Why there is a rise in conservative opinions in all the world?
It is clear that convervative opinions have gained prominence in the political scene of several countries and influenced the political direction of the world population. In Brazil,  the election of Jair Bolsonaro demonstrated a turning point in brazilian political conduct. After 16 years led by a left-wing political party, the majority of the brazilian population decided to elect a leader with convervative opinions, who is not afraid to appear racist, misogynist and sexist.
In the United States, it is also posible to observe a leader with similar thoughts. It is true that each country has different reasons for the rise of conservative opinions, but it is posible to visualize some themes that are recurrent debated and understood as true flags to be defended by theses people. Protection against immigration, national identity, respect for traditional family values and religious beliefs are usually the themes defended.
In my opinion, there was no increase in the number of people who think conservatively, but the evolution of social networks has enabled people to join their voices to fight for what they believe. In addition, access to information has enabled people to follow the political process more closely.
In a democracy, there is always a dispute of powers and values that want to be recognized as the best. This has to do with democratic essence itself and must be safeguarded. However, there must be a starting point, wich allows the human rights that have already been achieved not to be reversed and, thus, allows people from right-wing and left-wing to talk in a democratic manner.

“China ist nicht das Problem”
Eine ausgezeichnete Hintergrundanalyse zu China, den USA und unternehmerischer Habgier.
Countries that are lagging behind upgrade their technologies in many ways, through study, imitation ... and, yes, copying. And with any fast-changing technologies, there are always running battles over intellectual property. That's true even among US companies today ... this kind of competition is simply a part of the global economic system ...
The United States relentlessly adopted British technologies in the early 19th century. And when any country wants to close a technology gap, it recruits know-how from abroad ... If China were a less populous Asian country, say like South Korea, with a little more than 50 million people, it would simply be hailed by the United States as a great development success story - which it is. But because it is so big, China refutes America's pretensions to run the world.

Climate Change
As you can see, we are now facing the biggest environmental challenge our generation has ever seen. The resource scarcity, extreme weather, food scarcity, water insecurity, and sea level rise will all threaten societies around the world is the effect of global climate change. Here in the Philippines, the effect of globalization is extensively visible since we are located in the western Pacific Ocean, surrounded by naturally warm water. The Global Climate Risk Index 2015 listed the Philippines as the number one most affected country by climate change, using 2013’s data. It also takes part our geography and development, this two factors combine to worsen both this threat and its devastating consequences.
One of the common effect here in our country is typhoon. According to statistics, there are 10 deadliest typhoons in our sovereign country between 1947 - 2014. The alarming news is five out of 10 occurred since 2006, affecting and displacing thousands of citizens every time. Seven of these 10 deadly storms each resulted in more than 1,000 casualties. According to research, the deadliest storm on record in the Philippines is Typhoon Haiyan known locally as Typhoon Yolanda which was responsible for more than 6300 lives and over four million displaced citizens, and 2 billion dollars in damages in 2013.
The effect of climate change is widely visible. You will notice as the time goes by, the effect of the typhoon is getting worse. The last few years we are only using Public Storm Warning Signal Number 1-4 but due to rapid improvement of the weather condition or acceleration of speed of movement of the tropical cyclone, the PAG ASA announced they will have Public Storm Warning Signal #5. Hence, we can say that the world experience drastically change and the probability of getting higher in the next 50 years is highly possible.
Then the effect of El Nino and La Nina. El Nino is phenomenon occurs when the surface of ocean waters in the southern Pacific becomes abnormally warm. This phenomenon resulted in reduced rainfall that led to dry spells, droughts and stronger typhoons. The WWF-Philippine Study says, "increasingly difficult to accurately predict weather patterns for purposes of planning and normal business operations."
The effect of this phenomenon here in our country affects all of us not just on agricultural aspects but on our daily lives. According to Department of Agriculture, they recorded that one of the most longest and dangerous El Nino occurred on 16 of the country’s 18 regions were affected between February 2015 and July 2016. The impact was reportedly the strongest in Mindanao where 27 provinces were affected which was responsible for USD 325 million worth of total damage and production losses in crops 1.48 million metric tonnes of crops lost, including rice, corn, cassava and high value crops such as banana and rubber 413 456 affected farming households are in need of support to recommence farming activities in the next cropping season.
La Nina is episodes represent periods of below-average sea surface temperatures across the east-central Equatorial Pacific. Global climate La Niña impacts tend to be opposite those of El Niño impacts. a cooling of the water in the equatorial Pacific that occurs at irregular intervals and is associated with widespread changes in weather patterns complementary to those of El Niño, but less extensive and damaging in their effects
The worst La Nina in the Philippines recorded last January 14, 2001. Terrential Rains and flooding have battered 25 provinces in the Philippines over the last two weeks. Flooding and mudslides have killed 42 people, with 8 injured and 5 people missing. A damage bill to agriculture, housing and infrastructure has been estimated to be 900 million pesos (about US$23million).
The massive flooding affected over 1.3 million people from 144 towns in the eastern provinces. 101 evacuation centres were set up to temporarily house people. More than 22,000 people remain in government-run temporary shelters while waiting for floodwaters to ebb, with nearly 1,300 houses damaged or destroyed.
Tens of thousands of scientists in more than a hundred nations have amassed an overwhelming amount of evidence pointing to a clear conclusion: Humans are the main cause. Throwing trash in any places, cutting trees to build infrastructure, rapidly changing by adding too much waste to it, such as when cars and generators release carbon dioxide into the air and many more. We did those to have a modernize world, thinking this is the solution for making our lives easier. We became selfish in our negligence so we are all experiencing this kind of calamities. Using this article, may we the voice of the world to create change and influence other people to use their and power and voice to save our world. Lets use our intellect to avoid such things that has the big effect in our nature, let's use our freedom in a right and goodway. It's time to change, let's learn from our own mistakes and just love our nature like how we love our family because environment is also our family.

