Enjoy these headcanons on ways the starting four characters worship [Name] while I debate posting the next chapter tonight or tomorrow night.

Aether
To be honest, Aether has a bit of a superiority complex.
He's your first vessel, the only vessel you've never left behind, your favorite vessel to talk through, any important conversations are done through him, and he takes all of those details to heart with the idea that even though he's lost his twin, he's gained a god who will assist him in every step along the way while he's looking.
His favorite way to worship and thank you for your help is to place himself at the forefront of every conversation about you.
He's gained respect from the other vessels as your first vessel and many respect him as your voice piece, speaking on your behalf with everything, from what foods you would favor based off of what you cook most often to what your temples should be designed as based off of which buildings you ooh and aah at the most.
He views himself as an extension of you and your will, and nothing in Teyvat could convince him that he is not the manifestation of what you believe.
Amber
Amber has always felt most at home in the sky, gliding being one of her best and most respected skills.
As the gliding champion on Mondstadt, there really was no one better than her to teach Aether how to glide, and by extension, you.
Amber feels most connected to you when she's gliding through the air, remembering the feeling of your voice surrounding the world around her rather than emanating from the Traveler.
Gilding reminds her of that slight gasp and noise of joy she hears when enjoying the sky.
Reminds her of your concern in that treasure thief's hideout when she jumped across that expanse, she knew there was some way to make it across but your concern simply enforced that she had to try.
Honestly, Amber feels a bit guilty for not recognizing you when you first met, the whispers in the wind weren't her biggest priority until she focused on teaching the Traveler everything she knew about gliding and words in the air weren't exactly normal, however now that she knows, she's thankful you trusted her to teach your vessel.
She's also thankful that because of you allowing her to teach you, she's getting requests from citizens of Mondstadt to help them with their gliding license. You've given her the chance to do more of something she loves and has put the life of your vessels in her hands, she can never thank you enough.
Kaeya
His methods of appreciation might be a bit outlandish compared to the others.
He's seen first hand the response that using The Guide's title garners and he's rather proud of the fact that as a vessel, he can use it freely.
He feels a little bit of shame for the amount of things he's put the Traveler and therefore, The Guide, through, but he doesn't feel too bad about it. He was only doing his job after all.
Mondstadt as a country isn't very religious and Kaeya is no exception. His worship for [Name] is directly tied to how much amusement and strength they give him and each adventure, travel and battle causes him to respect this being just a bit more.
Kaeya also knows better than to blame The Guide for his mistakes in life and finds it rather refreshing how willing The Guide is to admit when something going wrong is their fault.
Whispers of 'sorry' and 'that must have hurt' or even 'I promise I'll make it up to you' always soothes any injuries better than food or proper healing and Kaeya takes it as a bit of a compliment how much a god apologizes to him.
Kaeya almost doesn't see The Guide as being a god, but no one else could have that kind of power. The Guide is kinder than any god he could think of and he only hopes they never change.
Lisa
As someone with a much more in place job than most other Knights of Favonius, she can't exactly go out to gather gifts or offerings unless you personally pull her outside but either way is fine with her.
Lisa builds up her own reputation by writing stories and religious texts of you, occasionally interviewing other vessels and especially Aether when he's in town, honestly he never gets a break with how many people ask him about [Name].
Her writings are often for the eyes of the Knights of Favonius only, worrying that if she leans them, people will never give them back and goodness knows how much Lisa cares for her books.
Speaking of which, any chance she has to have you and Aether in the Library, she'll take. Showcasing how nicely she takes care of the Library and showing off her favorite books.
Any books that you show any appreciation for will promptly be taken off the shelves and kept for your eyes only, she would rather be fired from her position than let you down by not having your favorite book and Jean knows better than to fire a vessel from her ranks.
One day, Lisa will show all Mondstadt what she's written for you but only once she's certain they understand how well it must be taken care of.
AYYY! PAIMON BECAUSE NO ONE WRITES PAIMON! Okay, okay, actual writing, let's do this.
Bonus, Paimon!
Paimon often gets glossed over in regards to you, by everyone honestly, but they seem to forget a key detail, Paimon never leaves.
