Not too long after Louis, it was his twin sisters' birthday. Emma had spent all morning in the kitchen, baking sweet treats for the party, and soon, bit by bit, all immediate family arrived to celebrate.

With a cuddle and a kiss, it was time to send Ruby and Dorothy off to be yet another year older. Although, to Emma and Niall, it felt like they were only just born yesterday.

In toddlerhood, just as when they were younger, Emma still insisted on dressing the girls in matching dresses at all times, with Ruby wearing green and Dorothy wearing the same in red. This was not going to change any time soon, for as long as she had any say in dressing them.

Their personalities were only just developing, but it became clearer than before that Dorothy was a much more energetic child than her sister, even more so than she was as a baby. Meanwhile, Ruby's tendency to seek the protection of her parents and to stick near her younger sister was manifesting more now as well. Either way, their bond as twins was still as strong as ever, that much was clear.

Tuesday Confessions

I decided I’m going to let you all know a little bit about me that no one really knows:

I really enjoy Doflamingo and Law as characters. They are both so complex and just interesting. The relationship between the two is so well written and it’s just…wow. Don’t get me wrong, every character and relationship in this story is great, but their’s just hits different for me!

I know I’ll get a ton of hate for this. I CAN’t STAND NARUTO. I only enjoy like five characters (Kakashi, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Rock Lee and Shikamara)

The random kid Pirates stories were actually inspired by my sister’s commentary when I tell her about one piece.

On wattpad, for my friend’s birthday like 9 years ago (yes I’m old), she wanted me to help her write a One Direction fan fic where her and I met them. It was so bad! I’d write a normal fluffy fanfic chapter and then she’d write the next chapter and BOOM, evil twin or something weird that made no sense!!!! I had to adapt to these, which was awful to do as a writer. Don’t ask me the name, I don’t remember it. Plus, IT NEEDS TO DIE!!!

My favorite one piece ship is Sabo x Koala.

My sister and I have anime character nicknames for each other based on personality. She calls me Koala (OP) and I call her Geto (JJK). It’s her bangs that creates that nickname!

Any time I create an OC, their birthday is a nod to someone in their life or their story. Ex. Colette (Lettie) my OC with Sanji, who is a pastry chef, is born on October 14 which is National Dessert Dayy

It was quite late already, when Emma came home from a long day at the studio. She had only just arrived, when suddenly, she heard the baby crying upstairs. Quickly, she went to check on him, only to find him all alone in his room, when Niall was supposed to be looking after him.

The dull sound of glass falling onto carpet followed by a louder thump drew her attention away for a moment, unsure what just happened in the other room. With Louis in her arms, Emma made her way next door, where she found her husband trying to pick himself off the floor. It seemed as though he tripped and fell, while holding a glass and bottle in hand.

In hopes of offering some comfort, Emma sat down next to a quietly sobbing Niall. To him, however, any sign of comfort was still far away. He had been on edge for days, maybe weeks at this point, only calming down the slightest amount when numbing his brain with alcohol. Now, there was no excuse to keep that from his wife any longer. And while Emma was not exactly able to understand the way he felt and why, she would do anything to help him, since he clearly had trouble all by himself.

[TRANSCRIPT]

Louis: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

Emma: "Louis? It's okay sweetheart. Your mummy's here. But where's your father gone?"

*faint crash*

Niall: "Ugh... what the-"

Emma: "Niall!? Are you alright? What happened?"

Niall: "I- I don't know."

Niall: "I- ouch... I was just getting a refill and then I fell."

Emma: "Louis was crying when I came home."

Niall: "I know! But I was gone for a minute, I swear! I just cannot stand that noise!"

Niall: "Gosh, Emma, I'm so sorry. I don't know what to do anymore."

Emma: "What do you mean?"

Niall: "Everything feels like it's too much for me these days."

Niall: "I love our son, I really do! But when I look at him, I see my life going on without me. And then I just want to crawl into bed, hide away from it all. The alcohol helps drown it all out, but it makes me feel worse afterward."

Niall: "I feel so hopeless, Emma!"

Emma: "Oh, sweetheart, don't say such things!"

Niall: "What else am I supposed to do? Everything seems to be going wrong."

Emma: "We'll figure out a way through this. Together."
