Dsmp AU where Dream is just 3 kids (gods) in a trench coat.

DreamXD is the head, the defacto leader of their little group, and decides most of what “Dream”’s personality or goals are like. He’s the oldest of the three and will claim he’s also the smartest. He tends to flip flop on taking this whole “Dream” thing seriously or just deciding to fuck around.

Drista is the arms. She’s the first to point out when there going off script or out of character but also the first one to incite all the chaos. As the most gremlin child of them all, she’s also the youngest, and has occasionally taken over as the head.

NotDream123 is the legs. They are the middle child, and have only ever taken over as the head a couple of times. He tends to be the mediator between the two, and often follows along one fo the others’ plans. As a result, she’s never formed a “real” personality and now greatly regrets it. He is also, unfortunately, the most committed to the bit.

During the disc finale, each time “Dream” died one of the kids died in his place. And everytime it happened Dream would get shorter by 2 feet as a result. The first one was XD, the second one was Drista. ND123 ends up having to build extra long stilts and fake glove hands to keep up appearances. It is very scuffed.

After dying and losing their mortal form, XD and Drista left to do their own thing, leaving ND123 alone and in charge of “Dream”. He is decidedly pissed.

Ranboo is the only one who knows Dream is just three kids in a trench coat. And that’s because he’s often mistaken as four kids in a trench coat and figured it out. The kids bribed Ranboo into silence with silk touch hands.

Schlatt also knew. He found out by seeing what was under Dream’s cloak, and decided he was too drunk to deal with this.

Everyone else is distressingly oblivious to Dream’s whole deal.

During the prison arc, ND123 accidentally kills Tommy with her fake hands. Which the other two found hilarious.

When Q comes in to torture “Dream”, he picks Dream up and ND123 comes tumbling out of the clothing in a thud.

ND123 calls Ranboo for help. Ranboo claims custody over ND123 and wins the court case breaks them out.

ND123 is then dropped off at Techno’s place as an impromptu babysitter. They give him a juice box.

ND123 proceeds to beg Ranboo for help in piloting the “Dream” body/character. “Dream” is now 2 feet taller than he was before, and everyone on the server thinks he’s a shapeshifter.

Techno realizes he almost got bested by three kids in a trench coat.

XD originally wanted to name their persona “Nightmare”. It was vetoed for being too edgy.

XD, Drista, and ND123 had a three day planning session trying to flesh out “Dream” and their response to Wilbur’s L’Manberg revolution. XD tends to go off script when people piss him off tho.

All three are scarily competent fighters, together as Dream or separate as their own person.

Tom Simmons. He’s apparently some guy Dream looked up in a phone book and invited to the SMP because Dream thought it’d be funny.

He has an astounding resemblance to Tommy Innit from the way he speaks and his humor down to the way he dresses. Even so, Tommy seems to think Tom is Dream in disguise.

“That’s a little speciesist, don’t you think? Just because I’m a dreamon hybrid and wear green doesn’t mean I’m the same guy.”

anyway people who think that c!dream doesn't care about c!george goes beyond my comprehension like the mental gymnastics you have to go through to say that are insane...

nevermind the fact that dream wouldn't be interested in writing a character that's apathetic to george's, and may i remind everyone of notdream123's lore with "i don't like george. me tom simons not dream because dream would never say that". but it also translates into lore so hard. the momentarily freeze whenever someone speaks his name. the defensiveness behind his voice. his care for c!george is so clear to the entire server more often than not his enemies use his name to rile c!dream up.

if you don't think c!dream is capable of caring for c!george, yes, even after everything, in his most fucked up ways, you're saying c!dream isn't capable of feeling at all. and at that point? honestly at that point i don't think you should even be compelled to make any comment on c!dream's lore. not if your interpretation is so far beyond canon it has made it's way around the sun and back. perhaps grow a little maturity before trying to make sense of an argument arc that clearly goes over your head

I think this is going to be my definitive C!Dream post-prison design, I had a doodle of how he looked like before pandora but I lost it lmao. Don't pay attention to the placements of the scars and wounds because I put them there randomly so in future drawings they might be changed. Also my C!Dream wears green eyeshadow because he thinks it will make him look intimidating and badass without the mask (C!Punz helps him applying it).

My headcanon is that C!Dream along with other Dream related characters like Mexican Dream, Mamacita, NotDream123, Cornelius, etc. are all from the same species. Silly little creatures if you will.

c!Dream was in prison plot-limbo for so, SO many arcs on the server that I kind of hope he at least gets to be filled in on some of the stuff that happened

because I feel like after the escape we’ve never really seen the ramifications of just how much he missed

Like does c!Dream know about Sam Nook? He now knows about Slimecicle, that’s for sure, but how did he even find out about Slime in the first place?

Does he even know who Boomer is? Is Boomer still trying to meet him?

What would c!Dream think about the Beets Arc, of Tubbo and Sam and Foolish becoming completely enamored with the growth of beets and using the space from several torn-down buildings to construct a mile-long empire of vegetable?

What would he think about fucking L’SANDBURG?

Or the fact that Ranboo got roped into an almost-war with Quackity and Las Nevadas over a bunch of cookies until Tubbo got hired as a fast food worker?

Hell, does c!Dream even know about PROJECT DREAMCATCHER? like has anybody ever told him Tubbo managed to construct literal nukes as a deterrent against him?

He’s never met Quackity’s not-son/Foolish’s husband, he’s never met NotDream123, he’s never met Jesus Wick and Big Cock,

and he would probably be very surprised to see that Foolish has his head and can wear it like a disguise to engage in psychological warfare, a gift courtesy of the server god himself

I just realized I never posted all of my c!Dream variants in one place??? I made these back in October then posted each one separately, but they’re all part of a collection.

Row 1: c!Dream (early canon, main, post-prison)

Row 2: Mamacita, Drista, NotDream123

Row 3: Francis, DreamXD, Cornelius

Row 4: Mexican Dream, Ranbob, Hubert

Headcanons under the cut:

I like the theory that Cornelius and Francis are both DreamXD. Cornelius is DreamXD before ascending to godhood, and Francis is just DreamXD fucking around in c!Dream’s skin (and c!Connor know this)

Before the SMP, c!Dream sold his skin to DreamXD in exchange for… something. He doesn’t remember doing this though. That’s why DreamXD looks like c!Dream. That’s also why c!Dream has void underneath his hair.

Mamacita, DreamXD, and c!Dream are the only True Dreamons left since all the others were either hunted down (Overworld) or simply went extinct (The End).

c!Ranboo is a dreamon-endermen hybrid originating from The End. He’s not a Dream variant though, so I didn’t include him. Although… even though dreamon halos are supposed to be completely unique, Ranbob has the exact same halo as Ranboo.

NotDream123 (aka Tom Simmons) and Hubert the Butler are just regular dreamon hybrids (in the same way most players are some sort of mob hybrid) with no connection to c!Dream or DreamXD. They’re just two guys.

MD is not a dreamon. He just adopted Mamacita’s culture.

Technically! c!Drista is not a dreamon. In my own headcanon, she’s actually the entity personification of the entire Dream SMP that took on the appearance of the SMP’s owner, c!Dream, and the local deity, XD.
