are focused intently on their work. Both are sent with almost no explanation to unknowing people along with other, much more harmless things. Both are the consequences of their creators trying to achieve their goals, and the mistakes they've made in doing so.

What mistakes did Edwin and Afton both make? Negligence.

Whilst these two are very different people, Edwin's son died because he had been more focused on his work than his kid, while Afton's daughter died for much the same reason. Two kids left unattended by busy fathers, die in what can only be felt as an accident to those fathers. These deaths fuel Edwin and Afton to make more mistakes that hurt more people, neither of them ever knowing the true extent of what they've done, since it carries on long after they die.

Now, there's some similarities here between Mimic and Afton as well. First being, neither of them will fucking die. Afton is dead and gone but Glitchtrap remains. The original Mimic might be destroyed, but the program remains. Afton and Mimic kill whilst in mascot costumes, and both lure into isolated back rooms to do so. Since Glitchtrap is also luring people in costume with intent to harm? Yeah chalk that one up to another similarity, but my point with this part is that Mimic is representative of more than just one thing. Anyway.

Moving out of The Mimic story, lets move onto The Storyteller and the Tiger Rock stories. More focused on Tiger Rock though, to keep in line with the games' timeline, but these two are heavily intertwined.

Remember how I said earlier that Glitchtrap was scanned into the VR game in order to cut corners on development, and that the Mimic1 program was repurposed as the Storyteller to cut costs on the creative department? Yeah so, the Storyteller is intended to create new scripts and scenarios for the animatronics, but also for the VR and AR games available at the Plex. Mimic represents itself with Tiger Rock inside of these games, just as Glitchtrap represents itself as a mascot rabbit. More importantly though, both are intentionally inflicting harm on those within VR games.

They haunt Vanessa and Kai respectively within these games, both watching from the shadows, and gradually getting closer. Glitchtrap lures with glitchy tapes and giving his victim hope that they can forcibly remove it from the game and save themselves and others. Mimic by distractions, spooks, and the relief that it's all over when it isn't. Glitchtrap possesses and takes control of his victim, setting him free from the VR world and trapping them in his place, until someone else makes the same mistakes. Mimic does as Mimic has seen, and rips the arms off its victims, killing them, and moving onto the next one. Glitchtrap's victims are following the same formula as the previous victim they saw, while Mimic is following the same patterns as everyone it's seen before.

And now... The Storyteller story.

As I've said a few times, Glitchtrap and Mimic were both used in order to cut corners. We been knew. But this decision is what allowed them both to have full control of their version of the Pizzaplex. Glitchtrap was introduced to the Plex network by someone that couldn't have stopped it, and didn't know better than to follow him. Mimic was introduced to the Plex network by someone that didn't know any better, and couldn't have been stopped by the only person that did. They have full control over every aspect of their Pizzaplex, and alter the animatronics' behaviours to that of their own. Glitchtrap forces them to hunt and chase, while Mimic forces them to repeat the behaviours and patterns that it has learned. They're forcing them to do harm in their own ways. They're left unattended for too long, and people start to die. They're the puppetmasters now, Fazbear has no control over them.

The Storyteller gives us a new Edwin parallel as well. He's trying to stop the Storyteller from being installed, but is forced out by the company, a force beyond his control. He takes matters into his own hands the only way he knows how, and starts trying to communicate with Mimic to repair the damage that's being done, but is killed, by those same forces outside of his control. His efforts are futile. They never reach completion and if he'd been given more time, trust and control of the situation, the whole thing could have been dealt with properly before tragedy struck.

And then you have Vanessa. She's a developer on the VR game that Glitchtrap has infected. She's collecting those tapes and following instructions all to try and prevent this thing from escaping. She's trying to stop him, and is doing so in the only way she can think how, because no one takes her seriously about the problem. She is stopped by forces beyond her control from preventing her possession, and she's trapped indefinitely as a result. Had she been given the time to remove him from the game, had she been trusted, had she not been stopped by those out of control forces? It would have all been prevented. Unlike Edwin though, she was able to be saved. But not before the damage had been done.

Have I made my point yet? The Mimic, The Storyteller and Tiger Rock stories are intended to be parallels to the story of the games. The Mimic from these three? Is not the Mimic from Ruin. It's a representation of Glitchtrap. Edwin is a representation of a small part of Afton, and of Vanessa's struggle to stop what's happening. David (Edwin's son) is representative of Elizabeth dying to her father's negligence.

