This week is the outfit that was requested of what Alice (my HPHM OC) would wear in autumn. Since most of her autumns are spent at Hogwarts, I decided I would instead create something she would wear in the fall while she lives in New York City.
First, we start off with a blouse that has a frilled collar and a little bow tie. Could a top be more Alice? I think not. I paired it with jeans because I feel like this would be perfect for a casual stroll in New York. Next, because it is fall and, therefore, chilly, I added this purple jacket to keep my girl warm.
Alice’s French side is shown in her choice of simple black flats, as well as in the purple/pink Chanel handbag, which complements the jacket so well. Of course, one has to protect one’s head from the cold, so I decided to go with this tan cap. I could have chosen a black hat, but I felt it made the outfit too dark, so the tan cap felt perfect for adding some light to this outfit.
From the fashion asks: Fashion and night for Thea ?
-thatravenpuffwitch
Fancy: how does your character dress up for formal events?
Thea would wear something like this for formal events, like galas. The floral touches are something that she would very fond of and Thea does like dressing up.
Nighty night: what do they wear to bed?
I’m not sure that the color is right for Thea, but she’d wear this kind of style for pajamas. She’d appreciate the combination of warmth and coolness, especially during the summer.
Queen Amalthea was a beauty, and a competent one at that. (Ruling monarchs are historically male - Amalthea's only the second High Queen in all of Vesturian history.) She had to embody perfect femininity as well as keep up with the more masculine hobbies of her co-rulers. Most agree she did so with aplomb.
It's a common remark that Oscar is her spitting image.
(Human design, which I feel is just as important.)
Queen Amalthea's smile can still be seen in her many portraits around Diadem Castle.

The moment I was asked to create an outfit Alice (my HPHM OC) would wear to a masquerade ball, I knew I first had to find the right mask. When I saw the mask you currently see in the set, I knew it was perfect for her. While her style is usually more subdued, I know that for such an event as a masquerade, she would go all out. With the help of a certain Style Wizard, of course. So a mask wetted in gold, embellished with crystals, and enriched with metal applications felt like the perfect starting point for this outfit.
While the mask is gold and black, I decided to go with a red ballgown instead of a black one as I felt an all black look would feel to dark for a fun event like a masquerade. As one is supposed to hide their identity in a masquerade, I also felt red served that purpose for Alice, whose namesake is Lewis Caroll’s character. As red is usually associated with the Queen of Heart, most people would not imagine Alice wearing that colour. The red shoes and clutch were chosen for the same reason, with the clutch being a little wink at the Queen’s obsession with red roses. The ring was selected as it complimented the red of the dress and the gold of the mask.
Masquerade! Take your fill and let the spectacle astound you!
if you were taking OC doodle requests.... im offering you my new boy, Blip 👽
...I didn't realize until I was done cranking up the colors on him, but the lack of shading in his midsection makes it look like he's straight-up wearing a crop top.... I swear the intent of a shirt was there. (;;;・_・)
