the adap writers didnt "kill off" Kuzuryū during the Beach arc bc theyre all secret nirashiya shippers and wanted to give us more content during the voting scene but seeing the fandom reaction to the shippers made them sad so they added Niragi giving a gun to Chishiya in s2 bc it shows he at least cares enough to make it fair. but then the same thing happened in the fandom post s2 release so they had to make a s3 to clear up any and all misconceptions and make gay people real. the proof was there all along