But then, what about Ruin Mimic? I hear you. This is where the epilogues are important.

There was a line of Mimic animatronics made, as they describe. The one remaining after years of them being discontinued like the springlock suits, is sent to be a display piece in the pizzeria under the Plex they intend to turn into a museum. What it saw before it's deactivation and what it's already done? We'll presumably see in the last epilogue. Perhaps it's a representation of how Glitchtrap was eventually stopped or of the animatronics under his influence being deactivated by children? Unsure.

It was sealed under the Plex concrete foundations, as it was sealed in the Pizzeria in the epilogues. A group of people found a way down there anyway and most, if not all of them never came back. The epilogues could be somewhat canon to the games, in that all but one of the construction crew is slaughter and all but one of the teens are picked off one by one. With two people surviving, it could have been a headline what had happened, or it could have been rumours and speculation what happened, hence the message log asking why the opened. If not, then perhaps the teens and construction crew are flipped in the games. Some kids found their way down to the Pizzeria, or accidentally activated it, and were killed, with the one that escaped being the reason it was sealed under the foundations. The Raceway staff that investigated the brownouts follow them, with the one that escaped (if any of them did) being the reason it was sealed in that one room instead of the pizzeria as a whole.

Maybe they made the MXES? Maybe Vanessa created the MXES to seal Glitchtrap but it was ultimately redirected to the Mimic? Unsure!

My point here is that, The Mimic, The Storyteller and Tiger Rock, are often very close parallels to the games. If we follow this logic, Cassie would be represented by the teens, maybe Lucia specifically if we find out Cassie survived. If Roxy as part of the MXES is represented at all, it'd probably be in the final epilogue, or perhaps as Wade, who dies trying to make it possible for Joel (I think?) to escape, only for Joel to die anyway. Haven't read more than the wiki summaries for the epilogues though so there's probably better fits, if any.

But yeah! That was my realisation! The characters in these three stories are sometimes extremely close to the characters in the games! I don't really know what's going on over at the Theory side of the community, but I think I got it here.

And I also just remembered that Mimic killing in costumes, and then later, killing via a digital representation of himself in VR is also very Afton and Glitchtrap.

This is just word vomit with like little to no punctuation of a random ADHD FNAF fuled thought train I had last night at like 2:00 a.m. like this is so rambly I'm sorry in advance XD

There is an au concept at the end though!

So I went down a rabbit hole of glam Mike theory stuff yesterday, which then evolved into Cassie's dad could be the bonnie bully from FNAF 4, which then evolved into what if Cassie's dad was also one of the technicians that we see in sister location that "went missing" to put it politely and probably what the public knows, and then that turned into since apparently from what I've heard underneath the pizza Plex is the FNAF 7 location where Michael died in the fire and then under the pizza simulator place is the sister location basement storage facility where the technician died. Which then also turned into what if the reason (ignoring the safe mode thing) Freddy couldn't be infected with the Afton virus thing was because he's possessed by Michael in some aspect and what if the reason bonnie got decommissioned was because he is also possessed so the virus thing didn't work on him, and since it didn't work on bonnie then he made Monty kill him or something I don't know. Either way he got taken out the picture so he wouldn't alert anyone and prevent afton/vanny's plans from going through. And a lot of Cassie's voice lines make it sound like her dad is missing or isn't around so I mean it would be kind of funny in a sad way if Cassie's dad is glam rock bonnie and he basically got killed twice. And the reason bonnie is still semi active is because he's possessed and that's the only thing keeping his battery going until Cassie like turns him off.

