NOT to cheapen a beautiful and very emotional scene but I love that Vader just tossed Sidious over a safety railing. You’re so right king he DOSEN’T deserve a climactic 10-minute lightsaber-force-lava-showdown-duel like Obi-Wan did
I have conflicted feelings about the FNAF series in general, but seeing a movie where practical animatronic puppets are the primary focus of the film becoming not only financially successful but also well received by general audiences is pretty damn neat.
Relevant to the upcoming solar eclipse in various North American cities: "The sun is not your friend, the sun is nobody's friend, the sun is a giant ball of blithering chaos." (BCS chicanery)
i think a fun part of the Amenosagume/Amewakahiko story is the fact that when Amenosagume talked him into shooting the heavenly messenger bird, his arrow went through the bird, flew up into heaven, and basically landed in Amaterasu's lap
someone immediately went 'oh hey, isn't that Amewakahiko's arrow? Seems kinda suspicious. Let's throw it back, but in a way where it'll only hit him if he's betrayed us.'
he was asleep when his own arrow came back and killed him.
anyway this is the level of absurdity I want from any situation where Sagume's voice makes a situation backfire.
METATRON: Why did you put on the Chuck suit in the first place? How did that make any sense to you?
CHUCK: I like front row seats. You know, I figured I'd hide out in plain sight. You know, plus, you know, acting is fun.
One of the funniest things to happen in Sonic X is Sonic falling onto his knees, desperately begging for a helicopter to come back, and this helicopter leaving is what causes him to do a complete personality switch.
He starts to emotionally manipulate his little brother into thinking his plane has feelings and misses him, which works so he then emotionally manipulates Amy by making her believe he has feelings for her.
Keep in mind he does this being 100% aware Amy is in love with him and that he doesn’t actually return any of these feelings, but he’s so desperate that he’s trying everything he can. He goes to tell Chris and Chuck that Amy and Tails have gone crazy completely randomly and without reason, and smirks like a little shit when he hears his plan is actually working, they even animate his ear moving as he listens to Chuck and Chris talk. Just when things are going Sonic’s way, Amy and Cream walk into the room and expose that Sonic told Amy he has feelings for her, which tells Chris and Chuck that Sonic’s responsible for what has transpired recently.
Not wanting to face the consequences for his actions, Sonic literally crawls out of the frame thinking he’s got off scot-free. But he also forgets this is literally Amy, so once she finds out he was lying to her she immediately goes into kill mode and in response Sonic literally cowards on the top of a pole bc he knows he’s aboutta die.
Amy does manage to knock him off the pole and, instead of running away like he usually would, Sonic just lets her angrily sit on him bc he rlly just accepted his fate like that.
Why did he do all this? Because nobody once thought putting Sonic the Hedgehog on a literal boat in the middle of the ocean was a bad idea.
