Her heart pounded wildly, chest heaving, dark streaks running down her cheeks, staining her freckles skin, blood stained her face—leaking from her nose, a cut above her eyebrow, staining her knees. Tess stood with her back flush against the wall, a shaky breath escaping her lips.

The girl tensed up when she saw a tall, muscular, scarred young man walk past, knife in hand. His eyes were narrowed in the dimly lit garage, his hair slicked back, it was a wonder he didn't see her or hear her. She was convinced he would've been able to hear her heart pounding with how loud it sounded in her ears.

The man suddenly stopped, glancing back over his shoulder, his brown eyes had a predatory glint to them, one that made her shudder. There was no way in hell she could fight him if he saw her...thankfully, he didn't, or if he did, he didn't show it.

He pressed the button to shut the garage door, before walking over to the white door, shutting it behind him. A shaky sigh of relief escaped the girls lips as the door shut..he was gone..for now.

Tess hesitated, before moving away from the wall, she quickly ran back the way she came, hoping the others hadn't all run off and that they were still safe in the basement. She quickly ran down the stairs, thankfully, the door hadn't been shut. Hopefully that meant that... behemoth hadn't been this way. The auburn paused in the doorway, staying quiet for a moment, listening for the sound of the chainsaw, or any sounds in the basement. After a few moments, she heard shaky breathing..at first, she was tempted to run back upstairs, but it sounded familiar. Deciding to risk it, she walked towards the noise, carefully stepping over the bones on the ground.

Tess stopped in front of the door, gently grabbing the handle, trying to turn it, though to no avail. It was locked.

"It's Tess..." her voice cracked a bit, pulling away from the handle.

After a moment of silence, the sound of the door unlatching seemed to echo through the basement. The door opened, revealing Leland, his tall frame, broad shoulders, and stupid haircut were a sight for sore eyes. He quickly pulled her into the room, pulling her body against his. Her breathing shook, burying her face against him, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Oh my god...I...I thought you.." the poor girl couldn't even bring herself to finish the sentence, her voice thick with emotion.

She hadn't seen him since...she fell asleep where they'd set up, presumably the night before, though it was hard to tell how long it'd actually been. Hell, she could've been unconscious for days for all she knew.

A dry chuckle was all he could manage, gently cradling her head against his chest for a few moments longer.

"Have you seen Jules?"

Tess pulled away a bit, nodding. Fortunately, she'd woken up in the same room as Julie, the two girls had stuck together at first, but Tess had split off to go upstairs.

"Yeah...I...don't know where she is now though..I went upstairs to see if it was clear and she ran off."

Leland's eyebrows furrowed a bit, but he was relieved to hear that she was still alive, that Tess knew of at least.

"We should go see if we can find the others, I think it left..”

Leland gently grabbed her hand, leading her out of the room. The duo carefully stepped over the bones on the floor, most of them were from the noisemakers that’d been hanging up before. Together, the two of them managed to find their way through the basement, carefully crawling over barricades, making sure to stay as quiet as possible. However, after what felt like hours, there was no sign of anyone else, and they’d found themselves back where Tess had found Leland.

Stupidly, they decided to split up..Tess ran off, grabbing another bone scrap, just to be safe, before going back upstairs. She waited, staying quiet to listen for any signs of anyone being nearby. Thankfully, the garage door was still shut, as well as the back door…which was a good sign, hopefully. Carefully, she opened the front door just enough to peek out, making sure no one was nearby. Once she was sure it was clear, she opened the door fully, stepping outside, carefully shutting it back behind her.

A loud squawking sound caught her attention, causing her breathing to hitch. There was a chicken in a cage on top of a barrel by the door. She squeaked softly, quickly kicking the barrel over, knocking the cage off of it. The bird fell silent after a moment, limp in the cage. A shaky sigh escaped her lips, hoping no one had heard the commotion.

Unfortunately, someone had heard...a tall, blonde young man came into view. At first, he seemed like another victim...there was blood on his shirt, he was obviously scarred—a long, wide scar running down the right side of his face. It wasn't until she saw the axe in his hand that she realized he was one of them. Without a second thought, Tess opened the freezer that was on the deck, climbing inside, hoping she wouldn't have to stay in there long.

The muscular blonde stepped into the wooden deck, the boards creaking under him.

"C'mon out sugar, ain't no use in hiding...I'll make it fast."

His voice sent shivers down her spine, or maybe it was just the cold in the freezer. Tess' heart pounded wildly, hoping he'd just walk away. Unfortunately, he didn't. The blonde turned towards the freezer, a terrifying little grin forming on his lips. He practically jerked the top open, roughly grabbing her arm, yanking her out of the freezer.