She's always travelling with your vessels and while she boasts quite a lot, she'll keep the knowledge she has of you private.
She's there every time you pause the game, listening to everything from speaking to other people to when you leave the device online while sleeping.
She knows your name, she knows your favorite foods, she knows your favorite songs.
Aether might consider himself your mouth piece but Paimon knows more about you than any vessel could dream of, and she has no problem making others aware of that if they threaten her.
Aether might speak for you, but Paimon knows you, even if she doesn't tell your followers everything.
She'll make sure she's heard by you one day, one day you'll realize that if any of your followers truly care, it's the devoted and hard working Paimon.

Alright, I've been searching through Tory's tag and I haven't found one thing on her little interactions with Chozen in 5×2 and I wanna know why now.
From all of the senseis and adults in this show, Chozen is the one who is most similar to Tory (both storyline and personality wise).
Having father figures who weren't their actual dads teach them karate in bad ways for the wrong reasons (and telling them they couldn't be "soft" because that would make them weak)?
Being very agressive at first and fighting a LaRusso until they have serious injuries and trauma?
Feeling guilty about the harm they've caused and getting in a terrible place mentally because of the external consequences (aka, not because of what happened to them but of what happened because of them all around)?
Having said LaRusso's first instinct when they see them again be to fight them but them not even thinking about fighting?
Feeling honorless because of everything that has happened because even though the world doesn't see them too differently, they see themselves in a terrible way now and just can't forget about what made them start feeling like that?
Wanting to make things right but just not knowing how to, so they just pretend like everything is fine until it is absolutely imperative that they act on a situation involving teaming up with their former karate-rival, both being LaRussos?
Being the only people in the entire saga to actively use "swords" (Chozen used sais, but you get it)?
Having a terrible uncle/aunt who thought they're not good enough?
Wanting (and actively being, even though one more than the other) a spy in Cobra Kai for other senseis so they could tear Silver and his plans for expansions down from inside?
Going through a hard path because of everything that has happened to them and having one special person (aka love interest) be the one to pull them up and support them enough to give them hope for a better future?
Yup, that all fits them both. And there's so much more, too!
Chozen is the balance between Daniel and Johnny, between extreme defense and offense, and that would be the better path for Tory to take. She wouldn't be hung up on the fact that Johnny used to be her sensei in Cobra Kai and still uses methods entirely too similar to the ones of her former dojo for her to be comfortable without remembering her time there, and she wouldn't give up on mastering her defense because of Chozen's approach to it. Plus, he was the one to give her actually good advice that I'm sure was the reason why she decided to finally give in and team up with Kreese as an undercover spy in Cobra Kai.
And Chozen's never had children but he probably wants to and I would love for him to be the father figure Tory needs and have them creating a father/daugther bond because I can see her learning from him and also relating a lot to his stories from the 80s and 90s.
All I'm saying is, Chozen was a better sensei to Tory in two scenes than Silver, Kim and Kreese were in the entirety of the last 3 seasons (maybe even Johnny, given they have had exactly one scene together in the whole show), and he would be the one to understand what she has gone through and still is going through better than anybody else. He really is the sensei she deserves and the one who could teach her more than all the other ones could If they tried teaming up for the task.
Here's to him being her sensei (and maybe her calling him "sensei Joe" and him still calling her "champion" instead of her name in their first scene together, and everybody being like "they've met before???") in s6!

I knew the musical already but the cd copies of Notre Dame de Paris I have were given to me by my human sciences teacher during high school so everytime I listen to even just a couple songs in passing I always end up thinking about him

↳ CLASS 1-A HC’S TO MAKE YOU SMILE (hopefully)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: i’ve been on class-1a brainrot (yes, all of them. collectively) for SO LONG and honestly? I love it here. romance is all good and dandy but FRIENDSHIP? good shit.
on that note, these pairings are all platonic! just little things i like about their dynamics or things i think they’d do when they hang out :) feel free to see them as romantic though, not like i can stop you :P
p.s sorry for dipping??? for like months???