Which then got me going down the thought path of what if all the glam rocks are possessed by one of the bullies who all ended up working for fazbear entertainment somehow and dying in one of the locations that are apparently in and around and under the pizza Plex. This was seeming kind of promising for a cool AU because I highly doubt that this random thread of loosely tied together things would be canon but who knows at this point fazgoo's a thing. That is until I realized there's four bullies and even though there's four band members including bonnie that would make five meaning that one of the glam rocks is missing a bully. And I mean it would have been interesting because the whole glammike thing is like him subconsciously wanting to help Gregory because either literally or metaphorically he is like a rebuilt reincarnation or is metaphor for the crying child, and he's wanting to make up for his pretty big mistake from so many years ago, and all the other animatronics are like hunting them down or something because the Afton AI thingy is basically making them torment who they think is like the crying child again I don't know. Also at least for Freddy, Monty and bonnie they have a bully counterpart with a similar color palette. Like the bonnie bully has the same color palette as Cassie, the Freddy bully is wearing like a Monty green colored shirt and I mean it would kind of be ironic because the whole Monty wanting to replace Freddy thing, and then Michael Afton and glam rock Freddy having a lot in common even down to their arsonistic tendencies and also the fact that the outfit worn by the player character which is believed to be Michael Afton in pizzeria simulator is basically the reverse of glamrock Freddy's outfit with the whole bluey and orangey thing.

Like the more I was thinking about it the more it was weirdly lining up in some ways and I could start to understand why people like the Michael Afton is glen rock Freddy theory because I had never looked into it before, and then I found there was game theory videos where that was the entire premise that I had never seen even down to the bonnie bully thing. And I mean he explained the very chaotic rough idea I had in a much better more convincing way.

And then I went to bed because it was like 2:00 a.m. and I'm tired XD

Additionally!!!! I just thought that with the whole Michael Afton is Freddy and the bonnie bully guy is Cassie's dad and glam rock bonnie, considering the romantic involvement that glamrock bonnie and glen rock Freddy seem to have, imagine the tragic love story that you could do with Michael Afton and bonnie bully guy being like best friends who both did love each other romantically but because of the time it felt like they could say that or actually do anything about it. So they have been trying to be together their entire lives and even in their afterlives, but it seriously just does not work out every time. And plus it would bring a new meaning to the always forever thing, because you could do like a whole thing with when they were kids saying that to each other all the way up to them meeting again as adults saying that again and then bonnie and Freddy saying that to each other.

Then you could make it a happier story by having a happy ending where Cassie and Gregory and Vanessa probably managed to fix the animatronics, and since the place isn't such ruin literally I don't think they'd be able to fix the pizza Plex themselves so they just take the animatronics away in the van.

This next part here is partially inspired by a comic I saw last night, with glam rock Freddy Vanessa and Gregory all leaving at the end of security breach and then end up living in the old Afton family home by pure chance pretty much.

Which if you were bringing all the other animatronics there and whatever parts they could salvage from the remains of the pizza plex and parts and service, and then the place they end up staying at because it's the cheapest house they could find, turns out to have a bunch of animatronic making supplies in it which would be ideal. And then one of them ends up finding like a family picture with a kid in it that looks suspiciously like Gregory down to the outfit and everything, and then even crazier if they find another picture having Michael Afton and the bonnie bully guy in it and Cassie recognizes that guy as her dad.

And even more freaky if when they go into Michael's room that's when they find that picture, and on the picture is written the same "always forever" message but this time instead of being from Freddy to bonnie it's from the bonnie bully to Michael causing a lot of them to go into an existential crisis.

I think that would be funny

CRACK THEORY: Security Breach takes place in the DISTANT FUTURE (like, 2100)

Tried to write this but accidentally deleted it all. Not gonna try and type it all back out but here's my random crack theory in a nutshell:

Bears are implied to be extinct in the FNAF universe by the time Security Breach takes place

We see very few actual people throughout the Pizzaplex even as far as night staff goes, for such a large environment. There's a ton of animatronics that are noticeably sentient or at least extremely intelligent without being possessed - i.e. the mapbots, S.T.A.F.F bots, etc.

The FNAF 6 location is deep underground in Security Breach which doesn't make a lot of sense

All the human characters from the first six games (1, 2, 3, 4, SL, FFPS) are either dead or have had their consciousness transferred into an animatronic or something similar. Elizabeth is in Baby, Michael is possibly the cause of the weird behavior in Glamrock Freddy, William is... William, and Henry died in a fire in FNAF 6. The only character that comes to mind that isn't accounted for is Mrs. Afton and while MatPat's theory that she's running the company definitely makes sense, we also don't have enough evidence to confirm it.

In Help Wanted, the tapes suggest that the devices and circuit boards scanned into the game are old. We can presume that this might include the "power module" from Baby in SL. That wouldn't really be that old, right?