Tess yelped softly, stumbling a bit. Her eyes widened, her heart pounding in her chest. His grip was tight on her wrist, elicting a pained whimper from the girls lips. She squirmed, desperately trying to get out of his grip. She was tall and strong, but he was taller and stronger. The girl managed to pull out of his grip, quickly taking off down the porch steps. Her boots slammed against the ground, she ran off, towards a shack by the house. There were a few pieces of wood missing and the gap was just barely big enough for her to fit through.

Once she was inside, she quickly moved out of view. Her breathing was shaky and ragged, her cheeks flushed, sniffling. The door to the shack slamming open made her jump, tensing up, honest to God expecting one of the killers to barge in. Instead, she was met with Julie. Tess rushed over to her, hugging her tightly. Julie flinched a bit, but relaxed once she realized who it was. The girls stood there for a moment, Julie's face buried against the crook of her neck, her heart racing, breathing shaky. After a few moments, Julie pulled away a bit, gently cupping the other girls face. Her green eyes glimmered with concern, but there was no denying the painfully obvious fear beneath it. The way her hands trembled as she held Tess' face in her hands.

"I saw a way out..we need to find the others and get the hell out of here." Julie's voice cracked a bit, slightly hoarse, her makeup was smeared as well, she'd obviously been crying.

Tess could only nod, letting out a shaky sigh. She was relieved there was even a way out that they could manage to get to..but the hard part was finding everyone else, and actually getting out...

The two girls found their way through the yard, careful not to make much sound. Thankfully, Connie and Sonny had already found their way to the exit Julie had mentioned. They'd managed to go up, through the house, to the front gate. Connie had unlocked the gate, the duo now waiting for the others. There was still an issue...there was a grate in the way of the driveway, and there was definitely at least one of the psychopaths in the house now. If there wasn't barbed wire on the fence that was on both sides of the driveway, they could've just climbed over it.

Tess glanced back, noticing a thick, yellow wire that lead from the grate, out into the yard some where.

"Hide in the bushes and wait here... I'm gonna see if I can turn it off." Her eyebrows furrowed a bit, and despite her shaky voice, she was determined to get out.

Julie hesitated, but then nodded, quickly hiding in the bushes by the fence, making sure to stay crouched so she wasn't visible. Thankfully, her hair blended in fairly well...or..well enough, at least.

Tess followed the thick yellow wire, the sound of a generator rumbling got louder as she followed it. However, she hadn’t noticed the barbed wire blocking the gap until she felt a sharp pain in her leg. Almost immediately she tensed up, blood already leaking from the punctures, she bent down, trying to stay as quiet as possible, though not quiet enough. Her pained whimpers caught the attention of the brunette from earlier. He stopped, looking back in the direction of the sound, his eyes narrowing. Tess groaned softly, trying to untangle the wire, but only seeming to lodge it even further into her leg in the process, as well as cutting her hands, desperately trying to pull it out.

Somehow, the poor girl managed to rip it out, though not without further injury. Her leg was bleeding heavily now, but she did her best to ignore it, limping closer to the generator. Tess kicked the generator as hard as she could, hoping that’d make it shut off, but it didn’t. She kicked it over, and over again, finally managing to turn it off, blissfully unaware of the man standing behind her, until she felt a sudden, sharp pain in her abdomen.

A pained gasp escaped her lips, tensing up. Before she could react, a gloved hand covered her mouth, pulling her head back, exposing her neck. A muffled sob managed to escape, but she wasn't nearly loud enough for anyone else to hear.

Tess desperately squirmed in a futile attempt to get away. The knife plunged into her stomach again, and again, her muffled screams eventually stopping. Her body convulsed against the tall mans grasp a few times, before falling limp. He roughly grabbed her face, pulling her head further back, sliding the knife across her throat, sending an arc of blood splattering on the ground, soaking into her clothes. He let her limp body go, letting it hit the ground with a sickening thud. Her green eyes were already starting to cloud over, her mouth hanging open.

"'s a shame really... y'all never should've come here lookin' for that damn girl."

What do your OCs and their partners think of having kids? Do they plan on adopting, having bio kids, remaining childfree, or are they really not sure yet?

Oooh good question! Thank you!

Rae and Warren: Do want kids at some point, but want to get all their travel and exploration out of the way before they settle down. Eventually they will have two children: a daughter named April (who's a bit of a surprise) and a son named August.

Robin and Peter: Also intend to have kids, and go through it in a much more standard way: they get married, and about a year later have a daughter named Wren.

Madison and Alex: Aren't sure they want kids, would rather just be on their own with a few dogs. Any time the parental urge pops up, they'll just make a trip over to the X-Mansion and play "fun aunt and uncle" with the kids there for a couple days. Eventually they legitimately will be the fun aunt and uncle lol, with Scott and Jean's kids and any kids Madison's sisters end up having.

