Link would be the type of chess player that has a hard time concentrating on the strategy of the whole board and can only concentrate on a piece at a time. He loses most games, but his strategy is nonexistent, making him extremely unpredictable. Revali is a master strategist, (which we can see in his dialogue in Age of Calamity), so Link's blockheaded, rock-eating playing style is infuriating.

Another thing that Fallen London is about, among the many things that Fallen London is about, is by various circumstances coming into the possession of some item that you've never seen before and of which you know no purpose and just kind of having to go huh. well this will probably come in handy someday.

No, Microsoft Word, upon consideration I don't think my audience will be offended by my use of the word "fuck". My intended audience is queers, teenagers, and queer teenagers, all of whom seem to be absolutely fucking delighted by my use of the word "fuck".

something i feel responders to pjo criticisms are not getting is book accuracy is important.
rick riordan created this project to be a book accurate adaptation on the screen. it doesn’t matter if annabeth is white and blonde, those people who are mad about that are wrong and their “criticisms” should be just thrown out. no, i’m talking real criticism. because being upset a series whose reason for existing is to be a faithful adaptation isn’t? not stupid. if you can enjoy the series—in my opinion not all the changes are objectively bad, but many, from a storytelling angle? from pure craftsmanship? are objectively bad—regardless, i’m happy for you. truly, if you feel the joy and magic the original series gave me while watching this show, i am overjoyed someone feels the magic. that’s more magical to me, worth more, than the show itself. but if you then insult me for not enjoying the show? tell me i must not love the story as much as you? tell me i am simply looking to hate the newest next thing, and not that i adore this series so much it pains me to see it so? that i don’t wish to see it succeed regardless of the betrayal i feel?
silly me, i thought our shared love of something meant we could all express it, even in different ways. but i guess not. i guess many of the series’ fans are just keen to discuss the show with the same bad faith it was made in.

the end of way of kings is so funny. we have the vast majority of our main cast preparing for the final all-decisive battle that will decide whether Alethkar will be annihilated. and then we have have snapshots of kaladin. laying in bed. insulting the king to his face. going through it with his SAD. refusing to let his wounds heal properly.

Continuation of a continuation but it’s crazy how much Will has powers implications are made in an episode that Will isn’t even in.
Nancy says not one but two implicating lines regarding Will—
—and in the very same episode they introduce a device that can supress powers.
They tell us that Will has powers and then answer the question as to why we haven’t seen them in one go.

In the Animatronic Vanny & Reluctant Follower Jeremy AU, I mentioned in a previous post—at least in the tags, how she was sent by Glitchtrap to befriend and trick Glam Fred and Gregory.
What was supposed to happen was that she would eventually bring Gregory to Glitchtrap—while having a little bit of help from Jeremy here and there. It seemed easy enough. But then comes a bit of a situation-
It’s basically that situation of ‘Character sent to spy/etc on other group of characters, but as they spend time with the group, has difficulties with the plan, and likes the group.’ ...Y’know what I’m talking about.
On an unrelated note, sorry if this isn’t a very good explanation or anything—it’s late, but I wanted to go ahead and talk about this stuff.
It essentially leads into one of the endings from the game—just different. Remember how Gregory ‘dissasembles’ Vanny in one? I can’t exactly remember the exact ending names right now.
Glitchtrap, quickly realizing what decision Vanny has made down the line, orders Jeremy to disassemble her when the group eventually arrives to try and stop what’s been going on.
In short, rather than it happen to Glam. Freddy, it happens to Vanny here.
Jeremy isn’t freed from any of the control. There’s still, admittedly, some stuff that I’m working on involving the AU—but I still have a good amount planned out.
It’s kind of a mix between things. Vanny gets destroyed, Jeremy isn’t freed, the other animatronics are broken, and Gregory leaves with a van in the end.
Though, before the mentioned van deal happens, Gregory manages to snatch a few things, in hopes of trying to repair/help Vanny on the way, since the three of them can’t stay.
Glitchtrap & Jeremy try to go after them, though.
