Fluff Alphabet meme...... too long for one ask bcs i dont like long posts so here in a readmore now..... HERE WE GO. I’m gonna mostly stick with canon verses here tho

Almari and Seth

Inspiration- Did their s/o change them somehow, or the other way around? Like trying out new things or helped them overcome personal problems?

Seth changed Almari as much as he changed him. Where Almari helped ground Seth, help keep him wild but also tame him; Seth helped Almari feel love, feel appreciated, and that he’s more than what he was. More than just a bastard, or a half-bred mess.

Nicknames - What do they call their s/o?

Almari is embarrassed about using pet names! The most common thing he would call Seth is either his nickname (Seth), or Love.His nicknames are sickeningly sweet. Love, darling, sweetheart, dear. Very classic, very sweet.

On Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?

When he’s in love, everyone knows. He is in love with being in love.Stealing glances across the room at his lover, always touching when they’re beside each other. He’ll happily talk about his lover for hours on end, a never ending fountain of adoration and praise.

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Almari is very classic, almost cliche with his romantic gestures! Most of what his idea of romance is has come from novels, which aren’t known for being very creative.

Thrill - Do they need to try out new things to spice out your relationship? Or do they prefer a certain routine?

Almari prefers routine, his career and life have been hectic and unpredictable enough; not to mention the early stages of their relationship. Having something constant, an anchor, is a blessing to him. He loves their rituals and routines.

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Whenever Seth finds a *particularly* favorite orchestrion roll, Almari will *always* go find a copy of it somewhere, or order one into the city. Just in case it gets damaged, then he has an immediate backup!

XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

INCREDIBLY affectionate. Almari is what the kids call “affection starved” and loves showering Seth with affection, kisses, wrapping his arms around him. Anything that lets him be physically close as possible, he’s a huge fan of.

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Poorly! Most of the time when they’re separated it’s because Almari is in the field, so he can’t let it show or get to him like he could when he’s alone. He gets incredibly mopey, just down in the dumps and a man of few words. He’ll hum the songs he hears Seth sing and play at the manor, fidget with his wedding ring.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

Considering he’s already killed ONE person after a drawn out rescue mission for Seth, there is nothing he wouldn’t do for him. To Almari, many things are replaceable, but his relationship with people is not. He’d do anything for Seth, except anything to break his own family’s heart.

Arleaux and Felix

Comfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

When Arleaux needs comforting, most likely because of a depressive episode, Felix is unsure of the best way to help out. He knows from personal experience that what helps one time might not help the next time. He has his go-to’s though, just being close, trying to block out the rest of the world since that’s a common stressor and aggrivator. Places his hands on the side of Arleaux’s face and just soothes him with gentle words and a soft voice.

Honesty - Do they have secrets they hide from their s/o? Or do they share everything?

I know this is fluff, but Felix would only keep one secret from Arleaux, and that’s how severely his own depression affected him, and how deep his own fears ran with regards to being found out as a “heretic”. There’s things he’s seen that he would rather repress so deeply that he doesn’t even share them with Arleaux.

PDA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

Felix…. isn’t the first to state their relationship, but he’s def the first to do some PDA. Saying he’s in a relationship unprovoked feels weird, but he has no trouble kissing his husband in the middle of a public, busy area infront of onlookers.

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Lowkey romantic! He LOVES little sappy moments like stargazing together, holding hands while they go out to the shops. But he’s very creative with what he does though! He plotted out an entire constellation for Arleaux, dedicated to his bravery and how he’s the protector of those who need it most. So that’s his grandest, most romantic gesture to date.

Understanding - How good do they know their partner? Are they empathetic?

He does, and he doesnt. He can empathize with many of Arleaux’s plights, but at the same time he can’t imagine them. They have similar basis, but the individual intricacies are so vast and different that he’s accepted he won’t ever entirely understand Arleaux, but that’s alright.

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Felix has full body freckles, and when they lie in bed and cuddle, Arleaux likes to connect them into shapes and ‘constellations’ with his fingertip, and Felix always looks for the same shapes in the sky at night because they were dreamed up by Arleaux, and therefore they’re special to him.

XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

In private, yes. In public, that depends on the situation. Felix doesn’t enjoy having eyes on them, but anything subtle is fair game. He always holds Arleaux’s hand when they’re out and virtually never lets it go, stealing kisses when he can. He prefers sneaking into public yet private places for proper displays of affection.

