Lee Corran rides into Caer Guen at the worst possible time. Absolutely the best time he could have made, out of Carycoll well before the winter sun was more than a horizon-shadow, a courier's re-mount at the Meremarch, and now here he is, a little before sunset on a sticky summer night, with a summons from Rob's sister and a deadline that would be a cursed hard ride if he was starting it fresh.

Rob's not, because when you make the promise that you will bloody your own hands in pursuit of what he supposes he must call order, when you make that promise loudly enough that they name you for it, then there are expecations to live up to in the rising days of summer. Call it luck's faint grace that he hasn't fought today, only ridden a long sweep north of the city, and returned in time to have at least eaten something hot.

And the benefits of command mean that other people get to scurry around packing his saddle-bags and tacking a horse for him. Lee helps buckle him back into armour, with the dubious-apologetic air of a man who thinks he should, somehow, have done better. Or that Rob's attempting something impossible. Or - no. Corran. Murray's little brother. He knows Rob can do it, and knows enough about why to be uneasy.

This time of year, out here, it never gets all the way to full dark. Close as makes little odds, for a few hours in the middle, but there's enough light from a waning half-moon to follow the road. And enough light, by the time he reaches Caeruith, that staying on the road isn't taunting the un-laid ghosts.

The moor's tending wide, lately; it's full day, by the time he reaches the Meremarch, and the kind offices of a stablemaster forewarned he would be coming back this way in a hurry. They shoo him out of the way while they change his tack over, feed him small beer and hot porridge, and see him out onto the road again after really very little delay.

So then there's just the long road into winter, the fair morning turned to a drizzle that isn't sure if it wants to be rain or snow. At least the banked road's fairly clear. Throwing his good winter cloak around his shoulders will have to be good enough; he doesn't think he can afford the time to stop.

Mercy, but this is a misery he knows in his bones. Steady trot; this is a courier mount, can do this all day, and never mind what would be best for him. No real way to know - the sun's still rising the the sky, that's all - how much time he has. Or how much longer the road will be. It depends, greatly, on whether the king wants him here. If the king knows he's coming; Rosie didn't mention. Ignore the nagging pull to the left, west of the road, the old and inadvertent magic telling him that way is home; there's nothing there now but mud and rot and remembered misery. Ignore the burning ache. Ignore the cold and damp. Mile after grim mile up the rutted mud of the tithe road to answer his king's call to council, and maybe - if his sister's right, and she usually is - the call to war.

Sims 2 Clothes TF, AF, EF

For today, I have a whopping 50 recolors of @kooli-sims SkirtBoatLoafers for teen to elder using @deedee-sims teen and elder meshes. I also converted Kooli's and DeeDee's meshes (credit to @webluepeace for converting the original) to Sally Plump, a lovely bodyshape by @beatricecrumplebottom . Pictures (11 of them) and info beneath the cut. Download Links Up here in case tumblr deletes the blog and I'm inactive. So, 10 of the pictures show socks but that's only for Sally Plump. I tried to add socks to the ea body but bodyshop kept throwing errors. So know that if you download the EA body, you get outfits without socks. Here is the Ea body modeling FGClover.

The rest will be modeled by the SallyPlump bodyshape . However, know that the same outfits are also on the EA body-41 recolors by me and the nine (not pictured here) original 4t2 colors by WeBluePeace. SallyPlump has an additional ten colors by Kooli-sims also not picture here.

First is five random Scottish clan tartans in five varieties.

Next is a plantskirt in a small variety of colors.

I also had one of the models jump rope and discovered an issue.

There's also clipping (Which you can see with the sitting sims in the first picture) do to the size of SallyPlump but that's part of the charm of playing with bigger bodyshapes in the Sims 2.

Now I can't sleep, i cannot stop thinking about Dorian and the Thirteen.

What are your headcannons about Dorian and the Thirteen interacting? How do you think he won them over?

For me, some people are more solidified but others are in limbo:

1. MANON. She LOOOOOVES him (even though she doesn't know it), and I'm pretty sure they both got teasing looks from the others (that Manon quickly got grumpy over/Dorian grinning back). They are forever mates and will get married and make beautiful babies and IDGAF what anyone says❤.

2. Asterin likes Dorian. HUGELY overprotective of Manon (duh! Like the rest of them). But she grew to like him (shown by her growling at Bronwyn when she grossly suggested that the thirteen were sharing Dorian sexually, and her trusting Dorian with Nyrene when he went to the Ferian Gap). His interactions with Manon probably reminded Asterin of her and her hunter 🥲.

3. Sorrel definitely grew to respect him (and maybe even like him) because after Dorian bested her at fighting ( which I am still convinced that she let him win/went easy on him), Sorrel gifted him with a knife 🥺

4. Vesta shamelessly flirted with him, so she had a crush on him (as we all do 😉). Manon was giving Vesta a stank face when she did flirt even though Manon said "she didn't know what the King of Adarlan was to her". I'm pretty sure she did that to get Manon to admit her feelings as part of a plot by the rest of the Thirteen😏.

5. Faline. I'm not sure....her and Fallon were massive pranksters so I'm pretty sure she pranked Dorian as an initiation. But this is speculative. 👀

7. Edda. She and Briar kept to themselves, so I'm not sure...🤔

9. Thea. Her and Kaya were in LOOOVE therefore, they (and Asterin and maybe someone else (you'd never know who else was keeping secrets from Manon)) could appreciate that Dorian loved Manon. So they didn't hate him, obvi. 😌

11. Lin. She barely tolerated Dorian. She was looking like she wanted to examine his insides.....😨

12. Ghislaine. She and Dorian probably bonded over BOOKS. They probably talked the most (excluding Manon). Dorian was vastly magically talented, and Ghislaine studied University in Terassen for 12 years with a specialisation in magic, so Dorian satisfied Ghislaine's curiosity and Ghislaine educated and gave guidance to Dorian in his training. Again, this is speculative 📚

13. Imogen. She kept to herself. She's probably really protective over the entire group (manon especially) but I don't think her and Dorian really interacted....😶

What do you guys think? Please share! I don't want to feel alone in my thinking, since there is no Manorian book anytime soon 😭