In Help Wanted, handunit / the narrator lampshades the entire timeline by saying that FNAF 1-4 were the works of a deranged indie game developer based on lies, and suggests that those games have been out for some time, and are based on events that happened some time ago. This implies a large gap in the timeline between FNAF 1-4 (+ SL) and HW/SB.

My theory... is that Security Breach takes place a REALLY long time from now, and the reason that bears are extinct is because climate change fucking killed them. The Glamrock animatronics are more sentient that any others in the past because at this point in the timeline General AI is just a thing. This even makes sense for the Gregory robot hypothesis.

I am only posting enough about some Sonic AUs I've had in mind for context for an image I've come up with that I don't think I can just Not share: This entire chain of AU ideas started when I was in my mid/late teens when I started reading Ghosts of the Future (that Future AU written by Ian Flynn Evan Stanley, don't know how I got that wrong ) and after catching up I ended up thinking up a Future AU of that set after GUN's been defeated. All that's relevant of what I called GofT Whirlwind is:

The 'main' character who I'll refer to as the originally planned last name Hunter is a descendant of Infinite and son of a famous Extreme Gear racer known as the 6th Black Baron, who originally was a member of GUN before a whole Plot happened and ended up on the other side and taking up the mantle of his dad's opposing racer the Red Rider. (He was a faded green wolf originally but now I'm thinking that Hunter and his dad should be Jackals. Also I could go into depth about his suit as the Red Rider and how it isn't necessarily red. Also I can't remember if the notion of Chaos Powers was introduced in GotF or if I just expanded/made it up from somewhere, but his ability was Chaos Sight which gave him...essentially Eagle Vision from AC? idk I was inspired by the tracking mechanic from Lego Lord of the Rings. There's also just too many OCs from this to talk about Just in this post so, like, ask I guess.)

The only other OC I will mention is sleeper agent murder android fox who very much does not like 4 of those 5 words and ends up defecting before Hunter. She's called Sabina, probably more of the protagonist than Hunter is at first.

Tails uploaded his mind immediately post death to become an AI. He gets a robot body after being stuck inside the Tornado up until (reads notes) Story Chapter 2 of...5? (the entire Plot I mentioned earlier? That's just Chapter number 1)

Also there's another noteable part of this AU which is that Infinite had a sister who survived/left, who had a son who ended up as a part of the batch of Rookies and the main one's best friend. Remember this later

Then I ended up making an AU of the Dark GotF AU (where Shadow died instead) with Hunter having things A Lot Worse. His family died in a resistance raid and he nearly burnt to death, only to be taken by the GUN higher ups and made into a living chimera weapon who could absorb Chaos powers through absorbing blood. His deal in this AU is that when he gets introduced he pretty much only likes Silver, and that he disguises his nature with a longcoat, gloves, orange tinted glasses and a lot of other things to hide the wings and tail...and pretty much everything but his head.

That's the past context: onto this year, where Adult Me is looking back and brainstorming/rethinking again, while I'm also looking at IDW comics - especially Surge. I looked at Surge and Kit, I looked at Dark GotF Hunter, and said "yeah this could be fun" So onto the last AU of this, this time of IDW. A bad future ends up happening with Eggman Empire in control because Surge ended up killing Sonic, so Silver ended up going back in time to help Sonic. Hunter ended up going back in time as well to also stop Surge but meets them and goes "wow ok these guys need help." Sabrina also comes back in time but everyone thinks she's here to stop them from Preventing Sonic's death.

Long Story Short Surge ends up unable to kill Sonic, Sabrina finally gets to reveal that No she's here to stop Hunter because he gets all the Chaos Powers and ends up getting a vision that Maybe drives him insane/is him being possessed. I would have kept that as a surprise but Hunter going and releasing Infinite from the Phantom Ruby as his right hand man is important. But eventually everyone (except Sonic) wins and the future is changed again with only the timetravellers remembering the whole deal.

A later incident ends up with the planet from two different times (present and Silver's future) being in each other's sky. Another long story but basically Infinite joins Eggman and the future villain because he learnt from last time that he has surviving family, and basically Hunter redeems himself during this whole thing and takes Infinite to go see his sister (leading to him retiring). AI Tails also appears from the future world.

