I’m doing this without thinking too much and with the visuals I managed to cobble together. These rankings are nebulous at best 😂

4. Soft grey sweater with the Richmond logo when he’s having lunch with Rebecca and her mom (Keeley’s there too). Also seen draped over his shoulder while getting dressed before visiting the school with Roy and Trent. I think he wears it a lot in season 1? Idk. I love it.

1. Soft grey sweater without the Richmond logo seen in MRGA the night before the game. Also, YOU made this gif which has made me extra fond of it 🥰

2. Light blue husband/weekend/casual-ish sweater my beloved (pretend this is a gif from the Oklahoma scene where he’s not wearing a dress shirt underneath.)

3. Crisp blue sweater in the “Ted!”/Empire Strikes back scene at the start of season 2 (he just looks really good anytime he's in it in season 2 but that’s the first scene I think of.)

This would be the kind of adorably goofy fic I would struggle to actually write, focused around the yearly holiday party at the Higgins household and how it gets so big that they've eventually got people eating in every room on all kinds of unorthodox surfaces a la the skateboard dining room table in 2x4.

Or it would be a tender and bittersweet fic about Beard revisiting his lumberjack days (and pulling out some secret carpentry skills) on a visit to Ted in Kansas, as they work to create a kitchen table out of some wood salvaged from Ted's childhood house or some other meaningful place.

so hard to choose! i spent a while browsing my camera roll :)

cherry blossoms (i know they grow in lots of places, but they're a big deal in my hometown)

roses (especially any kind of multicolor– but especially orangey-pink– where the colors blend in such a way that it looks like it glows

azalea (also a big deal in my other hometown)

lilac (it smells so nice!)

laurel (one of my mom's favorites, she gets so excited about it every year)

ETA: lily of the valley! I forgot because I didn't see one this year to take a picture of... but they're so pretty and also sentimental because one of the songs my mom would sing when i was little is about them ("White Choral Bells")
