Bir süredir bu kitabı okuyorum. Instagramda yıllardır takip ettiğim bir terapist anne olmakla ilgili soru soran kişilere bu kitabı okumalarını önermişti. Ben de merak edip aldım. Psikoloji kitapları okumayı seviyorum, kendimi keşfediyorum, daha çok çocukluğumu... Ebeveynlerimle çatışma halinde değilim, biraz öfkem var, fazlaca alacaklı hissediyorum. Nelerden yoksun büyüdüğümü, nelerin bana verilmediğini, neleri kendim öğrenmek zorunda kaldığımı görmek ve bunları mümkünse iyileştirmek istiyorum. Bu bakış açımla kitabı kendi çocukluğum için okuyorum.
Kitap 3 bölümden oluşuyor. İlk iki bölümün sonları beni biraz zorladı. Hatta en zorlandığım yer birinci bölümün sonlarıydı. Bir miktar ağladım hatta. Duygusal ihmalin büyük boyutunu ve yetişkinlik hayatıma yansımalarını gördüm. En zor kısımları atlattım sanırım. Kitabın diğer yarısı iyileşmek üzerine. Bölüm başlığı "Annenin açtığı yaraların iyileştirilmesi" Asıl beklentim bu kısımdan. Kitabın baskısı yoktu ikinci el aldım. Fosforlu kalemle çizilen kısımlar benden önce okuyan kişinin işaretlediği yerler. Bazen onunla aynı satırları çiziyorum, onun çizdiği satırın yanına yıldız çiziyorum. O kişiyle oturup üzerine konuşmak isterdim. Neyse ki arkadaşımla aynı anda okuyoruz, ikimiz de yalnız okumaya cesaret edemediğimiz için birbirimizden güç alıp başladık. Tesadüf ya onun da listesinde bu kitap varmış hatta başlayıp bırakmış. Konuştukça çocukluğumuz ne kadar benzer diyoruz sonra bu benzerliğe üzülüyoruz. Öyleli...
