This is kind of inspired by people who talk about wanting the series to have one main POV in the series.

And while I do find multi POVs interesting, I can understand the reasons.

Also a small aside- two POVs work for this arc solely so we can see what is happening with the Journeying cats, but also back at the Clans, but that’s beside the point. But if you had to pick ONE cat here’s your chance to say who from the list and beyond.

i’m reading a multi chaptered fic and suddenly the pov changed in chapter 6 and it’s made me want to close the fic so badly oops. and it’s just reminded me of how much i love romance stories (books and fics) that have only one pov and how rare that is in the romance book world because readers seem to love dual povs romance books.

#this is assuming that it is done purposefully. and by that i mean I don’t count when you’re reading a scene that shifts pocs back and forth #constantly “by accident” kinds like tense changes that are a mistake #I truly am so curious about other people’s thoughts because to me reading a fic from only one pov is so important and connects me to the #story and the characters so much more #poll

me after editing the aau prologue for the bajillionth time

Back to the present with a Firestar granchild and forced-Medicine Cat, and two SkyClan cats.

I could make a similar argument for this arc as Arc 2. Since I do think it’s interesting we got an inside view of what was going on inside the big bad’s group.