Tumblr media
genre: fluff
warnings: minor situational angst
Tumblr media Tumblr media
→ Denki & Izuku
❑ These two boys are the other’s hype-man, totally. Kaminari absolutely does not mind sitting through Izuku’s ravings about the fluctuating hero rankings, or even just the times where Izuku mutters on and on.
❑ Kaminari’s been ignored enough times to know that it doesn’t feel good at all to want to talk to someone and for them to sheepishly tell you they’d long since stopped listening. Izuku does the same for Denki, no question. Sometimes Denki starts talking, and he doesn’t really...stop.
❑ But Izuku finds it’s nice to hang out with the boy, and he doesn’t mind not contributing to the conversation when Denki looks so elated to see someone listening for once.
❑ While I will forever be the number one advocate for Bakugou tutoring Denki and finding different studying strategies that work for Denki instead of giving up on him, I think Izuku’s just as likely to do that for kami!
❑ It’s a frustrating first session, but once Izuku’s brian suggests that Kami might just need another method of studying, he takes that idea and runs with it.
❑ The next week, kami goes to Izuku’s room a little afraid of the freckled boy rejecting him- but to his surprise, Izuku presents him with all types of new study methods, including colored index cards and a home-made sentence reader that covered the entire page except for one line at a time.
❑ (yes, he did tear up for a second.)
❑ They end up going through that week's chapter in half the time it usually took Denki to get a subject, and they got to play video games afterward!
Tumblr media
→ Ochako & Katsuki
❑ While I don't think the boys in 1-A look down on the girls in the sense of "but they're girls so they are weaker :(" all that much- Katsuki was the first and only one really to make that clear. He didn't see her as something or someone to pity. She was an opponent and a damn capable one at that.
❑ So, yes. Maybe Ochako and Katsuki aren't exactly best friends who'd die for each other. But they’ve proven to each other that if there's someone who'll bring their all to a fight no matter the circumstance, it's each other.
❑ Ochako’s weariness when it came to Katsuki was short lived. It was kind of hard to be so...afraid of someone who treated you better than others seemed to coddle her when she told them she was a hero-in-training.
❑ It starts small, too. At first it was just teaming up occasionally during class for spars. Then it was going to the gym after school with Katsuki and Eijirou.
❑ Tiny little hang-outs like that then turn into joining the blonde on his morning runs every once in a while, and eventually Ochako found herself seeking out Bakugou every weekend, and the blonde seemed to be on the same mind-track, too. Every Sunday, when Ochako pulled open the front door, she spotted Katsuki, stretching out in the front lawn, waiting for her.
❑ (and if they occasionally have breakfast together after their bi-weekly sunday training sessions, then that's their business.)
Tumblr media
→ Shouto & Eijirou
❑ them hanging out wasn't really ever. Expected. Like, at all.
❑ but kirishima's shown that he has a knack for weird, almost hostile awkward boys with low friend counts
❑ so shouto fits right in
❑ really it starts when Kirishima finds Shouto in the common room, staring into space. Usually he'd leave him be, but it was weird to see the boy without his group of friends joining him
❑ in an effort to get to know shouto better, kiri offers to play a few rounds of super smash bros,,, and shouto just. blinks. at him. And kiri blinked back for a second before he realizes shouto didn't know what super smash bros was
❑ and of course, to kiri, that's absolute blasphemy
❑ so kiri abandons his trip to the kitchen in favor of sitting next to shouto on the couch, and teaching him how to play as many video games as they could fit in one night
❑ (the first time kiri sees shouto laugh, he can't help the way his face splits into a grin. Todoroki, while not mean, was someone who came off as cold most of the time, so to see him so relaxed made Eijirou feel warm.)
❑ somehow it becomes a regular thing-- shouto would come downstairs, and eventually Kirishima would show up. Sometimes they were both alone, sometimes they were surrounded by their friend groups. But every time without fail, Kirishima would take his place next to shouto, hand him the blue controller that he favored, and turned on the TV to select the first game they'd be playing
❑ (watching Shouto start to gain some of Kirishima's vernacular was also an interesting - read:hilarious - experience)
Tumblr media
→ Mina & Yuga
❑break dancing buddies
❑ like. I'm not kidding these two have moves.