Then there's story set exclusively in the future, which I'm Not going to spoil since If I write it well it's going to have some really good twists, but I ended up thinking about in this future Surge and Kit being immortal due to whatever Starline did to them (Kit's also taller now) and them being part of Gun, and a bit where Shadow and Robo Tails meeting up with them (Tails is not allowed in Kit's stuff) ended up during the thinking process having Surge say something along the lines of "the hangout's not today".

So yeah, the image: Shadow, Surge, Kit, Robo AI Tails, Infinite, Metal and Mecha Sonic all sitting around at their usual immortals hangout session.

That's it, that's the entire reason I've released the knowledge of 3 of my Sonic AUs out into the wild. dropping this and seeing what happens overnight

also maeve fly was kinda trash. like there was a lot of stuff that was fun but it was a total pulp novel. the entire time you're hyper aware of just how hard the author is trying to seem cool and edgy despite being like, a uquiz maker at heart. like she definitely uses the tiktok ai voice in her 'did I just write the book of the summer' videos.

spoilers but also I hated the ending. I liked the last third of the book being somewhat of a descent in a state of frenzy, but I think finding out that Gideon had so much power over her - specifically in the dolls and then in Maeve killing him while possessed - took away a lot of who she was supposed to be. maybe she could be going crazy on her own maybe she was the one making the dolls. if the timeline were different I would understand him being the one making the dolls, but as is I don't think it's particularly compelling to know that Gideon was targeting her and the dolls were part of that. the psychosis of seeing herself place the dolls and realizing that it's her that doesn't fit in LA among people would have been so much more interesting than 'oh the love interest did that part' because him being a killer on its own was enough.

and with her being possessed while killing Gideon, her psychosis taking over and her not making that decision, I felt like it took away her agency within the story which had been so important to her character so far. if she mourns the loss of a like individual while recognizing that it's too dangerous to have him around and kills him with purpose instead of in the flighty unsure way she did, it might have meant something more or been satisfying. instead it reads like the author just wanted something to happen there so she killed off gideon rather than Maeve taking control of the story and killing Gideon.

leedes wishes she wrote american psycho so bad. the end where she spoons out dereks eye, where she goes on her spree, it's all actions without consequences. the scenes are somewhat fanfictiony with how disconnected they are. anyway we never see that phone call where patrick is told that paul has been in paris, we just end in the middle of a rising plot. I think leedes have maeve choose to kill gideon would have solved this problem, because then maeve would have made a decision where the acts she takes at the end all seem compulsory. she is kind of wandering around LA just watching as gideon dies, kate cuts her off, the band dies. it's totally incongruent with the character leedes is trying to present with maeve(which isn't always successful, sometimes she comes across as a voyeur rather than a character.

in a word, I would describe the book as try-hard. still glad I read it but not glad I bought it, I think I'm gonna return it.

actually. thinking of jack n peter in the lambchop tkp au (<- HAS NEVER TALKED ABT IT BEFORE)

ok. putting it all under cut

tw 4 child death, mention of manipulation, neglect, implied stalking

ummm. i dont wanna share the doc bc dave :[ she gets w-word the whole time and psike gets d-word + he/him'd the whole time too. also the horrors. ...also it actually vaguely touches on spoilers for tkp. my co-writer for it doesn't know .

the whole jist is:

pinto (my friend's oc)- unfortunately comes into henry's grasp n being a demon; is subject to coming under henry's care bc. her mom fucking sucks n doesn't go to look for her (<- pinto even says "yeah my mom leaves the door open so it's ok if i go out ! +v+")

yadda yadda henry manipulates pinto just like dave while raising her (BARELY. PSIKE IS THE ONE WHO TAKES CARE OF HER MORE. Ne's a big brother to pinto until ne dies 2 years later)

henry has her kill.. has her come with him on one of his freddy trips (where he gets peter KILLED. but it's ok bc peter got to see pinto breaking it down) (IT'S NOT OKAY?????????)

pinto also eats his soul btw . henry manipulated her to .fcukass

anyways yadda skip 2 years later, psike dies while pinto watched nem work (ne died protecting pinto this time), days later, pinto gets springed; and some time after is when peter becomes more actively involved now that it's just 2 souls in a bot

ok main jist mostly down right?

fast forward to dayshift 1 + cue jack. he goes through dayshift 1 normally and then it's dayshift 2 and... caroline ??? is there as a phone-head? he doesn't know why, but something just feels. off abt this. but he goes through it (<- note, i don't have any of this written out. the lambchop au mainly focused on pinto's perspective)

then dayshift 3.. he goes through with the good end as normal, but WITHOUT evicting naomi bc caroline is there now (she didnt get into a crash! yay!)

but like he gets to the end- the final level of the flipside. and there is a woman he has never seen before (it's martha btw) and for some reason he feels ANGRY. like this isn't supposed to happen.