Ophelia and Peter Parker: Don't want kids yet, but could see having kids in a few years. The main conflict isn't with wanting kids themselves, but the logistical things like the fact that they're from different universes - what if there's some kind of DNA anomaly?

Gia and Kate: Want to remain childfree.

Jasper and Kyle: Also want to remain childfree, and would rather just be pet parents.

Kestrel and Warren Burgess: Both like kids and would in theory want children of their own someday, but there's a lot of snags that they have to think about. For one thing, they live a very dangerous lifestyle, and would hate to orphan their child if they don't come back from a dangerous mission. For another, Kestrel isn't human, so they're not sure if having bio kids is even possible for them, or what form they would take (or what that would mean for their shapeshifting; would they have to remain in a biologically female, human body for a whole nine months to carry their child?). If they did decide to have kids, they'd end up adopting, but it's equally possible that they'd just determine they live too dangerous of a lifestyle to have children.

Katherine and Ahk: Don't want kids, and that's also logistically impossible for them (unless they wanted to adopt of course).

Quinn and Billy: Definitely don't see themselves as parents, but I could see them being a safe space for outcast kids and teens. They don't know jack-shit about taking care of babies, but they do know a lot about being runaways.

Eris and Rick: Eh, no. Similar reasons to Kestrel - Eris isn't human, they live a dangerous lifestyle, even if they did want kids there would be a lot of snags. Also, can you imagine Eris with a child? They'd love that kid to the ends of the earth, and it would leave a horrific, bloody trail in their wake.

Nikoletta and Abner: Neither of them really think they'd make great parents, and they also don't really have the resources to take care of a kid in the first place. I could see them adopting an older child or teen to get them out of a bad situation, since they'd definitely both have a soft spot for that sort of thing, but they wouldn't want to take care of a baby or a small child. They could take care of a kid moderately well, but raising a kid is another story.

INFO AND HEAD CANON STUFF FOR MY ROTTMNT OCS!!!

Section 1: Akira Kimura

Akira Kimura is an Olive Ridley Sea Turtle. He has two moms and one sister (His moms being Kōki and Miu Kimura and his sister being Mina Kimura). He is gay and uses he/him pronouns!! He is 6’3, Korean and Japanese, and loves to play his drums and piano. He also likes writing, drawing, surfing/skating,,singing, crafting, training. He is the drummer in his band (The Late Night Dolls/TLND) and the backup vocals. In his private time he likes dressing up as a girl (yes he is a drag queen). Also by joining Mari-Lynn’s clan (The Nakaruma Clan) He got two special powers. He can control water and he can clone/make life (but he doesn’t know about the second power yet..)

Some head canons:

• He will totally listen to you rant about your interest, as long as you do the same with him.

• His favorite music genres are Punk rock, Jazz rock, j-pop, k-pop, hip hop metal, and grunge!

• He is a huge nerd about romance films (mostly movies like studio ghibli)

• He has a big fat crush one Donnie and tries his best to hide it (it’s sometimes obvious)

• He calls Donnie “Don-Don”. He also calls Rae “Rae-Rae”

• He loves writing songs and poems (some songs in the band are made by him).

Andddd…. That’s all I can remember for Akira. Feel free to ask him (and other characters) some questions as well!

Section 2: Mari-Lynn Nakaruma

Maria Linda Nakaruma (also known as Mari-Lynn), is a 5’9 Nekomata yōkai. He has one brother and one uncle (where r her parents? That’s a story for another day!). She is Pansexual and uses any pronouns (mainly She/He/They)! She’s also Japanese Puerto Rican and plays the guitar and is the lead vocals for her band. He also likes drawing (mostly doing graffiti art tho), skating, training, reading comic books, doing punk stuff too! Her main powers are Controlling fire, shapeshifting into different felines, and raising the dead (but she can barely control the zombie power). He is also the next leader of the Nakaruma Clan and sort of looks forward to it.

Some head canons:

• She loves watching/Reading “Ryan Collin Vs. The Alternate Universe” which is just rottmnt’s version of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World”

• Big fan of horror movies (Like human centipede but I’ve never watched it in my life)

• Her favorite music genres are: Punk rock, metal, hip hop, grunge, and j-pop

• Also has a crush on Raphael and hides it pretty well (he can’t hold it in much longer, he has to confess..)

• Her uncle helped her make her band and learn how to play music

• ML is a chill but chaotic person

Section 3: Mina Kimura

Mina Kimura is the little sister of Akira. She is a 5’3 Kemp’s Ridley Sea Turtle but doesn’t have the marks like Akira (She actually gets the marks from her mom Koki)! She uses She/Her pronouns and is AroAce! She is also Korean and Japanese as well and is the bassist and music editor in the band. She loves creating a bunch of outfits and clothes (Akira mostly gets dresses made from her), Swimming, doing makeup, skating/surfing, drawing, and painting. Her powers in the Nakaruma Clan are controlling nature and Telekinesis.