Cancelled!
Detective Comics Before Batman Omnibus
Tumblr media
I’m kind of bummed to hear that this great looking two volume omnibus series has been cancelled by D.C. I haven’t heard what their official reason for cancelling it was. Maybe they ran the numbers and remembered there were only 26 issues of Detective Comics before Batman made his debut; that limited amount of content isn’t exactly worthy of two big ass omnibus volumes. Especially since most omnibus editions contain at least 30+ issues.
Tumblr media
It’s pretty rare for a company like D.C. or Marvel to announce a book’s publication and then cancel it before release. I’m wondering if D.C. cancelling this Detective Comics Before Batman Omnibus has more to do with the content than the projected sales figures or anything financial. Many of these stories are products of their time and reflect the prevalent anti-Japanese mentality present in America in the 1920s, ‘30s and ‘40s. This was definitely the era of the “fanged monster Jap” in comic books. I’ve noticed in the past that many 1940s and earlier comic books that depict the Japanese as fanged, yellow-skinned monster people are rarely collected or republished. I think many of those kinds of stories haven’t been collected since the end of World War II due to their perceived offensive, often blatantly racist imagey. Images like those below are rarely reprinted today due to how politically correct our modern world has become. Many representations (of the Japanese in particular) were often way beyond the level of caricature or parody. Just look at the cover of Detective Comics number 1 for proof of that. D.C. has been criticized in the past for reprinting comics that have racist or sexist content. I have a feeling they are likely looking to avoid some critical backlash by just cancelling the publication outright. These two new books would have sold without questions. I’m thinking D.C. cancelling these has more to do with the racist content of early issues of Detective Comics than it does with any kind of projected sales figures. Whatever the reason, D.C. isn’t talking.
Many of these early issues of Detective Comics really aren’t the best so I’m not that bummed to see them cancelled. Still, it would have been nice to have a complete run of Detective Comics published in the luxurious omnibus format.
They would have looked great on a shelf...

Why is this Apocalypse? — Chip Tsao
Tumblr media
#OpinionArticle #ChipTsao Why is this Apocalypse? — Chip Tsao (27 Feb) China let the Wuhan Pneumonia epidemic happen because they lacked self-confidence in western values. Yet, China pretends to construct an overlapping period of this “Humanity with a Common Destiny.” The leftards of the western society have a long history of drumming up the introspective guilt towards western civilisation. A hundred years ago, German writer Oswald Spengler wrote the book Decline of the West (Der Untergang des Abendlandes) to undermine the occidental-centric viewpoint of history, and argued that western European civilisation was in a declining or even destructing stage. ————————————- //But they don’t know that contemporary China has no “civilisation.” //The so-called “Construction of Humanity with a Common Destiny” and “China Dream” were just bubbles formed by pumping money from China’s GDP to the world. //Their wait for China to construct “Humanity with a Common Destiny” is, of course, a nightmare as well as a joke. EU, UN, WHO, and WTO are rotten inside and out one more than the next.