...and he abandons the run.

he does this a couple more times- repeating everything. but it all ends the same: that woman is there, instead of someone else.

he knows peter is missing. for some reason he feels like peter's supposed to be here, but... peter isn't. and jack doesn't know why.

so he finally gives up. goes for the normal end. buys lambchop, not knowing pinto and PETER are in it. peter had only seen jack from after the newscast of dee happened, but then nothing else. peter recognized his little brother, but he couldn't bring himself to call out to him. in this au... peter and jack hadn't reconciled (or at least the best they could) over dee's death not being jack's fault, so this affects the both of them in different ways.

so, peter thinks it's better to keep pretending to be a 'normal' animatronic (minus the occassional accidental murder. henry put that mechanic on the lambchop animatronic. she's like baby except she really does harvest souls)

ne wayz jack big bucks! he finally buys out his old house and moves out of caroline + naomi's house... for the best. he couldn't stay there any longer

naomi catches wind of smth going on with jack, and knowing that jack was fond of lambchop (note: he tolerated her more. but it was the same 2 naomi) fae breaks in with the intent of making lambchop sentient! (fae doesnt know.)

naomi eventually picks up lambchop isn't just ai but is ok.. still takes her home.. also vicktor works there! soon learns that not only is lambchop possessed by pinto, but peter too! naomi doesn't know who peter is

anyways.. christmas day; yadda yadda; jack + naomi get into a fight over naomi bringing lambchop 2 keep him company.. naomi lets loose that A SMALL CHILD IS IN THAT FUCKING ROBOT because jack was being stubborn abt not being alone and wouldnt accept the 10 ft robot into his home and jack is like "🧍‍♂️ you have to be shitting me." and keeps denying that he doesn't need company, he's better alone, and leaves.

anyways. naomi breaks into jack's home (aka she drives there with lambchop to jack's home and politely knocks. also davetrap bothers them for a bit (he may or may not have spotted depressed jack and went to his house. it was totally fine.) but it's ok because naomi tackles her and lambchop apprehends him)

naomi tries to force jack to tell lambchop straight up why she couldn't stay with him, but jack, stubbornly refusing to, snaps at naomi and the two of them fight in front of pinto, causing peter to take over for lambchop and um. god. peter speaks and jack just. tries to deny that lambchop is possessed. because he knows that voice. he's starting to realize where peter went .

and they talk abt it and oh my god this kinda detracted from the point i was gonna make. huh. fcuk. sorry the lambchop au makes me feel things .

jack still argues at peter, still trying to place himself in the right until he just... tells peter to go away. n peter knows his brother. he knows aggravating him more would do nothing.

i think jack does regret arguing with peter still, ESPECIALLY with that being their first interaction after... god knows how long.

...it pertains to when naomi gets caught up in trouble and pinto (<- only she was able to go through to the flipside), jack, and co have to go through the flipside and reach the end again.

even thought jack claimed to be angry and frustrated at peter, and even though he knew where his soul was.. jack was even more frustrated that martha was still in his place. that he still couldn't save him.

........that was literally the whole point i was trying to make. anyways that's all. hope that help

The birdies are there every single day, some make noise at night too. The acoustic in this place is phenomenal unfortunately so despite living on 13th floor I hear everything??? My fave thing about Ateez's lore for personal reasons is that they often reference things I'm already familiar with, I love themes of dystopia and rebellion. At one point it's a shame I can't explore all the things for the first time, I know some theorytinys who read books like 1984, now Eye in the Sky, watch movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind etc, but on the other hand I can connect all the dots quickly, because I know it all. Tamers with Pokemon teams set 2

Super late, but here it is. Same rules as last time. This time it's: Kazu, Kenta, Suzie, Alice, and Ai & Mako.