❑ well. Mina does, at least. Aoyama gets it pretty quickly but it took him a second to familiarize himself with how your body moves when your break dancing.
❑ aoyama's danced ballet most of his life, so dancing wasn't new to him
❑ but this particular type of dancing was new to him- so of course he reached out to mina after the UA festival
❑ mina, ever the angel, agreed!!!!! Dancing buddies!!!
❑ Mina's also loved dance for a good amount of time
❑ it started in middle school, and just carried into highschool. The idea of being to express yourself with your /body/ was exciting, plus you looked really cool while doing it too!
❑ so when she gets asked by Aoyama to teach him how to breakdance she's nervous, but completely giddy to be able to be someone else's intro to a hobby that was a big part of her life
❑ it's not an uncommon sight to see mina and Aoyama, in their workout clothes, working through moves Step by step with Mina's phone blasting some random song that was beat heavy
❑ (Aoyama would be an interesting extra add on to the bakusquad. Am I wrong? No 🚗)
Tumblr media
→ Hanta & Tsuyu
❑ Sero never really interacted with tsuyu, not to say he didn't like her! she just wasn't in his social circle
❑ so to say he felt awkward when he found her in the corner of the library during free period- curled up and sniveling away - was an understatement
❑ still, he put down the fourth issue of a manga he was /really/ looking forward to catching up on, and sat next to her until she calmed down enough to tell him what's wrong
❑ turns out, winter always sucked and made her tired, which made her sad. Added on to the already existing amphibian instincts in her that hated loud noises or too many people, it could get really overwhelming for her
❑ Sero offered to let her into his room whever she wanted to hang out in the quiet, if she felt embarrassed to do so with her closer friends
❑ she seemed surprised, but quickly agreed.
❑ Sero wouldn't tell her, but he often felt the same in a sense. The only two people in his friend group who could be relatively quiet in more personal settings were Bakugou, ironically, and Kirishima. So he often found himself leaving group hang-outs just a little early, to destress in his quiet room.
❑ tsuyu hadn't expected him to stay with her, and especially not offer his room to her whenever she needed to get away. Still, she agreed, knowing she'd probably never take him up on his offer
❑ she was proven wrong three days later, when Ochako squealed about...something.
❑ tsuyu couldn't say for sure what the floaty girl was yelling about. Normally she was attentive, really! But her head was throbbing and she was on the verge of falling asleep then and there when Ochako burst into a loud yell of excitement, startling the frog-like girl
❑ so tsuyu gathered her stuff as quickly as her sluggish body allowed, rushed out a quick goodbye to her baffled friends and made her way to the dorms
❑ the elevator was a struggle, with the humming of the machinery almost lulling her to sleep. She made it out successfully, though due to her drowsiness and increasingly blurring vision, she realized just a little too late that she had wandered down the wrong hallway
❑ sero's name plate made her stutter in her tracks, but after a moment of deliberation that left her swaying on her feet, she knocked as strongly as she could on the thin door, hoping the lanky boy was in his room
❑ thankfully, he was, and he only offered her a small smile before ushering her into the room and guiding her to his bed. Tsuyu thinks she croaked out a tiny "thanks", but she couldn't really be sure
❑ she slept better in those 39 minutes than she had in weeks
❑ after that, tsuyu somehow got into the habit of wandering down the opposite hallway once she left the elevator, and most of the time Sero would open his door when she knocked, only giving her a smile before letting her wander to his bed or, more commonly, the pile of blankets and bean bags he had in a corner of his room.
❑ (she wouldn't admit it, and neither would he, but the times where they walked back to his dorm together once their free period began were their favorites. and the days where tsuyu wasn't so sleepy and they talked for the hour they had weren't so bad, either)
Tumblr media
okokok i’m cutting it here since that last section was super long! who knew i had so much to say about hanta and tsuyu ,,,,

A friendstory White Mage x reader scenario where he tutors the reader who has trouble learning something
on the lines, pt. 1
pairing(s): friendstory au!white mage x reader
post: 05
warnings: swearing
w/c: 1678
a/n: my oneshot lengths are so inconsistent tbh
Tumblr media
You swore under your breath over and over again, tightly gripping near the roots of your hair. In your frustration, it seemed like your mind protested against focusing on anything but how much this situation sucked. The numbers and letters on the crisp page before you seemed to swirl and dance back and forth, vibrating with pure, unapologetic attention deficit energy. You wanted to release the stream of tears that bit at your cornea, crumble the little paper up into a ball, and throw it on the ground with all your power.