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

He certainly mopes, but for the longest time he would refuse to even leave the apartment when Arleaux was gone, let alone be able to deal with missing him over his trauma related anxiety. He mostly goes to visit Orphiel when he’s in Ishgard, or goes to hang out with Seth at the manse. Just try to keep busy with something else, but something similar.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

Very great lengths. Already he’s stood up and cut off any family he had to defend their relationship and his right to choose who he loves, and he would do it all over again in a heartbeat, despite the pain it caused him to have to give up hope for compromise. Arleaux is the one thing that makes him happy in his world, and he couldn’t give him up for anything. Any job opportunity, any sense of community he might have, he’d give it all up to be with him.

Ailín and Alden

Dreams - How do they picture their future with their s/o?

He doesn’t know, to be truthful. He never saw himself sharing his own future with someone, let alone twining their futures the way they have. He’d like to have something similar to what they have now, the freedom they have, their little cottage, their little rituals. If they could live like they do now forever, he would be happy.

Kiss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. He’s never kissed anyone in his life before Ailin came along, he’s never had a relationship ever! So while he improves in time, the first kiss was definitely far from perfect. It was most likely something very quiet, probably unexpected since he would just buck up the courage and go for it after being sure Ailin was into him in “that way”.

Marriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Again, he’s not sure. Marriage is something super foreign to him, and he wouldn’t really even remember it existed unless someone reminded him to be honest. He doesn’t quite see the point in a ceremony, why not just stay together and have that be enough? If Ailin wanted that, or wanted something more, then he would he open to it, but it’s not something he’d bring up!

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Romance is something Alden is quite unsure of. It’s something that he’s not familiar with, but isn’t instinctively without. He is so far removed from the realm of cliches due to this however! He loves bringing back little trinkets from his travels for Ailin, wrapped and presented in a loving fashion every time. Most of what he can give Ailin is his time, spending it together in the garden, or loitering around the cabin cuddling. Sometimes the gifts he has are unconventional, new seedlings for the garden, or new books, pastries from a different city.

Value - How important is the relationship to them? What is it’s worth in comparison to other things in their life?

This is a hard one! It’s incredibly important to him, Ailin is someone that he couldn’t imagine spending his life without. He holds their relationship in the same regard though as just “yeah this is how things are.’ It makes him feel happy, and dare I say complete, and he would never want to give it up. But he’s a very simple man with simple desires, and ranks most of his daily joys together, since they all tie together and allow the others to exist. Like it’s all co-dependent. So the value of the relationship compared to other things is hard to place.

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Sometimes when the dogs are sleeping in the bed with Ailin and there’s no room for Alden, he’ll try to fit in there somewhere, but if they look too comfortable he’ll go sleep somewhere else. He’s a huge softie for all 3 f them.

XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

Alden is very unsure of his affection. He enjoys sharing it, but in quietly intimate ways. Just having physical contact together, holding hands, being in the same spaces, that’s intimacy and affection to him. Something like kissing isn’t required for all that, but it’s def part of the package too.

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Usually when he’s missing Ailin, it’s because he’s off on some hunting trip to get that bread $$. He knows he’s safe, he has Flynn to guard him, but sometimes Alden gets anxious about him and gets Adara to go check up on him, it’ll bring him some peace of mind. When he’s missing Ailin he just throws himself into the task at hand, knowing the sooner it’s done the sooner he can go home.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

Depending? He’d do many things for Ailin, including the act of having to kill his own brother who has been a malicious, horrible presence in their lives. And that’s about the toughest thing he could imagine doing, so that says a lot about how far he’s willing to go.

Ezra and Leo

Beauty - What do they admire about their s/o? What do they think is beautiful about them?

His inner strength. Ezra always seems like someone who is strong and fiery and able to take a beating and still stand back up and go right back again. Leo admires that greatly and finds it quite a beautiful characteristic. From a physical standpoint, he just finds Ezra quite pleasing in general, he couldn’t pick a favorite physical thing, he’s attracted to the fire and wit and intelligence of Ezra.

Gratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Oh I’m sure he’s very aware of what Ezra does for him, but he’s unsure if bringing it up is the right thing to do. So he’ll quietly show his appreciation in more subtle ways than coming out and making it clear what he’s doing is because of what Ezra did for him, in a roundabout way but with enough link that Ezra can figure it out. How infuriating.

Jealousy - Do they get jealous easily? How do they deal with it?

Very! Ezra is his and seeing others flirting with him gets his blood boiling. Nothing can stop him from striding over and placing himself besides Ezra and engaging in conversation with them, dominating the discussion and trying to make it clear that he’s the one with the power in this situation, and they don’t stand a chance.

Quirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

Leo is VERY good at reading people, figuring out what they’re hiding, their tells and clues that there’s more to be read than what’s on the surface. Ezra can front all he wants, Leo knows his little cues and tells and can tell when something is wrong, or upsetting him.

