Aight I've been pondering about this for a while now....y'all remember Slithraa? The former hypnobrai general?

Idk if you all do but damn I kinda miss this guy, I think his last appearance was the last episode of season 3: rebooted and then he just poof out of thin air

I wish he had a more bigger role like Skales, Pythor and Aspheera or at least a cameo or one of the characters just mentioning his name

Aight thanks for listening to my opinion rant commentary thingy or whatevs, I just wanted to get this out of my chest lmao

Slithraa!

Ngl I had to look up who Slithraa was exactly cause I didn't fully remember. I knew he was a Serpentine but I didn't remember he was the general before Skales was (probably because they never mention his name in the actual show)

Slithraa is cool. Any serpentine is automatically gonna be a character I enjoy. I do think he's really interesting conceptually, like imagine being the general of the Hypnobrai for seemingly a long time, only to accidentally get mind controlled by a kid and get overthrown by another Hypnobrai because of it. And then that Hypnobrai becomes the king of all the serpentine and you just kinda have to go with it. Honestly, justice for Slithraa he deserves better. Kinda interested in reading a fic about him dealing with all that now.

Anyways, Here’s Belladonna. Tall Anacondrai lady, mother to Vasuki, wife to Slithraa, and famous archer to the Anacondrai tribe. She was also known for her ways of wanting to make peace. I guess you can compare her to Valka in HTTYD 2. (That’d make Slithraa, Stoick and Vasuki Hiccup which is going to be kinda ironic with Katherina being a child of the Azure Dragon Samurai.)

“Lance” kept walking through the Hypnobrai Tomb with no signs of Hypnobrai anywhere, he was getting really cold he didn’t remember the Tomb being this cold in his realm....

“Lance” kept walking until he slipped, he closed his eyes and shoved his arms forwards to break his fall as he fell but....it never came, “Lance” slowly opened his eyes and noticed that a tail was holding him, “Lance” carefully looked up, keeping his eyes averted from the Serpentine’s.....yup it was Slithraa

“Lance” was happy to have found Slithraa but he knew the snake would try and hypnotize him... and he was caught in Slithraa’s tail....could he try and fall like this? Get Slithraa hypnotized by his reflection again? “Lance” tried to squirm around a bit and break free from Slithraa’s tail

Slithraa👑:”oh relaxssss child....I will not hurt you....yet....what bringsssss a child to our tomb hmm?”

“Lance” kept looking away from Slithraa

“Lance”🐉:”I u-uh....fell into the tomb...I was just wandering around and fell into the tomb....”

Oh this was going horribly....he could try to use his elemental powers to escape but then what? He’s kind of stuck in the tomb at the moment....

Slithraa👑:”oh really…? Ssssomehow I doubt a child could be wandering the Glacier Barrenssssss freely and then find our tomb, ssssssomebody ssssssent you didn’t they…?”

“Lance”🐉:”what?! no! No one sent me to find your tomb I’m being honest!”

“Lance” kept his eyes away from Slithraa

Slithraa👑:”Ah but you keep your eyessss averted meaning you know about the Hypnobrai power....”

“Lance” thought for a moment, he was going to have to use his powers wasn’t he? “Lance” took a deep breath and built up an energy blast and got free from Slithraa’s grasp—

Only for him to slip and fall onto the ground and stare right into Slithraa’s eyes as he used hypnosis—

No! no! no! no! “Lance” tried to look away or close his eyes but....everything was getting fuzzy and he had the urge to just obey Slithraa....he could only stare into Slithraa’s eyes as his thoughts got muddy and he couldn’t think straight

Slithraa👑:”you will obey”

“Lance”🐉:”I...I...will obey....”

Why was he so worried again…? He liked Slithraa as his leader....

Slithraa👑:”the boy is under my control ssssir....”

Pythor😈:”excellent work Ssssslithraa….now I have that brat under my control....”

“But then we focus on a new character, a dark blue reptillian humanoid with a cobra-like hood and a long, brick-built rattlesnake tail. He has red eyes with spiral patterns. But his most noticeable feature is a large, faded scar that can be seen spanning across his entire torso. This is GENERAL FANG THE HYPNOBRAI.”

General Fang is an original composite character. He mostly resembles General Skales but with Slithraa’s subservience, a scarred torso like most Venomari and a brick build tail, like from the concept art in the “Ninjago Making Of” book. 

I would have just straight up made him Skales if it weren’t for the fact that Skales would be too ambitious to settle for being Garmadon’s lackey. The Skales from the show would have tried to overthrow Garmadon the moment an opportunity presented itself. But that’s not what the story needed. 

General Fang is also the only General in the story to have a name instead of a number. While it does not mean General Fang is more combat-capable than the other generals, he certainly outranks them and is seen as indispensable to Garmadon.