Some head canons:

• Mina provides clothes for everybody (including some yōkai’s and mutants living on the streets of New York or The Underground City.

• Mina loves watching stop motion films

• Mina is chaotic but sweet too

• Mina gives good advice to people when they need help

• She protects her older brother since he can be insecure at times

• Her favorite music genres are: Punk rock, metal, hip hop, breakcore, Indie music, and Chiptune

And that ends Mina’s section. Now for my last but certainly not least oc…

Section 4: Rae Koji

Rae Koji is an 5’9 Kitsune yōkai. Her family has been ‘missing’ ever since an incident (that I’ll explain next time). She is a lesbian and uses She/Her pronouns. She’s Japanese Chinese and the backup guitarist and vocals for her band. She likes graffiti, skating, playing games, watching movies, and reading. Her powers are controlling wind, shapeshifting, and healing. She is most of the time grumpy and silent but cares about her friends a lot.

Some head canons:

• Painting can calm her down

• She has a crush on ML and gets a bit jealous whenever ML talks abt Raph

• Her favorite music genres are: Punk rock, lofi, metal, j-pop, and hip hop

• Rae collects anime figures and action figures (she also puts them in cool poses and takes pictures of them)

• She’s really competitive while playing games with her friends

• She also has some Lou Jitsu merch in her room

He connected with Christa during her first year of residency. In "Hail Mary", Hudson becomes a surgical attending, and is once again assigned to the ER (season 1).[7][8]

Bonnie Somerville as Dr. Christa Lorenson, a mature first-year resident. She was married with a son who died of brain cancer. Her experience and her divorce inspired her to attend medical school (season 1).[7]

Melanie Chandra as Dr. Malaya Pineda, a first-year resident (seasons 1–2). She went to medical school and did her internship at Angels Memorial, and is more familiar with the ER. She is a lesbian, who was once involved with a resident when she was a medical student.

William Allen Young as Dr. Rollie Guthrie, an ER attending physician with a very nurturing style; he takes Angus under his wing in his first days in the ER. Guthrie's wife committed suicide, a death that strained his relationship with his son, a surgeon. During season 2, Guthrie is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and undergoes corrective neurological surgery to delay the onset of symptoms. Guthrie had a daughter who died from carbon monoxide poisoning while Guthrie tried to save his son from a similar death.

Harry Ford as Dr. Angus Leighton, a first-year resident. His father is on the hospital board. He feels overshadowed by that and by the achievements of his older brother, a former resident, but slowly grows in confidence. In his second year he is encouraged to transfer and become a surgical resident.

Benjamin Hollingsworth as Dr. Mario Savetti, a first-year resident. He grew up poor and sees emergency medicine as his way out. He worked as a bartender before medical school.

Luis Guzmán as Jesse Salander, known as "Mama". A senior nurse who manages the residents, Jesse is tough but caring and supportive of the students. He and Dr. Rorish have a long-term, close friendship.

Boris Kodjoe as Dr. Will Campbell, Chief of Surgery. In season 2 he is assigned as the new Chief of the combined Surgery and Emergency medicine department in order to save costs, causing strife between him and Rorish. Campbell has a disabled daughter (season 2–3; recurring in season 1).

Jillian Murray as Dr. Heather Pinkney, a surgical resident who becomes involved with Mario.(season 2; recurring in season 1). He quickly ends it when he hears about her side relationship with Dr. Campbell. She gets in further trouble when it's revealed she's providing Angus with Adderall. When confronted by Campbell, she threatens to turn their past relationship into a sexual harassment case.

Noah Gray-Cabey as Elliot Dixon, a first-year resident in the ER (season 2-3).

Emily Tyra as Noa Kean, an ER resident and former dancer. She begins a relationship with Dr. Mario Savetti (season 3; recurring season 2)

Still on the Bleach OC redesign kick! This is Rae Mori, the lieutenant of the 7th Division and the famously charming, keen-eyed leader of the 7th's investigative department. After facing numerous personal and professional setbacks in her time as a Shinigami, including making it to lieutenant once and getting demoted, Rae has worked hard to re-earn her position and her reputation within the Gotei. With that hard training, Rae also gained a stupid amount of strength that has caused her Zanpakuto to stick in a constant half-released state. On top of her professional accomplishments, Rae understands the need for recreational, morale-boosting programs for Shinigami, especially during the current war, and has sponsored and started various programs for non-military skill development and team building. She's also an outstanding musician, and often does small performances with her best friend and third seat, Scott Kings, in their downtime.