If you haven't seen the first part here it is: 1

Kazu

Did I choose half of these because they're knight themes?? Yes, yes I did. The other half was chosen mostly for steel typing with only Klink having a solid reason.

Aegislash: Aegislash was chosen since Kazu wants to be heroic, and ya know. Heroes... swords... yeah.

Karrablast: Karrablast was chosen because I wanted to give Kazu and Kenta a duo pokemon set and Karrablast/Escavalier fit Kazu the best of the two. I forget how pokemon that evolve via trading work in the anime, but I'm assuming it's like normal pokemon, so just pretend that happens.

(Galarian) Farfetch'd: You may have noticed that half this team is knight themed, and yes that's the reason here too.

Steelix: Chosen for it's steel typing, since Guardromon ya know?

Klink: Ok so I originally I chose Klink because I figured Guardromon's child level was Hagurumon, but it turns out (tamers) Guardromon's child level is Kokuwamon?? Anyway I'm keeping Klink in honor of what could've been.

Magneton: Again, for steel typing.

Kenta

Mostly a water main. Luckily there's a surplus of water types to choose from.

Feebas: Underdog evolves into a beautiful Milotic. I think it fits Kenta, Feebas/Milotic loosely representing Marinangemon ig.

Shelmet: For the duo pokemon with Kazu. Accelgor just fits better for him than Escavalier.

Primarina & Jigglypuff: Both chosen for singing, which Kenta likes to do (he's apparently bad at it tho, F). Also Primarina is water/fairy and honestly that'd be Marinangemon's typing if they were a pokemon.

Alomomola: Water typing and it has healing abilities, like Marinangemon. Also pink.

Azumarill: Water typing and a kind nature, like Marinangemon.

Suzie

Pokemon team comprised of cute pokemon. Yeah, nothing to say for this one really.

Stufful & Snubbul: Chosen for their cute looks and the fact that they evolve to, while still cute, strong pokemon. They feel like they fit her.

Ribombee: Cute factor and the fact it has fairy typing.

Buneary: Obvious Lopmon stand-in is obvious.

Cherrim: Ok but why isn't Cherrim grass/fairy? It's just pure grass. Anyway, chosen for it's cuteness and the fact that it's sunshine form is full of energy. Which is fitting for Suzie and it can play with her.

(Galarian) Ponyta: Predictably, cute factor and the fact it has healing powers and can read the contents of a persons heart.

Alice

Mainly ghost types for the maybe ghost girl. I can't remember if it was ever explicitly stated if she was dead or not. Certainly implied tho.

Houndoom: Take a wild guess. That's right, Cerberumon stand-in. After all, Houndooms pokedex entries say it's howl reminds people of the grim reaper. Making it fitting for a stand-in for a digimon based off of Cerberus.

Phantump: Pokedex entries say it was formed when a lost kid died in the woods and possessed a stump. Alice was McCoy's granddaughter that disappeared.

Gengar: So Alice is kinda implied to be a ghost. So yeah, Gengar. Standard ghost type pokemon.

Mismagius: Don't have a good reason for this one tbh.

Gothorita: Look, I may have chosen this one because it aesthetically matches Alice and that may be the entire reason.

Drifloon: Kidnaps kids and takes'em away, according to its pokedex entries and Alice did disappear so... yeah.

Ai & Mako

Ah yes, the babies of the cast, they're like 5. A bit harder since they barely show up.

Impidimp: Can you guess that this is the Impmon stand-in?? Also, dark/fairy? That fits these kids. Mischievous nature and all that

Sneasel: A semi-Impmon stand-in! Again.

Nuzleaf & Gourgeist: Tbh? Dark/ghost typing. Did you know tamers) Impmon's ultimate form is Death Meramon?? Yeah.

Indeedee: Acts as the kids babysitter, they need one badly.

Espurr: A baby with a lot of power?? Yeah fits the kids since their partner can digivolve to Mega even without them.

And that's it for the Tamers kids! I could do the adults but meh. Also I totally forgot about Milcery/Alcremie when I was making the last set so just pretend Takato's parents have an Alcremie that helps with the bakery.

Once again if you have any thoughts about other pokemon that'd fit the kids, I'd like to hear them.