Today ended up being a bad day. Stan gruffly chuckled once he had graded your calculus test, and announced to the entire class that only one person had failed. You sunk into your desk in shame and felt your cheeks heat up when he lazily wagged a finger in you direction, and said that you had exactly one chance to retake the test, or else it was your membership in the archery club on the line.
The pale student teacher frowned from his corner, where he had been quietly observing the class. He had noted that most students seemed at ease, and some even breezed through the test within a few minutes. He watched you mostly, though. It wasn't a lack for trying, which was the saddest part for him, and it was a shame that you tried so hard for nothing. The teacher's instincts in him wanted to wander over, and offer words of encouragement, and perhaps a suggestion to take a break and cool off for a minute. But, Stan had been very clear that he was to simply observe for today, and the student teacher was technically still a student after all, that had to follow directions.
So, he waited until class was over, and you dejectedly swung a book bag over your shoulder. Pushing past the flock of first and second year girls that were seeking validation from him, the student teacher half-jogged to catch up to you. After touching your shoulder gently, he was pleasantly surprised when you looked at him with an unimpressed, exhausted glare. At least you weren't overwhelming, like some other girls at this school. "I noticed you were trying really hard on that test," he said, "And I wanted to see if you would like for me to tutor you? It seems a shame that you would lose a club over this."
At first, your expression turned into a sneer, but then you looked away to contemplate. Archery was definitely the highlight of your high school career, and you had felt that Mr. Stan's teaching method just didn't mesh well with you when it came to math. Not to mention, a bad rep on your math history would influence your choices of college. Maybe this was what you needed. "Yeah, okay, when and where?" you said, begrudgingly, placing a hand on your hip.
The student teacher hummed for a moment, thinking. It couldn't be somewhere the younger students would feel the need to flood over him, but it couldn't be somewhere too secluded, because that would be sketchy. "Say, that café a block over? After school today?" he said. You nodded, and began to turn away.
"See 'ya," you said, throwing a wave over your shoulder. Your next period, science, went by fairly quickly. Mostly because you had just sat in the back with Irena and Oz, gossiping and talking about your days, which was slightly focused on your interaction with the student teacher.
"He kind of emits, like, an aura of self importance, y'know?" Oz said, which Irena nodded along with.
"Yeah, right? But he seemed nice from what I saw. Seemed genuinely trying to help me. I guess I'll see for sure after school today," you said, shrugging. The subject changed fleetingly, although you continued to think about him. He was rather hard to read— his eyes shone with neither kindness nor coldness, but his voice did the real talking. It was a smooth voice, charismatic, and knowing just the right tones to hit in order to please the ears of his company.
And just as the shrill sound of the bell rang throughout the halls, students hurried to grab their belongings and file out the door. Arkarium, in the middle of a sentence, dropped his hand from the chalkboard and watched in defeat. Oz and Irena remained where they were, still engrossed in gossip of the day. Irena glanced at you and waved. "I'll miss you at practice today," she said. You smiled and said goodbye to the pair before making your way down the familiar, neverending stairwell of Shinsoo Academy.
When you had opened the door to the café, the student teacher, with his charming smile, waved you down. He sat at a bar in front of a window with a good view of the street and it's pedestrians. You awkwardly shuffled towards him, and took a seat in the chair he had patted earlier. With the tips of his fingers, he pushed one of the coffee cups with kraft sleeves towards you, steam swirling from the little opening. "Hot chocolate," he said, "I went ahead and ordered you some. It's a bit chilly today, and they had too many teas to choose from, so I thought it was a safe choice."