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

Leo is a classic romantic once they’re in a relationship proper. They had a rather.... unconventional start to their relationship, but once they can explore and revel in it, then that changes. Leo is unsure of how to love, but manifests that in gifts and rather cliche’d romantic gestures. Leaving a bottle of wine and a flower on Ezra’s desk for him later, a little note tucked into the cover of a book.

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Early in their relationship, back when they were in denial of sorts, Leo would purposefully order an extra something, or something he doesn’t like. Either food, or a book. And then he’d show up, telling Ezra they messed up his order, why doesn’t he just take it, he has no need for this.

XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

Not... entirely? He feels almost uncomfortable with affection for a while, like being loved and showing affection is something that’s wrong or forbidden. It takes a lot of coaxing to get him more comfortable with it, but if Ezra starts something, then he’s quite likely to get enveloped in it, being so affection starved as he is.

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

Honestly he probably just sequesters himself somewhere, spends all his time in solitude and just keeping busy, or loitering around, exploring maybe. The company they keep aren’t exactly fond of him per se, and he doesn’t have many people he could consider a friend, so he just keeps to himself and waits.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

Incredibly so. Leo sees himself as someone at rock bottom with nowhere to go but up, and is in search of that fabled second chance to do right. So being at the bottom, he would do anything for Ezra’s sake. He’d sacrifice himself for Ezra’s reputation. Let him deliver the bad news, or argue for something, they can’t hate him more than they already do.

Lysander and Orphiel

Activities - What do they like to do with their s/o? How do they spend their free time with them?

Anything. They share quite a few similar interests, be it exploring their respective magic abilities, or trying out new concepts of magic, or be it just going out for a stroll on the town and bring dragged down every alleyway to see if there’s anything interesting down there. Anything could be deemed enjoyable if they did it together, to Lys.

Equal - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

I’d say they’re quite equal? Unless you mean... Lys is the more extrovert of the two though, probably pushing Orphiel out of his comfort zone more and more since they’ve met. They’re a good influence on the other, equal measures of push and pull.

Love Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

Unexpectedly! Lys had been pining for a good solid ten years minimum by the time they were reunited, and then had to wait longer due to Orphy’s amnesia and health condition. It would be something spontaneous, something he couldn’t keep inside anymore, and it would just explode out. Just his feelings, his heart blurting out in a pure and raw way, then flustered when he realizes all that he just said, and even though he’s quite sure it’s mutual, it’s still embarrassing to lose hold on your own emotions like that.

Romance - How romantic are they? What would they do to make their s/o happy? Cliché or rather creative?

The sappiest romantic there is. Lys is someone who reads old school courtship romance novels and blushes because he wishes that were him, so his courtship and romantic gestures are quite cliched, but overflowing with emotion, and always paired with that look of nervousness like a schoolboy with his first crush all over again.

Support - Are they helping their s/o achieve their goals? Do they believe in them?

Lys believes in Orphy in EVERYTHING he puts his mind to. He sees Orphy as someone of almost limitless potential, and loves seeing him succeed. Sometimes he feels limited in what he can do to assist, seeing how different their own magic styles are, and learning styles in general, sometimes whatever Orphy’s working on is out of his own abilities, but he’ll always be there for support. Through thick and thin.

Wild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

Lys enjoys wearing one of Orphy’s hair ribbons, or collar pins, anything small that’s his. It makes him feel closer to Orphy, and like he can channel some of that bravery and strength from him. He won’t take credit for anything, saying he always did it with some help, because he counts Orphy as helping him finish even if it’s just because he had something of Orphy’s on him.

XOXO - Are they very affectionate? Do they love to kiss and cuddle?

YES. He ADORES affection. Always sliding his hand into Orphy’s, giving him a kiss before parting ways, he loves casual intimacy. Just normalizing little things like kisses when they see each other, things like that.

Yearning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

He would be on the melancholy side of things, probably also throw himself into his work. Just bury himself in papers and scrolls and tomes and zone out entirely. If he doesn’t pay attention to the time, then it’ll pass faster. It’s probably not uncommon for all nighters and forgetting to eat.

Zeal - Are they willing to go to great lengths for the relationship? If so, what kind of?

Lys left his home and moved across the continent to Sharlayan with Orphy, he faced down a voidsent with him, he travelled back to the other side of the continent for a dangerous exploratory mission that lasted months. And that’s just the things he HAS done already. Something like murder, or giving up the found family he has would be a hard line though, I’m not sure how he would handle it tbh.
