It’s that time of the year again. So, here is your mandatory LBAF FAQ Post. 

1. When are we starting and what’s the posting schedule?

The first chapter will be posted on Friday the 15th. From there onwards, I’ll follow the Tuesday/Friday schedule for biweekly updates. All chapters will be posted around midnight-ish or before (IST).

2. How many chapters and what are the POVs?

LBAF VI has 23 chapters including a prologue, interlude, and epilogue. The POVs will be Next Gen gang (Iris, Joan, Cami, Atlas, Arthur, Lance, and Kincaid) and the LB family (Alec, Magnus, Rafael and Max). In addition, you will have a special pov for the prologue, interlude and epilogue chapters.

3. How long will the chapters be?

Only Lucifer knows. But as usual, each chapter will have 4 POVs. 

4. What’s the timeline right now?

LBAF VI picks up immediately after the epilogue of LBAF IV, meaning after Cami and Theia’s parabatai ceremony and Kincaid joining the Idris Patrol. 

5. Should I read it as you update or binge it?

The main plot is always fast paced and the events happen in the span of two months. So, for the sake of avoiding spoilers (as there will be many), I would recommend you to read it as I update it. But if you prefer to binge, then I’d recommend blocking the ‘lbaf’ tag and practicing self-control hehe.

6. Is someone going to die?

Duh.

7. How angsty will it be?

It’s pretty angsty as LBAF usually tends to be. Each LBAF has its own kind of angst. LBAF 2 was grief and loss. LBAF 4 was torture and trauma. LBAF 6 will be heartbreak and betrayal. 

8. Any trigger warnings I need to be mindful of?

There will be some chapters that deal with difficult themes and topics. I usually include any important trigger warnings as ‘content warnings’ in my notes section in the beginning of the fic. Please read them and prioritise your mental health! 

9. When will this pain end, omg?

I’m glad you asked. The LBAF series will come to an end after I wrap up this main plot. The main plot is split into two parts - LBAF 6 and 7. We’ll be going on a break after LBAF 6 - perhaps visit the rwrb au or something else. We’ll be back again with LBAF 7 (continuation of main plot) and then we’ll wrap up the entire series with LBAF 8 (our final collection of short stories). And then we say goodbye to the LBAF world. 

10. Am I ready for this?