For a few seconds, you were too stunned to do anything but blink. "Oh, um, yeah, I like hot chocolate. Here, let me get you back—" you said, beginning to reach for your wallet in the side pocket of your bag. He began to protest, and gently pulled you back up by your arm.
"No, don't worry about that— my treat, honest. Why don't you just pull out some lined paper?" he said. You hesitated, leering at the student teacher suspiciously. What reason would he have to be this nice? With your eyes still on him, you unsnapped the clasps of your book bag and pulled out your notebook. When you placed it on the bar, he quickly flipped it open, letting pages fall under his thumb until the next blank page landed. With a flick of his wrist, he snatched out the mechanical pencil you had neatly tucked within the coils of your notebook.
After a few minutes of silence other than the bustle within the café and an occasional car honking, the student teacher had written each and every integration by part formula out on the page, neatly on the lines in small font, from memory. You could already feel the letters and numbers shifting again. "Math is a language, just like any other. You learn to utilize it and memorize the words, you'll be able to talk through any problem. Does that make sense?" He paused to glance at your blank stare— he had lost you already. "In other words," he continued, "You memorize these formulas and plug them into whatever problem the test gives you, you're golden." You nodded, with your mouth hanging slightly open. He couldn't help but let a chuckle escape.
Your eyes widened at the sound. "H-hey! This is my intellectual doom you're laughing at!" you said jabbing a finger against his chest.
"I'm sorry," he said between laughs, attempting to gather himself again. "You're right, I'm sorry. Here, let me give it a go, and then it's your turn." You chewed on your cheek as you watched him think for only a moment, before scribbling out a perfect problem, and then writing the formula signs below, and plugging in the known letters. His hand wandered to his smartphone, which lay beside his coffee, and began to punch numbers and letters into a math app. Your brows furrowed as you followed his hand. He glanced at you occasionally, and offered a smile, and some part of you began to understand why the first and second years were so fond of him. His voice, his looks, even his personality, you admitted that they were electric.
When it was your turn, you took up the pencil with much thought. You wrote the formula signs under the next problem he had written, on the lines, and frequently referred back to his previous work. He slid his smartphone towards you. It had black metal panels, with no case. Who doesn't have a case?
You shook your head. Focus, damnit. Functions, formulas, numbers, letters. The student teacher would lean closer and look over your shoulder before offering words of encouragement, and little hints on what to do next. You began to realize there was a pattern— a routine, and you could predict what he was going to say before he said it. Sometimes, you would slip up while calculating, but his hand would find it's way under yours, and correct the mistakes. Your cheeks would heat up, and you would take a moment to admire the faint smile across his lips, and the kind expression on his face.
"See? You're getting this. You're a smart girl, you know, some subjects are just more difficult for some people." You smiled to yourself as you continued to rush through the problems presented. Honestly, you hadn't felt this good about math is a very long time. You looked up to see the student teacher, languidly grinning and leaning on his elbow. In front of you, the sun dipped under a distant, short building, between skyscrapers. The clouds reflected fiery red light on their undersides, and remained ivory and airy everywhere else.
"I think I've got it. Mostly," you said, relieved. "I really owe you." The student teacher chuckled and ran a hand through his wild, white hair.
"You don't owe me at all. I enjoy your company— and all I really want is to see you succeed," he said before sighing. You tilted your head, considering that maybe he really was just a good person, simple as that. "Anyways, It's getting rather late. Same time tomorrow?"
"O-oh," you stuttered, after taking the last sip of your hot chocolate. "I actually wanted to go to archery practice tomorrow. Maybe the next day?"
The student teacher nodded. "Sounds good. Perhaps I'll have to sit in on your practice tomorrow— it sounds awfully interesting."
You smiled at him, content, before gathering your things and tossing your empty cup into a nearby trashcan. "I'd like that. See 'ya tomorrow," you said, giving him a brief side hug. His arm wrapped around your side, and pressed you further against his double-breasted coat. When you walked through the café's door, you spared one last look over your shoulder, and met the aqua eyes of the student teacher. His smile grew wider until the faint laugh lines around his mouth grew deeper, and his eyes squinted slightly. You couldn't help but reciprocate a smile just as happy, before bracing yourself for the evening coolness.
